Nokia 6.1 - User Reviews

  • soak in the water till one the device..

  • I have this cellphone for a year now, I'm very happy with it, is fast, strong case, I've dropped it a few times no problems neither scratches although i have always kept it with a EMF protector and a screen protector as well, also it doesn't come with any Nokia app, that makes it better when it comes to the use of storage. I spend long periods of time using it for work, study, and entertainment purposes, the battery last long. The only negative thing to say in "my experience using it like I do" is that it gets hot when I use it charging playing "only some games", but that happens to me with every phone I had, I do NOT recommend to use any phone charging. Nothing more to say than I like this phone, I recommend it, good quality phone for its price.

  • Very good mid range phone. Have been using close to two years without ANY problems. Android One is a solid build for this Nokia. Security updates always downloadable.

  • I have been using this phone for past 1year 1 month super phone with no lags and no issues. Good phone by Nokia.

  • Please never purchase this mobile if you search, many of them have stuck Download Mode, and Nokia service is not responsible. You lose your money and your time

  • I agreed, this phone od excellent!

  • Yes I believe it will be getting the Android 10 update

  • What Nokia 6.1 have update andriod.10 ?

  • Dropped it from 15 meters while climbing, it fell to the ground bounced off a rock and landed screen first. Few scratches apart, no damage at all and it works like on the day I bought it. Nokia 3310 would be proud. Would heartfully recommend.

  • After system update in my nokia 6.1 plus,my mobile networks stopped working.. anyone else facing this issue?

  • I am using this phone for last 2 months. This is a good phone. But the drawback is with the sim card tray. Can't use 2 sim and SD card at same time. Otherwise it's a nice model I love Nokia

  • Excellent Phone, I have my 6.1 for 1 year and 2 months now, working fast and reliable, self-update via an android one, also premium feel phone (aluminum-carbon) with a mid price. Nokia is back on track hard.

  • very good phone once you upgrade to the Android One. easy to do that since it is just a click on settings-system update !!

  • Me too with Nokia 7.2 or atleast 6.2.

  • I have been using this phone since last 1 year, honestly, i have not face any issues yet. But still I am planning to replace this with Nokia 8.1

  • Really bad experience with this phone, broke twice the earpiece.

  • If you have a laptop or any kind of computer connected to the internet contact online the HMD NOKIA technical support and tell them everything and ask them for help please.

  • I bought this phone 3 weeks ago, it worked fine the whole time, the only small thing that I noticed was the screen had a yellowish tint. That was until yesterday when I received a message and while I looked at a photo my phone froze and did not respond. The screen turned off after a while and now my phone doesn't respond at all, it's like there is not a battery inside. The battery was at 78% when it happened. I tried the following: to reset the phone (power button plus volume up for 20 seconds), removed the SD card and I tried to charge it. Can anybody please help me? I don't know what to try next and I really like this phone!

  • 10 months using this phone by now. And everyday it works smooth and powerful. I didn't expected SO much since I paid less than 200USD and was coming from a noble iphone 6. But now I cant wait to move to the new 'pure view' with 5 zeiss lenses! If possible, I would give it 5 of 5: - for general quality - for its beatiful design - for wonderful photos it gives everyday - for its noble battery (with fast charge and long lasting) - for keeping UPDATING on a regular basis 🙌 Waaaay recomended! 👍✨

  • i both the Nokia 6.1 but it take time 1 hour to charge 50%. it did not support qc3. what can i do with give me suggestions?

  • Great Phone no complains just a few minor things i wish i could change like selected recent contacts instead of deleting all I have the USA version with 3GB of Ram, it runs PUBG ok and damn the phone is TOUGH nokia is right (Built like a TANK) I look forward to a 6.2

  • I already have tried changing the channels to 36, 40, 44 & 48 but the same result. Weird enough that my Nokia 5.1 plus is showing both the 2.4 & 5Ghz. And I also can't find an option to enable it on phone either.

  • Update: Just this weekend call speaker (one which only used during calls when you put phone to your ear (ah, maybe earpiece its called)) Started to sound TINY, and distorted to level where you cant understand what other person are saying. Thought I will give to service it on Monday, but I tried one thing... Puted my Lips around earpiece, and tried to VACUMATE air. And that helped( at least now). Maybe membrane was pushed IN and caused distortion. Hope so.

  • Seems it doesn't support the aggregation (as Cat. 4 should).

  • Try to change the channel to lower number (eg 36). I have tried to connect to LOTS of 5G APs without any problem, though.

  • how do i resolve download mode

  • My Nokia 6.1 is not recognizing the 5GHz wifi band, though my router is dual band supported and they both are turned on. My phone only recognizes the 2.4GHz band. Any solutions... Also after the recent update, ram management got worse.

  • Have this phone since 2018 October. Few Cons with Phone, in timeline order I issued problems. 1. Camera setup on default app? Are You kidding me? such big resolution drop when picking 16:9 format? 2. Bulky and wide even without covers or sticker on it... 3. Messege that device temperature to high while i were charging phone and watching youtube. Saw that only once, maybe updates fixed that. 4. Lighter spot on screen, May be from drop or something that damaged some pixels? 5. 3gb variant ram management is bad. You cant hold 3 apps opened at same time, 2 at most, even light ones. But mostly i do not need that. 6. week ago from phone back LOGO Letters came off. K and I. underneath is milled surface which also anodized, so it wont look so bad after I removed rest. They were just glued. But problem is in letters places itself. there is holes under logo. In every letter one hole. Tried to check hole surface with needle, and that were soft. looks like its battery itself. So it means any humidity can enter inside more easily. Otherwise its solid mobile. if it will hold at least 2 years or more, without major faults, it will be good phone.

  • Yes it does have hardware support for 4G I'm using it right now when I am not connected toWiFi.

  • Is this phone lte a?

  • Got August security patch for my phone in India. I am very glad a year old phone is getting security updates on time. Even my other recent buy Samsung Galaxy A50 didn't get timely updates. Touch feel also very good in this phone. I can surely say that it's very smooth and sensitive when compare to Galaxy A50. I feel it's a good device from Nokia and build is very sturdy and didn't get any crack even it was fall from 5 foot. I am not that much confident for my A50

  • I purchased it last April 2019 Android 8.0 but upgrade6 to the July 2019 patch

  • Yes this phone have cast screen

  • how do i block calls in nokia 6.1.. any way can the calls be blocked but still ringning for the caller??? any option in phone which always gives a pre-set voice msg like: the caller is busy, no network coverage, phone is switched off etc.. iam asking this because i call my subordinates regard to work.. i always get these above msgs even in day time with in city

  • Sometimes loudspeaker gives less sound

  • Bro what do you mean

  • While listening music my 6.1 laudspeaker produce poor sound .i tested test menu it showed speaker is good , please tell me what should i do

  • if your issue is overheating when playing games? i suggest dont ever play with the audio out loud. use headphones, or else your phone will burn. but even tho it overheats i never found any issue after. and man this phone is a brick, you'd get your toes hurt when you drop it but it will not break. been with it for months and love it. always playing games with it. dont expect it to be so smooth, its just a midrange phone, but you will manage to play games with it. camera is average..

  • Did you say 10hrs? As a matter of fact am using mine to type this message. And it barely goes 6hrs

  • mobile camera is so bad

  • no 4G+. thumb down.

  • Google charge bar no need in below. I want .... I can shift any place

  • Please I want this... Next update navigation key must be can shift. As like as Huawei. I want back key at Wright side.

  • Definitely Nokia

  • I agree with you I've used the phone for 6 months and no issue so far

  • So far it's the best phone I've used some may complain about the processor but I've played games that previously lag on my other device and it works perfectly on my Nokia 6.1 the only thing that bother me is the battery it's good it can last for an entire day but it would have been better to have a 3500 mah battery apart from that it's a good quality phone at a correct price. Thanks to Nokia.

  • Does it support an OTG usb ?

  • Can I watch the videos I have on this phone, directly on TV? as if streaming

  • With continuous browsing my Nokia 6.1 lasts nearly an hour more than LG V30+. The V30+ has bigger 18:9 QuadHD screen which consumes more battery and lasts for approx 9 hours of browsing. Whereas my Nokia 6.1 has a smaller 16:9 FullHD screen and provides approx 10 hours of browsing. My Nokia 7 Plus is the champ here and outlasts both of them with approx 11 hours of continuous browsing time.

  • tell me about your android version when you buy it, which version was stock on your device? do u update it to now & which version u use now?

  • Since April 2019, my nokia 6.1 with 4gb ram works like a charm. No problem with the software. I just love it. Choose Nokia. The best in quality and built.

  • Compared to the lg v30. How long do you think both will last on continue browsing?

  • Worst phone I've ever owned. WAY more fragile than advertised, never worked well from the beginning -- laggy, crashing and continually got worse until now it's just a brick.

  • to those who had a complaint with this phone, what manufacturing country this phone came from

  • does it lag with MOBA games?

  • Volume up and power button at the same timw

  • i haven't received the june update can anyone help me

  • I have nokia 6.1 and play some games on this. I do not push it and play intensive games knowing Snapdragon 630 is not the best. I've played FIFA 19 which is the biggest game. It loads significantly slower than my iPad pro (as expected) and may frustrate some due to the slow loading time. Playing the matches and game is still fine. No lags. As of heating issue, it doesn't get very warm, only slightly. It is not a problem from my point of view. Battery on gaming is decent. I can probably pay FIFA 19 for 2-4 hours before it dies. I don't do this however as this may affect the battery. As for general phone, camera is okay (recommend to download google camera apk), slightly slow vs flagship (switching between apps, it takes some time for the RAM to load the page), decent battery which can get you through 80% of the day (conserving battery my be needed).

  • Will this device work with fido network in Canada required - 700 MHz on Band 17; 1700/2100 MHz on Band 4; 2600 MHz on Band 7. TA 1068 3 32gb Version

  • Looks like something is wrong with your phone ! Not an expected behavior. Return it if you can or take it to the service center.

  • Never happens on my Nokia 6.1. Mine is 4GB variant though.

  • I just bought it 3days Ago I've Notice that when I didn't use it for approximately 3 to 4 hours. It turns off automatically. When I am checking it using the unlock button it will start again or turn on. Is this a defect or I need to change settings?

  • I just charge my nokia 6. 1 then after that I can't turn on the device what should I do?

  • I've regretted buying this phone. It's been only 3 months since I got one I've been struggling with download mode issues. It's rested to factory setting anytime it's has to be worked on. Why face😠

  • I've heard this question somewhere else... don't know why some users experience the "temp. issue". My experience with 6.1 is way fine: been using it since december and NEVER have noted any temp. elevation. Everything works fine. I know it's not the better of all smarties but for me -that don't need stereo speakers or front flash or water resistance- it perfectly fine. I may recommend the 6.1 to anyone!

  • i'm using Model TA-1043 (3GB) over the year now. face no hardware issue on this mobile. works fine with every way. but pie has no option for move apps to memory card so that troubles you.

  • I hv also bought it now ... Does it heat up while up ?

  • Best phone ever, WiFi excellent very fast, love it

  • Just bought it from flipkart on sale at 7K. The premium looks and packed performance at such price is a steal. I haven't noticed any heating issue yet but if there is still worth it.

  • Just love the 6point1. U have to use poco launcher, downlod gcam and ur phone will be powerful...

  • Thanks, appreciate the detailed response.

  • Just want to highlight some concerns that I am facing while using Nokia 6.1, 4 GB RAM variant: 1) WiFi network issue. I have nearly ten smartphones all connected to my home network and none of them have any wifi network issue. But 6.1 have issues after Pie update. This issue is widespread and many have reported the same in Nokia community forums. It seems like the phone will work in some networks and not in other networks. I have tried to connect my Nokia is seven different WiFi networks in different places and it properly worked in only two places. So there is a high chance WiFi network issues may occur if you buy the phone. 2) The phone comes with a yesteryear's 5.5 inch display with 16:9 ratio. Unfortunately Android One Pie is highly optimized for newer taller displays having 18:9 ratio or even higher. Thus Pie on 6.1 by default results in a half screen full of app icons, search bar & navigation buttons which unfortunately you cannot change or remove. Now let me elaborate. With Pie, Nokia removed their own gesture controls and now uses the one that comes with Pie. Normally when you use gestures for navigation you do it for two reasons: a) Ease of use b) To free up space in the display taken up by navigation keys. With Pie gesture controls you will get neither of them. The gesture button will take a slab of screen real state at the bottom. And to add to the insult you cannot remove the Google search bar anymore from home screen ends up with two slabs of screen real state unnecessary taken away from you. Finally the home app icons will take up another stack resulting in a home screen which by default will consume half the screen and you can do nothing about it in a 16:9 ratio display of Nokia 6.1. Also you have google time & weather controls in the middle of the screen. However this does not appear as crammed on Nokia 7 Plus as it uses a much taller 18:9 display. I hate this. Pushing wallpapers in home screen is useless.

  • @solika nokia is better. Nokia 6.1 is great phone overall. I had nokia 7 plus, now i have nokia 6.1 version 3/32gb and i recommend this phone. Great mid-range phone, who has few features like premium phones. Just try it

  • thanks

  • I own a Nokia 6.1 (Blue/Gold edition) with 4GB RAM & 64 GB internal storage. I recently purchased this phone two weeks back from Flipkart @ INR 9K after CC discounts. Phone is excellent but has WiFi network issues after Pie update. Will not work with some wifi networks as it does not work with my home network. However it works with my Airtel Hotspot WiFi dongle which is strange. There are over 100 post in Nokia forums regarding this. I have no idea of the 3 GB RAM edition but have heard issues with ram management after Pie update. I believe this is the reason why Nokia is selling all their 3GB RAM variant models dirt cheap. You can have the 6.1, 3 GB RAM variant at just INR 7K. Supplied wall charger is Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 certified. It is a 18 watts charger with below ratings: 12V x 1.5A = 18 watts 9V x 2A = 18 watts 5V x 2A = 10 watts For those who wanted to know about Nokia 6.1 fast charging capabilities, I have performed the below charging speed test with my phone turned off and battery percentage to 0%. Battery (Typical Capacity) -> 3,060 mAh Battery (Rated Capacity) -> 3,000 mAh 0 to 20% -> 612 mAh -> 15 mins 0 to 25% -> 765 mAh -> 18 mins 0 to 40% -> 1224 mAh -> 30 mins 0 to 50% -> 1530 mAh -> 39 mins 0 to 58% -> 1775 mAh -> 45 mins 0 to 70% -> 2142 mAh -> 57 mins 0 to 72% -> 2203 mAh -> 60 mins 0 to 75% -> 2295 mAh -> 63 mins -> 1 hr 3 mins 0 to 80% -> 2448 mAh -> 69 mins -> 1 hr 9 mins 0 to 85% -> 2601 mAh -> 75 mins -> 1 hr 15 mins 0 to 88% -> 2693 mAh -> 80 mins -> 1 hr 20 mins 0 to 90% -> 2754 mAh -> 83 mins -> 1 hr 23 mins 0 to 93% -> 2846 mAh -> 90 mins -> 1 hr 30 mins 0 to 95% -> 2907 mAh -> 90 mins -> 1 hr 34 mins 0 to 100% -> 3060 mAh -> 102 mins -> 1 hr 51 mins In the end I will say, Nokia 6.1 does support fast charging but my LG V30+ which is also QC3 certified is even faster. But then V30+ is flagship product and should not be compared with Nokia.

