i have been using this mobile for 2.5 yrs and here is the pros and cons pros 1.really fast if you use 1 or 2 apps in background and only hangs if you run more number if apps as 512mb is not enough 2.loud speaker is loud enough to here music 3.camera is OK in daylight 4.after using the phone for almost 3 years not but problems have been found cons 1.512mb ram is very low as chrome only takes all the memory 2.heated like a iron box 3.battery is very very poor only 4.power button is work only if you press hard 5.data cable is work only is twist like a knot 6.camera is horrible at night or in low light

Hi vicky, If you wont to send a MMS via A89-Ninja follow the simple step as bellow - (1) go to Messages (2) touch on + button for new SMS (3) then touch on jams-clip icon from top-write corner. (4) the attach a VDO, Picture, Audio etc (5) then send to a number. It will be automatically sent as MMS. Tnamks

For starters, its a very gud phone. But, I faced following problems in first 2 years: 1)Battery drains very fast. 2)Power Button (on/off). 3)Charging Base Issue (doesn't charge unless you twist your wire a bit.. a bit irritating till you get it repaired..) 4)Camera quality.. especially in the night(very poor). But, the biggest of them all is the voice on the call. It is very very low.

Pros:- dual core in 2012 at 6k(appx) 4 inch lcd sound is good after 2 yr it never faced a problem and it frezee only 2 times never visited to customer care Cons:_ battery extremely poor quality headphone is the poorest and tears in few months after buying. excess heat(can be solved by rooting)

I have been using this phone for past 15 months very nice phone no glitch whatsoever, runs nearly all apps. On full charge it can run for 10 hours of normal use ie. is call, browsing and music, drains fast when hotspot is enabled. used by kids for nearly 6 months and still functioning brilliantly. tnxs to micromax.

hi i have bought this phone in april 2013 after 3 months of great service the left earpiece is not working. i changed my earphone and as i tried the standard earphone/sony earphone as well which don't have mic. i took my phone to service center they said it will take one month straight away.i don't have option so i used that for next five months its give great experience with android,game i have played modern warfare game which consume most data.As such for battery it give a battery backup of one day full on 2g sim and full day wifi connectivity, and on whatsapp.so all in all experience is good. but now u have submitted my phone to service center to get repair that LEFT earpiece problem.i had given my phone in January end till now that phone is in service center.they said they will give my phone by 10 march.lets see what happens...if they will correct my phone issue then i will stick to this brand other wise i will change my brand

very good.... just disable phone animation and graphics, speed will magically increase. set brightness to auto, battery will last for a day . charge ur battery by switching off the mobile, it will increase ur battery life and also avoid other risk . since using from six months and its like my best friend . wonderful game at this price tag, and I never faced any problem by playing games of size about 150 MB . It's camera isn't pretty good on low loght, but in sunlight the camera works very well. It has 2G & 3G both networks, Wifi. If you want a good smartphone under 7k, then go for it.

It is loaded with all premium features of a smartphone in the range of 15-20k.. I purchased this on 8 may 2013 for Rs 6000 from a local store,3 days after it was released... Though i was a bit confused b/w mmx a89,xolo a500 and lava irisn400..but finally made a call on this set... and till now i have no regrets at all after a week's usage.. Here is my complete review: Pros: 1. Dual core processor (very fast n no lags at all) & android ICS 2. 512 (472) MB RAM out of which around 230 is used by processes and around 240 remains free out of the box 3. 3.9" very smooth capacitive touch screen with great resolution (800*480) .looks like an IPS display 4. Great Loudspeaker with very good clarity 5. 2.1 GB internal storage memory and 503 MB for apps 6. Ambient light sensor,g-sensor,proximity sensor all work fine but magnetic field sensors does't work 7. Plays 720p videos smoothly..it even plays MKV formats (get MX player for better experience) 8. Quadrant (2879) ,neenamark 2 (27.4 fps) and antutu (7214) benchmarks scores are also v.good (my set) 9. Built quality is also v.good,looks premium 10. I am using this phone since last 4 months. I found 1 issue in it. Some times after keeping idol for than 3 or 4 hours, on home screen it shows message as "Launcher has got problem. Would you like to close?" with 'Ok' and 'Wait' buttons. If you tap 'Wait', then it gets hanged and if you tap 'Ok' then somehow you can come to the home screen and then it works properly. Please do not buy any product of MICROMAX. Before doing so please once visit the service center of the same company near by your home town. You will find the stupid behavior of the micromax staff, unresolved mobile problems and minimum a que of 150 people a day. I have used A89 new just for two months and then it started giving problems like battery over heating, charger not working and till the date I am trying to repair it by giving to outsiders eventhough still my mobile is in warranty period just to get it ON at-least and yet failed to do so. This is the best Android below 7000k. Guys just go for it. I'm using this phone six months. Phone is very smooth and very fast no lag. Playing game in this phone just awesome . Touch panel and display just awesome. Camera and other features just brilliant. The only drawback is loud speaker and battery. But battery backup far better than low budget galaxy model(under 11000k). Loud speaker sound quality not just bad, it's rubbish. In outdoor you don't listen the sound of the speaker .

best phone under 6000. many people think to buy Samsung star instead of it bcoz for them micromax is a new company in the market . but this is a foolish thought, this phone is working quite nicely .believe me there is a big difference between both the phones screen size and processor too.the only problem with the phone is with its battery backup . if u use it constantly for 3 hours then the battery will be discharged but if use it efficiently then it will run atleast for a day. believe me best phone under 6000.

