Meizu M5 Note - User Reviews

  • It's camera and battery is nice while, but it is hot when charging and it's data connection and network is very poor

  • The LTE Freq of Meizu M5 Note: FDD LTE: 800, 850, 900, 1800, 2100, 2600 Mhz TDD LTE: 2300, 2600 Mhz

  • This phone is best, awsome battery, screen, sound...

  • just love this phone 32gb storage so run to sims and never run out only thing is second sims runs on a network that only vodaphone has left as everyone else has switched it off

  • its not lower than 2 megapixel

  • I just bought this phone 3 GB of ram and 32 GB of internal storage, and already use it for a week. This is a great phone, for multitasking, social media, video player it runs really smooth, for gaming experience, i think its enough. Because the MediaTek helio p10 is NOT for gaming. And the look of this gadget is very beautiful and look so premium. The camera sector is okay nothing wrong with it. Overall i like it a lot

  • its great phone in this prise range, phone battery life is great ,camera is ok and others things good

  • camera's lower then 2mp over all good phone

  • how can I activite viber account in this phone

  • 1. I don't think so 2. Yes of course, for casual use 3. No light, but it's very fast and very precise!

  • In my case, not quite. Because this phone have a large battery and fast charging, you won't feel it.

  • I just purchased my Meizu M5 note and it was fabulous! I bought the version with 4gb and 32 gb and I am contend. True the camera was a bit disappointing but I think this is the best phone you could get with that price. I read a lot of reviews about this phone, saying we shouldn't buy it, it's not worth the money.. believe me. It's worth the money (if you're not pushing this phone to it's limits) It's a great phone, the fingerprint sensor works great, the design is slick and it's size is just perfect. not too big not too small. The performance is very smooth too. The seller preinstalled google services and I have no problem yet with this phone. The drawback is just the camera. Anythibg else is fine.

  • Flyme is very slow on my Mediatek Meizu M2.

  • does google apps eat the battery really ?? advise me plz

  • does it comes with step counter ? is battery life is good for 1 day ? is finger print has light ? plz help me thanks

  • Online , purchase redmi on Ali express it's cheaper than Lazada free shipping you'll only pay postal delivery 112 peso (for Cebu, not sure on other province/s).

  • Meizu is cheaper than oppo and vivo, specs are almost the same, still not sure yet about the hardware, my unit are approaching a year now, no problem so far!

  • lol, don't even compare Meizu with vivo and oppo, those two are overpriced af, they're only about aesthetics and not specifications. Meizu is nearer to Xiaomi, it's just that Meizu is using Mediatek chips which kinds turns off most people who know about tech or two 'cause xiaomi offers SD chipsets.

  • just a question for those who are knowledgeable with this.. which is the best within this 3 smartphones.. MEIZU , OPPO , VIVO??? thank you for answering...

  • Q> which is better in this 3 phones.. Meizu, OPPO or VIVO?

  • why ?

  • is it two app feature like xiaomi ???

  • no , of course it is not true

  • Helio x20 better then Helio p10 - the redmi note 4 (MTK) will provide you better performance especially in games... personally i recommend going with the Meizu m6 note or the redmi note 4x both have the same SD 625 processor, the Meizu m6 note is a better choice (compere to the redmi note 4/x) since it have better camera setup/build quality and also have usb type C and fast charging.

  • Why's that? I'm torn between the two, care to explain your reasoning?

  • hello, can u tell me bat usage screen on time in heavy use, i appreciate ur reply

  • haha he is playing with you!

  • if fast charging important to you get the M5 note otherwise get the redmi note 4.

  • Which is better between meizu m5 note and Xiaomi redmi note 4 MTK?

  • Which is better between meizu m5 note and Xiaomi redmi note 4 MTK?

  • all of the specs are amazing but 5mp front cam discourages me.

