BlackBerry KEY2 LE - User Reviews

  • i bought in india

  • Hello.About the update depend on which country/region is the deviced that you are using too.Where you buy the Key2 LE ? Thank you.

  • For BB key 2 Le no software update since 8.1.0 and security patch 1 dec 2018. How to get it?

  • BBM? who uses this today? those who still ro IRC chat or have C64 in their "treasures". been using Blackberry for 5 generations, but didnt use BBM at all.. BBM maybe 2005, when Blackberry had their corporate hype

  • Hello.BBM is no longer develop and support by Blackberry on their android phone. But if you like that chat, you can also use on their devices BBM enterprise which is similar to the original BBM,but with a cost,as what i know to 6 $ per year.Thank you.

  • BlackBerry but without BBM?

  • Hello.BBMobile did not announce yet the timeline when their devices Key2 and Key2 LE will get android 9.But i think at least at the end of the year probably the phones will get theupdates.Thank you.

  • is this device get pie update?

  • QWERTY in 2019😂😂😂&#128514;

  • your asking price for this device is very high with a hardware of 300 dollar phone how can compit to samsung and iPhone with that garbage hardware yes key board is unique and i love it but still expensive

  • I love BBs as much as most tough I want a cheaper BB model for the western market near or about 200-250euro max... I think there is a market for a secure phone with aprox 3500-4000mAh battery without keyboard if required to hit the right price point. V-V

  • Hello.BB is not finished .They are still alive and very strong now as a software company. They have their target group which using their great phone-Law firm, banks, medical fields, government agencie and physical keyboard lovers, all of them chose Blackberry. So still has BB phone around the world, and now they are on android, which you can access to all the application.Thank you.

  • Blackberry is finished. Who is buying?

  • Hello. The Key2 is a flagship devices, and it has a great build quality. In other side is the Key2 LE,which is more affordable from the price, and also the keyboard is not touch sensitive like on the Key2..The Key2 cost around 649 $,and Key2 LE,cost 400 $.So choose what you think is best for you.Thank you.

  • bb key2 or bb key2 le?

  • Unihertz made a 1440x1440 screen Android phone with Keyboard and Blackberry haven't yet because?!! Passport V2 & 5G in 2020 please!!! ;_;

  • Hello. The Keyone is a phone has been released in May 2017.But beside that, don't worry .Is a great phone that has good build quality, long lasting batery life, and it runs android OS,which you can access to all the application that you want.Thank you.

  • I was worried because I recently purchased the keyone and I thought this was a new release.

  • BlackBerry is not just a phone like Apple or Samsung. BlackBerry is in fact a lifestyle. Therefore people who like BlackBerry they like its every style.

  • Blackberry should reinvent their phones if the want to survive. The era of buttons phones is over.

  • Hello.The Key2 LE,is a lite version of the Key2,and has a more affordable price,which it cost around 400 $.So it's a price tag,for everyone.Thank you.

  • I love your unique design black berry, but I don't have much money to buy this kind of very nice and super col phone

  • Is there a screen shot facility.

  • Thank you.

  • It runs Android and has access to the Google Play app store. So yes, it can download and use WhatsApp

  • Is the BlackBerry Key 2 LE Slate WhatsApp messenger supported? I'd like to buy the phone but I have the Z10 which WhatsApp messenger does not work on and everyone here in South Africa uses WhatsApp to chat. I struggle maintaining contact with people as I do not have WhatsApp. So, can I download WhatsApp messenger on BlavkBerry Key 2 LE Slate?

  • I agree. An Android Blackberry Passport 2 pleasseeee!!

  • Blackberry = Expensive ? Their Name in the market, their reliability, the security offered, the components used, the minimum quality standard, what more ?? It costs money to make awesome products

  • Awesome phone by BB once again. Except for the size of the phone, everything is perfect. They could have shrink the phone size to 4 inches, so that it would match upto totoal 5 inch phone including key pad. Awesome features in this phone. Best is the cloning app which comes inbuilt and numerous shortcut keys for launching apps. The camera is wonderful and the pictures are crisp. The 3000mah battery serves full day purpose. But again this is not for gamers and youtube lovers. The dual sim is the best feature in this phone. Only if the price could have been on the lower side. Has BBM as well but its going to shutdown by May 10. So BBM wont be of much use going forward. The speaker is on the bottom so the incoming calls indication is pretty clear. As always no regrets in buying this awesome phone. I love BB. You are awesome.

  • This device would be good if it was with a ip rating, do not feel safe to spend this much on a device just to have a little rain brick it... :c (tough the keyboard may make it impossible?)

  • Waiting when Blackberry Silver Edition will be launched again with Android OS

  • Or a slider :) (Priv 2)

  • Foldable with keyboard maybe? :D

  • Hello sir.Until now android OS did not support a 1:1 aspect ratio to produce a new passport version. But will the release of the foldable phone, with a square screen maybe TCL will launch in the future a similar design to that phone.Overall for now the Key2 and Key2 LE are the best BB possible.Thank you.

  • I like the styles of this BB, very classy.

  • why not Passport android...???

  • Blackberries are the best!!!

  • i love the boxish design. the sharp corners make it easier for me to hold.