  • 50% in 30 mins

  • I don't use camera that much should I get this for 7k how fast is fast charging is

  • does the battery can stand for 1 day with games? does the phone heating fast?

  • After a substantial price cut I'm considering buying it for a friend. Few questions: Battery charging percentage in first 30 minutes and from 0 to 100. Is camera really bad in indoor/low light? Heating or any other issues? Thanks

  • The battery life is fine, I dont understand the bad comments on this. The phone's hardware quality is excellent, the android version is too (updates as soon as google releases them). Very happy with this phone, would buy for my daughters next time they need phones (instead of second-hand iphones like I did previously even though I got those for cheap at a great quality).

  • Android Q is coming for this model?

  • This is the worste battery life I have seen in a phone

  • I have been using the phone for months and the only drawback is the battery life. It barely goes 5hrs on web browsing.

  • Thanks was going to buy , ive heard nokia screens little fragile!!

  • I am using the Nokia 6.1 and it received android 9 pie and it is running smoothly without any issues.battery lasts for more than a day and all those complaining they just bought maybe those refurbished phones not a brand new one so far I have no issues with mine.i love this beast of a phone in aluminium 6000 series and a Corning gorilla Glass 3.we salute the finish company for bringing back the name that dominated the phone industry for over 2 decades.

  • hello guys. huawei p smart 2019 or nokia 6.1 ?

  • I have nokia 6 and nokia 6.1 both mobile after update android pie camera quality very poor, in my nokia 6.1 no audio record in basic camera app when i am recording the video. Another camera app perfect working. What i do?

  • After android pie update No audio record with basic camera app in Nokia 6.1. I have another app installe camera app record audio well. Any one tell me.

  • Stunning phone that looks and feels much more expensive than it is, how ever the build quality is just not capable of handling daily use. I had my last phone (S4) for almost 5 years and had no issues, yet I've now cracked the screen on this Nokia 6.1. You are better off finding a less pretty phone that won't break, though I doubt I'll ever find a phone that looks and feels this good again.

  • I have Nokia 6.1 (3/32 - Black) and my opinion is: - very beautiful design. - i like camera quality, i think is very good. - android 9 is smooth without any lag. - battery life is very good for me (i never play games with phones). and i love my nokia 6.1 (my previous was Lumia 830)

  • I'm using Nokia 6.1, having problem with it tends to stack it's embaracing

  • I used nokia 6.1 and its otg capable. Its the Android one edition. I read my files with the used of usb otg cable.

  • I regret updating it to Pie. Screen and battery gets enormously hot when while browsing facebook stuff or just playing simple graphic games. The build quality is good but the software is terrible. File manager can't even read an mp4 file. Had to download a codec player just to open that file. Very poor rating for this phone.

  • I am using LG G8 now but before that I used Nokia 6.1 which now I gave to my daughter and liie me she is also satisfied with the Nokia 6.1. I recommend this phone, good updates and good software. No gimmicks just a solid sturdy phone for a decwnt price.

  • Otg not supported.and image resolution not perfect for uploading any gov site

  • Nokia 6.1 otg not supported.

  • dude, Nokia 6.1 all the way. Y9 in not good compared to 6.1 Nokia 6.1 is built like a tank. Have had it for 7 months now

  • Nokia 6.1 or Huawei Y9 (2019)?

  • Call regarding options?

  • The swipe up feature has to be enabled, at least this is how it was on my phone.

  • I have the nokia 6.1 and a friend also wanted this device and they went ahead to purchase it. Strangely their phone isn't android one like mine. It just displays powered by android and the nokia logo and doesn't have the swipe up gesture. When it comes to performance the phone works just fine but we're not sure its the legit nokia device. Is anyone else's device is like this or is it a fake version so we can return it

  • return your phone were you bought it..

  • After the update, the phone is running even better.

  • You probably got a counterfeit or clone.Nokia 6.1 never gets hot.only when charging and even then not very hot

  • The best phone and its cheap.has great build quality, battery lasts the whole day, charges very fast mine does 50% in 30 minutes, never gets hot, software is amazing with regular updates, camera is good but not the best, screen is bright. Only wish it had an infinity display

  • That must be a bad unit you got. Mine is working fine without those issues. Return it to where you buy it... I supposed it's still under warranty.

  • bought this phone as a friend said that nokia was the best. sadly it is rather a waste of good money. screen gets enormous hot , screen gets dark and with stripes and since 2 days the screen doesn't respond on any touching. so the phone is actually useless as one can't acces. was my first of nokia and will be the last! did mail them , pm them on facebook and even tried to call.... never got any response , customer care is non nexcisting

  • Yes it does. It works. I have tried it with one app. I used the app to read data from a smart card which used for public transportation.

  • I have been using the Nokia 6.1 and I upgraded it to 9 pie and battery life has much improved I go the whole day with just a single charge and it's a beautiful phone

  • yes....

  • Does this phone really have NFC function?

  • This is a good phone for normal user. Casual games, net surfing ,few phone calls and social networking.... battery will last for a day without any issues. For better camera get Google camera APK.. budget alrounder if you are against notch phones

  • Are you saying that if I upgrade to the pie,the battery will be better?

  • So apparently, this is on sale here in our country for about $150. Should I go with this?

  • For me 18 hours on average

  • I have a question. Suppose your internet usage (mobile internet and WiFi) is reasonably heavy, how long does the battery last. Any average?

  • Now phone warm up & battery draining faster.... after February security update.

  • The store keeper created so much hype and I chose Nokia 6.1. I was using Huawei Honor before. Nokia 6.1- major problem is first call never gets connected every day. Phone isn't able to receive signals properly. Mobile hangs up often and often- if you want something urgent, phoenix doesn't work. Battery backup, picture clarity isn't that great. Overall 1* rating for this mobile. Don't buy it

  • Since I bought the phone, when I receive a call, the phone didn't ring out and when I play a video, I don't hear any volume. And the volume has been set properly. Any advice?

  • Pie update is ok. But prior major updates you'd better to read whatsnew. You should set all securtiy settings again. I.e. app permissions, Bluetooth pairings etc. After these your phone will work again. Before these not...

  • at 29 hours , battery level - 30% faster, better after android pie update no problems so far

  • I just got a Moto G6 and the cell signal reception is horrible at my house. My wife had a IPhone 5 and has no problem. One person recommended a Samsung A6 and I am looking at the Nokia 6.1, Can anyone tell me what how well this phone works in weak signal areas? I'm on AT&T in the US.

  • May be but i really update my mobile to pie then my mobile was stuck so i claim warranty and downgrade to Android 8.0.

  • After update to pie wifi always dropping.. Very bad

  • Great screen, even better battery life, quality sound, feels rock solid, fast. The only thing I miss after HTC10 is the camera, was it so expensive to add optical image stabilization? Had to been a political move not to compete with other phones in the line. Not classy Nokia or whoever you are now.

  • After 24 hours since the last charge, I am at 37%. So in my user experience I have got over 24 hours from this device.

  • I am now at 19 hours since the last charge and am at 54%.

  • That's my experience. I charge it after 24 hrs. Right now it's 6 hours since my last charge and I have 78%. Will charge again tomorrow that's 18 hours from now. Different people might have different results though.

  • Am using it. Quite a nice phone. But 24 hrs battery? How so?

  • yes, I am agreed, this is sofisticated, nice smartphone, not for geeks obsessed with gaming and apps..

  • there was no ways to downgrade... if you try to downgrade, mobile must to be hard bricked or totally dead

  • I have been using this Phone since November 2018. My user review is as follows; 1. Design The design is hardy and durable. I have the blue version and the quality is really solid and sturdy. The edges have the gold accents and I decided to use a clear cover. It looks great. 2. Connectivity All connectivity options work very well. No lags and no loosing the network when using LTE. The bluetooth works great and the WiFi is really strong and keeps the signal. 3. Display The display is really bright even under direct sunlight. I can grey it out thanks to digital well being by google. It has the ability to turn the screen on momentarily when i lift the handset and this is really cool. The screen is also tough with GG3 and no cracks yet! The AR is 16:9, really wish nokia trimmed the bezels and used 18:9 or 19:9 ration. 4. CPU, RAM, HDD The SD630 run well and everyday tasks are a breeze. I noticed mini-more lags here and there depending on the apps I am running. I have the 32GB, 3GB RAM variant. I ran Geekbench 4 and the scores were, SCS 869 and MCS 4130. This is in the midrange definately. 5. FP sensor The fingerprint is fast once you trace it! The elongated design at the back makes you land on the zeiss branding while looking for the FP sensor. Do not be in a rush also when trying to unlock the device, you will get alot of notifications that you were too fast. When you place you finger right, it is quite snappy. 6. The cameras The back camera is good and renders the photos well. I think the zeiss branded lens helps alot. This is for photos in the daylight. Once it is dark, do not expect much because this device is not able to handle low light photos well. The selfie camera is alright for this midranger. Nokia have the dual shot where you can actually use the back and front cameras simultaneously for both stills and video! It is really cool. 4k videos, i really dont use this often, i want to use HD so that I get all my stuff backed up on google cloud photos. 7. Battery The 3000Mah battery is good. I am able to get at least 24 hours out of it. I remain connected on WiFi all day. I play some games occasionally and do a lot of phone calls. I am keen to charge my device only once a day and so I have actually confirmed the above for me. I think the Pie update is really using AI for battery and it is working. 8. OS I bought this device with android Oreo, then i got the update sometime in December for Pie. The device is running really well. I like the new UI in Pie where I can use the single navigation button. It is a breeze working with this. It is an android one device so we get 2 years of updates at least. Waiting for android Q already! I have been getting monthly updates sometime around mid-month. 9. Price Point This is hard to comment on. I think Nokia could have competitively priced this device. I got mine in Nairobi for about $205. There are other devices at this price point which are great performers using a better SOC like SD636 etc. In fact for $170 you get some offerings from Xiaomi and other brands which are competitive. But of course this is an android one device and you get software updates which are rare at this price point. 10. Summary The Nokia 6.1 2018 is a good device for those who are nostalgic Nokia fans and even new comers. It has a capable processor for everyday tasks, a good camera that will keep those precious memories captured and stored. The battery life is good, overall this is a beautiful and sturdy device. If you are a geek obsessed with performance and heavy gaming, then this is not your device.

  • I already faced this problem no response like death but i called my number call was going so i contact my mobile care warranty claim they downgrade to Android 8.1. Now its fine work and the person advice me do not upgrade mobile.

  • How can i downgrade, i just used my phone a few minutes and its dead, it cant respond to hard start ):

  • Android pie not mature for this device, downgrade to Android 8.1.

  • It’s very bad only 3days I used the display gone

  • perfect device, everything is great,,

  • does this phone have a notification led & can you set up different user accounts & with different apps & have it locked with a different fingerprint? thanks

  • Someone with a name like this, is indeed a person, I can trust.

  • When Android One launched in 2014, it was focused on entry-level devices for developing markets, but it's now expanded far beyond that. Google realized some people valued a pure/clean Android experience, so Android One is now just Google's clean Android platform with frequent updates. Flagship devices like the Nokia 8.1 even have Android One.

  • The Android Pie update made this phone great. When I bought it with Android Oreo, there were frequent lags and stutters. Now it's fast, it's stable, the screen looks good, the fingerprint reader works well, it's physically tough, it has fast charging, the software stays up to date. There are things that would be nice to have, like an unlocked bootloader, waterproofing, stereo speakers, longer battery life, more RAM for future proofing. But this phone does everything I need right now and does it well, for less cost than a Pixel.

  • The reason for the poor English is because the Nokia 6.1 is an Android One device and Android One devices are intended for developing nations. and (spoiler alert) most people in developing nations don't have the best English skills. Instead of bashing the poor English of people, you should go do something productive.

  • I am using nokia 6.1 on pie and not a single issue working awesome

  • Network connectivity too poor, after update pie.

  • It is not true....i have been using this mobile on pie and it is working awesome.

  • Games starts to open quite slow after the pie update...

  • Hard reset your phone and all will be ok.

  • I had faced many problem after upgrade Android pie my phone was stuck no response then i claim warranty my device downgrade to oreo 8.0 after downgrade my mobile is work properly and person advice me do not upgrade device specially Android pie. Many nokia devices facing problem, nokia devices best i think Android pie not mature for this device and need to work this OS specially nokia devices.

  • Neend to work Android pie for nokia 6.1 device.

  • "Application crashing after updating the phone to androy 9 pie. Just bought it one week ago" What Application. If you use a very old application don't work on pie. Some applications and games don't work.

  • the phone is ok but be warned: i came from a google pixel 1, but it died so i had to buy this, big mistake, if you live in USA go for refurb pixels, they are a lottery, mine was crap. ok the nokia 6.1: locked bootloader, if you want to unlock you must pay 5$ to some website for the codes, but after pie upgrade, nokia locked the bootloader even more, now you have to downgrade and pay even more, it is a pain to root this thing, a nightmare, even recover the system is hell, compared to motorola and pixels with system images freely available and unlocked bootloaders. android 9 is ok, but it is not the same as google 9 on the pixels, there are some features not present here, also there are bugs, and nokia task manager kills apps like crazy to mantain battery, this is not bad if they let you config 3.5 jack is annoying placed, you headphone will disconnect a lot vol and power buttons are inversed vs almost any other phone, very annoying but asides from that, the phone is decent

  • Same problem

  • Application crashing after updating the phone to androy 9 pie. Just bought it one week ago

  • Very Good cellphone the camera is very Good even in the low light area deserve the amount No problems with this phone Android Pie works smoothly

  • call recorder is removed in android pie update due to google policy

  • Totally worst phone 6.1 and Nokia care never support consumer we are purchase 6.1 june-18 Jabalpur after 4 months mice problems camera both of problems. any complaint care person saying water damage problem. I am really so sorry Nokia my money is total spoiled.

  • Call Record not work in my Nokia 6.1 pleas anybody tell me what i do..?

  • interesting

  • Its awsome and fantablus bro....

  • Net signal strength is very poor comparatively Nokia 5.1

  • its a good phone overall nice phone in cheap price my phone is almost full in space but it never lags i think because of its processor which is Snapdragon 630 (14 nm)

  • In my honest opinion, Nokia 6.1 is best decision among all. It is a phone which would be most durable and beautiful phone.

  • Please, add game mode. Loving it....

  • Yeah they rushing to get $$$$$$ , I no liked any tried so far. In a year be stuffed

  • I've had the Nokia 6.1 for two weeks and have not had a single problem. Everything works very well, it's fast, charges quickly, lasts two to three days per charge, depending on use, pictures look great. I'm enjoying Android 9 and Android One. I'm very happy with this phone!

  • Had this phone for seven months now (TA-1043 Dual SIM sub-model). Stay away from Nokia. Their software is horrible, even though it's "Android One": lags, freezes and app hangs are our daily bread. Camera software issues are through the roof. Multiple users' complaints - and HMD just don't care. They are too busy rushing out the next model... But sending out phones that are half baked like the 6.1. Beware.