  • Great phone I got it yesterday and im impressed by the battery life. Also the speaker is great loud and clear the fingerprint sensor fast easy to use and the best part at least for me is that you dont have to install a custom recovery or 3rd party root apps to root the phone like xiaomi phones. You can enable in the setting on fingerprint and security. Also flyme os is great. The only “bad” thing I can say about this phone is that the camera is not great but medium quality but for me at least its totally fine because I dont use the camera. Also the mediatek processor is great and the games run flawlessly without lag even in powersaving mode.Amazing phone and great value for money

  • Tje meizu m5 note is one of best smartphone of the world,I recommend it...I am using it now and I have to admit that the camera is wonderful.

  • does meizu note 5 indian one suppport VOLTE

  • No

  • Just like oppo and vivo salesman in my country, they always destroy other brand

  • last week i went to sm north looking for redmi note 4 and the meizu salesmen told me that theres no redmi in the phil at all because the meizu is the new name of xiaomi...is that true?

  • Yep. Your meizu salesmen in MOA Cyberzone are not only actively selling it, they are also very active destroying other brand's name. We came by the store looking for a different brand (cos that's what written in the purchase order) and two of your meizu salesman never stopped bothering us and kept on pushing this meizu 5. They also destroyed the brand of the phone that we're after. VEry negative to other brands. That's not a good sales person. You don't have to do that to sell. Filing a complaint to the mall for wasting our time.

  • Your post has know merit at all. The reason being you you posted as anonymous.

  • It has secondary noise canceling mic of course.

  • go for redmi note 4

  • Because this phone doesn't comes with built-in secondary mic which is used for noise cancellation. Xaiomi and Lenovo have the secondary mic in almost all of their devices, I don't know why Meizu is still using single mic.

  • No secondary mic for noise cancelling?

  • there is Beta flyme 6 to be exact

  • really! how did you update it into flyme6. i check their website and i ddnt see the flyme6 for m5 note can you tell me how did you possibly update it into flyme 6,.

  • What's number of bandwith LTE?

  • It has dinorex glass.

  • Is there Gorilla Glass or Dinorex Glass as display protection?

  • Yes. It has gyroscope sensor and it has a good vr experience. I'm using it.

  • is it for vr gaming?

  • redmi note 4 is better

  • can i know meizu m5 note or redmi note 4 which one is better?

  • Yes this brand of phone is already available here in the Philippines you can now visit them in nearest Sm mall to you,.hope u buy this model i highly recommended it because i already using this phone i am pretty sure u will like it

  • ive use a lot of mobile brand,. but when i started using this brand i was amaze in all aspect,i both my m5 note last march and since then i never encounter any problem, best of it is the battery ,display ,sound ,and also the built camera, this brand is highly recomended in all age

  • so basically its the M3 note with Android 6 (Marshmallow) and another storage option, such a joke...

  • do this unit have a fine front facing camera and rear camera could take good photos? coz i do selfies and videos mostly with my phones..and i'm planning to buy this unit soon so.. i really need some help or opinion so i can decide to have this phone soon..

  • u can order it from Aliexpress online store realiable n fast shiping.

  • I think this is the best smartphone in its class, the quality is good

  • I condemn your arrogant and aggressive tone against the cellphones which have a particular Chinese brand. Actually all telephones are made by Chinese expertise and craftsmanship. I believe your argument has nothing to do with innovotation or development but you hate normal people's ability of buying affordable phones which are almost equal to poshy tools in quality and looks, thanks to Chinese pricing policies. You hate the purchase freedom and happiness of the people flooding the streets and market places. Chinese phones and Android OS give masses a chance and the unique opportunity to own good quality high tech equipment with reasonable prices. You are one of those individuals who worship power and stolen wealth. Eat your heart out. Yahya Tekin Istanbul Turkey.

