Lenovo P90 - User Reviews

  • Lenovo P90

  • no custom rom for the zenphone too ? Then no regrets.

  • as far as i know .. there is a lack custom ROM for intel processor .. just like Zenfone Series .. no Custom ROM until Now ....

  • We got the same problem. It just went dead with no warning, but the led still light up when it's charged

  • I bought a lenovo P90 last year but now l can't open it. Charging system is OK but still it can't open. Is the battery damage or any other fault.

  • How can I remove or the lenovo P90 battery.

  • Yeah

  • has the lenovo k80m? How did the upgrade thanks

  • How we apdate this phone?

  • I have this mobile, but specification is different. 4GB RAM Internal storage 64Gb EU Distribution

  • do u have the imei?

  • Does Anyone know how to root this phone?

  • You can disable most of the bloat, using the debloater from XDA. And with all the available space, it doesn't matter too much if it's not completely removed. I would have liked to play with the latest android version, but never mind.

  • Just a bug fix update for camera performance Night mode can take pictures without flash with better quality than flash

  • now there is Android 7, this is the first and last time I buy Lenovo phones. Just overpriced good looking and bad software China products. So if you want some high-end specs > low-end bloatware go for it.

  • lenovo ditched this phone? lol what a waste, it has good spec, camera with ois

  • Is updated this smartphone?... Pls send me an answer!

  • Not at all. The system use big RAM capacity. I just download some app, but it use my RAM more 80%

  • My phone high temp went i use waze. I put in windscreen. After that, it write, "your phone is too high tempresure, it will shot down"

  • Between P90 and Z90 which want is better?

  • my phone has updated and update is about 25mb and version is P90_S149_160504_ROW google this

  • No update is available, I just tried the Lenovo Smart Assistant. Don't mislead other people.

  • 90 la

  • please help me...Wich phone is better: Lenovo P70 or P90&&&

  • New update is awesome , you can open as many application as u want to phone never get slow down

  • Hi.. Can u teach how to root p90

  • lenovo is not fair at all, they were supposed to make a software update, when I bought the phone there was a update plan ,now it is full of bugs and crashes. shame on lenovo, they dont care about their product and customers,my second and last lenovo phone.

  • Been trying to look for a custom rom before buying this....but to no avail. Most that i found will make you go through a survey to download it. Another weird thing is that there aren't even any custom rom on needrom? Need answers why this phone didn't have custom rom as p70...

  • The latest version is android kitkat.. Lenovo not going to update this phone anymore they focus on vibe phone. Now I'm using vibe x, is a good phone the downside is battery only 2000mah and the kit kat version handle quite well.

  • This phone is supposed to be great, if you manage to update the android version.

  • For those who using now. How was it? Because I consider buying this phone. It's old and price drop at my country. And also there's no more update on this phone, they only focus on vibe phone.

  • No

  • Does it has sd card slot?

  • of course p90 beacause lenovo p90 have 2mb L2 cache memory however the other 1 only 1mb higher cache memory the lower lagging in performance additionally in samsung note series compare samsung Note 4 and Note 3 Note 4 have 2mb cache memory an Note 3 only 1MB the power consume of note 3 are higher due to higher clock and bigger in lithography 28nm vs 20nm and this lenovo using 22nm mean it's quite good in battery saving

  • lenovo p90 vs lenovo a7000 plus..which is better??anyone..tq

  • Awful phone... It has too many bugs and still no Android update! C'mon there is an android 6 coming out, and we're still with 4.4 :O

  • P90 is better. ........

  • Lenovo P90 is no more listed in Lenovo website for android update. Anyone know if this is real?

  • Unfortunately lennovo doesn't provide an update for this model of phone. There's an update utility in lennovo website, but each time I tried it , no update was available.

  • hey do you receive the update yet?

  • I recently repaired the SIM tray of my phone. Not only it works fine as a phone, but the wifi works better than before (now, I can have internet while staying far from the wifi he rooter) . I don't know what the guy that repaired my smartphone has done, but I'm pretty happy with my smartphone. I suppose there was a problem with the mounting of my smartphone (underpaid Chinese workers, that don't have time to do thing properly).

  • Lenovo p70 or lenovo p90?which better?

  • Thank you, that would be awesome.!