  • Nokia 6.1 mobile is good. but its beauti camera is very bed. its take more time to capture picture. and its picture is also not clear.

  • the j6 has a slower performance,my friend bought a j6 a week ago and it started lagging now i think the nokia is the real decision

  • Between this and the Nokia 6.1, the X5 and the X6, which is advisable as a good buy? Please state your reason too so I can make a good decision, thanks for your anticipated response.

  • Hello, guys. What do you recommend Nokia 6.1 or Samsung galaxy j6,given that they cost the same price?

  • Dear... U need to try Google Camera app.. it surprisingly enhances the picture quality... I used it and I am very much satisfied now..

  • Great all rounder, solid like a rock, classic design. Android Pie working just fine

  • Buy Nokia 7 plus and enyoj :)

  • the sound quality is very poor almost to the point of being pathetic. The head phones have even less sound quality..

  • After long time i back to NOKIA Nokia 6.1 is amazing phone every thing is fine

  • I'm using this phone since 3 months after updating to 9 pie' it's touch is good to use no lag camera is poor to low light rest everything ok. It's a phone for midrangers.

  • i took my phone from service ...and my problem is.... keep it or sell it and buy xiaomi note 6 pro?

  • looks like a facebook problem, not the Phone it self.

  • Hi thr, Actually my fone is new and jst bought it.. i installed the apps..my fb is not working it doesnt login my account don knw y?? Any idea plz help

  • Hi, Have Nokia 6.1 dual sim. Android Pie. I know for 100% sure that in settings was option "increase volume when Phone is in pocket". I can't turn it off.. its enough to cover only sensor. Any idea how to turn it off?? I wanna use a flip cover. Thanks! Michal

  • What did you do? I gave to the shop and take my money What is the soluation for this problem

  • exactly the same it happened to me

  • Yesterday when mobile charging the device heat was raised then the mobile turned off and not working again What is the problem! ?

  • i bought before 2 weeks nokia 6.1 and yesterday night turned it of with battery 70%....there is no way to turn it on

  • i bought before 2 weeks nokia 6.1 and yesterday night turned it of with battery 70%....there is no way to turn it on

  • i bought before 2 weeks nokia 6.1 and yesterday night turned it of with battery 70%....there is no way to turn it on

  • Battery was always good on thi device, i do not understand your claim, after the Pie update battery got at least a 10% better.

  • Are you sure?

  • What about the battery life?

  • My Advice is if you are a heavy user, This isn't suitable for you. Because everything is ok rather than battery life.

  • If you are a heavy user this isn't suitable for you.... Because Everything is ok but the battery is draining. But other features are good for this price range

  • I want someone that has used this phone for at least a few months or a year to tell me if this is safe to buy for long term use. I want to play heavy games like PUBG, Asphalt 9 on it, so will it be able to handle the graphics? Are its built quality & screen good?

  • not worth it imo, my TA-1050 Nokia 6.1 Black Copper is entirely useless now. my speaker blew on the third week of having the phone. i cannot take or make calls as I cannot hear sound and neither can the person on the receiving end, they dont hear me. I'm getting a refund hopefully and buying a Nokia 7.1 Midnight Blue. im pretty sure my speaker issue is an isolated issue, cannot find anything about anyone else experiencing it.

  • I'm waiting for Nokia 6.2, hope they will stick to metal unibody design ( "BUILT LIKE A TANK"). Glass back(why?, if there is no wireless charging) is crap - fragile, slippery and fingerprint magnet. Nokia 5.1 plus, 6.1 plus, 7.1 and 8.1 all have glass back. People who buy these phones are most likely to use a CASE (so, why bother making glass back phones)

  • My Nokia 6.1 bought few months ago is giving speaker and other problems. Recently not able to restart after charging the battery. when shown it in service centre they are saying no warranty and you have to pay for repairs which is due to water inside which is not true. I think it is not value for money.

  • Factory reset. This device after pie update, is almost a flagship.

  • No

  • Yes bro also I'm filling same problem

  • Man really good I could not believe that this phone can handle this game at hidg graphics

  • How is it in games like PUBG at max graphics?

  • My Nokia 6.1 freezes and cant be restarted or turned off. What can i do?

  • I make it fast: you are not serious, right? Cause the conparison between this device and that crapp would take about 2 seconds. This one has everything better. There you go.

  • I spend on average 1-1,5 hour every day restoring WiFi connection. If i come back to home, the wifi won't restore. It's mostly with x mark on wifi icon with DHCP. With static IP, it tells me there is very good WiFi connection, but it won't load any page, i had my phone on top of wifi rooter for 1 hour, and it can't connect. I disabled all power saving features and still nothing.

  • Hi, could you help me finding the FCC Id for this Nokia 6.1?

  • Also the snapdragon 630 is slightly better than the 625.... Even if hadrly noticeble

  • Thank you!

  • This one is better! Nokia has: FHD screen Better camera (zeiss optics 16MP) Moto has: better batery life

  • Between this smartphone and Motorola One, which is better? Thank you!

  • Hello. Between this phone and P smart, wich is better?

  • Not properly satisfied with Android pie....i will go to Oreo... Can i get next all update at oreo.... foolish update from Google.

  • Just got my 6.1 yesterday. Power on, run system update (OTA Pie), factory reset and that should do it. Seems quick and smooth. I'll get used to Pie.. probably. Some hiccups when setting up my 4G network, the operator just sent a SMS telling they couldn't figure out the correct auto settings so I had to do it manually by myself instead of just receiving and saving a setup SMS as it usually goes. Everything is fine, except that there seems to be no way of getting rid of the search bar in the home screen. Went around by installing Nova. So far so good.

  • Look better, that phone is not a nokia you have, it is your imagination.

  • I own the nokia 6.1 for 6 months it suck's feezes alot and some times it won't turn on or off now the bloody thing has a cracked screen pissed me of

  • mirror link supoort????

  • Mobile hanging very frequently....even with default factory application s.. terrible..not really value for money

  • Can you move stuff to your SD card? I have a 16gb in and it doesnt give me an option to move stuff. 66% of my phones internal storage is being used.

  • I mean, does have a notification light?

  • How did you remove google search bar on home screen?

  • Turn off the automatic sync. Your battery life will increase. My battery life is now nearly 9 hours. Unbelievable...!!!

  • No LED Light. It has an ambient display.

  • While you are having a conversation press volume up button. Also check your phone speaker for dust.

  • How long are you using Pie update? Adaptive battery feature need some time to adjust for your profile, if problem persists try to factory reset and recalibrate battery. Also to answer question below, this phone has no LED indicators/notifications.

  • is this phone has a led light?

  • in android 9 pie update i am have problem on imo calls on head phone, i cant hear the incoming voice it is very low. give me solution.

  • After upgrading to android pie battery is draining to fast...

  • face unlock

  • Hello everyone! For those who updated their phones to Android 9 (Pie) and facing issues, kindly restart your phone this way: Turn it off, wait for at least 30 seconds, and then power it back on (you may do so with other Nokia Android One phones). If issues persist, you might want to factory reset your phone. Make sure you back up all your data first. Also make sure your Adaptive Battery is On (Settings > Battery > Adaptive Battery> Use Adaptive Battery - On ) (this is on Pie only)

  • How to find the download folder option in android 9?

  • Finally in Tanzania Android 9 pie is ready to Nokia 6.1 Battery life is improved Audio quality is good

  • The best battery life I've ever seen. 8 hours of screen on time with heavy usage!. Unbelievable Nokia 6.1 is the best for the price.

  • 6.1 get your type-c

  • I don't know why..... I don't like android 9 apiarence.. Google search bar, unremovable date and notification panel...☹️☹&#65039; And still I can't make new folder in apps menu. One thing is good in apiaerence when turn on power saving mode no red lines.....😶

  • How to connect TV ..tell me about wireless display

  • Pie update is now rolling for TA-1043 in europe

  • Finally update available in serbia !😃

  • Gcam mod not crashing anymore!!! and I'm in love with my Nokia 6.1

  • It is supposed to automatically delete it after update. It failed because you maybe don't have enough space on your phone. Delete some big apps if that is the case. For more questions go to forums, this is opinions section for this phone.

  • Yes you can and battery life is now very good

  • Tks for your comt, whether the battery is good after update to android 9? Could i use 4G stand by in one day ?

  • I've done everything you said and I had to accept something before installation but after 2 seconds installation failed and if I try again it will say that couldn't find the file(update file just disappeared from phone memory)...now I will just wait for the official update

  • Just place it inside your phone's internal storage, outside of all folders. That place is called root.

  • I don't have a "root" folder...

  • You don't need to dial the number, just restart the phone and it will say system update is ready, do you want to install it, just say yes and let it do it's thing.

  • If you have the right file then rename it to PL2-3260-0-00WW-B01-update.zip Place that file to root directory of internal storage and then dial *#*#874#*#*

  • How to update from XDA,I have downloaded the RAR file already but I don't know how to update so I need some help

  • Hold on the middle of the screen and press widgets then you can do it.

  • Its a bit of a boring lookn fone though.

  • Because only a few countries have got it for now. If you cannot longer wait, there is a zip file on XDA forum from where you can download it manually.

  • I have checked for update but didn't see any

  • West Africa

  • Still waiting for the Pie slice on my Nokia 6.1, I'm in South Africa and I'm wondering if it will arrive soon or maybe early January 2019

  • Updated to pie 9 in pakistan, facing battery drainage problem. previously it was fine.

  • yes hold on the app icon above the screenshot when scrolling through the apps

  • From Romania as well and still no sign of the update. Got the 1043 model. Guess we will have to wait a bit longer. But don't worry it's on its way, at least Nokia finally released it.

  • Today morning, I received and downloaded android pie on my Nokia 6.1 variant -1089, India. And yes the mobile become quite smooth, no hanging, camera problem fixed, battery backup awsm. After updating battery depleted only 18% in 2 hours with continuous web browsing and listening song via hungama music app. M impressed with android pie.

  • Downloading update pie on Nokia 6.1 TA-1043 Srilanka the

  • is Nokia fix bug camera and lagging after updated to pie?

  • In wich country?I'm from Romania and no update

  • Does the Android 9 update supports dual app feature ?

  • I haven't gotten it ! 😭

  • Got mine update of Android pie

  • Update to Android Pie (V3.260) available now and is downloading for me. but i guess there is no need for security update while we're having a brand new OS with its present security patches, or maybe the security updates will come one or two days after the pie update.

  • Just received the pie update v 3.260. With october security patch about 1.4 gb update.

  • System update available Android pie,but missing new security update...too

  • Does it support USB OTG.....?

  • Great phone, go on Nokia provide us mid-ranger sharp + powerful phones

  • Can anybody tell maximum capacity of micro SD Card it supports. M confused. Gsmarena says 256 GB and nokia website says 128 GB. Which is real. I m thinking of purchasing sandisk ultra class 10 256 GB micro SD Card.

  • Display is awesome, build quality perfect, battery is ok. The only problem is the buggy camera. It crashes too much. I'm sick of it. Nokia should fix this issue!

  • You do not even know what this device is, but complain? Funny how trolls got this days.

  • The worst mobile. Full hanging. I will never buy again nokia mobiles Android 6.1

  • I had that issue. In order to fix it you must reinstall whatsapp or reset the device. Try this google app . It will help you to improve the camera and to take better pictures than before.

  • Yes it is

  • no NFC in previous version?,so weard and stupid

  • is quick charger supplied or we need to buy separately

  • Try Google camera my Nokia 6.1 is taking good pictures now

  • i got a Nokia 6.1 but could not see the option of formatting sdcard as internal memory. How is it done on this device.?

  • Been using the phone for almost 6MOS. As an Android One device, up to date as always. Just waiting for PIE update to come before end of the month. But, camera sucks for this device. I have a bug in WHATSAPP that everytime you take picture it will hang most of the time. Any solution?

  • Using it since July yh it crashed once I had to restart it it crashed when using the inbuilt camera app I disabled it and now everything is fine!

  • I have the same problem, my NOKIA get freeze so I have to hard reset it but then my NOKIA never woke up again.. Probably hard bricked due to bug or something

  • I have mine since ~1 month now and everything is good, no lags, no nothing. The camera could be better. But everything else including the battery, is great!

  • Well there are only one and a half weeks left. So we are going to know if the update comes this month or the next month. And knowing that Android updates are phased and don't reach all consumers in the same time, I'm going to say that most users will only get the update next month. But who knows, maybe we are all going to be surprised. And I hope that happens.

  • According to Johu Sarvikas. Next. We will skip betalabs on Nokia 6.1 and roll out 🍰 soon

  • Has anyone tasted the (Android) Pie on Nokia 6.1??

  • i got a question ? which is better huawei nova 3i ,nokia 6.1 plus or oppo f9

  • +1 for Redmi 5 Plus everything is better except the processor. I recommend it! It works very fast with no lags and it has long battery life :)

  • I don't think so! I have Redmi 5 Plus and I can tell that this is one of the best budget phones! It has everything. And the price is lower! I think that MIUI is better than Androin One ;) The battery is perfect, and the phone is very fast and it hasn't got any lags :)

  • Yeah same problems are being faced by me too. Too much camera crashing. Similarly sometimes once in a week it hangs for a few minutes even though atleast 1 GB ram is always free. But overall nice device with beautiful display and build quality.

  • Please share details of gcam

  • the price difference makes the comparison a little incorrect, but nokia has everything better than xiaomi except battery life

  • Android Pie beta update is not yet available for Nokia 6.1 but is available for Nokia 6.1 plus

  • Nokia 6.1 vs redmi 5 plus? Wich is best?

  • The update is 1.25GB is size and also includes Android security patch for October 2018. Since it is a beta testing, you will have to register at the Nokia beta labs and agree to the terms and conditions. Once it is done, you will receive the update via OTP directly on your phone.

  • God knows what you are doing but mine never lags

  • Have got a new Nokia 6.1 end of last week and I am ultra happy with it. I have always had a Nokia so was keen to keep the tradition (especially since it is back to Finnish hands). The display/screen quality and battery life are excellent (2 top things for me), though admittedly I have all excess notifications/location/etc turned off. It is aesthetically absolutely perfect, though slightly bigger than my old Lumia which I also loved. I have read some comments that the apps are slow, but I don't have such issue (or have never experienced a much faster mobile).

  • What's the issues

  • Exactly the same issues here.

  • Sony xa2 or J7 pro or Nokia 6.1 ? help

  • The phone is too good but in many cases it takes a lot of time such as processing of photo after you take a shot in pro mode. Otherwise it is performing well.

  • The Nokia 6.1 is good at being a phone. The call audio quality is very good indeed. And the menus are the best on any Nokia device I have come across so far. Really easy to configure and use. And the phone certainly looks stylish and charging is quick. ---- However, the display is second-rate and the camera is just plain bullshit compared to a two year old Huawei P9 Lite. The camera lags considerably, the lens is sharp only 50% from the center, and the Pro mode is a bloody joke compared to the P9 Lite. I shall throw this piece of crap into the sea and buy a Huawei P20 instead, although it will cost me an arma and a leg. But I require a certain standard from all my devices, and all subpar crap goes out as soon as it came in.