  • why using a mic ( headphone ) ...when record a voice with recording or sing on smule....you will hear loud buzz sound when playback the records... this is my second set after i replace the first sete at shop i bought it...still the same...... the headphone/ mic ...works perfectly on other phone (xiaomi, lenovo)

  • how can i get the m5 i base in Nigeria Lagos

  • I have this phone for a week. Yes it's a little bit more expensive than a xiaomi, but for multiple good reasons: **Build quality is astonishing, full metal body and oleophobic 2.5D screen coating **Flyme 6 is a delight **performance is present as never on a M model **the screen is gorgeou, sharp and vivid **Sound quality is top notch **I think it has a DAC, because the sound on the jack is godamn good **camera uqality is way above average with fast focus **Battery life is good, easily a day and half of heavy usage wth always on LTE. I recommend it :)

  • i am using the phone from past one week , phone looks great in hands and metal body looks classy.. pros: build design home button 2.5 d screen bright and vivid colors in screen flyme os 6 beta andriod 6 front camera awesome back camera good good battery back up fast charging support processor is old but no lags in heavy gaming (shocking to me ) cons: sound is loud but no clarity no 4k video recording no ois phone is heating only while charging some times phone lags in flyme 5 but after update to flyme 6 beta no lag i have seen

  • Does meizu m5 note will be launched in india.

  • I find it a worrying trend that smartphones of the same size are getting heavier. Will we be stuck with 200 gram phones in a couple of years? Both the Meizu M5 Note and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 are the latest in these OEM's mid-range 5.5 inch phones. They both weigh a quite heavy 175 grams. Their immediate predecessors, the Meizu M3 Note and the Redmi Note 3 are 163/164 grams. So, will the successors to these phones be 185 grams?? I loved the LG G3 for its compact dimensions and modest weight - 149 grams. Would like to see 5.5 inch phones keep their weight below 160 grams, like the 5.5 inch Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge at only 157 grams!

  • LTE band 20 is not used anywhere in Asia, so probably not

  • 800 lte band included??

  • why no more IGZO screen Meizu..

  • Two colour ungly

  • This company will launch their flagship for a gap of 3 months. Only the xiaomi will do this work for not loosing their customers.

  • when m5 Note available in cambodia?

  • GSMA PLEASE make a review of this mobile PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • Where you can find model with 4GB RAM? I've seen only 3GB RAM models for 16 or 32GB internal memory but I can't find nowhere to order model with 4GB RAM.

  • Yep. Check FB page Meizu PH and check meizu available phones in Lazada

  • These chinese manufacturers are flooding the market with their junk ... A new phone every hour and always copying the same design, same screen resolution ..just a new name! Android must not be free anymore, so they we won't see all these trash brands anymore. Enough copies , we need someting new and innovative.

  • Another heavy-weight phone at 175 grams - same as Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. The Meizu m3 Note was only 163 grams and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is only 164 grams. All have roughly 4000 mAh batteries so why are the newer editions of these two phones 10 grams heavier?? Ideally, a 5.5 inch phone should be under 160 grams for comfortable holding over extended periods as in reading an e-book for example. OK, 10 grams isn't much difference but I see a worrying trend here. If newer phones are getting heavier every year, are we going to be stuck with nothing but 200+ gram phones in a year or two?

  • is meizu already in Philippines?

  • Stole htc m8 design

  • Another Marshmallow OS and its already December.. Pheww

  • Then buy meizu m3x which has helio p20

  • it is M3E+ with larger battery and USB Type-C and newer android. but the main feature for new generation is missing: Chipset!

  • If it is better than m3 note in these specs : Sound quality Glass quality Camera quality It is good. It it has these specs And it is a better choice to upgrade from m3 note to m5 note. Costs 899yuan

  • Exynos make a smartphone to be very expensive

  • All mediatek Chipsets are bad. Exynos is best for battery life.

  • Back from HTC front from samsung great design Meizu

  • Still using P10 for primary phones? No way could this m5 note sound interesting,at least a P20. Come on!

  • X10 is a disaster when it comes to power efficiency. P10 is better for battery life.

  • Expecting this phone to come to India.

  • MTK X10 is much better than P10, but still manufacturer still using P10.
