Never buy Micromax product. I repaired my phone several time. Some app are downloaded automatically again and again. Battery problem. Gets heated. Worst thing no software updates. Service centres people never co operates and charges are toooooo much high in their service centers.Internal memory is less. Front camera is worst. Thos very delicate phone . Mice problem could not repair for 7 months. I hate this company. Friends our money is hard earn money. Plz never select this company.

I had this phone . It worked well for 1 and half year and stopped working. Anyway sad news is this phone now obsolete and there will be no updates at all n I never got any updates on my phone while I was using it in 2015, so it's useless to expect an update now. Just root the phone n try custom roms Incase you want to root you have to use framaroot app to root the phone n then supersu app for root permissions Disclaimer - I'm not responsible any damages caused due to rooting. Had same problem with boot loop issue. Went to service center and they said phone is not manufactured any more and no spares available. They also said water got in which is not right. Now it won't even turn on. Don't buy MMX. It's life is only one or two years.

Using A114 since august 2014. Pros : Micromax phones are easy to root .Easy interface. Cons: Worst battery backup, internal storage & front camera. Primary camera isn't too good either. Micromax never gives software update on its phones. It's wifi stopped working nearly after an year. It's reciever started giving problems 6 months after purchase.

Hi to move your applications to external sd card.. 1.go to 'manage apps' 2.select the appliction you want move to external sd card 3.there u can see an option -->move to external sd card 4.u have select that option and move. that's all thats all

I am using canvas 2.2 and it has a lots of problem of storage it hangs a lot, apps are autamatically installed and updated which occupies much space and phone storage again and again runs out! battery backup is also very poor. Donot buy this mobile at all. The service agents itself are saying that there is a problem with this model it seems. I bought this mobile and I used it for just 9 months and got a problem with audio jack. They said that there is a problem with the motherboard it seems. I have handed it to the service center one and half month back and I have called to there customer service guys n no.of times and they are saying that I will get my mobile within 7 days. It has been one and half month where I handed over my mobile.But there is no response from your side at all. Better you could refund the money to me instead of giving the mobile. Worst Customer Service ever for micromax. I have given my mobile(Micromax Canvas 2.2 A 114) one month back for the service. They said that there is a mother board problem. It's not been a year where I bought my mobile and that got some mother board problem it seems. My phone has a warranty. But this is too much. I have waited for one long month for my mobile and still they are saying that I have to wait more 15 days for my mobile. This is not fair at all.

The problem may be due to bloated size if contacts. Check in storage tab in settings. If yes, take a backup and restore the contacts. It may solve the problem.

I'm using this phone for about 1 year and getting a problem with downloading apps from play store. The app gets downloaded with over 1-2% remaining. Then I get a notification that it's installing. I've been using this phone sice 2 years, it's been more than value for money. For a normal use batary longs for a day even now. I'm not a gamer so no coments. Primary cam is average, but that's the best one gets for that price. I've dropped this phone several times(with cover) on floor yet no complaints. Over all a very good device.. If you're an average user and not a gadget freak, you'd definitely not regret buying this phone.

I am using Micromax Canvas 2.2 since 1.6 years. Still there is no issues. many people using roughly ie their phones not durable. I want to give you advice : 1. keep your mobile's internal memory free instead install the application on external memory. 2. install clean manager and run this utility after every 10-12 hours every day. 3. when you charging your phone, remove when it shows 100% charged. 4. Used to play games on limit not more than 1 hour continueosly. I think your phone will work more better & faster.... Thanks...

Most of the time it doesnt works in direct sunlight .it take few seconds to get normal. Android phone needs regular cleaning or closing of unused apps .clean the junks regularly otherwise it heats or hang the phone lastly it may cause of damage of your phone . my MMX 114 is working fine till date bought last year may'14. camera is good in my phone. Flash is low . sound quality in headphone is ok . but only issue is its Rom 4gb and for user its only 1.5 gb regular updates lows or spaces in rom. overall OK

Worst Phone. Poor service highly disappointed. I purchased this last year. Getting problem with motherboard very frequently. Got replaced 2 times in guarantee period. Company takes about 45 days each time to replace same. Now guarantee finished and again same problem. Poor performance. Very poor after sales service. Dont recommend anyone.