  • hey buddy i have lenovo p90 and i have been able to root write on pvt i will give you site where you can root you phone and i will send you picture to see that i have root my phone

  • I have been looking for a custom ROM for months, but they still haven't been able to root the phone. The chip set is new and few phones use it. If you do find anything please post it.!

  • Hey Guys, can you please recommend any of custom rom available on lenovo P90? The original OS consume too many RAM and still its laggy. :(

  • This may be issue of whatsapp , If you have take whatsapp's apk from other phone via share it or xender . Uninstall it and download it at from your playstore only.

  • Lenovo.....update my P90 to lollipop pls....new released phone without update until now?hey lenovo..r u kidding?listen to me...your faithful fan!!!

  • very back...difficute to open with contack list..take it long time to open the contack list...

  • I bought this mobile 7months ago and it is still great! the camera, processor, battery, everything is great! I prefer this phone over i6+

  • I just noticed that Lenovo no longer shows the P90 as getting android lollipop upgrade anymore, on their upgrade matrix.?

  • I bought this phone 3 months ago, ant I'm quite satisfied with it. The battery is long-live (the phone can go almost one and a half day without charging); The camera's good and sharp; The processor is also fast, although it makes the phone quite warm if you use it for quite some time. My biggest gripe about this phone is that it's STILL using Kit-Kat/ver. 4 as the OS, while other phones already got Lollipop/ver. 5 or even Marshmellow/ver. 6! What a waste!

  • I bought it two months ago.Battery doesnt last too much, available ram not enough, screen so so.The camera was good!

  • best specifications this phones & battery life very powerful camera quality is good

  • just use it a week ,,,never fall and press..the screen from a tiny line become full screen black up!!! waste money.. screen quality is suck!

  • hi, do u really charge it 2.5-3 days.. because im using it max 1 day and need to charge it every day...please respond A.S.A.P

  • Wow, thanks for the link to the debloater app, help improved my P90 performance a bit :)

  • Wow, thanks for the link to the debloater app, help improved my P90 performance a bit :)

  • Just got this phone. The battery life is long, but its not long as I expected it to be. I manage to get around 12~ hours(on average) of battery life(Wifi on, brightness 40%, mobile data on). Playing games(mix of light and intense games) got me around 5-6 hours(constant gaming with few breaks in between). Overall the device is pretty snappy, smooth performance, but the back can get relatively hot when playing games. However its worth the price you paying.

  • I am a high end Samsung user all this while until Lenovo came out with P90 and A7000 Plus which I can't resist to buy due to good spec and fair price. I am happy with these phone as they work well as I expected. I can use the extra money to buy new phone every year.

  • dear, all frined, about lenovo p90/lenovo a7000..i want this 2phone is best or bad...lenovo p90/lanovo a7000..pless compare and told all details ...lenovo a7000/.prise how much this phone..please told me any person...

  • Already damaged the SIM card reader. I tried to adjust it because the SIM was from time to time not detected, and now it doesn't work at all :-( . I probably damaged the pins, because I've put the SIM tray in the wrong direction (but why there's nothing that prevents this ?) , and it was hard to remove. Now I've barely have a small tablet, with a not so good wifi support :-(

  • What is good p90 fone?

  • hi Trep, I might be stating the obvious, but you must press the apply button after checking the apps you want to disable. Here is the list of apps disabled on my smartphone, and good luck: Appstat Baidubrowser Calenderprovider cleanmaster com.alipay.mobile.scanx-1 com.lenovo.magicplus-1 dbs FINDIT GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter GoogleEars GooglePartnerSetup IdeaWallpaper LenovoCalendar LenovoCompass LenovoExchange LenovoGallery LenovoMusic LenovoSafeCenter_PRC LenovoThemeCenter LenovoVideoPlayer LenovoWeatherApp LenovoWeatherAppThemeDreamLand LenovoWeatherAppThemePlus LenovoWeatherService LenovoWeatherTheme LenovoWeatherWallpaper MediaUploader Mirage mnews Ncit new NoiseField PerdueMenu PhotoTable PocketAndWeaken PrintSpooler Pulse RunIn share shareit talkback UCBrowser Vlife_lenovo WideTouch YouTubeVideoDownloader

  • I was able to read the phone, it shows all the apps, it just does not disable them when I check mark them.

