HTC One Remix - User Reviews

  • I have narrowed down to two phones. Moto G or HTC One Remix. Please tell me the cons you have faced while using HTC One Remix. I need the practical review. Thanks in advance.

  • I'm having the exact same issues now. 88% charged and it goes dead.....SO ANNOYING!!

  • Had this phone for 2 years now and its sucks the battery life is horrible and skips percentage gets hot real easy and goes dead whenever it feels like it

  • So I had this phone for two years. And it wasn't the best ever. I'm about to upgrade to the 10. So i recommend not buying this. Its not great or has anything outstanding.

  • Please avoid the HTC Remix. My Verizon model has been awful. Terrible phone quality and reception. Two hardware failures and a screen that separated in less than two years. Poor battery management causes short life and high heat. Gets so hot you have to pull away from your ear allowing the speaker button to activate blowing you eardrums with one of its few good points, the speaker quality. Screen brightness parameters are very poor. Do not buy.

  • I have had this phone for a year and a half and it's a mess. Fully charged at 9 am, battery down to 7% by 2:30 pm. I don't go anywhere without a charger. Camera is lousy. Response time after hitting the home button is slow. Apps open slowly. I don't have a lot on it, so there is a lot of free memory, so this just should not be happening. Very disappointed.

  • HTC One remix for over 1 year now. Camera is extremely poor quality. Husband's phone is Galaxy Note 4 and the quality of its photos blow my phone's camera quality out of the water. Lacks finesse in pretty much every application. Example really poor backlighting sensor. When using GPS it darkens to lower than the darkest manual backlight setting. When you're driving this is an issue. If you try and hold the phone away from your face to use internet while in a call, it darkens the phone if you hit the power button to make it back up it flickers on and the back off you have to hit the screen in the half a second that it lights up in order to catch it and then it will still continue to darken and light and back and forth It's a real pain in the butt. The thing that is the most upsetting is microphone quality every phone call I make everyone complains how impossible it is to hear with speakerphone off with speakerphone on turning the phone to this I turned it backwards your mouth right near the microphone or far away it's just really poor quality. The one thing this phone has going for it is it has fantastic speakers. The headphone jack is 50-50 if it will stay plugged in sounds flickers in and out with headphones. Those external speakers they really are fantastic sound. It's pretty clunky with internet usage and using most apps most apps have a failure at some point during their usage and they just shut off and you have to reopen them. The phone's pretty darn durable my kid has thrown it on the floor more times than I could count. Overall actually completely hate this phone. The more I've used it the more problems that I found

  • I've had my remix for a few months now wifi bars go down even when sitting near the box and i dropped it once and the clips now dont clip back in it stops vibrating or playing any ringtones from time to time. NOT very durable at all have had speaker issues never headphone issues but it does lag a lot from time to time which is really annoying I would NOT recommend this phone

  • First one lasted from Christmass till February - returned and exchanged for hardware problems. The second one (exchange) lasted till august - no more camera app and I suspect it's a hardware issue as well, did all the trick with rebooting/clearing cache/repartitioning cache partition and so on to no avail. Overall not impressed- for the future will stick with the pro's (Motorolla, Samsung, LG). Would not recommend this phone.

  • Does NOT play all .flac files.

  • No problem with the speakers or headphones but the phone drains the battery very fast. I used to get warnings at 2% before it drained. Then it drained at the 9% point. Then 15, then in the 20s, 30's. 50's. Verizon suggested I delete some apps. I did that. But same thing. Not holding a charge. Fortunately, I'm still under warranty. I'm expecting a new phone in the best day or two.

  • I've had this phone for approximately 2 months and now there is little to no sound when I use headphones. I was under the impression that this was a brilliant music and video browsing device but this isn't the case. It has good videos but if I'm in public I can't listen to any music. Other than this I believe that the battery life can be improved. Thank you for making a decent phone but slight improvements are required

  • I've had this phone for less than six months. The design is good. But it keeps not working. First it stopped vibrating. Then the music went flat when played. No bass or treble with headphones or when hooked through the speakers. Now it's not vibrating /again/ they have replaced the phone twice now and it's broke again. I've never dropped it or spilled anything on it. I'm very dissapointed in HTC. Never had any issues with my incredible or my HTC DNA. The remix is junk.

  • OMG

  • I own an LG G3 and am comparing the specs to that. The remix comes with 1.5gb ram and 16gb onboard storage. The G3 has 3gb standard, and mine came with 32gb storage. The remix standard battery stores 2100maH, G3 is 3000mah. Also, the G3 battery is replacable, the remix is not.

