Although its difficult to use it when texting nowadays, this mobile is still very useful as handheld device especially during long talks. Still hippy having it. The problem is the charger that is not anymore available in the market. So I need a universal charger to charge it. I hope the battery type will still be available in the market.

I have this moto for about 4/5 years and it is one of the best cellphone i've ever seen, i like it better than the v3, it died on me multiple times and i've always brought it back to life (FW repair thru usb p2k cable), with the v620 firmware installed you get the best vga photo quality of these types of cameras, everything is editable in this phone, in one word this one i'll never let go, 5 stars! other models rating: v3:3 stars, v360:5 stars, v620:5 stars, I still have a lot of models to test

i've had this phone for 2 and a half years and i would have to say that it is very reliable. I have had no problems with it although i don't really like the camera.. it's a VGA. But still i would have to say that it is pretty good. :)

I have had it about 2,5 year. Now, around 1,5 year, i have many problems, such as, phone turns off/on very often, makes restarts, don't react on calling (can't call and can't take a call) cute often, often can't send messages, also multimedia doesn't work properly. And i haven't hit this phone never and phone is in good condition (appearance).

well, i bout the V535 when it first came out and have had it now for about...3-3.5 yrs and have never had any problems with it until now and the only issues i am even having now is that some of the number buttons are not working properly anymore (not all the time though) and my display is malfunctioning when i close the phone (still stays on) but with a bit of a tap or smack it goes back to normal....lol but i mean hey, thats pretty good for a phone that has lasted me 3+ yrs... oh and i agree the camera and video aren't the best but they were for their time...lol

I have a motorola V550, Same as V535, Got mine when they first came out, it has been the best, never has it let me down, have A Moto V6-MAXX as well, but i use 2 mobiles & still prefer my old faithful. Motorola is the Best By Far.

I still have this phone 3 years and I must say its very good and is very think and sturdy phone. Difficult to break it really it has a few knocks on it since I bought it. Also its is very easy to find in your bag or pocket. The camera and video features are really bad and is one downfall of this phone. Another bad point is it does not have much memory for pictures, videos or messages and the internet freezes or else it cuts out and then turns back on again. It takes ages to charge sometimes overnight. I can get 2 days at most on the charge would like to get more.

Lovely when it works! I've just sent it for repair for the FIFTH time... Guess I was just unlucky, huh? Won't go Motorola again. My old Nokia has been a godsend while this has been in repair...

Its ok but it could have more memory, no problems to charge and lock aplications are good. It would be a good fone if it had a longer video recorder and and camera. Apart frm that a good small phone to have.

a word of advice- when u use the USB cable, if it says a file is corrupt, DELETE IT! I kept a corrupt file and it messd up mi fone and cost �30 2 fix. tank yall x apart from dag its good. cud have more memeory but good enuff 4 me! xxxxxxxxxxx

The memory is not enough.So the bluetooth won't help sometimes.Also when I lock the multimedia using lock applications,but I can open pictures without unlocking multimedia by going through photo fun pack.so the software isn't good.

What a top phone ,great design & easy to use i got my V535 half price @ my local optus store ive had it for 12 months now &the only trouble that ive had is it can be slow & some times it freezes but with what ive put it through it has survived well Eg; it has been fully submerced in water, droped countless times as i am a school student & it is forever geting sat on to anyone who wants to get one i say good choice!!!

I've got 2 of these rubbish phones that are a paperweight as they keep breaking down. the 1st one just stopped charging and handsfree would not work, second one just stopped picking up signal. Motorola wont help (even though just on 12mths old) I look after stuff which made no diff. i'm going back to sony ericsson, at least if they break, they fix it or are helpful.

I really like my V535 i think it has a cool design [even if it is a bit big]. The red is really original and pretty. I have the same problem as everyone else though, the memory. Its shocking but i cope I just put the stuff off my phone onto the computer then when i want it bak i just put it bak on my phone thru the computer. Problem Solved!

The phone is Ok memory is very low compared to Nokia phones and camera is very bad video footage is ok. But good thing about it that it doesnt break easily because of the thick clam shell cover around it I have dropped it a few times and no breakages. Ringtones are ok too and so are the games I like the Wakeboarding game.

I had the V550 and it was absolute rubbish! The display went haywire after about 8 months - it kept flashing on and off really fast - (not good on the eyes) and in general it was just very tacky. I mean it was really sturdy n all but the usability themes etc. were no good! It's not much to look at too. I wouldnt bother getting this phone. Just stick to a nokia they're much more better

Worst mobile phone I have ever owned, I advise all to stay away from this piece of rubbish. If this is the best that Motorola can supply to the genenral public, then it is no wonder that Nokia lead the way. I will be glad to return to Nokia.