  • I purchase the new Nokia 6.1 in July and I'm ready to throw it out the window!! It lags all the time. The Technical Team I sore in the shop today said they couldn't believe how rubbish it was considering I didn't have any games or barely any apps installed - very disappointed with it

  • does anyone know how to move apps from internal to sd card on this phone?

  • inbuilt camera has bug use gcam mod it's better than it and disable the inbuilt camera app

  • I bought is for INR 17000, and I am disappointed like hell. Whenever I think to send some photo from whatsapp only 3 to 4 pics are displayed rest 500 pics are disappeared. When I use to edit any pic in any App, again only 3 or 4 pics are displayed. Camera hangs frequently, have to again start the camera. Its been one of the most bad decisions of mine to go for NOKIA. I was die hard fan of NOKIA, but I wont recommend to anyone now. Please avoid NOKIA.

  • Well the 6.1 Plus got the beta version on Pie. Wich is strange because I was expecting them to release the full version. I just hope we will get the update before the October security update

  • They will most likely start android pie rollout during the last week of October.

  • Has anyone get the pie update. I know they said we will get the update in October, but it's almost half of the month gone and still no sign of it

  • Nokia 6.1 have OTG ?

  • 2 issue so far 1.sometimes the phone hangs just for no reason and take some time to be back. 2.camera sometimes when opened doesn't capture foto even after clicking on it and have to be reopened and after a update i got from camera it starts endless post image processing

  • NO

  • Does it have OTG? Thanks.

  • Nokia 6.1 have led notfication light ?

  • Nokia 6.1 will get android 9 pie this month (October) and it will get android Q too when it's out.

  • I don't think that it will recieve Android Pie update

  • freezing is due to bug in inbuilt camera app just disable it and everything will be fine

  • It is not Chinese Nokia, HMD Global is former employees of Nokia in Finland which is the original home of Nokia. The phones are just made in China at Foxconn like iPhones are. Just because you have an issue it doesn't make Nokia crap

  • Apparently we are going to get Android pie this month. All we can do is wait and see.

  • I think I am a Nokia fan from Day 1, but this Nokia 6.1 is the biggest disappointment of all times! The freezing is just too much! I took this phone back to the dealer twice in 3 months, every time I had to wait for 2-3 weeks for fixing! I won't recommend this to anyone!

  • can i use dual sim at same time?

  • I have to say it loud i have a sensation that the antenna in this phone is wooden because it is worst phone i used to have so far if it goes for connection with internet and most of all keeping it without loosing sorry NOKIA is dead this is just some chinesse NOKLA or some other crap far far from being called NOKIA also on top of that overheating problems my 1st phone that have that issue was acer liquid z 520 if i remember and it happened when i let it be on sun for a long time more than 15min for sure and NOKLA because that should be called after being charged from powerbank in pocked screamed that it overheat please give me my money back or better take your crap and sent me any other phone for same price

  • My nokia 6.1 does not show android one logo while it boots up what may be the reason before sep update it was showing ...plzz any one help

  • Any Android pie update information about 6.1

  • Exactly where did you buy it? Please refer to my post (above).

  • Yesterday (on October 3rd) at Best Buy I purchased a brand new Nokia 6.1 [aka Nokia 6 (2018)] for $229.99 ($244.36 including the tax). Under Best Buy's Price Match program, I have only 15 days to notify them regarding my finding a better price for this brand new Nokia item OFFERED BY ONLY: Amazon.com, BHphotovideo.com, Crutchfield.com, Dell.com, HP.com, Newegg.com, Tigerdirect.com, or at BJ's or Costo (either at their retail stores and/or on their websites) So far, today I have not yet seen anything less expensive and could use your help. Please leave your comment if you see this item offered at lower price.

  • I want to know at the same price nokia gives 5.1 plus which one is better ???

  • Bought the phone 4 weeks ago and it's superb. The feel is premium and probably the best bargain for it's $210 price tag.

  • I liked everything about this phone. I installed gcam for the camera. It's build quality is superb. But this too much freezing was simply unbearable. I made a hard reset 2,3 times. But after sometime it again started freezing. Sometimes it took 1,2 minutes to open apps or camera. It's too much.

  • Man. I just sold this phone after using it for three months. I need not to make false statements. Simply given my honest opinion what i felt while using it. That's it

  • Im tempted to buy this phone for light gaming and 64gb rom but i see some negative comments makes me to look for a better phone

  • The Camera app is taking hell lot of time to process the images. This after the September Security Patch. The Camera has become simply useless. Purchased the phone with great expectations and now I regret. I don't seem to understand why you lack so much of software optimisation. Don't you have people to test for problems and bugs.? Forget that I'm ever going to recommend your phones to anyone. Utterly dissatisfied.

  • Why does not have available black/copper and white/iron color on Philippines?

  • I find the phone to be buggy in many aspects, maybe my downgrade from one plus 3T is the reason, but still. Firstly GPS doesn't work accurately, this makes Google maps to be inconsistent. Second, the lag of keyboard pop up, this is too significant to be noticed. Music output via a headset or aux is subpar quality. This is just my second day with the phone may be I get used to it, but pretty much a compromise for the money spent, do your due diligence before buying this phone, don't just go for the notch and small size of the phone

  • You probably never had this phone. And using your xiaomi made you dizzy. Buy this phone first, then learn to use android, then cone to the comments section.

  • What is the camera sensor size of the main camera of this phone, aside from the specs that it has a 1 micron pixel size and 16 megapixel,etc...???Please answer thank you!

  • Is the issues true about this phone???!!! I really want to buy this..

  • I don't know how do you use your phone but in my opinion this phone is not even able to handle simple tasks like call or messaging. Freezes a lot like hell I'm a die hard fan of Nokia from the old days but this phone disappointed me a lot. Just sold mine and purchased Xiaomi redmi note 5 Pro. This phone is way better than this shit.

  • They are probably shelf products. I do not know, but there are a lot of this so called stores that somehow manage to aquire a good chunk of shelf products (real stores sell them even if they're not allowed?) Well, this is life. The end user is used in each and every way some see fit.

  • Nokia 7.1 has started receiving Android 9 update, I'm hoping when this device would receive it. Here's the discussion: Anyone wonder, when it will receive this update.

  • Sorry to ask again, but what is the best mid ranger for your opinion?

  • I'll definitely buy from the store, thanks for the feedback!!!

  • Thanks for the feedback! Maybe I'll buy this or the other one Nokia 7 plus... TY!!!

  • It's a good mid-range phone. It feels little too hard or uncomfortable in the hand if you want to compare it with, maybe samsung or huawei new models, but speaking about speed and functionality, it is fast, stable phone. I don't know, maybe it isn't good choice for gamers, but if you need just phone, some messenger like whatsapp, some social applications as facebook, instagram etc, this is a good choice for low price. Everything works well.

  • If you buy this phone through Amazon in Canada, be careful! I purchased one at the 'new' price and received a used phone. Of course I complained and received another used Nokia 6.1 with someone else's photos still on it. If you pay for new why don't you get new? Suggest you buy from a store. Good luck.

  • It is Gorilla Glass 3, which is very scratch resistant but does not have the same impact/crack resistance as Gorilla Glass 5. It is still tough. Any type of glass can crack with unlucky impact.

  • I'm using Moto G5 Plus right now and the phone is great no issues except late updates, should I go for Nokia 6.1?

  • Is this worth buying, it is the best mid range phone compared to other mid rangers???

  • After the camera update, is way more stable and till now, no more glitches. There are also, new feauters.

  • Me too for 1089. Mine variant is 00WW_2_22E_SP03 after september security update. But android One logo gone during start up/restart of device .

  • Me too + camera update

  • Got September security update today

  • Its not a gorilla glass, my phone slipped from less than 1 feet, and i got a few cracks on it, even xaiomi phones are a way more durable than a trusted brand like nokia. Its just a normal android phone with a good camera

  • When i bought the Nokia 6.1 in the end of June 2018 i liked the phone but there was one issue that kind of made me upset that was its laggy camera which got stuck mostly when i opened it but then later on Nokia fixed it with an update and now the camera isn't laggy at all. The speed of the phone is also quite impressive by means of its opening and closing of apps. The body built quality is superb and there may be many features that it lacks as it isn't a flagship phone but there are a lot of plus points that this phone posses as the camera review by most of the people isn't quite good but what i noticed about the camera is that its superb in the day light but its quality slimmers down as the lighting reduces. About the finger print sensor most people complaints that it stops working or it isn't working all the time, what i noticed in my phone is that it works perfectly but the reason for its not working is that it gets dirty by sweat very easily as it is at the back side of the phone and as for fingerprint sensors at the front they are mostly cleaned as most of the people clean their front of the phone more often then the back side so when it doesn't work properly simply clean it then it would work just fine. But its a great phone for its price range cuz we can't have an expectation of a flagship.

  • for those facing camera and lagging issues goto Nokia care app device manager and memory management and just turn off the app background services and force stop apps working in background! download a good camera mod and disable the inbuilt camera app! remember to clear background apps B4 running camera and to reboot the phone if it crashes for its an app made for flagship but if u get it to work ull get a flagship grade camera! I use a mod that ran on a android 8.0 Oreo since 6.1 ships with 8.0 and it just works fine!

  • So far the worst ever phone I have ever used. I did buy because of Stock Android. But the hardware is the problem with this phone. Camera bugs most of the time when I try to open the app. Phone get bugged when it's exposed to internet as it gets many messages once it's opened to the network.

  • This is -by far- the worst phone I ever had. A Waste Of Money! This is the only thing to express. Camera bugs all time, mostly does not work! phone stuck every 20 minutes. Problems? name it!

  • Latest camera update not available at....6.1..

  • I was thinking that they might ship it alongside Android pie. But that seems unlikely since not even the 7plus, wich has the beta program, didn't get it officially. There is still like one more week left of September, so yeah, I hope we will get it soon.

  • I also having that problems.....

  • 4 months old phone doesn't work fingerprint....... Now I am thinking I was a fool when buying Nokia 6.1. now I am feeling shame when compare with my friends cheap phones......

  • It has fast charging with original charger that is in the box. Awesome phone. I have read to many reviews from the users regarding the draw backs of this phone. I will say that those reviews are utterly baseless and far from truth. I have been using this phone since May. So far there are no logs at all. People talk about camera. Yes camera is not goof but i have installed google camera and the result is awesome. Nice portrait mode and 360 degree sphere picture. Camera can be downloaded from google search easily without any root. Battery lasts more than 24 hours. I normally take 3 hours calls 2 hours Facebook and 3 to 4 hours whatsapp with little YouTube on my cellular network. On WiFi it may last more than 30 hours. For me it is the best in this price range. Regular security updates. Works fine for me. Thumbs down to all negative comments.

  • Nokia 6.1 Plus charges 0 to 50% battery in its first 30 minutes. This phone has fast charging option but the provided charger is not for fast charging.

  • Hello friends, I have purchased Nokia 6.1 from flipkart in India. My mobile take 2hrs 16 minute to full charge from 0 to 100%. Is it normal. I am asking this because 40% get charged in 30 minutes than for 60% why it take so much time.I am curious to know that chraging time of my Nokia 6.1 is normal or not. Please anyone using Nokia 6.1, 32GB model comments. Mention your charging time.

  • No, don't. It's a terrible phone. The camera is garbage, the fingerprint reader doesn't work, the screen is a scratch magnet, the phone overheats almost instantly while charging and shuts down, random, persistent crashes making the phone unusable for a solid 10-15 minutes.

  • The phone freezes A LOT. Especially when you try to use the camera. I contacted customer support multiple times for help and they were extremely rude. They knew about the issue and had no solution

  • The camera is basically unusable. The phone hangs a lot when you try to turn it on. And when you finally manage to turn it on the quality is awful and it is very slow to focus and almost impossible to focus in low light.

  • This is 100% true. I'm extremely disappointed by Nokia in general. I read that the other Nokia phones have similar problems. I contacted their customer support addressing the hanging issue and they were extremely rude and unprofessional. Sold it and bought the Xiaomi a2 lite. It is way better even with the older processor.

  • Apple is also Chineese.Samsung , Sony all Made in China..ha ha ha

  • This is the worst phine I ever used. It's totally a wast of money. I have purchased this phone few months back from a reputed place and few of my friends ware also purchased on that time period. So the issues are totally common for all of us which is confirmed that this is a shit. Issues a as follws 1.most of the time you can not hear the other side person voice and vise vasa when you call some one. Very basic issue 2. Almost every time the phone get stucked when you working with the camera 3. Some times when the camera is started it not responding. You have to close it and open it agin. 4.The phone usually get stuck and not responding 5.very slow on processing and wifi signal drops alwas 6.baterry drais quicker 7. The display is not respodig most of the times for touch request. 8. Fingerprint login is not responding even if there is a small dust sparticle, always need to cleen the before swiping the finer. Totally the worst and shit phone and brand ever used in my life

  • What is the supplier of Nokia 6.1's camera sensor? Or, what do you think you are? I hope it is sony!

  • It is not mine, it is my Girlfriends, i bought it for her. Do not mind the bashing, there are probably one or too that keep writing crapp, believe me, so many problems are not even close. They can't reach nokia care? I can reach this guys in 1 minute, and the list of bull''it continues. As much as i know, the only problem with the device is the camera software, yeah, pretty much the same as with my nokia 8. So, camera software might crash the device from time to time, but not literaly, more like freeze or something like that. This problems are tough to be debugged, so i do not see a huge thing with this. The rest of the device is actually quite good, for the price. Flagship rate build quality, call quality and charging system. Stays cool pretty much as long as i used it and also when i konfigured it, installed apps and so on, i do no gaming, so there i cannot help. Of course, you cannot expect flagship performance, but for the money perfomes great, it does not bother me when i play with it, or set other thigs up, quite at all, even tough i am using the racket: nokia 8. Here an there ar some delays but that is totally fine minding the fact that i have gone through a lot of devices and a lot of them even more expensive are slower to respond (galaxy s6 is a good example of slow and laggy, and is 2 times slower then this device. As a flagship was praised without an end, but when it comes to nokia brand, the better performance at a lower price, is not good... see the irony?) So, stop believing these bashing moro's. People that have problems actually instead of talking nonsense somewhere where nobody cares but strangely, just people who want to buy, would actually take the device back and take a new one. This is what a normal human does and this is how things work. You take it, is defect,/don't like it, you take it back. So, try to see any other offerings, if there are better or not. I support Nokia cause of principles, but that is me, it does not have to be you if you do not trust them, you could try a motorola g something that is a bit more expensive or almost the same price, but i do not know nothing about the device, just that it has, slightly better hardware, excluding cpu, but is plastiky and cheeply made.

  • My battery drains fast do u have any complaint like that

  • Don't buy Nokia,,,it's too worst mobile

  • The more Ram you use the better, it's just random access memory. Idle RAM is pointless. The more RAM being used at once increases performance speed because it has a larger cache of information to pull from without having to load new information. Of course you should clear or "boost" your RAM every once in awhile because cached information is only good for so long. There should only be like 30 percent of free RAM when the phone is in use.

  • First time Nokia too quick about system update, now too slow, because they got big market......shame it.

  • It's best phone but it's charger is not good I have problems with it within 3 month's of buy

  • Hello 7xm, i am using nokia 6.1 since 1 months, yes it was frezing earlier but not it is the best phone. No lag at all after august security update. I having 32GB Black copper model.