  • Purchased the phone Dec 2014 and returning it because of the following: 1) I am unable to talk holding phone with my shoulder because whoever I am talking to complains she/he cannot hear me and understand what I am saying. 2) When using the speaker option, the person on the line has complained it is hard to hear me because I sound muffled. 3) Short battery life

  • bad battery life. charging it twice a day. used 1 app for an hour drops to like 60%

  • someone pleas tell me about the battery?????????????

  • Can anyone (Users of one remix) tell me about the performance of one remix? I mean sound quality, Camera, net browsing etc.

  • Htc M7...us far more better than remix

  • in the last 17 years of using mobile phones, i have never changed a single battery at any bloody mobile phone, because i owned only brand new mobiles or used a few months by friends, about 6-12 month. i see cheap mobiles with 8 years old original battery still working perfect

  • Is their any disadvntgs wth non removable battery...,

  • just one m7

  • Which is better, HTC One Remix or HTC One M7?

  • i'm pretty sure the remix is the mini 2, just verizon's (or the US's) name.

  • Which phone is better?? HTC one Remix or One Mini 2???????????

  • Which phone is better??? HTC one mini 2 or One Remix................

  • I was a bit sceptical about aquiring this model phone. Upon arrival and unboxing it, it looked very distinguished and presentable. I thought it was one of those looks better than acts better phones. I have been using it for a week now and this phone is simply amazing. Why it is not a top tier phone just blows my mind. A buddy of mine has the Samsung Galaxy S5 and my One Remix can out perform his S5. I was a Motorola fan since the OG Droid. I did have the HTC Droid Eris as my very first Droid but soon got the Moto Droid. HTC Sense is simply........well...simple, quick, and to the point. I would reccommend this phone to anyone, period.

  • Hi this phone available for India any one suggests me

  • HTC is better thann samsung...i like HTC....very good phone

  • this is a fine phone

  • HTC is better thann samsung...i like HTC....very good phone

  • yes this phone is beautiful and good in the hand.

  • i like this phone...........

  • This phone doesn't worth even $1oo got one and not happy

  • Before you mislead too many people, compare the Remix with the Mini 2 side-by-side. The Remix has more RAM, slightly smaller battery, different LTE network band compatibility, etc.. It's definitely not just rebranded for Verizon as you say.

  • You guys do realize that the HTC Remix is the HTC One Mini 2 right?? It just had a different release date and a different name specifically for Verizon.

  • That'd realy hot & smarter

  • Is this a joke or what! Now they give us a good camera but put a crap of size display 720x1280. That's stupid the dna came out 2 years ago and had better specs than this one remix. Good way to do it HTC hope u sell a lot of this crap definitely going to samsung or some other brand of phones. Had HTCs for long time and update phone every time a new one come out but now instead of upgrading to a better phone will be "upgrading downgrade". Thanks htc for the great job you did in the past. DNA was the best phone u have had.

  • Xiaomi MI3 is superb option compared to Htc remix..... Only where Xiaomi lacks is Brand name... if ppl start buying their product then it would too become a brand..

  • the H7 had 1080x1920, this does not!

  • This is simliar to the HTC one m8 mini and that was very overpriced because it had the exact same specs as the one m7 mini and it costs £100 more than when the m7 mini was launched. This will overpriced too i think. Probably around £300

  • The processor is crapy, vodafone smart tab 3 10.1 has almost the same processor.

  • Are you use this phone? This phone is released last week of July'14, in this short time you evaluate this device? I have use HTC device long time. It seems to me HTC can be compare only with iphone, no other brand.

  • What about the price ? U guys always lost the game in pricing ! Pleas price this device reasonably :-)

  • Lol..xD

  • this phone has same size as Galaxy S4, has weaker cpu, smaller and worse display, worse camera, shorter battery life and higher price... if one buys this one then he must have really big fetish on aluminium things

  • Oh, I'm sorry. Forgot about the aluminum can feature.

  • HTC doesn't respect its flagship owners. You can be sure that no flagship feature is exclusive, except the price. Just mass produce it with lower end specs and remix the names. Here: HTC 1/2 plus

  • Yes it's sad that HTC going nuts over time.. HtC one remix? I thought CPU should be SD 600 not 400. And they decrease the already low battery life????? Unbelievable.....

  • Poor battery life and poor resolution display

  • Its the HTC One E8 for verzion only haha

  • Is it dual sim card slot---

  • i want to purchase this phone where i will get

  • best phone.

  • Nice phone with great design