  • Security-Privacy design unlike other idiot manufacturers who keep the worst of Android, then add... more bad things like bloat and foistware that is spyware. Security updates way longer than many manufacturers? Professional-orientated business model (you know, that has standards, rather than abuse and lies at its heart like lesser manufacturers, except perhaps Apple...) - You get what you pay for, and SOMEONE has to encourage good standards, which in this world means pay money, not just make appreciative grunting! ;-)

  • Blackberry is not a plastic toy to run games.it was made for professionals. The elegance that is perceived in a Blackberry phone is in no other mobile competitor though they might have better specs or more expensive brands. When you hold a Blackberry dressed in your business suit, people go eyes on your attractive mobile your holding. Women say you can tell something about the Men who wear an expensive pair of shoes and now its all about shoes and that mannish Blackberry mobile your holding. Each time I hold any of my Blackberry mobiles (cause I have them all) and now key2;After I receive a call, I am always asked if they can see what am using. Thank You Todd Wood, Blackberry senior vice president of design."Chapeau Bas".

  • Why the physical keyboard indeed?? it should be smart as evolve or motion. Bring Motion X or LE. On Evolve, what a great machine t is!!!!!!

  • Thank you for keeping the keyboard! The only thing missing is dedicated call buttons. Please add a dedicated call pickup and call end button like previous Blackberry phones and you have yourself a buyer.

  • why still physical keyboard again? its boring, may be this one for some, i real love blackberry phones but what is the drawback for me is physical keyboard at all. reasonable display, battery, software

  • They should release a Motion 2 all touch. Majority of people that want to upgrade want all touch secure Blackberry's with great specs.

  • I'm here for the nostalgia

  • TCL should release Priv 2 (with water resistance feature) instead of this phone

  • blackberry evolve should be in this dimension

  • Blackberry is primarily for the executives and with key2 they have done well again.but the real "chapeau bas" is for BB designers, such elegance,it stands out from all other mobile Brands.

  • Then go for BB Key 2 (without LE) it does have 6gb snap 660. But I still dont know about the price yet

  • why a 636? If they put a 660 in there I probably would have bought it. 360$ for 366 is a no

  • BlackBerry still targeting the same market 15 years later

  • For a Phone Strickly for Work, and I mean real work, Like Coding C+, HTML, and V.net is amazing, Makes Remote Desktop in to Servers and doing server Admin over wifi/Cell is amazing, Simple things like messenger, FB, and email is amazing to.. my point, if u need a device for real work and a lot of typing this is the best bang for the buck... Its not a gaming phone, its not a photo/video recording phone, Its not a consumption phone, its a "get the job done phone... Worth ever penny for the key2 Le version

  • Another point a second E-sim would be great...which all the big guys are doing.

  • You are right it will work, but T-Mobile quotes that it will work much better in a lot of areas with added 600 mhz.And I hope they will add it on in future models.

  • Hello sir.BB Priv has been updated from android 5 to android 6,and actually has no more support. It's better for you to go on a BB Key2 or Key2 LE.Thank you.

  • Is there software upgrade for the Priv?

  • It's not like you can't survive without it.

  • Why did you leave the band 71 (600) MHZ which all the new phones come with?? WHY? I just hope you'll re-consider it. otherwise it is a beaytiful phone.

  • Software long term update plan? Hopefully. OwO

  • 200% Agreed

  • As of my opinion, camera could get better in this price range. Navigation can be given inside the screen. Camera outer shouldn't be aroused. Must be same level with body

  • Well if they can at least install a very good camera in this phone, I for one will definitely go back to Blackberry. At least a good camera will compensate that small screen as you can pass on good photos to other devices.

  • well i could imagine one reason would be production. The extra procedure of manufacturing and assembling the keyboard adds to cost. Then there's also the fact they're the only ones who makes these type of phones as of the moment. Its a gamble but it also gives them the privelege of not following current price of similar spec'd phones but w/out the keyboard.

  • yeah, i think ill get this LE or i might wait for the 3rd edition for next year. Hoping that TLC/BB mobile learns from the 2s shortcomings and make the necessary adjustments.

  • What is the thing that makes blackberry so expensive??

  • It may sound hilarious to see touchscreen phones with keypad below the screen. It is like looking an 10 year old device in 2018. But I'm amazed by how BB managed to keep their own and old design while having updated processor.

  • i was PRIV user, and i moved back to Passport. Priv has beautiful display, but tend to overheat, is slow, with obsolete android, HW keyboard is useless and BB HUB simply slow. my opinion if you want blackberry with android, get as new model as possible

  • Great phone for business, only improvement i can think would be to make the phone shorter size by removing the navigation buttons above the keyboard. Can be moved to keyboard, gesture, or a floating dot on the screen.

  • Hello sir.Go for a Key 2 LE,because the Priv did not have more support. The Key 2 LE is with android 8 and i think will have at least 2 year support. The Key2 LE has a afordable price at 400$,and is for the people that want a keyboard but don't want to spend much more than that price.Thank you.

  • key2 LE or the older Priv for 2018? looking for qwerty phone with android on the cheap. My budget is very limited hehe. I'd appreciate your or anyone input. Thanks

  • priv was the best phone ever made, and maybe you should consider making another priv without qwerty keypad, or come up with another classic phone like the prov phone, stop releasing these phones that looks a like "the keyone design".

  • it's an 400€ device. Sadly blackberry doesn't care about this price range, but would sell ALOT more.

  • It will be nice device if the price arround 300$

  • Man yes its a 5 inch but a 4,5 inch screen will be less powerhungry.

  • The screen is 4.5" so its still as big as most phones these days

  • It's the same size as most tall 5" phones. There's just less screen and more keyboard. Now, a 4" phone with slim bezels... that would be a great thing.

  • The price is on the SD845 range guess I'll go for the neighbor who sells the higher specced phone on the same priced

  • lol how is this compact?

  • Finaly a real compact phone in forests full pf phablets tabllets and phone with huge 6,4 and more screen and only 3000 mAh battery. This one will be beast for sure.

  • here comes the Blackberry bashing comments...