  • Not yet from india. am waiting for it, it's been mid of September but no security update. Earlier I was using Mi A1, disappointed with delayed updates and buggy updates most of the times. I changed to Nokia 6.1 seems here also same. One thing I can say that, I didn't get any buggy update as of now. Which is good rather to have buggy update. Will wait for one more week, we might get the update.

  • Hey Carol i have a question. How long have you been using your nokia 6.1? because i'm planning to buy one nextweek. it looks like a lot of people are complaining about the perfomance (crashing, freezing,) have you experienced this issues? and if so what are your solutions? lastly, is your nokia model TA-1043.? it seems that alot of people are experience some issues. thank you in advance! god bless.

  • Did anyone got the September security update ? Like last month it came pretty early, and I don't think they want to ship it with Android pie

  • I am buy Nokia 6.1 and this is my wrong decision because it is Verry bad phone, and verry slow than other verry low price mobile I can by it at 15 august 2018 and within 25 days hanging issue starts, battery is verry fastly discharge. Also I can not contact to Nokia customer care to till date,if only say chose language and then say prase 1 for complain if i prase it but they only you are not chose any option and then cut the phone, chat support is only for showing it not supported for any query. Please pleae, please don't buy Nokia mobile.

  • No, they're not. HMD Global Oy, the company that inherited the Nokia brand, is a finnish company just like Nokia. In fact, their two offices are just across the street from each other. Have I made myself clear? Also, the phone is fantastic for the price.

  • Contacted ssupport about it and they said they stopped the update for security reasons.

  • sold mine as well. The camera awas basically unusable at low light. And it hanged a lot when I was using it

  • I had the Nokia for a month and a half and it hanged like crazy and I am not ta heavy user. I don't play games. It hanged at random moments. Sometimes I was trying to unlock it and it hanged for minutes. It also hanged 2 out of 5 times when I was trying to use the camera. I contacted support multiple times about that but they were extremely rude about it. I have a friend with the same phone having the same issues so I am pretty sure the problem was not from my unit.

  • get a Xiaomi A2 , way faster....

  • Get Nokia 6.1 eyes closed, it has a better build quality, better and cleaner software and most importantly a better chipset for gaming and multitasking.

  • This phone or y9 2018 in my country they have the same price so I am confused the problem with nokia for me is the aspect ratio and the camera while y9 2018 from Huawei has both while nokia has stock android so i am really confused

  • When get Android pie....

  • for those with camera issues search Nokia 6.1 Google camera in YouTube

  • Is nokia 6.1 plus rear camera better than nokia 6.1 rear camera.? (Nokia 6.1 has zeiss optic lens..but 6.1plus hasn't it) explain please...

  • It is not true.... It is great phone using it from last 5 months no lags at all

  • Oh, never heard this one, this one's new. You got to be right there in the board of directors to have so much knowlege. I have to ask you cheef, when's nokia 9 comming out? We all wait for it's chinese composition, looks great.

  • Do you even know at what level of security is your phone? Please tell us. I jave a fealing you already are on August security update and september is not out yet, so yeah, patience.

  • Yeah, right...

  • Nokia is Chinese now

  • Hanging.like.a.shit if I play games....Nokia ' phone.are good only for qwetry keypad phones and not for android... So far I have experienced that Nokia Android phones hangs.the most.when it comes to playing games....I bought.Nokia 6.1 just.a.month ago but it has started hanging again like no other much cheaper Android.phone.also dont do

  • usb internet tethering in usb type c port is great and data transfer speeds r awesome unlike the crap micro usb in chinese and midrangers of other brands

  • yh! not focusing but u can focus manually! mostly it will be resolved in an update

  • I bought this phone only because of two things: 1. Zeiss optics 2. Nokia phones are rarely seen in our country Im sort of dissapointed with back camera(Zeiss). I noticed that the front camera(Nokia) is better. The back camera is not focusing well enough.

  • I am extremely disappointed in Nokia as my phone is not receiving the regular security and software updates promised for Android One. I purchased this phone because regular monthly security updates were advertised. Their customer services blame you, the customer, for being impatient. Having a phone that is behind by 4 months in security updates is not being impatient, it's what I paid for. Phone was purchased in the UK on a major carrier. Very poor.

  • This is an amazing phone. Nokia is really stepping up their game. It feels very solid in the hand. Very good camera as well. You may find it a little bad when you shoot indoors for example your house. But overall it's an extraordinary phone. It has a really fast processor and it supports fast charging which I'm always a fan of. It has such a loudspeaker. I just love this phone. Big thumbs up to Nokia👍🏻

  • Been using it phones supercool most of the time which is great for durability and battery health except when charging which is normal, been receiving updates frequently, I used a Chinese brand previously and though it was in a great condition still turned out to be unusable due to lack of software support and crashes! and I'm sure this will definitely be there with u for the long run! for those who worried about low light photo there is a pro mode and u can increase shutter speed to get more light! pure android is simply superb! please consider software update and build when purchasing a phone and single handed use might get difficult if ur using a cover I persinally don't recommend a cover for it prevents ventilation! that's it 6.1 is definitely a best buy!

  • Thanks bro

  • I do not like nokia 6.1 plus design, but it has slighty better hardware. As for the case sorounding it. I think is safe to assume is not that sturdy, cause of to much glass. At the end, they are good, nobody can.make a decision for you so, go for what do you actually like or need. If you work in a dungen with a lot of stone and metal, then 6.1 and a panzer case(-_-) . If you work at the office and are not cumbersome, it really does not matter that much which one, both are good and have android one installed.

  • Does it support screen mirroring?

  • Dear friends, plz give the clarification, which is best NOKIA 6.1 (2018) or Nokia 6.1 Plus (X6)...

  • My call reception is bad only ok when someone on same network.

  • Chinese brands made wonderful phones in the beginning BT almost all their recently released phones are not durable and don't have a good build and filled with bloat means ur prone to get hacked for u don't know what permissions r needed for those apps further it eats ur storage battery and ram so having a 4 gb ram in it is similar to having a 3gb in a less bloated one and all Chinese r pure iPhone clones Nokia is for those who value build privacy and love to be unique

  • Yes, there is a recording option in fm.

  • me use 1 month.after sell this phone.because Selfie camera not good overall ,no led flash .Also main camera holds in low light.Led flash is weak.

  • Can you record fm radio?

  • If ur budget is Rs 35000, go for nokia 7 plus for rs 25000.

  • price is high...screen is small from expectation..

  • nokia 7 plus is good for ur budget

  • I want to buy this kindly suggest me shoud i buy 6.1?and tell me if there is any problen in phone.my range is 35000/Rs

  • The Design is on point. But am Completely disappointed in the Camera. My Galaxy phones have always have a waaaaay better camera. Nokia can do better on that

  • Ok,thank you for your valuable information.....sir

  • because of too many bugs camera update is removed from playstore. now the only possibility is to download apk but my advise would be to wait for a new update...as i had used the camera update and there was a lot of processing problems that i was forced to uninstall.

  • I am agree with you. Stock camera is unstable

  • Download apk from nokiapoweruser.com website

  • For me, m using black copper and it's awsome.

  • Nokia 6.1 camera update can't available,at play store.....

  • Copper

  • Need your opinions which is better looking for the Nokia 6.1 The Blue/Gold or Black/Copper.

  • same question bro"

  • You might have a bad battery. Try to charge it with a more powerfull charger. Lt it sank in for 20 mins, see if it helps.

  • I correct, It does support small letters, but not spaces

  • Nokia 6.1 does FM radio and supports RDS and Radio Text, but not supports spaces and small letters in them. So if your station's name for example "Radio 1", you will see "RADIO1".

  • it's a stock android. it hasn't gallery either. Just Google photos. it does play videos. but it doesn't support resume play

  • Shame. It is one of the basic features that is needed in the UI and yet Nokia did not include it.

  • Camera update not available at play store...

  • The only turn off is lack of LED notification

  • No, the Nokia 6.1 does not have a shortcut for NFC, you have to go to settings.

  • Well guess I have seen enough...too many bugs, so not this phone.

  • My Nokia 6.1 is constantly showing errors with stock camera after the android security patch update of July. Is anyone also encountering the same thing? I'm literally sick of this constant hanging, crashing and errors of the stock camera

  • Wow, this phone is a reak, go find your self a better one. Really, in the mean time, stop talking rubbish.

  • Does the Nokia 6.1 have an NFC toggle (similar to Sony or Samsung phones) that you can toggle on & off quickly without going to the Settings?

  • Nokia 6.1 or huawei p smart?

  • I have TA-1021 (N6) Os 8.1 No Problem

  • Me too have the Moto x and Nokia 6.1 I bought the Nokia from an offline store. Its working well till now. I did receive security update but I didn't update it.becsuse it has bugs.. most of the time updates ruin phones performance instead improving it.

  • Some points of use .Selfie camera not good overall ,no led flash .Also main camera holds in low light.Led flash is weak .Other camera application than stock improve some faults.4K video need very stabilization hand for no pixels recording. No happens on 1080p.Radio reception is very bad .Need good quality earphones for use the wire as antenna. On walking is very hard to lock good signal.

  • Had 1 month constant blue tooth issues, tried all the "fixes" didn't work. The screen doesnt respond to touch as well as, well as well as every other phone I have ever owned. To top it off screen shattered the first time i dropped it getting out of car literally from 18 inches. I find it hard to believe this is gorilla glass i had my moto x for 5 years thru multiple( ok excessive) drops and it never shattered. I really wanted to like the 6.1 loved my nokia before microsoft ruined them but the new nokia has a long ways to go b4 they are on par with the old nokia.

  • North American LTE - mid-range phone - Moto x4 or Nokia 6.1, very similar specs, which is a better choice in the long run or noooo waaay to both?

  • I'm using 6.1 but suddenly phone getting off.. after i put in charge but no use.. now phone is dead..

  • Some apps, games requires high ram. If you have 800mb of free ram most probably those high graphical games will crash.

  • My preference would be for Nokia 6.1. Which I am using since two months. There is no issue absolutely no lagging and good mobile.

  • Which is better Nokia 6.1 with 32 gb and 3 gb of ram or xiaomi redmi note 5 pro with 64 and 4 gb of ram Bigger battery or fast charging. Android one or miui

  • Hey ram is needed for multi tasking not for insatlling app .

  • Me too....Pakistan

  • I just received august security update (Romania)

  • you got it wrong .. ram optimizes as heavy apps are used u dont need to worry bout ram free left mine even reaches ,800mb but still so smooth no lag issues

  • Bad ram management. Now I've only 1gb free ram. If I install few more apps then .android one is a joke

  • Nokia 6.1 for Sure. Sony has bloatware

  • Am upgrading from Sony z3 and am torn between Xperia z5 and Nokia 6.1. The price is almost the same, any advice will be appreciated

  • Android Q will also come

  • This one for sure. Newer generation, way better build quality, android one. Android p coming. No bloatware. Cheapper.

  • Should I buy this or Sony Xperia XA1 plus?

  • Just pinch to zoom. Like you do when you zoom in photos. Nothing complicated

  • NO

  • Do you find it now(camera zoom)?

  • Been having it for 2 weeks now. Pretty much satisfied. Smooth, fluid and fast, camera is ok and battery ( at least for me ) lasts over a day. Would recommend

  • hi friend how can zoom my nokia 6.1 camera . zoom setting me no fouend.

  • Nokia giving three years security batch update n two years OS upgrade.Android [email protected] would be coming asap.

  • My real problem is battery life. Redmi 4 Note was awesome

  • Main difference SD 450 (G6) vs SD 630 (6.1) SD 630 is having Higher clock speed Great Ram speed Big Little Technology which is Great battery efficient Higher version GPU Bluetooth 5.0 NFC Support Fast charging with 18W. In G6 its 15W These were hardware advantages Android One with monthly Security Updates and 2 android update

  • Yes its having dual 4g support

  • Have you ever heard the word "Durability"? I dont think so and thats why you are comparing this. No doubt its having less features but it will last more than any other phone in this price range

  • This is new nokia 6.1 not older nokia 6.

  • You're welcome. Hope you will be good with your decision.

  • which is better between nokia 6.1 and samsung j8?

  • i thought the same actually. i need a phone that could last long and nokia build is super impressive as said in jerryrig youtube. chinese companies ARE a real winner for thier "most bang for your bucks" phone, but being cheap, nobody cares if their phone dies a year or so. just slap $200 and you good to go. well, i guess not to expect much at this price point. thanks for your kind two cents.

  • A2 lite would have been great without the notch.

  • Yeah, that's a good question. Well, nobody will be able to answer you to it. But only trolls or biased. And believe me, you do not want fo rely on any of them. Inform your self aboutthat xiaomi in general, who are they? Build quality comparison. For sure worse then nokia 6.1. Call quallity? Battery life? Real Complains (not trolling crappy ones) and positives. I, for one, would never pay for a xiaomi (out of principles). But that's me.

  • Go tell your lies to someone who actually believes you. Most probably a friend of yours or something. I bought this device for my girl and is not even close to what you claim, is way better. And for the price, one cannot expect a 700€ performance.

  • The problem is not the phone, the system or the brand, it is actually the user that does not understand how an operating system works. My nokia 8 runs at about 1.3 gbRam even tough it has 4 GB. Why? Well, android, the first clue. Second (applies to all systems) the more RAM you have the more will be occupied by the OS. Your moto might have had 1.3 gb but for sure the experience was not great. Android needs about 4gb for it self to be opened in RAM and hand all it's functions at the fastest way possible to the CPU. The fastest way, at the moment, being: holding Files in RAM'. The more the functions/files are being read from the storage, the more lag you will see. And that is why all 2 gb android devices have a lag even with an.high end cpu.

  • This phone is super laggy.i have 3 gb variant .purchased few days ago but its performance like i am using a cheap phone which only have 512 mb ram .when ever contact nokia care they only send hard reset your phone.poor customer service.i score this device 2/10 and people stay away from this super slow phone don't buy thia phone.

  • its very bad performance and also sometimes hung

  • no , it has bad ram management. The 4 GB variant will have few more hundreads free ram. It's a stock Android version.

  • Do you realize that Android 8 is more demanding than JellyBean and MarshMallow.? as well all the apps today has higher RAM usage than before?

  • Nokia care does not know what they're talking about. The old Nokia 6 supports formatting SD as internal storage but the 6.1 absolutely does not. I own it. It doesn't even work if you use the ADB command to force formatting as internal storage because adoptable storage does not work with file based encryption. None of the new Nokia phones with Android One support adoptable storage.

  • poor ram management. out of 3gb only 1.3 GB is free. as it's an Android one device I expected more. Moto x 2013 model has 2gb of ram and I get 1.3 GB ram free always.

  • I have had mine for a week now and I really like it. Comfortable in the hand and seemless running for my day to day use

  • You can always buy Nokia 6.1 plus aka Nokia X6, which is 18:9 ratio screen.

  • You can buy Mi A2 lite with SDM 625 and 4000 mAh battery

  • redmi note 5 or nokia 6.1

  • Hey There! I can't play mkv or high quality videos on MX player/In photos? What's the solution?