Frequent hang-on problem and battery goes off. Five times the handset has been attended by micromax service center, surat but not even once they were able to solve the problem. Customer care is worst of micromax who syas that they don't have any power. Micromax service station peoples says that they cant do anything. My handset remains with micromax service station from 15th nov 2014 to 27 Feb 2014 but even they were not able to solve the problem. Guys if you have problem with phone display not turning on in direct sunlight while taking or receiving calls, then you need to reinstall the firmware with a newer one. Micromax has fixed the autobrightness issue. There is no OTA update, you will need to manually flash it using SP tools. Your warranty will remain intact as it is a stock version. I have posted a document which shows history report of software.

Well, the phone is quite good in terms of overall performance. Comparatively, outdoor camera shoots are better. Video quality is impressive. Touch response is exellent but lags when too many apps running at the same time not very often though. Music and loudspeaker volumes are depressing. Supports heavy games quite well. Battery back up is poor and gets heat up too much.

Nd one time by my mistake i broke the screen aftr one month bt i hvnt change the screen.. I m working wid crack screen without any problm. And the full HD quality is too good with the 8 mp superior nd gretest camera. Daily evning i compared my phn's camera wid senior's phn camera like sony, samsung nd other bt all they loose frm my phn. Gud speed nd no hang wid simply look of phn. Battry is also good. And approx. 40-50 times dis phn thrown by me bt no scratch nd no problems occurred.

Don't joke bro. I am user of Canvas 2.2 from 6months. I take pics of my notes on and off every day and time. It's never blurred. You must go to camera>settings>then check whether it's 8mp or not? If it's 8mp try focusing the pics till clarity increases. If still nothing happens. Try video recording the notes in 1080p_HD. Then you can pause and zoom. Hope this helps you. This is the best phone I've ever used.

Though not necessary..flash is also good at night time Video recording is awesome....1080p Battery drain is very high... From 100% to 80%, after that slow discharging... dont worry... 2. buying a micromax is just like playing a lottery game where either your mobile will last for more than 1 year or may turn up bad after 1 year of warranty as the quality of parts is not good....just visit a micromax service center and see for yourself that they receive 100-150 mobile sets daily for repairs and just visit any branded mobile company's service center where you will not found that much crowd....even the repairs takes many days varying from 3 days to 2 month in most cases....anyone who wishes to test his luck can buy this micromax...i have also unfortunately bought a micromax and am now suffering

bitter after sales service center experience....dust is entering my canvas 2.2 and covered front camera which is now unusable and on approaching service center the concerned person said that he cannot stop dust from entering mobile as it is made like such by company...I just want to ask is a mobile made in a way that dust will enter the mobile...the problem is not with the camera only as the dust enters the mobile and covers the circuit board as well soon the mobile will start heating and parts will burn and after warranty i cannot even claim the repairs from company....and the worst part is other canvas 2.2 owners who were standing there at service center were also having the dust covered camera they have shown me....WTF micromax i will never in my life again purchase a micromax product

Here at Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh micromax service center is collecting 100 mobile sets of various models on daily basis.... for a small problem they are taking 7 days to repair mobile and for motherboard problem they are taking upto 25 days.... You may not believe it but its a reality...though the mobile is good but what if there is a problem a few months after purchase....micromax will have to ensure fast customer service as well if it want the users to repurchase micromax mobile in future....

i have been using this mobile for the last 2 months and found its performance to be pretty good...it gives me full day battery backup with making 10-12 calls, 4 hours of internet use on 2g....i don't listen to music on this....most games work flawlessly without lags....i will say what can we expect under 10000 rupees as none of the company is going to give you value above what you are spending... buy it without second thought or else you will remain confused

