  • Its a gud phone but yes Keypad coating goes off very soon. I have changed keypad 3 times. I found keypad in Hyderabad Nokia Priority. Its battery back up sucks.

  • A wonderful and classic phone. the instrument is rare which is its best quality. it a combination of facilities. one can consider it as a limited edition instrument coz very few can be lucky enough to have it. i am using the phone since last 1 year and there have been no problems. the phone might have fallen at least 8 times since now but no damage repoted neither hardware nor software

  • Bad phone ... in the span of 3 months key pad got locked twice.. phone was with Nokia care almost 15 days first time. I got my phone back and within 7 days, the keypad locked again.It is still with Nokia care centre. They called me to pick up the phone and they realised that problem is still not resolved. They are just not ready to accept that my mobile is faulty and refuse to rplace it . I am without moile almost for one month .Don't buy this phone

  • very bad mobile, you cant use both touch screen i.e.,when typing message in touch screen and FM in same time,, it will reboot and hangs. and once repaired in nokia care also now the hangs and restart little bit lately.. very bad.. and the service that i got is very bad.. i just wasted my 7 hours in nokia care.. and there i checked once.. as it was working and didn't hanged restarted at that time.. i came.. back and tried for few more minutes of typing message using touch screen while listenig to FM..its started hanging man.. ONE more draw back is that it weighs too much..   • It's metallic body is it's major drawback itself. Although,it doesn't break through on falling bieng metallic but its quite prone to have scratches on it very easily. Otherwise it's ok.........it has usuall Nokia features.

  • Friends, I have been using this cell and it has cross almost 200 hrs now.My reveiews are: 1. Battery back up is not that great - of you have good number of calls (>1hr daily) and travelling, this is not a phone for you 2. As it is not coming with carl-zeiss optics, the image quality for the cameea is not that great. 3. Music quality is ok 4. Speakers are good 5. Comes with scientific/loan calculator 6. Browsing is fast and smooth 7. Elegent design, yet a bit weighty. The stencil is big and bulky 8. Touch screen is ok 9. Software hangups are very less compared to other S40 series 10.Bluetooth is good In the end, a good phone if your calls are less.

  • I am about to buy this phone. I have a choice btwn this (6208) and N81. Though the prices varry and so do the features, but I like the shape and looks of 6208 to be a lot better. N81 has a symbian OS while 6208 has a Nokia 40 OS. 6208 is bulky while this piece is lighter and perhaps more appealing in looks. N81 comes with a 8GB internal! and a >300MHz processor making it fast unlike the older Symbian OS phones. N81 is 3G, quad band, hiher class GPRS and has Wifi too. 6208 has a 3.2Mp cam while N81 has a 2Mp. Am thoroughly confused between the two. Anyone with any comments?

  • Just bought the phone. The quality of the phone is very good. Stainless steel back and excellent fit'n finish. The speaker is very loud too. So much better than the N78 I've got few months ago. The N78 is the worst Nokia I have ever owned. It's going in the drawer as a backup phone, so no more Nseries for me.

It's just like you take stock nokia 6300, stretch it sideways, rip off the small lcd and replace it with larger lcd (with touch screen), then you realize the frame won't fit the lcd, then you extend the length upwards, put the lcd in. "wait.. we don't have name for it..." then you take 4 dices, you shake em well in tin can, you throw em on the table... the numbers are: 6244 And because you sell it in china, they don't like number 4, you sum those two fours into 8, then 6208 comes to surface. You put c for Chinese. Done. Give it simple package, put it trucks, load it into stores, then put prices on. Nokia 6208c anyone?

  • 6208c aka Nokia 6208 for the Chinese Market. The T9 keyboard has always been favorable for people who use the international alphabet. The same is not true for Chinese who utilize around 3000 characters in their vocabulary. While the rest of the world finds convenience in dividing 26 alphabets among the 9 numeric keys, this is not feasible if you have 3000 characters to choose from. I highly commend Nokia for adopting its product to meet the demands of the local market.

  • what is the OS? this doesn't look like a S60. is this S40 or linux coz i heard that nokia is not letting go their development of linux OS on their phones and nokia will (still) not have an android-based phone.

  • Different phones are made for different people. Nokia obviously made this the Chinese market. All you people that think Nokia is going downhill because of these phones are stubborn and only think of themselves. Think of it this way. Mercedes makes high end cars for high end drivers but also makes Smart cars for drivers wanting to be fuel efficient.

  • It does not have wifi because is meant to the chinese market. The features are downgraded to hit a mass market, not a niche. Please understand that nokia DOES NOT have to make always the best devices around, they have to make some only for the profit. So, think with me: a touchscreen with a moderate price tag, under the brand Nokia, is gonna be a hit in the market... Dont' get me wrong, I don't like the phone also, but I understand why Nokia has made this one... P.S: I'm waiting for N97, of course... But I will understand anybody who buys these one...

  • when i 1st see this device i thought it's Chinese duplicate made but it's not it's from NOKIA nothing special just the touch screen although the Camera is 3 MP but for me i kind of got used to the 5 MP Camera... so it's true... NOKIA testing the market by represent new touch screen device... this should not go out for sale NOKIA should keep it and try to develop the touch screen tech from the inside they shouldn't released to the market when the customers see this they will have 2nd thought about NOKIA touch device we have 5800 already and N97 is coming soon. just my opinion :)

  • I initially worked on its design and I must assure you people that it will be liked by all. We were also planning to incorporate morphing technology but that somehow didn't materialize.