  • I contacted nokia care, they said yes, you can format sd car as internal in nokia 6.1

  • This one in 18:9 would be perfect. Nokia 5.1 and 3.1 have low chipset and gpu

  • I don't see any Blue tint, its normal.

  • hi, lately xiaomi has launched xiaomi mi a2. i found out this phone have about similar price with nokia 6.1. i need a phone that could last as long as it could be (prob. 3+ yrs) but sd 660 priced similar to sd 630 in nokia, its a deal that i couldnt resist. any suggestion about this two phones.

  • I have the phone and the screen is not blue ish

  • Awesome phone. Greta music quality and the best camera in this category or higher. My previous phone was Huawei P9 which maybe looks great but in comparison with 6.1 is cheappo:) Nokia is better in everything, not to mention all screen focus in 4k and full HD video. Awesome for youtubers

  • is it true that the screen is too blue-ish? All reviews say that the screen has a blue/cyan tint. Is that obvious when using the phone???

  • Yes

  • It will heat & heat decrease in shotly coz of aluminum body this aluminum has heat transfer..but good design

  • My appstore is not working well. When I try to download any app or game. It keeps crashing that app. Any help plz?

  • Thanx ☺

  • 1% battery drain every 8-10mins @ 6% display brightness using web browsing.

  • I got thia unit 2days ago. Heres my review below. 1. Battery, i noticed that the battery discharged faster than my nokia 5. May be due to 5.5" screen. I played boxing star games for 20mins and fb and net browsing for 20mins, from 94% down to 83% in just 40mins of usage. I give the battery rating 6.5/10. 2. Design is superb! 3. Heating issue, i noticed some warm during playing games but tolerable. On my nokia 5, i didnt feel the warm playing the same games. 4. Camera is good! 5. Pure android experience!!! 6. Overall experience, i give it 7/10 7. Recommended?? Absolutely buy it!!

  • Do Nokia 6.1 have screen mirroring

  • lots of advantages with 6.1 1. android one 2. dual volte 3 . face unlock moto x4 is more expensive , moto these days is bad for providing any updates u can also get redmi 5 pro

  • my nokia 2018 having earpiece problem...plz advice...it is scruch and low sound

  • Nokia 6.1 or Motorola moto X4? I can't deside.

  • Heating over what can I do

  • sir mobil is heating issue.??

  • Phone is nice but please add more modes in camera and please add bokeh effect in rear camera also

  • I request to Nokia developer team,as a Nokia lover friend... please add...Qualcomm Aqstic audio ..... thanks.just awesome...6.1.

  • some say phoen hangs... maybe u have to many apps open.

  • Please suggest, I'm looking for an upgrade from Xiaomi Note 4, is the Nokia 6.1 a good upgrade? What is the pros and cons of the phone?

  • All over its a good mobile phone for me......

  • yes you can.

  • Seriously?

  • I am Using nokia 6.1 from last 25 days. its awesome. I loved it

  • can you install whatsapp on it?

  • It seems Nokia is applying monthly security patches, both this site and arstechnica observe that. This is unheard of among midranges. Finally a proper successor to the Nexus.

  • What's new in this?? Already every mobile phone company is coming with all the features given in this nokia 6.1. Even its look is not so stylish that can attract us. Then why should we go for this...

  • Setting an SD card to internal storage DOES NOT work on the 6.1 because it uses the new File Based Encryption. Very annoying especially with the system partition being 12GB and 64GB model not available in US.

  • Just install Google Camera mod and see the magic. It won't make your camera work like a Pixel, but definitely, it is better than stock app, except Pro mode. Also, no need of rooting as camera2api is enabled by default...

  • not good, hang plm & more

  • Very useful android smartphone & user friendly.charging very fast but only the camera quality must be improved.

  • Nokia 6.1. Galaxy s5 2017 or honor 8?

  • Haha, i guess you wrote on nokia 6.1 page instead of nokia 6 page.

  • Make your sd card as internal storage from option.

  • I guess if we format sd card as internal storage from option, than we can move even apps.

  • Yes

  • You can just... cut and paste the files over the sd card :) though apps cannot be transferable since android 7.0

  • Can someone tell me how i can transfer apps and other files from the internal storage to the expansion SD card? Thanks in advance

  • is it android one

  • 6.1

  • 4g+4g sim..??

  • No I m using this phn... I saw single lag in month

  • Nokia 6.1 or new Samsung j8

  • How did you get the Google camera app onto the phone? Do you have any samples?

  • I am using Nokia TA 1054 version. I cant use Mobile data..but everything works fine..its china varient

  • except for camera app everything is straight from google

  • Which is the best nokia 6.1, samsung j7 max or sony r1 plus

  • X6

  • Do update your phone's OS. everything is working fine for me. don't spread wrong information.

  • No, you are wrong. you don't know how to use a mobile phone. please google it. Nokia 6.1 supports all games with no lag at high graphic and fps > 30. and it has many features that will supported in next updates. only it's camera app is hang at sometimes. I suspect some misuse happens there. other things are satisfactionary. it has NFS usefull for wireless transaction. and other feature which can only seen in highend device.

  • Hi guys.....from Kenya here....network reception is tricky here. Between Nokia 6.1 and Samsung galaxy S7 which one has better signal reception. Or which phone should I get for the best reception. Thanks

  • Hi to all, I have searched but didn´t find any answer. I have the opportunity to buy this smartphone but it is a TA-1068 model. Do you know if this will work in Europe? What I have found online is contradictory. Sometimes is says it is the Indian version some others that it is a Global version.... Thanks a lot!

  • really , do u have it ? i have heard it lags when opening camera. also hangs a number of times

  • Awesome phone

  • Great phone. Good build quality.battery backup good .fast and good user interface.camera is good in outdoor but not good in low light.good connectivity.far better than mi Samsung oppo vivo Lenovo Moto phones

  • Its working fine (Nokia 6.1), build is solid, software is smooth. Camera is not very awesome. Overall good phone

  • Mine has none of your issues

  • I agree with u, phone is really fast, display battery is good, build is like a tank, camera is ok but u can install gcam port and wholaa u have great cam with portrait mode.

  • plus points.. fast charging android one dual Volte. face unlock

  • can u please tell y

  • 6.1

  • Use double tap to wake. Problem solved. If is not activated, you can find the option under setrings/display/tap to wake

  • Amazing phone in this price range. I'm already using redmi 5 plus. This is much better than that specially in camera department and build quality. Battery timing is also good that it's lasts even after a whole day of heavy usage and 3g or WiFi on throughout the day (I use 3g in outdoors while at home I have WiFi). Speed is also very good. Just a little bit lagging(2,3 times) in a whole week. Camera is not great but not that much poor. It takes crisp images in daylight while in low light its ok. What else you people want in this price range.

  • can anyone suggest any better phone in same price

  • Battery life is very good and lasts for a day even after heavy usage. The phone supports heavy application and fingerprint reader is very fast and the display is very good. However, sometimes it hangs and also overheats on charging.

  • The phone is fast. Touch response is good, opening apps is fast as other midrange phones. Stock = Speed.. Fingerprint sensor has different gestures like opening the notification bar if you swipe down. I agree with the camera and display.. I guess you've bought a fake or the old Nokia 6 which is a lot slower than the 2018 version.

  • From what I read on your comment, it looks like you don't have a Nokia 6.1. You are just spreading a hoax! Snapdragon 630 is slow and sluggish?! Come on! This statement alone of yours is not true! I would say the camera and the display are also very great! What else? The fingerprint scanner has no other feature than unlocking the phone? This is totally not true! All of the Nokia 6.1 owners will know that the fingerprint scanner has other gestures. If you really have Nokia 6.1 on your possession, you should know this!

  • I think you have high expectations from a mid range device and what did you do to make it slow or sluggish? This phone is a beast and it can play any heavy game I throw at it and for the price I think it's a great phone and it's future proof because you're gonna get regular updates for 2 years.

  • When playing games or opening applications it's hanged several times...

  • Dear I have also same problem.. I have reset several times then also it's hanging so much.... I don't know what to do now...,👿😭😡&amp;#128544;💀☹️&amp;#128533;😞😟&#128530;

  • can you tell how many days the battery lasts?

  • Bought this phone around a month back and here is my review: The phone is extremely slow, sluggish.... Even with a single open app.. The response is much slower than my 3 previous Lenovo phones. Infact prior to Lenovo I used Xolo phones (which is like very low in price) but never found any phone as slow as this. I mean it just hangs...... I could never imagine that Nokia would come up with something like this......when they are finally trying to make space in Android market space. Camera - is as bad as it could be........ Its like it just wouldn't focus....... You wait and wait for it to focus on the subject and it will still be their........ Display...... Just average.......nothing great about it..... Body strength - it feels strong...... Battery - Ok.... Average..... Nothing great here as well.... Charging time - good..... It takes less time to charge as compared to my previous lenovo and xolo phones...... Audio quality of speakers - average..... Finger sensor - just unlocks...... No other gesture features...... When I went to buy the phone.... The shopkeeper offered me to look at other brand as well.... He said that in this price range I could get even better specs phones...... But I said that I want to buy Nokia...... I was really hoping it to be a great phone....... And I am so much disappointed that am not able to express....... I am also highly surprised that how could a company like Nokia do this..... Anyways those who used the old 3310 and still expect to get something of that level......would be highly disappointed.....like me.....

  • The pros about Nokia 6.1 *Excellent build quality *Display is good *Comes with a pretty fast Snapdragon 630 and 4 GB of ram *Fingerprint reader is pretty fast *Comes with quick charging support *Also it's a part of Android one program The cons: *Normal battery life(at least for me)

  • Although I bought this phone 1 month ago . Very bad processor . It hangs much more than a Samsung phone . Inbuilt applications also does not support system sometime it get heated also on changing, very much disappointed . Very bad experience . Worst phon ever 👎👎👎&#128078;👎👎👎&#128078;👎👎👎&amp;#128078;👎👎&#128078;👎👎👎&#128078;👎👎👎&amp;#128078;👎👎&#128078;👎👎👎&#128078;👎👎👎&amp;#128078;👎👎&#128078;👎👎👎&#128078;👎👎👎&;#128078;👎👎👎👎👎👎&#128078;👎 ,0.1/10

  • nolia 6.1

  • Which one is better to buy, Nokia 6.1 or Moto g6.?

  • Which model number is sold in UK

  • Does it support VoLTE on both SIMs in india? and Is it pure android one or just android with nokia user interface?

  • what about the battery life?

  • I bought Nokia 6.1 two weeks ago and it is nice phone. Speed is very good and the camera is better too. Problem is the finger scanner is on back of phone and every time I need to pick up the phone to unlock. But the phone is good.

  • Yes i m using vodafone volte in sim 2 and using airtel 4g at the same time

  • On glance:

  • Only on pickup.

  • how is the battery life of Nokia 6.1??

  • Which phone is better, Nokia 6.1 or HTC 10 Lifestyle???

  • How is the audio quality through the headphones? I'd like to listen to music

  • Then this is the perfect phone for you because I ran games like PUBG and shadowgun legends without a hiccup because of the powerful Snapdragon 630 and the build quality is more than impressive. Battery life is solid, loud and clear speaker and regular andoid updates for 2 years. Go for it it's a great smartphone and value for money.

  • iphone is just iphool...

  • Hello. should i buy this beauty in a beast? i have no interest in mobile photography or filming; but i do play games. My places of interest on which i cannot compromise is: great battery life, fast charging, decent game play (i love lags that comes once in a while), solid tank built (confirmed and verified at my first glance), able to use a phone for about over 2 years, black colour only, one 500 ml pepsi or coke, one McDonald's meal. That's it.

  • dual Volte ??

  • Did you just made a bad joke or you really believe what you just said? Iphone is a beast? Yeah, tru it is very ugly, inside-outside.

  • Well obviously in the long run, it is better to choose the 64 gb variant just because of that extra space and memory, because apps and updates demand those two factors, i personally use the 32gb variant, cus i don't really use a lot of apps so it also comes down to personal preference, how you wish to use it.

  • Finaly a normal review.

  • Mine never had battery drain problem on May update

  • It does have Glance

  • well you can check out iphone se cause that thing is a beast

  • Great phone overall. Amazing battery life compared to my old Galaxy S5 mini. I wish there was a version of this with a smaller (4" or 4.5") screen, since i am more accustomed to something pocket-sized. I also wish it had an easily replaceable battery. I like the latest version of Android, and I like being able to uninstall the apps I don't want without rooting it. Good job, Nokia!

  • does it have dual Volte feature

  • No glance or notification light = deal breaker

  • It depends on your needs but based on my experience I used these two phones and they were amazing and I didn't find much difference in fps with heavy games like PUBG and shadowgun legends and I liked these two smartphones and I ended up buying Nokia 8 sirocco because I liked The New Nokia 2018 smartphones so much so if your budget is tight Nokia 6.1 is basically the same as 7 plus, same software experience and for future proofing both are Android one smartphones so both will receive regular updates and sd 660 is not significantly faster than sd 630 especially when it comes to graphics.

  • This phone sounds amazing for the price, but I am wandering if I should get this or spend close to double to get the Nokia 7 Plus. In terms of future proofing, would the SD660, 64GB of Internal Space and 4GB of RAM from the Nokia 7+ be suitable compared to the SD630, 32GB of space and 3GB RAM (AU Variant) which would still do the job? I'm curious as to what other people may choose and why? I'd really appreciate any help on this.

  • You know what I switched from iPhone 7 to this phone and it's amazing like I'm in love with this phone. I also have note 5 but this thing is so cool and it's pure Android that's lovely. It's worth it. Good job Nokia I'll love to pay 50$ more for this phone still it's worth it

  • Great smartphone and one of the most favorite smartphones of 2018 great value for money.

  • Fantastic...buy.

  • Great review and confirmed my opinion. Would just like you to slow down your word speed by say 15%. I had to rewind several times to make sure I understood. Maybe it's me.

  • Got this phone and tinkered with it for the last few weeks, overall very pleased. I wanted an older Sony Z4 but couldn't get one new anymore so I went with Nokia since they are now finnish again. I like it, except the following things: FM radio is very bad, bad reception overall compared to my older Samsung S3; there is no led to notify you visually if you have messages, calls, or the battery has been charged up; no way to change the shutter sound for the camera (minor nitpick). I like the fact that I can uninstall some of the default google apps and install others to do that job. It's not so full of bloatware like the Samsung. Once I got used to it and fully configured it to my liking, it's been a joy to use.

  • 2 hours 15 min

  • Can someone tell, how many hours this phone takes for complete battery recharge from 0% to 100%...