  • hi Trep, I suggest you install first the "15 seconds ADB Installer" (available on xda), and ensure that USB debugging is enabled on your device. Anyways, at first, I've been trying to follow instructions at the thread "Intel Android Devices Root" fom xda , before I switched to the Debloater solution. I didn't manage to root, but the debloater worked fine.

  • Did not work on my P90.

  • I will definitely try it, looks awesome. Thanks

  • Use the debloater app at xda, to easily disable all unwanted apps (even without root). I managed to disable the "antivirus", I didn't want.

  • I finally received my P90. Fisrt of all, I love the size and feel, it is a fast phone, there is an issue with the WIFI range, I lose my signal as soon as i step out of my house, but it works fine when I'm in range on both 2G and 5G. The best part so far is the network signal is amazing, I never get a signal in my office at work, and I have had several phone of various manufacturers and this one is by far the best. I am still waiting on a way to root it though, I hate all the bloatware it comes with. I have a Lenovo A916 that I just love and had the same issue when I bought it but after rooting and deleting all the garbage apps it runs much better. Over all so far I love this phone for the price.!!!

  • Hi, i use this phone quite a lot (reading books, playing music, calls, web etc etc) and I charge it every 2.5-3 days

  • i have a quick question...does this phone support the AWS bands 1700/2100? the service provider i use stated the following - 'The WIND Mobile network uses a frequency called AWS, with bands 1700/2100 MHz.' if it does work, i think this would be a solid purchase.

  • antutu benchmark points 38000 !!! extra phone ! body is very very good quality, (not like samsung plastik body)this is my second lenovo phone (firs was lenovo a889) next `ll be a vibe z2 pro.

  • I've had no problems what so ever with WiFi at all. I do agree though Lenovo should hurry up and provide upgrade to lollipop ASAP...to keep up with the likes of Asus which comes installed in their Zenfone 2

  • Anyone can tell something about battery life

  • very fast phone

  • wifi range is not great , at least with "802.11g". My sister with a samsung j5, can receive wifi in a room far from wifi router, while I can't. Crapware pre-installed, especially a kind of antivrus, that check suff you run and says "there's no problem". A default launcher that need to be replaced asap. Compass doesn't seem to work. I hope a custom rom would be available.

  • I download a few apps only and ram is low already . Bad quality camera for quality and when getting lolipop ? I think stable wih lolipop

  • What's wrong with the WiFi?

  • Powerful battery, logic price, the problem is the wifi

  • Right products, Right Price.

  • Lenovo p90 is superb,,,,,,,,,

  • I agree. So far the main problem with this phone only not stable WiFi connection and no response from Lenovo about this

  • baterry may be not badd

  • what about battery

  • very disapointed phone, flagship phone on wmc, have a bug on wifi :( (weak and slow wifi)) lenovo dont fix it, so many testimoni in youtube about wifi problem, but lenovo dont give software update till now,, i dont know why lenovo like this, kill own brand with something like this

  • So far a great phone. Battery life is excellent but takes a while to charge (about 3 hours) but when charged battery holds it well. No heating problems at all and very responsive to commands and connection to net. The only criticism I have is it has 32GB memory.....but the system takes a whopping 8GB out the box !!

  • Anyone received update? Today i got notified you can update now to latest version but then i checked into system update it shows this is the latest version

  • Lenova is very very best cell for for avery one.

  • failed phone ever, lenovo is suck now, not upgrade this os about 7 month, suck os, failed flagship phone, bad sound, bad signal, i lenovo lover it so disaponted ever, never face fail phone like this, lenovo not give service for this, keep sell this and no os update, i prever xiaomi now, asus bad on battery, xiaomi is the best

  • yes i have same experience...sounds quality is worst...

  • i want to buy this phone but i'm confusing to the comments..can you give an idea which model the best???

  • Real Racing 3 crashes, camera can't focus in warm weather, phone gets quite hot some times, poor WiFi and 3G performance, no software updates, lots of useless Lenovo add softwate... Generally I like Lenovo products but this one is a big disappointment!

  • In cpu-z app my battery capacity shows only 1704mah

  • Yeah in lollipop we can take advae of 64 bit processor Kiktal is running on 32 bit

  • The phone its great, the only problem its desinged for lollipop but until now stil kitkat which is many feature not use yet, thats why battery looks like not 4000mah, my lg g flex 3500mah but takes longer to drain, double tap on off not yet, must lollipop to know the reality of this phone

  • guys who use use this phoen, what is the antutu benchmark of this phone? and more importantly how's the battery backup?

