I've been using this phone for almost 3 years. Bought it on 30/9/2017. Here are my thoughts; CAMERA: Good primary camera. I love to capture sceneries & this phone does its job well. Beautiful outcome in natural light (outdoors at daytime). The best thing about it is the time lapse feature. The secondary/selfie camera is average in my opinion. Simply put, its not too sharp but its not bad either. CAPACITY: This phone has 16gb of internal storage & 2gb of ram. I don't install a lot of apps, but I do surf the internet heavily & as I said, I take a lot of photos. Today, after 3 years, I used up 93% of my internal storage. A few lags every now & then, especially when I'm changing between apps like youtube, instagram, whatsapp & google. I wish the ram & storage was larger, but I can't ask too much from a budget phone. BATTERY: 3100mAh. With very heavy surfing, mine only lasts for about half a day. With moderate usage (less surfing, + music & whatsapp), it lasts for a day or so. MISC: It has FM radio, which is a major plus point for me because I use it frequently (some phones don't have it). No gyro for camera, unfortunately. My favourite feature for this phone is the split screen, you can multitask & use 2 apps at a time by long-pressing the square button on the panel bar below. If you're not used to big screens (note that this was released in 2016, 5.5" phones were considered large back then), you can simply slide the panel bar below to the left or right. It will adjust the screen size. Overall, this phone is above average in my opinion. It has its perks, but its worth every cent of its price.

I can't record stories (Snapchat, Instagram) , it has video problems, video gets slow/freezes but the audio works fine. Did anyone get a fix for this issue? Also cannot remove a lock screen by selecting no as it is disabled by administrator, the only solution to this is a reset or back up pin using the pattern lock screen option.

It isn't a good phone under 10k. Keypad is lagging even now while I am typing this comment, heats up while gaming or even when downloading something. It has only 10.44 GB usable space. It is also a bit heavy to hold and the battery drains very fast. It needs 3 hours to be fully charged from 20%. It is also not user friendly. For example, if u wanna remove the screen pattern lock, first u will have to type a wrong password and then enter the backup pin. Only then will the screen lock be removed. There is no option in the settings to remove it. It also lacks a finger print senser or metal body.The camera it is the only thing I liked a little bit. I recommend everyone to not buy this phone

No, I inquired about this issue with customer service and they are the saying that this device does not support naugat. With 2 gb of ram and kirin processor this device doesn't support naugat and it's horrible.

I don't think it ever will, but it's to be expected for a phone at this price range to be left unsupported even just little update/patches But for its monster cameras and the big screen I'd personally say you need nothing more, the OS (Marshmallow) will likely stay relevant for about 2 or 3 years, idk, even my father's Xperia Z Ultra stays on Lollipop the latest and he's still using it anyway

Dear friends ...in this rate this is a very good phone,every phone is not exact perfect.This smartphone has a very good cam of 13mp and 8mp and 5.5 inch with 2gb ram....even though it has a good battery of 3100mAh ,it has a small battery problem ....but it is adjustable . I have this phone for more than a month.Average perfnc but small heat on back of mob ...which is also adjustable. In my opinion I suggest u this phone...or if even more better buy Honor Holly plus ...which will give u aditional fingers print senser.

one of the worst mobile i've had in my life. battery is discharging so fast, phone material isn't completely metal, specially the back cover it's so easily be broken when it fall down and the most serious problem is the internal storage!! the program are installed by default in internal storage and you have no option to move it to SD card, whatever you did you will not have any solution unless you rerooted the ROM of your phone!. what the hell.. it's a mobile phone with android V.6 but it's mentality like Android v.2 !

Dumbest Phone ever, if you love your money a little much then pls don't go for this.... I too fooled by the greedy shopkeeper and bought this. Reasons i hate this phone:- 1. It heats a lot, literally u can cook omlette over it. 2. After 2 month i boughted it, it's motherboard automatically got damaged, it suddenly hangs out while using. 3. loudspeakers is of very poor quality, the sound totally wrecks out while playing, very annoying. 4. Not for heavy usage, the processor is very slow. 5. Camera is the only thing i liked in this but the color quality of the display is very poor.... totally under rated. 6. Service Centre - I gave it to service centre for repairing, they gave my phone back after 8 days, after i came back home i inserted the sim card and memory & then i noticed that the phone is not recognising any of the dual sim cards.... Its only after that i posted this comment, in hope that others would not fooled out same like me..... Now i can surely expect more troubles from my Huawei Honor Holy 3 phone... Its totally upto you

The GPU that comes with the chipset is not really a powerful one. The Kirin 620 chipset max temperature when at full utilization is only close to 50 degrees Celsius so it don't heats much. Is only because the 8 cortex a53 cores on the chipset are clocked low at 1.2GHz. I don't know what you did to your device but mines don't overheat much, at least not compared to my last device.