  • It's already been fixed with June security patch update

  • After using a S7 Edge the last two years I was in the market for something new. However, this time around I was not going to be persuaded by articles about "sexy" looks, camera specs, etc. I want a phone for talking (yes, they can be used for that!), texting, email, browsing and occasionally for music. Not only did I opt not to use my TM Jump, but I cancelled it and will now save some coin each month in the process. Also, I did not want to "finance" a phone and knew I would buy outright. I went online initially and looked at many phones then stopped into BestBuy to check this one out. It all began there... First impression picking it up was a solid device that did not reek of plastic or other cheesy case. However, with that being said, the phone is a little too slick and I could see where it could easily be dropped. While a case will solve this it is really as shame as the color combo on this is not like others I've seen which really makes it stand out. The phone is loaded with Android One. For those not familiar with it allow me to sum it up with two words; no bloat. I was very surprised to see what was on the phone and not only allows me to choose what to have, I would not be stuck with a boatload of vendor apps, and others I would not use (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) Once connected to my WiFi I kicked off the updates and got the latest Oreo 8.1. And as this is Android One it will also get the updates much quicker than many other phones, especially those that go through a mobile provider. So far this phone runs circles around my S7 Edge. Not to downplay Samsung devices as they have some amazing features, for those that need them. But looking back at my first "mobile" phone that was mounted in my truck with a handset, I have used Sony, Samsung, Nokia, Motorola and whom knows what else and one thing that even made me think of checking this phone out is that it is from Nokia. Trust me, this one so far has lived up to their reputation. Best $249 I've ever spent over on a mobile device. And battery life is better than my S7 ever was on its best day.

  • Update ur mobile bro

  • no default player & video, incomplete ozo audio

  • Yes I got on lasst week

  • I was hoping to buy this phone as it ticks off many of the things I am looking for, at a reasonable price point, but going through some of the reviews, I found that many people were upset about the May Android Oreo 8.1 update, causing the phone to crash repeatedly while using location services or at random times. Just to any Nokia 6.1 users out there, are you still experiencing the same issue or has it been fixed with a new update. Really appreciate any info you can share :)

  • what can you say about the speakers? are front facing speakers?

  • does it supports VOLTE on sim slots at one time

  • I bought the phone a week a go for my GF... It is actually an awesome phone. Only downside us by comparing it with my HTC 10, i realized that it has bad audio quality both loudspeaker and earphones

  • There was a huge battery drain problem last update, the phone just got updated to June 1 security patch, and it seemed to have fixed it. Yesterday before the update I went out to school with 100%, came home to 28%, today, left school 100, I'm about to go home from school in about 25 mins and I have 72% battery life left.

  • Using this device from last week its a good device you can get potrait shots using google camera according to specs its a bit expensive but nokia is charging for the premium built quality i have the 4GB ram version didst face any lag while gaming like gta san andreas injustice and asphalt and you get a decent battery back up and its really a TANK...................... PROS fast charging decent camera CON on screen buttons.......

  • I've been using nokia 6.1 for about 1 and a half month. It's excellent quallity for it's price. I solved the camera problem by installing the google camera apk and now it is smooth and very ballanced. The battery tho' it lasts about 16 to 26 hours for intermediate and power usage. The built quality is premium. It really is built like a tank. Big up nokia. The only con i have is the speaker that gets activated while i'm in a call. Especially when i'm running because of the sweat i guess.

  • does it support OTG

  • and so? don't you know this? have you ever hear the words "wear and tear?" it is normal. it is totally normal! this happens to any kinds of battery. as time goes by and with continuous use, battery life and capacity degrades. let's say, battery life and capacity is not the same after 2 years of use compare to the battery life and capacity when it is brand new. but still, it depends on the user on how he uses his phone and takes care of his battery. so if you still want to use your phone after a long time, you may replace your battery.

  • Add in speccifications Nokia Ozo audi for Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6.1. this two phone have Ozo audio :)

  • This is true for any phone with a lithium-ion battery. Unfortunately many phones today are of a uni-body construction so it's harder to replace the battery. Most batteries start losing the capacity around 2-3 years which is when most people get new phones anyway

  • To Trip - Your model is Chinese, and it's the only model without Android One.

  • Anyone read this Nokia's statement.??? "Battery has limited recharge cycles and battery capacity reduces over time. Eventually the battery may need to be replaced."

  • I would say that your phone is not working properly, maybe a defective cpu.

  • Im still on 7.1.1 android and dont have any update for 8.1 please somebody tell me what happen? Model is TA-1054

  • Does anybody know how to hide contacts without phone number from phonebook?

  • Battery is not soo good for this prize. Other than that camara all other things or okay for me.

  • I have had the Nokia 6.1 for a few weeks now and the exact same thing is happening to me - camera app seems faulty, tried full reset but still same issue. its a shame because other than that phone seems great, but camera is important part for me, integral in my work.

  • I have the 3 GB version and using it for a month now. Overall not satisfied with the performance of the phone. Following are some of the issues with the phone. 1) While on call using the handset, the phone's display gets active and with the contact of ear, the phone gets muted or switches on the speaker 2) While placing the phone on table sometimes with slight increase in force (Normal usage as in other phones) the phone gets restarted 3) Camera has a very slow response especially during night and the photos sometimes does not get registered 4) On opening multiple applications, the phone gets hanged 5) Sometimes pulling down the notification bar does not work when in applications and works only when we return to the home screen. Overall the mid range phone disappoints even though it has stock android experience.

  • Doesn't have Led light notification! It's a shame that they're saving money on that in 2018. That's a missing feature on the international version. Nokia I hate you.

  • Has everyone got june update patch in india?

  • what do you mean getting hanged?

  • It is very disapointing beacuse of ip6x standard

  • Worst mobile I have ever seen ,,frequently getting hanged ,,whenever I try take photos mobile is getting hanged only advantage is battery

  • Does this phone has EIS ?

  • Of course I did, but they really were not much help at all... I could only talk with customer service, not technicians. I ended up buying it and had it for two days now and love it

  • Do not buy the Nokia 6.1 They are not able to fix a bug since over a month and we can not use 4G / LTE anymore:

  • which Motorolla ?

  • awesome mobile !!! Nokia is back

  • Nokia 6.1 now supports two Jio Sims at the same time after may update

  • Yes after may update

  • Well, mine i have had for weeks and no lagging, camera is decent except lowlight, touch screen works fine although colours could be more saturated it's not terrible and is plenty bright especially in sunlight. You talk rubbish

  • Which MotoroLa please?

  • Dim screen, slow pixel response time, poor colours, touch screen not very responsive. Only a week old and already showing signs of lagging with minimal apps installed. Decent camera, that's about all it has going for it. Given that for just AUD $50 more, you can get a Motorolla with a 2K screen, a great 4K camera along with water resistance and a shatter-proof screen, I simply cannot recommend this Nokia for anyone. If you're limited by price point, there are multiple better options available.

  • nokia 6.1

  • does this mobile supports 2 jio sims at same time

  • honor 7x

  • does this phone have dolby atmos installed in it?? im just asking coz it was not reflected in phone specifications..

  • i am a great nokia fan. had 3 models from 2004 to 2010. i wish they made a model with a min of 4000mah or atleast 3500 mah battery. and also dedicated microsd slot.

  • It's not satisfying at all . My camera is getting freezed sometimes and the icons in notification panels should be in colour .the white background confused a lot

  • anyone using this mobile can tell if there are lagging or hanging issues with mobile in opening apps

  • I have been using this phone since last 14 days. I did not feel anything bad till now. I am an average user, so its battery last for more than 1.5 days. Performance is good. build quality is strong, slightly overpriced but that you have to pay for the brand name. Only one thing that I did not like was the white background when I bought the phone but that has been changed with recent updates. I personally feel it is better to buy this phone rather than Xiomi or Asus phones.

  • I got the Nokia 6.1 (2018) about four weeks ago and was confident that it would be perfect out of the box. But faced following issues: wi-fi access problems (since rectified), OTG does not work with USB C adapter from iVoltaa, Bluetooth connect to car audio drops volume terribly. Camera is also a disappointment. These aspects need software fixes.

  • any one can give detail suggestion bw 7x and nokia 6.1 or oppo f5

  • Can this play mobile legends on high frame rate? Thanks

  • Very simple. Use a charger with less current capacity. For example 5v, 500 to 700 mAmp. For very slow charging, find a charger with 4.8v, 500 mAmp capacity. Hint: If you can't find one it is very easy to make one.

  • To be rational and honest, a good camera mobile costs more. My options are, spend more to get a good camera mobile, or get a good Nikon or Cannon compact/DSlr camera or live with the budget camera in a budget mobile.

  • Very simple. Use a charger with less current capacity. For example 5v, 500 to 700 mAmp.

  • anyone using this mobile can give their opinion abt the performance or suggest any better mobile

  • How many hours can I charge my phone for the first time. And after charging for the first time, what percentage should I charge up to. Old I urgently need your answers

  • is there any option to disable fast charging

  • the overall looks on moto x4 ...and the x4 has IP68 rating....

  • The performance is great because it runs Android 8.1 Oreo and plays heavy games like PUBG in HDR quality without and lags

  • i prefer mobile upto 5'5 only ..tell me performance of 6.1

  • Can anyone tell me how would this Gcam tool improve the camera performance of Nokia 6.1? Thanks

  • If you're a camera lover, I don't think midrangers will satisfy you. Nokia 6.1 and Honor 7X have good cameras for the price, but nothing spectacular. You can install GCam in the Nokia which would improve camera performance, but that's not possible in the Honor 7X.

  • Experts please suggest, should I buy Honor 7X or Nokia 6.1. I am a camera lover...wants a good camera...but got to choose between this two phones

  • Hey i'm facing exactly the same problem , and dont know what to do , if you get any answer do let me know

  • Man I would have loved this phone if it only was for those ugly bezels!

  • why cant you just phone the company or email them. you must live in Canada to ask this,, I am in UK and if I needed to find out I would go to shop/email/phone relevant company to find out it is really simple and common sense.

  • It will not work while roaming internationally?!

  • nokia 6.1 or moto x4

  • If it does have dual rear cameras and a 18 by 9 aspect ratio i should have bought this.

  • they should let us to disable fast charging option in nokia like in samsung

  • no i dont see any option to reduce fast charging in setting.

  • nokia 6.1 or moto x4

  • Is Nokia 6.1 32G single sim 2018 a 4G or 3G

  • dude how to check if chinese or global version

  • I'm trying to figure out if it's fully compatible with Virgin Mobile Canada, which has UMTS B2(1900PCS) B5(850) and LTE B4(1700/2100 AWS1) B7(2600), but I'm a little confused with frequencies... Can someone confirm if it'll work or not? It seems UMTS might be a problem? TIA

  • Dude is that even a question ? Of course the nokia 7 plus is better that the nokia 6.1 in every aspect

  • Just look at the comparison, to my eye, the 7 plus looks sharper, but it also seems to be using very aggressive processing. I prefer the more natural look of the 6.1. The almighty Pixel XL 2 does have better detail, but it's not a huge difference

  • Which one is better in terms of camera performance, 6.1 or Nokia 7 plus???

  • There should be an option in the settings to disable fast charging. Did you check?

  • after 1 month of using this mobile, the result was unexpected although its a clean Android version but I notice slowness when switching between apps and keep hanging especially when opening camera from whataspp, I don't recommended anyone to buy this mobile..

  • im using nokia 6.1 chinese rom is it possible to switch into global rom ??

  • Maybe its a software issue and get fixed in upcoming update. Heating issue is ofcourse understood as its fast charging device. I was using SD Card on it too so I removed that today to see if thats causing it because I haven't used SD card ever on any of my previous cell phones (sounds naive I know). Hope it works.

  • heating issue due to its 18w fast charger so i am using 5v 2A charger. its charging slow but at least not generate too mush heat. but i think its normal for fast charging or because of aluminum body and hot climate countries like middle east. so if you worrying about damaging the battery due to heat just use some original 5v 2amps chargers and i facing some software issue like camera not performed well in social media applications but its software issue not hardware related and may be fixed by upcoming updates

  • i dont have any issue expect pic and post in facebook loading slow but not hang or jam and heating issue due to its 18w fast charger so i am using 5v 2A charger its charge slow but not generate too heat. but i think its normal for fast charging because of aluminum body and hot climate countries like middle east.

  • hey guys can i off the autofocus of the camera. coz ill use this one for mobile filmmaking

  • Is it a slippery phone, like these glass phones, or not?

  • iPhone 7 plus? No, it has average camera according to its price range

  • And how is the camera in this model compared to the 7 plus, better or worse, what do you think??

  • Nokia 6.1 is obviously faster. Not fair if you compare a 3GB RAM 6.1 to a 4GB RAM G5S Plus. G5S Plus uses an old processor that is quite underpowered considering today's standards. And other areas where 6.1 is better includes cameras, software, other features, etc.

  • Moto G5S Plus is better. I have both these phones though 6.1 is 3G RAM version. The performance of Moto Phone is way better considering it is yet to receive 8.1 update, which is already rolling.

  • Anyone facing lags or hanging issues since Oreo 8.1.0 update? Apps keep on hanging especially Facebook and Instagram and camera in WhatsApp and Instagram jams almost every time. It was working fine before. Bought it a month ago. What should I do?

  • This is much better, maybe except for the camera. G5 Plus has better rear camera hardware, and to reach the full potential of its camera you need to install GCam.

  • Yes

  • Is there a double tap to wake up in this phone?

  • This one or Moto G5 plus...???

  • Hi! Would you tell me which colour do I have to choose? I was confused between Black/Copper, or Blue/Gold? I like blue colour but in here I don't know which one do I choose?

  • i owned this phone three days a go . almost it is very nice phone

  • A theoretically great phone. It has a really nice big screen and with full HD despite being outmatched by many handsets still looks great. Good sturdy design which feels well made and able to withstand a bump. The camera (when it actually saves a photo) is average at best, that being said the manual controls make for some interesting and sometime pretty outstanding lucky shots. The OS isn't the most stable, occasionally having to restart the phone. Overall, when the phone is good it's good but when it's bad it's down-right frustrating! I would look at other devices if you're wanting something feature-rich and packed with extras. However if you like the idea (as I did) of the android one OS then I think it's definitely worth a look. On the whole a good reboot from Nokia, I look forward to my upgrade 😊

  • Agree... Too weak for an internet wireless connection... Not commendable

  • That may not be necessarily true. People with the 4/64 version are also complaining about the roaming issue.

  • Great suggestion! I think Nokia 7 plus is the automatic choice below 30k. Almost unbeatable!

  • I don't think they are the same. Nokia confirmed to me in a mail that Nokia 6.1 32 GB (which I bought) supports very limited frequencies for GSM/ 2G. It will not work while roaming internationally. As per Amazon's listing of 64 GB (Nokia's only official online retailer for Nokia 4/64), the phone supports all the 4 GSM frequencies. So its not just RAM and ROM. There are some other differences between 3/32 and 4/64.

  • 4/64 is also Android One lol. They run the same software and everything, only difference that the 4/64 version has more RAM and storage, making it the most obvious choice to buy for futureproofing.

  • Literally no comparison between A6+ and 6.1. The Nokia is so much more better. SD630 on the Nokia vs SD 450 on the A6+ despite the lower price tag of the Nokia. Pure Android one software on the Nokia, guaranteed updates to Android P and Q. Better build quality on the Nokia.

  • shoud I buy this

  • If you can afford to buy A6+, Go and buy Nokia 7 plus. Far more great specs in the same 26k price tag.

  • ill buy this phone and use OPEN CAMERA or GOOGLE CAMERA apps. it would be better ? ill used this phone for filmaking

  • looooool

  • I have purchased this phone 2 days ago and all I can say is wow this phone flies through apps and heavy graphics games. Battery is great camera is good enough and for those complaining about heating the phone is made of aluminum and glass. What did you expect? It gets warm and it's normal. Overall I'm so happy with this phone.