I curse the day I got it, it has given me nothing but bother since day one, Freezing, not receiveing text messages, not receiving phone calls (!!) - the whole point of having a phone is so that it receive and sends texts and phonecalls!! when i first bought this phone i was delighted with it, camera and video recorder were pretty decent, but there a little dated by todays start as most phones are now at least 1MP. the memory is terrible and drives me nuts as you can store very little material ie photos and videos. My mate had this phone and the speaker broke and only worked on speakerphone, the exact same thing has happened me twice, got it fixed, it lasted 3wks and im back to square one, try using speakerphone in a noisey evironment like a busy street, impossible!! im defo going back to nokia.

andrea, the phones mp3 player can be used for other than ringtones. my mate sent me a song via bluetooth that plays on the mp3 player. only problem with the phones is memory, an average song is bout 3.5 - 4mb, the phones memory is 5mb so thats used up all my memory. other than tat, great phone

Looks pretty, love it - but its only comfy and good to show off. A few months after buying it brand new from Vodafone, the speaker went nuts by itself (now it works only with Speaker ON!!). Had probs from the beginning with the '3' key... I wont sell it cuz I like it, but its my first and last experience with Motorola. Im going back to Nokia. Nokia rules. As for the guarantee sh...t, who cares and who has time for it. A phone is not supposed to break during the first 4 months if used properly!!

I love this phone however, I do agree that the memory sucks. I've asked around and you can not add any memory to this phone. The best way that I've seen to send information too and from your phone is thru the bluetooth way. Buy a USB bluetooth key for your computer and upload/download at your convenience. If anyone hears any news on boosting memory for this unit, please send me an email. Ciao all and Happy New Year!

First question: No you can not add memory cards sofar i know of. at least i have not found card slot on this phone second question: Downoading pictures to PC you need a Bluetooth USB dongle.

to answer some questions i comonly see this phone has a mp3 player but to get songs on it you need a set of motorola headphones which ive seen as cheap as �29.99 at a motorola store in preston i bout it for �129.99 when it first came out now its as cheap as �59.99 get it now i personly ADVISE IT.

Hi! I Bought my phone in Moskou, while being on vacation. Very glad! but then i got this problem. I can not use my bluetooth fully. Sometimes i only can send files out, sometimes it doesn't work at all. But what i do know for sure is that i can not get connected with other phones in the way so I can get pics and music by bluetooth. I bought this mobile 6 months ago. All went well untill tree weeks ago. I noted that the sound power was lower and lower, and now i cannot listen to the person that phones me. I've ensured that volume is set to maximun. I must turn on the rear speaker to be able to hear something. Has that happened someone else? Knows someone a solution?

i have the Orange model (V545) and i like this phone. not only does it look nice with the black and silver design, it also provides: a decent camera, bluetooth, mp3 ringtone & playback and a very nice blue backlight. yes, the battery does let it down and so does the memory. So dont complain bout the battery life, i'm not! it's a mobile phone, they all have to run out of power sometime! and also, the bluetooth does send files out cuz i've done it myself so whoever says it cant is WRONG!! As for the so called "problems" by reviewers on other sites. Well i've not had any yet but i'll "cross that bridge if i get to it" and if i do... I will go back to where i got it from and sort it out (Dixons, �69.99)...

This phone actually isn't worth the money , it may have mp3 and ability to watch movies in 3gp format ,but the speaker of the this phone is so badly positioned because some times you can't hear the phone ringing , the camera is very bad , the keypad lights goes off when youre using the phone (write a text message), the phone crashes now and then . It may have an mp3 player and a possibility to watch 3gp movies , but how can you put a song on this phone , deleting everything that's deleteable . In other word it's not worth it !!!I bought one of these and i am very sorry !!! I am looking forward of selling this phone (I only had it for one week) !!!

I bought a this phone 4 days ago from Romania (P.S. Romania doesn't suck ;) )and i think that this phone is rather good for it's price the only things that is very unlikely is that it has only 5 mb of memory and hasen't a slot for memory card (is there an adaptor for memory cards to plugin where the data cable is pluged ? )and the postion of the speaker , some times you cannot hear the phone ringing if there is a little bit of noise .

Hy.I luv this phone.it has only 2 problems asa far as i see it.It doesn't support a memory card,and i can't see only the phone of the sim memory(or i don't know how 2 do it). And something else.i've seen a lot of opinion that are far from the truth.if you don't know how to set the video recorder(it's initial setting is 4 seconds,so it can be sent in a mms)you'd better shup up.and this only one exemples of the many i've seen. I have Motorola E550 (T-Mobile) and I use it in Argentina. The phone is very nice. Have all I need. Video Capture with audio, Mp3 Player, 1000 Entries for Contacts. Nice screen (better than V600). --- Motorola phones works great for this purpose. Comunicate. Have the better signal of the market and a good battery life. The only things I hate are: * The operator start: I can't disable the intro and the sound is veeeery loud, without possibility of decrease the volume setting for this. * The volume controls for Java Applications did't work. So if you play a game at night or in a public space you have to disable the sound). (Sorry my english. I speak spanish).

