Huawei Impulse 4G - User Reviews

  • Screen resolution is actually very crisp. Wifi and camera are good. Would recomend.

  • let me see so far the phone recycles, sticks, blackscreen, facebook stop working, and a hold lot of other problem with this phone, good thing i got it as a gift and not bought it

  • just wondering where and how do i get the gingerbread program and how do i do it

  • It is the worst phone I have ever owned. I would prefer motto have a smartphone at all over this phone. Good thing it was cheap.

  • seriously whats written in above comment is true this is the worst smartphone i have come across it only looks good

  • WORST phone I have ever had to deal with. This was my 1st smartphone. I thought I was doing something wrong. Turns out it was the phone. Facebook would NOT work with WIFI on. Had to turn WIFI off for FB and back on to get on the net, to conserve data plan. V Hands on verified by Co service tech. App issues; FB and Gasbuddy and Navigation and a cpl other apps would lock up and shutdown. The phone itself would "Power Cycle" itself off then back on. FINALLY got them to warranty replace. Within a cpl days, it too was having app issues, and on day 4 it started "Power cycling". REPLACED AGAIN, GPS didn't work. Cpl days, app issues. Day 5 "Power cycling". REPLACED AGAIN, Day 3 app issues, day 4 "Power cycling". Wanted me to drive 2hr round trip to "hands on exchange". Asked what I needed to do to cancel service, they sent me a new FREE Samsung I577.

  • well im getibg this phone on friday and i hope it works good can u get all the normal games on it still with 2.2 well actually mine is going to have 2.3.5 so can i still get games?

  • Built in FM receiver as long as you unlock this!! ;)

  • a lock apeared it came by its self and icant get rid of it

  • My first android and I love it, not expensive, 4g downloads fast, love the screen and the camera, the processor is not so fast but it's ok if you use it for browsing and watching smosh on youtube

  • To the remark from kenja, there is absolutely nothing " cheap " about the Huawei. Impulse 4G, it is a fantastic phone, lots of great apps in the 2.2 Android market the ATT playstore has so much to offer like Go SMS Pro, I love the cool themes. I think everyone can have their own preference without bashing a cool phone like the impulse 4G by referring to it as " cheap " Happy ATT 4G user/owner

  • I just got this phone cuz I like having multiple phones and I absolutely LOVE it! It's quick, simple, utilitarian and unique. Great product for a Chinese-made and design. Highly recommend :)

  • bb is good one but as impulse have android and high graphics so u can download hd apps and games as android world is best for web

  • well its ok

  • Same shell, mostly same features, but offers different network bands. In NZ, this will work on the XT network, whereas the X5 - which doesn't have 3G 850 band - will not.

  • Hey Everyone, could use your help. Trying to decide between my BB Torch 9810 and The Impulse. The 9810 has a bigger proccessor (1.2 Ghz) but is heavier and BB App World sucks. I mostly surf the web and make calls. How is The Impulse at doing that? Also, does The Impulse have the capability of manually switching off 4G and dropping to 2G like The Torch does? Have a decision to make. Thanks in advance for help.

  • Some of you people are just crybabies......the impulse 4g can be upgraded to Gingerbread...Duh And just so you know, Unlike other phone Mfg, like LG, for one, Huawei has NOT overburdened this Android OS with excessive Bloat.....this phone actually runs very well for only having a 800 MHz Processor. Maybe some of you should actually try this Phone before giving your Un-informed Opinions :)

  • its as same as huawei u 8800 x5

  • Huawei Impulse is a cheap android phone that is intended for those who can't afford other android phones in the market.

  • rebadged x5?

  • Think a little on what you just said! It makes no sense at all! Anyway...

  • new model w/ old android OS.? huhh! go for the better than this.! looks great but specs not.

  • who wants a phone with 2.2 android froyo when there is better out in the market :P
