DO NOT BUY this thing. It's a piece of crap. The bluetooth never received what i wanted. Whenever i was moving i was never able to hear what the person on the other side is saying. Battery sucks...very bad choice. I tread it for a Nokia 1110i. ;-)

The phone's design is perfect, it fits very well in my hand. GPRS is a sham and bombs out when trying to load a page. Reception is not very good where the network signal is not optimal. The game(s) really suck. Also, a USB cable would probably help as my PC doesn't have any parallel ports!

My Bluetooth has never worked I think it is just a bad design. If you try to send a picture or music to someone there is no send via bluetooth option, I don't know why they bothered to put bluetooth on it as it is as much use as a chocolate fireguard in my opinion. Apart from that it is a nice phone.

I have a problem with my phone. Ever since i got it the internet and bluetooth doesnt work. I was told to phone Vodacom and they said every thing was correct on their side so it must be my phone. I have been on the phone to LG for hours trying to figure out whats wrong but they say that its Vodacom. My phone randomly switches off and for three days it didnt pick up any signal in the middle of a city. I dont know what to do any more and i am realy upset that my phone has done this. Do not, repeat do not, buy this phone. 1. The battery life is pathetic, the discharge rate is alarming. 2. There are serious issues with the bluetooth and cable data exchanges. 3. The alarms do not work properly. 4. The camera is sub-par. 5. You cannot use cd downloads as a ringtone. I am a Professor of Computer Science - this phone should never have been released. LG should be ashamed of this product and recall it or issue all people an updated phone that is at least functional.

this fone only looks good, but the most misleading feature of this fone is bluetooth..it can detect other fones with bluetooth but it cannot send/receive pictures,music to/from the other fones..if u want a fone with bluetooth, DONT BUY THIS

this was THE WORST phone that i have ever purchased! firstly what is the point in bluetooth if you can only send greetings (whatever they are!?)also its a bit of a cheek writing bluetooth on the front of the phone when it doesnt even work! secondly repetedly my phone broke for no apparant reason, thirdly the camera was rubbish, as was storage and fourthly must it always vibrate when turned on?theres just no way of stopping it!

Answer to April: To place a photo of your friend you have to shoot him (with the camera) at 48x48px. and you will see a new sign in the save picture menu. It's the "Save in phonebook". Click there and chouse to which adress you want to attach it. You can change the pic every time you wish with an other photo if it's saved in 48x48px. ... enjoy!

Help Please! I have selected the ringtone i want and activated the profile but the phone keeps ringing on this really annoying tone (Ring 1 i think). Oh please this model is one of the worse I have had to sell. The amount of these phones that have come back faulty is enormous. Biggest problem thet have is poor battery life. I do not recommend this phone to anyone. Do yourself a favour and stay clear. LG are hopless at making phones they should stick to DVD players ect. I have no problems with Bluetooth transfer on my F2400. Sending pictures or ringtones from my DELL Inspiron 6000 to phone goes perfect. Vice-versa also. I use Bluetooth transfer wizzard, which is part of Windows XP, and everything looks perfect. I think that LG F24oo is very good and cheap phone, for my little daughter more than perfect. It looks nice to. But, most important thing is that she is very happy with it.

An ok phone but a little fussy to add photographs. To recieve ringtones, I sent tones from my old mobile (SE 610)via MMS picture messaging. It worked fine.

my girlfriend has lost her sony-ericson z200, and replaced that with lg2400. it looked cute, but that is all good to say.. the f2400 is 2years younger,and apart from the camera,and the bigger screen knows nothing more than z200. The bluetooth writing on top is a LIE! Never gonna buy LG again! No more respect for LG!!! (my girlfriend has sold the brand new f2400, and bought a second hand z200..)

hey in the camera menu --- settings, you have to set the resolution of the picture at 48x48 (adress book resolution). after that you have to set the phone not to save the pictures automatically (menu 4-5-3 must be set to NO). after you make the picture you have to center the pictograme "adress book entry" and save there the picture. that's all.