  • Everything is perfect, except card slot, i was about to buy in a store but cancel it eventhough i already knew it has no card slot

  • I love Lenovo, they have the best batteries capasity

  • Lenovo P90 use intel atom CPU, What about the heat. whether too hot or normal. My friend use Zenfone 5 & the heat is too hot & wasteful batteries

  • Hehehe, i dont have problem to use lenovo coz the feature are good, but i use it as a side phone i use to use lg g flex and lg g3 i never get any problem since i started to use LG 5 years ago,,,lenovo as well good but they must update p90 to lollipop,, i have vibe x2 its wonderful since 1 week ago no heat issue,,camera very good, battery not drope any more,,,new amazing feature, but the only wallpaper stop scroling after update

  • Maybe the problem is not the Lenovo's phones, It's you. You got already your 6th worse Lenovo's phone, and yet, you bought the 7th worse Lenovo's phone(as you mentioned). Try another brands.

  • They should repair the phone free of cost. Did they do it.

  • i have a problem with camera it"s too close the zoom is too high i know how to minimize the zoom but it"s too close anyway ...... pls help

  • Sound quality is worst a small noice will be out from speaker when listening to songs that makes speaker bad

  • quality is fair. made from doff plastic...

  • camera is good, no problem. sound quality is fair. Full HD Screen, huge battery capacity.

  • the body is made from plastic, but not glossy,so it looks like metal.

  • Would someone tell me what is the body of the phone-metal or plastic? And what is the quality of the sound?Thank you in advance!

  • New update available

  • Am waiting for the dual sim variant..i hope lenovo will look into that

  • Are there any problems with the camera(there are owners of Vibe z2 Pro, who tell about dust in the camera),3G(p70 by instance, has problems in Bulgaria)?

  • What kind a material is used for the back of p90?Metal or plastic?Thank you.

  • P70 : if u need dual sim card, but quality screen is fair. P90 : if u don't need dual sim card, and need quality screen resolution.

  • how is battery life of this phone? i cant use one whole day and i have uninstalled facebook but nothing can make change i previously used lenovo p780 and its battery life is amazing and anyone knows how to avtivate bubble lockscreen??

  • u can use Lenovo P90 and P70 as PowerBank for other smart phone.. soo this phone usefull for me...

  • Lenovo P90 Or P70 Which Is Best? The Processor Octa Core Or Intel Which Is Best In Performance?

  • My phone keep vibrating when charging, dont know what's wrong. 😐

  • i got notification to update software, i think ready for lolipop. Will update after i update software.

  • Yes sure you can use and you won't beleive the amazing speed in 3g and 4g as i was previously using galaxy s5 so its much more better than samsung s5 in tethering. try yourself and you will get unbeleivable results

  • uninstall Facebook, use older version (29.1...)

  • please lenovo.. kmake this phnoe update to lolipop imediatly.. pleaseee... kitkat so yesterday and laggy..

  • I bought this phone on 26th april and battery was horrible. 22.oo hour, 100%, i slept, i waked up on 06.00 hour and battery - 18%. I went to NAY (shop in Kosice Slovakia), I told them about problem, they gave me new phone and nothing problems.

  • same problem drains battery... lenovo quick update and fix this issue if not will gone

  • Hot! Battery suck. I think i got failed product

  • can i use this phone for tathering Mobile hotspot?i need cheap smartphone for my iPad Wifi mobile hotspot, please answer, thank you :)

  • It runs in intel atom z3560, pretty awesome I guess. 4000mah battery is important for a 5.5 inch phone like this and its pretty good to me :)

  • Update, To improve the Sound Quality, based on my experiencees you can using the PowerAmp (not commercial purpose).

  • try to uninstall your FB.. this phone to many bugs on OS.. hope get update soon as posible,,

  • i really interested with this phone, can someone review the heat of this phone? because i hate overheating phone. warm is still acceptable

  • i use this phone for 6 days. 100% charged at 06.00, 15% at 23.00 with still use FB from default, WA, BBM with 5 groups, Path, 2 account emails active, 2 games active, Waze & GPS for 40 minutes . So i don't need powerbank now. Camera & Wifi: standard, sound quality too. over all OK

  • When P90 was released and when it will come to India ?