I bought this phone 2 months ago. Good design. Slim. Highly sensitive touch. The camera quality is not so high due to fixed focus camera. But luks not bad in daylight photos. Battery backup depends on how hardly you use it. Still thats not much bad. Very good screen quality due to high pixel density. Supports 720p playback without help external players. Bluetooth transfer speed is good. You can transfer files over wifi using an external application called 'Flash Transfer' to any android phone having installed the same app in it. Very Good internet speed both on wifi and network. Easy handling. I would say its much good for Rs.6000-6500.

It worked for that session. After that i tried to use GPS several time with Wifi on and off, but it is not working. I am using Google navigation and Maps. The message which i get is "Waiing for GPS". Overall what the use if it is a great mobile. Last month I bought a new A89 and it stopped recharging...took it to the service center and to my surprise people who bought this 5 days were in the que and most of the people had....battery charging issues and software issues. Well I learnt a lesson to not to just read and beleive in the forums. Infact my old trusted phone came to my rescue. Brands are brands guys. I emailed the Micromax customer support and got a reply the phone supports the US radio frequencies, but no information why the phone does not work. Go to settings=>click on wi-fi =>turn on wi-fi =>go bellow and click left button => click on advanced =>clik on 'keep wi-fi on during sleep' and =>click on "never(increases data usage)...and then exit... Heating is the main issue for a89 handset but it is 80% solved by micromax. most new version set made with stock rom v3. This version not resolve heating issue and that why battery drainage quickly. I request to user all a89 user to use old stock rom v2 for a89 which is heating issued solved and you get terrifically increase battery backup. take some steps to keep MMX Ninja a89 battery long lasting. -download and use Juice defender from play store - switch off wifi while not in use. -Close programs which you are not using. - take out unnecessary screen saver. Reg heating, best thing do not close the backside on your palm for long . It needs ventilation. Try to hold the phone with finger tips. Heating while charging is very common. One very important step though no seller tells you. After getting the new phone do not cherge the phone immediately. Let the phone use up whatever charge is there and switch off on its own. then do full charge. Do this circle two three times. by fifth cycle your phone battery will work much better.

I bought this phone. Try to lower the display brightness and kill any task as & when it is completed. Switch of the screen lock ASAP after use. Don't keep in vibrate mode or keypad vibrate. For me with normal usage it stands for 48hrs. With heavy games, browsing, movies it stands upto 3 - 4 hrs

i just bought ninja.I am surprised about the speed and features of this mobile. Honestly, it has no jerks, no lags, i have installed subway surfer & temple run(OZ), i have not seen any problem in between the game. The biggest advantage of ninja is its android version,its sound quality is also good,its screen brightness is too good, its touchscreen sensitivity is just awsm.....in my opinion, its more than enough what we can get in Rs,6400. really,bro go for it...the only disadvantage is the flashlight and the front camera...but just forget it...in 6400 it is the no.1 mob you will get.

Don't worry about the phone performance. I just purchased it and found it decent enough. As everyone says, BATTERY of the phone is very poor. With average usage you may last for 6 hrs. Also the phone screen unlocking button on the right side is a bit of issue. I suspect it will have a problem in the long run.

many of d new buyers r gettng same confusion,as both mobiles r gud and using same hw,but some how lava has bettr specs in camera as well in display.many doubt abt lava brand name but I think u shud visit to flipkart.com for user review of dis as well as q800,which is also awesome.u will get ur ans.better to go wid xolo,but as it is out of stock frm reputed stores so it will be difficult fr u.but xolo has launhed q700 at 9999 wid quad core and 1gb ram(same hw as of a116).so best to go wid tht as u will get double inspite of dese two! but in these two u shud go wid xolo.

The A89 ninja is a really gud phone,and for a price like Rs.6500,it's a real steal.Pros such as gud screen resolution,great touch response and multitasking,great internet browsing speed(checked myself on speedtest for 3g network and gave 5.23 mbps!and you can get better than this!)can also run heavy games with ease.Poor battery & camera & heating issue(during heavy use)are major cons for the A89.I wud also suggest to look at the xolo A500 & the LG A30 which are also in the same price tag.

frndzz....itz awesome phone... .. it supports all the high end games.....also can watch high end hd videos.. .. and i dont feel any problem with the battery, cz i got min 24 hrs backup when continsuly using data.. and no heating... .. in all way itz SUPERB with this low cost