I am user of mid rang phones , this the first phone (Huawei Y6 II) who's battery is very bad , very fast depleting, As well as this become hot back and front (screen). I think it is because of its gpu which is made by huawei locally Kirin 620. I am about 55 years old advising people please do not waist your money to buy this phone.

yeah the battery isnt the most durable out there it eventually quickly runs out even when i left it unused for example when i simply turn on the wifi and no apps running (anything but the default or background apps) it may secretly decrease 1 percent per minutes (dont know how many minutes exactly but its around 3 or even 5 minutes or more) but other then that the features such as big screen and camera are the only things good about this phone but still no better than xiaomi redmis which im recommending it the most than this for being slightly cheaper but offers more and importantly more durable battery life thats all

its just fine, just choose SD as default storage. it means it has encrypted your sd card. make sure to choose internal storage as default when you are planning to remove SD card or it will get corrupted

I'm using Y6II CAM-L23 version of this device and it seems to be doing everything faster and better than my last device so I like it. I also like the bigger and wider screen. The only issue I have with it is the sound quality from the speaker which is not that great and the loudness is not that credible as compared to my last device. But still a great device for those who rather a mid range gadget.

really wanted to like this device with its beautiful design and all of its impressive features and specs but one issue has kinda ruined the entire experience for me. I get terrible battery life specially on standby. Android System is what's eating up my juice and is often at 62% or so which I find very strange. Most Android smartphones I've used had Android System somewhere between 6% to 10% max. When I go to sleep with a 100% fully charged battery, I wake up with 65% or 70% left. That's with Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, mobile data and auto sync all turned off. I tried using the "smart" power saving mode but to no avail.and it get overheat on a average usage too plz guy's help me

I am from Mumbai and i have been using it for 3 weeks now. Here are the pros and cons: Cons: 1. Terribly low outut speaker when watching a video or listening to a song. The volume while talking on the phone is loud and clear and so is the ringtone.. it rings too loud but wonder why media played on this phone isn't loud. I reckon this is a software issue and honor should fix it. But for regular calling sound is very loud on calls. U can hear the other person loud and clear 2. Horrible rear camera.. images r blurr n lack vibrant colors. Lifeless images 3. 1.1.2gb ram available by default UI takes 800 mb ram. Its fast.. 2. good grip.. body and design is good 3. I love this. It'sY6II in my country. The only problems I have with this: - the speaker is not loud enough. Specially on video calls. Sometimes I have to stick my ear near the speaker at the bottom or just use the earphones to hear the one I'm video calling with. - the earphones that comes with the package sucks. Not loud enough, and external noise is not suppressed. They should have given earplugs instead. - Front camera during video calls default to 'Beauty'. It makes my face look nice because it 'blurs' the blemishes but it's so misleading, I hate it.

It's called a y6 ii I bought it it's good software is excellent your not missing out on anything Huawei has to offer the camera is good coming from a j1 ace from Samsung battery is excellent I play walking war for 5 hours 30 min in a single charge mind you I'm using data charging times are descent heavy gaming is excellent screen is amazing and packs allot of sensors about 6 LTE speeds great on 3 G I managed 22 Mbps so imagine 4 G um storage is 10 GB out of 16 GB it hasn't changed at all trust me and very little bloatware it's great you get manual mode and you can do long exposure shots if you like it's better than a J 7 I can say so yeah consider it

It's Y6II, probably for another market. Anyway, the Y6II seems to be missing from the list here, so i'll share some impressions from the Y6II here. 2 sim slots and an SD slot - very important and rare, which is why i bought it. Wish it had a removable battery too, but at least it's cheap for what it offers. Interface is a bit laggy. Also lacks "tap to wake" feature. Display is bright, no troublest outdoor, but it's a fingerprint magnet and not full hd, so picture is not very good. Back panel is nice, good quality plastic that doesn't get fingerprints or scratches easilly. GPS is perfect - you can easilly get signal strenght 50 for more than one satellite. Battery is very good compared to the other phones with the same battery and screen size. The phone doesn't heat much even whith more load. Camera is crappy (Main camera, the selfie shooter is perfect with its 8mpx), especially in low light environment. Call quality - it's loud, but some of the calls sometimes sound too loud, bassy and distorted - no idea if it's my carrier to blame or the phone. The other side hears me just perfect. Sound is kinda crappy, Not very good quality (It get easilly distorted/clipping) and not very loud, both from speaker and from headphones. Ringtones are fine - at least they are loud enough.

price is high good features but fingerprint sensor missing so its good to go for redmi 3s,they never learn from competitors but they release phones which are a competitor to their own phones so naturally you fail huawei,lets see what you have in 6x,till then goodbye