It has superb HD IPS display wid high resolution..and net browsing speed nd processoe are also superb. It has 1GB RAM which supports high ends games. I used to play games like Mustapha, Tekken, Street Fighter, Subway surfer and many high end games in it. Ya..its 8mp camera blurs in moving objects due to low shutter time...but in the field of video recording, its amazing with its 1080p full HD recording...I always record videos in only 1080p HD. U all will rarely found 1080p recording in any other brands or models in this price.. It has smooth n nice responsive touchscreen also.. It also has many hidden and highends android features.. I m also using Galaxy S duos2 now but I prefer canvas 2.2 more.. It also has more than above battery backup of 2000mAH which ends till the all day long and u can also extend it by battery saver apps... *Conclusion....Superb phone with amazing features and stunning looks...

I got Canvas 2.2 on ebay.in for 8,698/-, received this phone before 1 week, so I would try to give a genuine feedback. This is a very good smartphone by micromax. Phone performance is nice on regular usage and on playing games like temple run 2, candy crush etc.(although, I haven't use any heavy games yet). No lags or hangs had been observed so far. Screen is bright & colourfull. Tough is smooth & responsive. Voice quality is also good. The speaker volume is a bit low while playing videos or listening to music. Battery is drained quickly if u use it for any purpose but otherwise it dosen't drain significantly while idle even if ur 3G is on. Medium or Heavy user may not have a full day battery life but low user can have almost a full day on battery. Camera performance is a bit disappointing considering a 8 MP camera. Moving objects a mostly blurred due to low shutter speed. Heavy grains can be seen in low light images. It couldn't compete with results of 5MP camera of nokia or samsung. So called LED light is given but its not actually "LED". its got only 2 colours: red & yellow, which is a regular small bulb kind of thing. To conclude: Pros: 5 inch qHD bright screen responsive touch Excellent Performance Light weight Cons: Low volume Low battery: no stamina mode is given 2 colour LED light Camera performance not up to the mark BUT, overall, This is worth its price. So, I would recommend this in below 9K price.

Cons: * When timer time is up while using Google maps the phone freezes for some moment. u have 2 install new keyboard app... (smart keyboard is better) and go to system setting in that Language & input settings..there u see an option as keyboard input settings under that default n select as new keyboard app which u have downloaded..:)

Phone hangs or Battery drain can also be bcoz of netowork signal/Data problem. hello!! i have bought dis phone on 25 july 2014 and i am using it. its a superfast fone. it never hangs. camera is just awesome!!!!! and flash too than before in canvas 2. i have bought it only of Rs.8700 from nearby my house. battery backup is also good. This is a far far better phone compared to those expensive sony/samsung phones in the range of 10000-15000. Even it costs much less as i got it for 9600 from the local shopkeeper. Those who criticize it have to admit that all the flaws they mention are not really worth considering. I mean to say there is no company out there which gives a phone as good as canvas 2.2 A114 for mere 9600 rupees. believe me i have used sony xperia u prior to this but there were great flaws with that phone as its GPS never used to get lock. battery backup was so-so. But here with micromax GPS is good, battery backup is good as i get 18 hours of battery backup with normal use. If you take my word go for it without second thought. you will never regret it.

After using 7 months,it is smooth nd works realy great. I use 1 gb games in it it plays smooth. Like Asphalt 8:airbone, clash of clan . Iron man. Thor ..it plays all of them smoothly.. I bought this phone on 24 jan 2014...no doubt it has many good features especially its camera quality.....bt ya coming to the point, on 15 june it started to auto reboot while dialing any number so i rushed to s.centre...they first updated the software bt problem was still there so told me to leave the set for a couple of hours and so i did.....then they told me that there is some problem in its mother board and it needs to get replaced & whole procedure will take around 15-20 days....today is 26th day & what are they telling me is that the part has not even been delievered to the centre & it may take atleast 10 more days to solve the problem......

While trying to call some one or attending calls the display will go blank and show micromax symbol followed by canvas and the display will again comes but further takes time to update data.