I have been trying to set up my phonebook pictures since the day I bought the phone, I read the manual from front to back trying to find where it mentions how to do this and found it finally on this site, why do they not tell you in the manual. I have tried to sync my phone with a Bluetooth earpiece and still have to open the phone to answer calls�mmm not good.

Aesthetically I love this phone, however the lack of bluetooth functions has left me disappointed to say the least, also the phonebook pics are crumby too due to the low resolution used in this feature. I do feel this phone boasts of features that arn't actually available in the way we are led to believe, and the manual isn't all it should be either. Though I am happy with this phone in the sense of a phone only, I certainly wouldnt recommend it to anybody. There are far better supporting features in this price range in other phone makes. In the lg website this phone isnt even featured in the list of mobiles, perhaps, I fear because they are aware this phone is somewhat lacking in many areas. My advice would be dont buy it.

i just love this phone! its gourgeous looking and its sturdy! i love the design and the features it has. it's a great phone and its worth the money you spend on it! yes i agree if you want the phone wholly because of its bluetooth then id say look at other phones first but it has many other great features that people seem to ignore! and i think it was silly of those people who had it two days then took it back because they couldnt use the gprs or bluetooth! a phone is a phone use it as one! anyway i recomend to anyone whos looking at this phone to go out and buy it! its a great little phone and its worth the money! i love it :)

answering jessie's question. caller id with photo does work. when you take a photo choose the size 48x48, imediately after taking the photo scroll to your left to the green folder and select the name you want to assign the photo to. can someone please help me with the bluetooth, it keeps asking me for a pincode.

Its a very small and excellent designed phone, except for the poor feutures. The Camera is very nice on the phone, except if you copy the pics onto your pc, it is soooo smallll. The Alarm, what is the use you have option to save 5 alarm settings, but as soon as you set the alarm off, it deletes the entry, whats up with that? Also, i want more space for more Cell phone numbers or normal numbers under the same name, not just 1 space for each type of phone, not cool.

am not satisfied with my new LG F2400 as it is not possible to share pictures and sounds via Bluetooth as other Bluetooth mobiles can do, really speaking it has Blue tooth just for name. It is not possible to connect LG F2400 to PC via Bluetooth with the software provided. LG F2400 can only be connected to PC via serial COM1 (not USB, but why not?) cable which according to software is provided, but it was not in the box and Orange has confirmed it that cable is not included. I was able to connect LG F2400 to PC via Bluetooth (COM7), which was confirmed on LG F2400 and PC, but again the software provided is unable to detect it and has only one option of COM1 with the cable which is not provided. I think a software update is needed to improve phone sharing (pic & sound) and PC software which can give choice of COM ports for Bluetooth connection. All these are already there in other phones I have.

I love this phone! I just had them and thanks to YOU GUYS and all ya opinions... I cant stop looking at my new phn! One thing though, The SubLCD screen should contain screensavers or juz the clock so we dont need to open the clamshell juz to see the time.- but juz to look at the sub LCD. overall... Too bad there isnt radio, bluetooth or IRDA, if so..it wud be perfection!

you can not do video calls on this phone. That's called UMTS, but that option is only on a few phones, not included this one. If it had UMTS you can see that on the option for that phone.

I had one of these for about 48 hours before returning it to the Orange shop. It's a nice little phone, seems very well made but two big problems - 1 - Couldn't get it to act as a GPRS modem for my PDA via Bluetooth (I've done this with Nokia, Ericsson and Motorola phones) 2 - Very poor at getting and holding a signal in weak-signal areas. My nokia gets 2-4 bars in the office, this failed to get a signal at all. I've changed for a V545 which has similar features, is slightly bigger - but works!

The Bluetooth is not compatible with other phones and when you have copied all your phone numbers from the simcard to the phone memory it shows double copies in you phonebook, even if you selected that you only want to view the numbers in the phone memory. The manual isn't very helpful. If I could choose "0" at features and preformance I would have done it. This is not a user friendly phone. I wouldn't recomend it to anyone.