  • For FB app issue, here is the workaround that I did it 1. Uninstall the original FB app 2. Search Google, find the old version of FB app APK. On mine, I use FB app APK with version v29.0.0.23.13 3. Copy the APK file to your internal storage and install it from file manager So far no issue I found with this workaround, no force close or crash, and battery drain is good

  • review update: after a dozen of factory reset, found that the issue is facebook version. FB factory version is 13, while google play is 31. if you use facebook and update it, FB will hung along with other apps using FB as its login. consume memory and processor (generate extreme heat) . no other option than use factory reset. if you use factory reset, FB v.13 will appear again. just remember to use backup for this version and NEVER update using google play (at least with v.31). also remember to disable auto update for FB. other apps is okay. if FB accidentally updated then you can restore it from backup. result: i played Modern combat or world of tanks blitz for 1 hour with 12% drain rate at 40-45 fps. if use normal such as browsing, streaming (with some rest of course) but no heavy 3D game involved, it can last for 12-18 hours. not tested for chats only, but if unused drain rate seems almost flat. battery monitor estimate 3 days for max standby (but who will let their phone idle for 3 days anyway). antutu benchmark for factory version shows 44616 points (just little below oneplus one), but it drops as more services installed (cmiiaw).

  • I use my P90 for around 25 hours and the battery still remain 30% since last full charged, with moderate useage.. watch full HD movie for around 2 hours, chat via Whatsapp, 2 email accounts active, browsing and open Facebook. So if your battery just only live for 8 hours, something wrong with your apps or the user not really smart :)

  • Yes i aggree. When i install facebook my battery drain so quickly. I hope lenovo quick to release software update to fix that problem.

  • to make sure what app to make ur battery drain, u can see on setting, power manager, then power consumtion detail.. i bet make ur baterry darin quicly is Facebook apps.. and try factory reset.. this phone so many bug on software,,,

  • Please try disable security from Apps. That's work to me. Now My Lenovo P90 Battery Drain has solved. I Hope that can help you.

  • Just used for 3 days, this is my second P90 phone, the first one had a soft key problem which is "Menu-Home-Back" is not responding after 3 hours of using, and ask replacement product with the dealer. Overall this phone are great, nice and sleek, but to big for pocket. In this comment I will review the PROS only: 1. Not work with Facebook apps, will drain your batteries as a beast. 2. Sound quality is Poor, also the FM Radio. 3. if equipped with NFC & Dual SIM card would be great. I will update later with batteries experiences.

  • Agree. I use lenovo p90. i disapointed with the battery. quicly hot.

  • this phone sucks badly, even with latest system update. commercials say this is phone with EPIC battery, they never say it drains battery so fast (20-30% in 1 hour with only whatsapp & facebook running!). Facebook app cant be combined with other apps which requesting login to FB, otherwise both apps will fail and the only way to restore it is FACTORY RESET! if FB not working, uninstall is the only way as it prevent CPU to sleep thus become battery leech. I watch the battery monitor app while charging, and it hardly get to 500mA, mostly 0mA. its ridiculous if the charger can only prevent it from drain but not charging up. as it offer no SD card, if you do factory reset then all apps (even if backed up to APK) will lost and must be downloaded again. the only trick is only if you use Lenovo desktop sync. overall: it has very good processor, RAM & camera. but the total lack of battery management means keep the phone near charger every time. oh well... maybe another factory reset (again) can fix it.

  • this phone is suck.. lack of bloatware and the important is, batery drain quickly.. facebook not working.. and my internet conection can be slowly,, i dont know, why this happen.. but im sure the problem is a firmware or software os for this phone is get a lot of bug.. please get update on lolipop and fix a many of bug for this phone..

  • very bad battery life, mine from 100% to 5% in just 8 hour at normal activities (browsing, chatting and phone call), lenovo must update software for this phone and focusing on battery management.

  • You guys should wait for P90. I used P70 for 2 days and sold it because the camera is really really bad.

  • p70 is a bad phone in terms of camera?is it?? everyone said so.

  • how do you want to rate on lenovo p70? is it true that the camera is not good?please respond.thank u

  • is the quality of camera for p70 good?? im buying p70 but have second thought since they complained about the camera..looking forward for the reply.