The phone is a good all rounder. Video storage is very small - about 3 seconds! The "corrupt" messages you get are due to insufficient memory to store the picture, video, sound file - don't panic! Shame that multiple phone numbers for the same contact are shown as separate numbers in the address book. No problems with bluetooth headset and find battery life is fine. Like all Motorola's when you re-charge the phone it dis-charges the battery first, so don't think you can just top up the battery before going out for the day. Charge it overnight! MMS works fine and SMS is OK - but does anyone know how to set the entry mode for the predictive text so that it starts in Capital and Lower letters mode rather than all Capitals?

It has 65.000 colours, 640x480 VGA with video, bluetooth, 2 screens, the design is nice and i like it's options in the menu a lot. And the price is very good. So stop comparing it to other phones, check the price first.You can't have it all for nothing.

This fone is good but the video is pretty crap. Its very blurry nd when watching it the picture can zoom off with the sound coming after. Also some days i dont get any messages thru nd then if i switch my fone off nd on agen all the messages come thru...is that the fone or the network? Also on the outside of my fone the display can turn upside down which is worrying! Thanx alot xxx

hi im thinking of purchasing a motorola v535 but i want to know why does the phone freeze an the lights come off while text messaging. also i would like to know if the phone can play music videos, an if you have a compatable data cable would you need the motorola softwer(cd to install on harddrive).thanks for listening bye.

hello there all you motorola geeks. iv just ordered a motorola v535 and after hearing an excessive statment saying * the photos are blurry * the keypad lights turn on and off when using * size of memo is little * and freezes up every now and then? iv paid $310.00 australia dollars for this mobile so if anyone has any information you feel i should know off, even if its minor .. im eager to know.. thank for you time and i will keep incontact.. cheers guys. a to be hellomoto supporter.

This phone is quite good, by the way, it has mp3 player (i have e550 model). But I can't find drivers for this phone for Windows 98. Can anyone help me with this? I need adress where I can download the drivers, or if someone could send the drivers to my e-mail. Thanks.

This fone is quite cool, nice ringtones good sound and a good camara, only ting is wen i take a pic it goes all blurry wen i save it. Is this just my fone? The videos cool 2! Good phone overall 4 a good amount of money!

The phone is, overall good. Pics cannot get any better and yes the cam is bad. yes the phone's key light goes on and off while writing a message. Important: u cannot delete anything from the original package except the themes. they will give u an extra 500kb, thus ending up with 5,4 mb. It's main advantage is the great price.

hello... phone is pretty good and at this price range is the best choice imo... i have one question though... why are the pics so blury? my girlfrien got samsung e800 also fitted with vga camera and the pics made by her phone are by far more sharper... any ideas? Is it just my phone failure or v535 just can't make any better photo?

The currupt file message means taht what you are trying to download is too big for the avialable space remaining on the phone it is not a bug just a badly phrased warning.

Handset looks good. However 5mb memory renders the mp3 player useless! mp3's average size is 3.5mb? whats the point! Good alrounder tho. Shame you cant turn predictive text off too.

argh, i cant like this phone... why? why cant i like it? ill tell you why-- coz my friend has it. long story short: ive wanted a phone like this for ages and ages and ive been saving up for so long to buy it, and a week before i could afford it my friend comes to school and goes "hey look at my new phone, isnt it cool?" and i swear i couldve slaughtered him... *gives friend deathly look* so yeah, thats my story... my sad sad story. now i think ill go use my voodoo doll on my "friend" *chuckles evilly*

Great phone (could use more memory though), usb cable works aok, the bluetooth works well for file transfer, handsfree and modem, but wont connect mobile phone tools for calender/contacts synchronisation! PS if you leave bluetooth on drains battery in short time.

Never mind, fixed it, all it needed was a master reset (settings, initial setup, master reset) .. and it doesnt delete anything either!

My V535 sometimes shows 'corrupt' videos and I cannot play them...is it some sort of bug?? Can it be fixed?? Can anyone help because Motorola couldn't!!! :)

Checked out the phone on this website. and was joyed to see it had MP3 player and mp3 ringtone capability, but with no memory card expansion i dont see this as a real benefit, and also checked it out today in a Phone store and the Staff there said it doesn't have mp3 ringtones as the specs say. please mail me back @ [email protected] if you can help.

Did you guys realize that all Motorola products not just look identical but also have almost exactly the same features??? I hate how fat they are... the screen could be bigger and the cameras could be better too. The features are ok... But I just don't like the design... My friends have the V525, V600 and V300 and I don't like any of them... The UMTS phones are even uglier...and when I held the V3 i wasn't too impressed either. It's slim for sure...but wide and still big. I could almost say it's a typical "American" design. Phat and huge :P I'm just joking....but they should get a new designer and be a bit different...and stylish.

I really love this fone, Im so glad they changed the inside from the v300 that was the reason i didnt get that fone, then they bring this beauty out complete with bluetooth, mp3 and ofcourse video capture, i plan on buying this fone next week!!

To Stardust: Why are you so negative about Motorola? FYI - The E550 has been tested by the Connect magazine (largest European telecommunication magazine) and it jumped on the 3rd place in their all time product ranking list!!! So the E550 can't be so bad...

There's NO IrDa in E550. This phone has the exact same spec as V620 (Quad band, Video capture, full vCard support) besides of a different housing.