  • i owned a p780. love it. still excellent condition until now i bought a p70. fast processing phone. excellent display. shorter battery life compared to p780. p780 battery life is extremely long. but....i dropped my p70 and cracked 2 corner of the screen. now the touchscreen is not that responsive. am i going to get a p90? i think maybe not. because the batter life i believe expected to be shorter than p70. im considering to re-use my old trusty p780....or get a S860 (just that S860 has no memory card slot)

  • no, dual sim in p90 ?

  • Had bought Lenovo P-70.Found it very good phone. Handy, battery performance and etc.Personal view..advise to buy this phone rather than Asus Zenfone.

  • how about the battery if compare with P780 or other with capacity 4000 MaH, I have already Preorder this phone. But still waiting till April.

  • I had planned to buy P70, but after this phone was launched, I got another thought, change to this type. Any body has it's opinion? Thank in advance

  • Yes I have It & its great smarTPhone

  • is p90 up-gradable to lollipop?

  • if u need dual sim, extra slot card, just buy p70.. dont compare battery usage of p70 n p90 with p780.. be realistic.. better spec consume more battery. this phone worth to buy with it price.. but if u have more money just buy zenfone 2 with 4gb ram

  • is there anyone who already has a Lenovo P90, please review.

  • I will check at erafone, thanks Pak

  • Like what you said, CPU & GPU are totally different... really hard to judge their performance... In my opinion, MT6752 & Mali T760 are more powerful... but with Octa-core, it also tends to heat up more... so, its your choice to make...

  • it already available at erafone pak,

  • Hi... Thanks for the feedback. I dont need an advance camera in my phone. But, in terms of performance, which one is better? The Chipset, CPU, and GPU are completely different.

  • If camera is important to u, then go for P90 with optical image stabilization & dual tone flash. Otherwise, go for P70 with dual sim, micro sD & longer battery life.

  • Which one is better to buy Lenovo P90 or Lenovo P70?

  • I want to buy P90 when this phone available in Indonesia. Spec of this phone meet what I am looking for with SIM card.

  • i am int

  • i think single sim is much better than dual, at least here in europe, almost no one use dual sim phones. So personally I am waiting to have this phone, much better than samsung galaxy.

  • Do not compare this phone to asus zf2, but compare it with asus zf zoom with same specs but have an optical zoom capability + 3580 instead of 3560, though P90 lighter than zf zoom.

  • Do not compare this phone to asus zf2, but compare it with asus zf zoom with same specs + optical zoom capability + 3580 instead of 3560.

  • Same as ZENFONE 2 but pixelmaster camera is better

  • U r right...I have by waiting to check on it...

  • Power of atom z3560 is more than sd 805 and powerVR 6 series gpu will blow adreno 330 out of water. Sd801 won't even come close to it.

  • Lenovo made a mistake to give this phone a single SIM functionality thats why they hesitate to release it. No doubt Zenfone 2 will blow this thing away if they out it with single SIM.

  • Yes, they do

  • Business people younger than 70 years don't need a physical keyboard.

  • Pls,GsmArena, where is Lenovo P70,because this device has good performance too and 4000 MAh battery.Pls make a review or publish something of it!Thx

  • Large size phones does not mean You can put a Laptop processor inside it. Didn't expect this from lenovo. It would have been better if lenovo had put in a 14nm cherry trail atom(ic) inside its P90 with a better gpu. This would have been a better match for a phone pitted against iphone 6+. Athough a saving grace is 4k mAh battery.

  • Lenovo needs to put physical qwerty keyboard in their so called p series, as they are targeting businesspeople for their p series

  • Price will most probably be 240$ on launch. But much more expensive in India

  • No gorilla glass???? This phone shoulld be priced at $199 when its launched if Lenovo want to stay in the market

  • man chk Asus Zenfone Zoom ZX550 your complete

  • Quite interesting, I hope this phone will not ended like other Lenovo's intel based smartphone like K900 which is stucked on JB til forever.

  • i m waiting

  • i m waiting

  • this phone dual sim type?

  • I am waiting for Lenovo P90

  • If you calculate the width of P70's screen it's around 62.3mm & for P90's it's 68.5mm, so both have an extra width of 4.5mm on either side. But in the P70 a significant portion (about 1.5 to 2 mm) is used up in having curved sides/edges- exactly like an Xperia Z3. So the actual bezel is only about 2.5-3 mm, but since the P90 has flat sides, the bezel is more like 4mm+ Also, although both are bland looking phones (probably intentionally, since both are targeted at business users) the P90 is extremely so. There is no design accent on the P90 (like the chromed lining on the sides & top of P70 or its curved sides or its leather-like back) - it just looks like a flat slab of bland plastic... I know that this intel cpu will suck up power like no tomorrow because I have this very same cpu in my tablet (Lenovo S8. although it's a higher clocked version), i have checked the battery usage of different components in the 'battery' section and through different softwares too and have always found the biggest sucker of power to be the CPU- even in light tasks like non-heavy browsing and pdf-reading. In a tablet it's usually the screen which has the biggest percentage of battery consumption but this intel atom cpu (Moorefield) takes the cake everytime! Also, even though the CPU performance of this chip is roughly on par with a Snapdragon 800/801 running at 2.3 ghz the GPU performance is nowhere close. It's more like 60-75% of SD801!! Having 2/3rd the GPU performance to an almost 2 generation old chip (805 is 40% faster than 801, & 810 is 80% faster than 801) is absolutely uncompetitive in my opinion. And here I am not even talking about the third most important component of an SOC- the ISP which is atleast 2 times faster on 801 & above. Very important for a phone with a half-decent camera. This is Intel's flagship mobile SOC (along with Z3580) and yet the closest they come is only in CPU performance and that too at a much higher power level... All in all I believe that in heavy usage scenario P90 will give the backup of a similar device with only a 3000-3200mah battery- (ie. 75-80%) but with a SD800/801 instead of intel atom....

  • its look like nokia lumia 1520

  • why everyone complain about dual sim what funtion with dual sim? for me 1 sim more good

  • Now people complain about too big battery on here? Now I've seen it all (considering all phones with 3300 mAh or less batteries always get complaints of "bad battery life" from people who have no idea what the actual battery life of the phone will be).

  • Poor design, no dual SIM

  • No usb host and no dual-sim support are big weaknesse for P9000

  • No usb host and 1 gb ram only are big weaknesses for p9000

  • for 1GB Ram cheap .dont confuse.

  • Oh my gosh Asus Zenphone 2 will beat this thing in everything except display. And it will be available in US for $199 no contract!

  • True that Thomas! Lenovo designers and engineers are getting out of their minds these days..i think they are thinking backwards

  • This phone with those specifications, I will rather buy Mi4. Why 4000mHA battery?? Last longer daily? Everybody carries a slim power bank... Too many other options than this... unless it has a dual SIM.

  • No its not

  • Please someone told p90 is dual sim or not?

  • The bezels on Lenovo P70 looks even bigger compared to P90. Also, how can you be so sure that the intel cpu in P90 is so bad for battery life?

  • is this phone dual sim

  • dual sim?

  • Please post Lenovo S60 specs..

  • most people don't require the extension of an external memory space, 32 GB which will actually round off to around 26 -29 GB as internal available device storage is plenty. Facts are there check how many IPhone's have been sold world wide with only 16 GB memory storage, most of us gamers understand this is less capacity for storing more demanding games and etc, in that regard phone with internal 32 GB wouldbe plenty. ... But you have a point there, insearch for that one can always look at other current Lenovo Devices.

  • No external memory ???! !! Lenovo !!! - You must be kidding all customers !!!

  • While the flourishing smart phone, your phone model have only 32GB internal memory without expendable so please when producing it please keep for your own use or other people that need but not me.

  • nice specs and also the big battery....

  • It should be Lolipop not Kitkat.. why lenovo?

  • Not a worthy successor to P780. The new P70 (P70-A version) is much better. Even though that one has a slower octa-core mediatek cpu & just an HD screen this one has a power sucking Intel Atom and a big bulky design with big bezels & unattractive looks (looks like a Redmi note/Redmi 1S from the back) & no memory-card slot. The P70-A on the other hand has thin bezels with attractive business-like looks, is compact & handy (nobody asked for a 'phablet' wih 4000 mah battery- there are numerous models with 3500 to 4100 mah) we need a PHONE with 4000 mah. The bigger screen- full-hd resolution and above all the intel cpu will drain the battery much faster than P70-A so much so that it will give 75% or lesser endurance of the latter. The P70-A is a great smartphone...if only the camera was better....