  • I don't think so the same features are there in the the 4GB 64GB model as well

  • Worst fon I have ever seen. I purchased it tomorrow and sold it today. Worst camera. Word application options. Heating like iron

  • Phone does not lag and litle bit of battery heating is there as when you charge first its a quick chanrge then gradually slows down util its full and this is normal nothing to worry about happy with the device but i should tell u one more thing as i recently updated to the Andriod 8.1 May security update after that phone wifi signal reciveing capability is weakened and i hope this will be solved in coming update.

  • I bought this phone 2 weeks ago, I can say I'm extremely pleased with his performance. The softwear experience is immaculate, with no lag, and when I go into an application, the action is almost instantaneous. I do not have problems warming up the phone, it does not warm up when I charge it (it's loaded 40% in 35 minutes). The battery keeps me on for two days with the cellular data lit all the time and a moderate use. Careful! buy the 32gb version with 3 gb of RAM, this is the international verdict, the 4gb RAM is the Chinese version, where you do not get quick software updates, neither the Zeiss lenses nor the NFC.

  • Anyone know why the 4gb variant isn't available in the UK yet? I don't want the 3gb model but that seems like the only version that they stock here at the moment.

  • Got rid of my Nokia 5 ( it was a great experience ) to get my hands on 6.1 and I am not disappointed so far so good it's android one got the updates as soon as switched on the wifi display has been changed looks good though design is awesome camera has new features and it's Carl Zeiss...battery timing good too... No heating problem. I will recommend buying this phone in such low price. #Nokia well done

  • Hi Guys! I'm from UAE, Planning to buy a mid range phone. But got confused btw nokia 6.1 and Samsung A6 plus Samsung has lagging issues after few months of usage( past experience) So I thought of going with Nokia 6.1 but seeing the other reviews does Nokia 6.1 lag? And gets heated during charging? Any new experience? Help me out guys! Cheers!

  • Sai, I am also a victim here. The frequency bands are not mentioned anywhere in Nokia's India website (unless there are some hidden links). So I really got fooled by seeing the Amazon listing for 4 GB/64 GB (only authorized seller for 4GB variant). Amazon listing says quad band is supported for 2G. I do not think this is a hardware limitation. They have limited this at o/s level. Tried contacting Nokia, but the support app on the phone directs us to the global customer care and they do not support India and China. Global customer care has no clue about India products.

  • Injust bought Nokia 6.1 in 20 days ago and This phone is Lag Everytime and on Every App. Even Camera is also lagging.

  • yes ..

  • Yes ihave the same problem i just bought it 2 days ago and its had heating issue while charging i don't know why please tell me what can i do for it?

  • My nokia 6 2018 gets hot when charging. Does anyone have the same problem? I just bought it last week.

  • So what u thought the hybrid slot for?Nokia has an agreement with Greenpeace that they will cultivate hybrid vegetables in this slot.get ur cabbage on the slot ;)

  • I have purchased Nokia 6.1 India model having 4GB ram. In Mobile network settings Enhanced VoLTE option is not found. I am using Vodafone VoLTE is supported by this handset. Please help. Anyone else have this issue?

  • Owned the Nokia 6.1 for a few weeks now (UK). Got to be honest I am impressed. This was my first Nokia purchase since the new HMD rollout. I use it as my secondary phone and I have no complaints. The fingerprint sensor works perfectly, the only slight downside to the phone is the headphone socket. Can be a little sensitive.

  • Excellent comparison of Nokia 6.1 with S6 edge. Glad to see comments from people who don't read phone description yet buy one. Bravo

  • Good catch really! We all thought hybrid slot meant something else. Hope your days out of the cave are good mate.

  • Can a nokia 6.1 user let me know their experience with the fingerprint sensor on this device...in most reviews i watched they complained about the placement. Is it hard to reach ? How about the speed and accuracy ? Does it unlock fast and does it fail often as mentioned in some reviews ?

  • Such a beautiful and power full device Battery timing is also very great

  • My Nokia 6.1 is android one

  • Rumor? Never heard of this one. Apparently frustrated people have no other ideas anymore. No, problem you are safe.

  • You have to be crazy to regret something just cause you did not receive 8.1 faster. What kind of logic is that? As long as you have the security patches their is actually almost no difference between 8.0 and 8.1 so patience, you will get it. In the meantime, make sure you did not block updates connection with some sort of firewall or whatever app installed.

  • Yes, bu i have android one version as well :)

  • That's because the 7 Plus was probably manufactured before the 6.1, so at the time of manufacture the update to 8.1 wasn't available. Not really a huge deal is it?

  • Oh god.. Face ID is Apple's face recognition feature implemented in the iPhone X. It has special set of sensors for scanning. Android phones do NOT have any such feature. They just use the front camera for facial "recognition". It can be easily fooled and is nowhere near as safe as FaceID or normal FP scanners. A lot of phones, mostly the Chinese ones, are touting special face recognition features in their phones, but that's just false advertising. We've had this feature for a lot of years, back then it wasn't famous since Apple didn't have it in their iPhones. When Apple releases FaceID, suddenly it becomes famous.

  • Heating is the main issue... Also the FACE ID feature is missing. It was there when the phone was at Oreo 8.0.0 but the new phones with pre installed Oreo8.1.0 do not have FACE ID. Also the dual 4G sim is an issue.

  • Well it's obvious I am checking via the actual update method, there is no logic in the way Nokia works, they told me today they know there is an issue with UK based updates not working , and to be patient... thankfully I can switch back to my apple and leave this crap in the draw or give it away to a friend who doesn't care about security updates

  • I have tried in pro mode but still bad in low light camera .

  • There are many settings available in the camera, including tapping the screen- tap the little box on the screen with the asterisk and dragging the asterisk up. Or hit the 3 dots and select Pro and you have an iso option which you can use to brighten the scene. My iPhone son is impressed with the picture quality of my Nokia 6.1! I’m hoping for a “shake the camera” to open it option like the Moto X Pure had to be introduced at some point. That is something I miss as it was great when I wanted a quick shot.

  • This phone is very wide and a big bezel on the bottom. Not nice.

  • My Nokia 6.1 came with 8.0 but updated to 8.1 within three days. Logic would suggest that perhaps it has something to do with the date the phone was actually made and boxed. Are you manually checking for updates via settings>system>system update? Hopefully you’ll be pleasantly surprised. My camera updated that way as well as the May 2018 security patch.

  • Does this phone support USB ???

  • This phone is very ugly and wide. The buttons are also onscreen and there is a big fat bezel at the bottom and top. I was going to buy this but after seeing and using it at a show, will never buy this ugly thing, the older Nokia 6 is better.

  • there are two different versions of the phones NOKIA has been releasing. She probably has Android One version of the 6.1

  • No , I have this phone , earphones that came with it are bad so i bought other ones ,and it works perfect.

  • very much confused.. b/w NOKIA 6.1- NOKIA X6- MOTO G6 PLUS- MOTO G5S PLUS. plz help me ??????

  • is that true by plugging in the other brand's handsfree can damage the motherboard of this nokia device or it just a fake remour.

  • I don't think there is an 8.2, but anyway some nokia 6 2018 come with 8.0 some with 8.1 same with 7 plus some with 8.0 some with 8.1 it's bloody stupid and nokia don't really give a hoot

  • There is something which really confusing me. 2 weeks ago i got my nokia 7 plus and i still have 8.0 oreo, but today my girlfriend bought nokia 6 2018 and got 8.2 oreo out of the box. Somebody can explain me this bullshit? 7 plus is about 1month newer and higher specs so should get 8.1 strigh out of the box as well. I don't understand this nokia logic. The same shop both of them are sim free phones. What's the matter? Updates is the most important thing, but now i have to regret my choice.

  • Get the Nokia 6 2018 it has a better CPU and gpu for a smooth performance

  • it has only one issue and that is low light camera the low light photos are fully black except this this phone is a beast and heating is normal like other phones.

  • Should i buy the nokia 6 2018 or the sony Xperia xa2 or the oppo f7....can i know the oppinion ? Thnx :)

  • Can i know whether this phone has any heating issues when charging and extended periods of continuous usage with mobile data on ?

  • I think its the problem with Facebook and messenger....lot of people had this issue with regarding to high battery usage not only in this phone but in alot of devices. Try uninstalling both Facebook and messenger and see if the problem is solved. If not try a hard reset and if that fails too either take it for inspection or get the device replaced. Just search the internet for the high battery usage issue with regarding to Facebook and messenger. Thousands and thousands of complaints will pop up so most probably its the issue with Facebook and messenger. Try uninstalling both apps and see whether the problem still persists :)

  • it has only one issue and that is low light camera the low light photos are fully black except this this phone is a beast and heating is normal like other phones.

  • someone recommend me a choice between nokia 6 (2018) vs huawei mate 10 lite

  • How's your experience about this phone especially about the battery and heating issues

  • My options was LG V30 or other phone i chose Nokia 6.1 just because the software

  • I bought this device 2 days ago and updated it from android 8.0 to android 8.1.0 and I am facing some drastic battery life issues. the phone loses about 20 percent of the battery in one hour using WhatsApp FaceBook and messenger. tried clearing the cache and restoring the device but no positive results. Also another problem is the warming of device. it easily warms up while charging and which is not a good thing for battery. and also a bit of heat while playing PUBG though its a great phone. I don't know maybe the battery life is an update issue or due to my faulty battery. And also I am unaware of other people suffering from these conditions. these are my opinions about this device SYSTEM uses about 60 percent of the whole battery in a single charge

  • Not everyone has the money to purchase a flagship phone. I'm a heavy user but I'm anyways going to buy the Nokia 6.1.

  • so you are a heavy low-mid range user... really?

  • Nokia 6.1 , purchased in India and wanted to use in USA, it did not work. Do not purchase Nokia if you are travelling outside your country. It will not work. Mobile will recognise SIM but the service provider will not give access to network. You can use it only if you are in the country where you purchased, I was surprised with the fact that Nokia is not international. Now coming to the dual sim, there is a catch!!!. If you want to use dual sim you will not be able to use external storage. A very Disappointing purchasing Nokia 6.1.

  • That's the worst reply I've ever seen in my life. Does all high end phones come with great battery life? Lenovo p2 , j7 pro all have a great battery life and If you don't own this phone why are you even replying?

  • Feels very premium in the hand and very good quality, a Nokia is as tough as a brick after all. Very recommendable device to buy, this phone is definitely worth the price.

  • if you are a heavy user, buy top high end phone

  • so, you didnt check the phone bands first and now are blaming Nokia for being dumb? just use your brain first

  • In Pakistan price of Nokia 6 .1 have been slashed for one month.the decision to buy this beauty wasn't regrettable at all for me.

  • Why slow motion video are restricted to 480p..I tried lots of camera app but it doesn't fixed...but Snapdragon 630 supports upto 1080p 120 fps...Nokia should give update for that & other camera improvement low light performance, camera details, etc..

  • Lol , i dont mind 16:9... lol mind 18:9 your own, 16:9 is enough for a smart phone.. lol lol... come on then buy p20 lite hahaha 18:9 aspect ratio using mali t830 mp2.... slow like shit

  • 3000 mah battery ? Come on ! 16:9 ? in the era of 18:9 ? come on come on nokia !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Even I am facing the same problem here. I bought the phone before leaving to US and thought I could use my new mobile when I go there and get rid of the old one. But unfortunately US sims don't work on this piece of crap. Later on I've discovered the dual bands issue. Such a disappointing experience I had. My brand new mobile is of no use now. Using my 2015 s6 edge which still works here accepting the networks. I would never ever buy a Nokia phone. Worst experience 👎. Nokia sucks.

  • To anyone who's using this phone what's the screen on time when gaming heavy games like PUBG? Or if you're a heavy user?

  • Nokia phones have a conservative design, but they're still better than any Xiaomi phone. Nokia are easily one of the most durable phones in the market. At least they're not cheap iPhone knockoffs like Xiaomi/Oppo/Vivo/. Chinese phones lack originality.

  • Retiring a phone just because of a software bug is a stupid thing to do actually. Your issues are nothing that a factory reset or a software update can't solve.

  • I bought the phone from India. Its very crappy and it supports very limited frequency bands. I traveled to US and I was not able to use my roaming connection. Later discovered that Nokia has provide support only for dual band (900 and 1800) and not for 850/1900. its unbelievable that Nokia still manufactures phones in dual band. waste of money and stuck without phone connection in US.

  • Nokia 6.1 is available at Amazon in INR 18,999

  • Form where you bought for 21000?

  • Done !! :)

  • Bought this beauty in Pakistan for 21000 PKR.as far as its price to specs value is concerned ,it is matchless.for 190 us Dollar u get 4k video,Corning gorilla glass, fast charging , excellent build quality, decent display with best LCD sunlight legibility and more than 93 percent of RGB colour gamut, faster security and system updates and upgrades spanning three years and two years respectively.phone looks gorgeous due to anodised copper colour edges on black device.battery timing is handsome because of power efficient chipset Snapdragon 630.the same processor also beats inside Moto x4 and Moto g6 plus.i really appreciate the haptic feedback and smooth touch panel of Nokia 6.1.nokia is back with a loud bang.well done finns

  • What size SD card did you put in the 2nd sim slot? I only installed a 32MB one for now but it did ask how I wanted to use it (external or internal storage). Have you opened settings>storage to see if your SD card actually is being read? When I put mine in the first thing that popped up was to format the card. LOL, not sure of the technology behind that but I’ve learned the hard way that regardless of choosing “removable storage” when I put an SD card with pictures on it into another phone or my PC the other devices can’t read it and want to format it which deletes everything on the card! Also the newer Google OS’s are really squirrelly about “external” SD storage and many apps cannot be moved to the card. Deleting pictures asks for special permission....when I get time I’m going to start from scratch and make the SD card internal storage and hopefully there won’t be issues finding things. This phone will definitely let you use an SD card though.

  • Today I manually checked for updates (despite it saying I was up to date) and there was one! The Nokia 6.1 is still on Oreo 8.1.0 but as of today it has the May 2018 security patch and some build 22.2. Holding my breath for an update that will fix the non-notification issue and wishing for a camera update that will let me shake the phone to turn camera on! Wishful thinking on that I suppose :). So my recommendation is to manually check for updates - often.

  • I like the pure Android and the Android one is awesome but the only one that they sell here in the U.S. is only 32GB and I ran out of space after I downloaded all my app's! Per the instructions on the phone it says when you insert the SIM card a notification comes up to use it as internal storage or external storage??? But mine doesn't give me that option WTF! I tried to get it to do it as per instructions but no way could I get it to work. If I could do that then I would like to keep it otherwise I need 64GB'S in order to be able to use it.

  • nothing here :(

  • I love my new Nokia 6.1 because I don't care about a 16:9 screen with bezels instead of 18:9 edged screen. The phone is solid, fast and runs Stock Android with 3 years warranty on security updates. Way better than Samsung, Huawei or whatever phones with crappy UI's and preloaded with crappy apps which cannot be removed and system updates you never get. My only critic is the camera which is not good at low light conditions.

  • 460 mb update

  • Soon

  • i knew nokia is not what it used to be..the phones are expensive (as per market competition) third class design..no new features (like moto has) nokia will never make it to top ...so no work for xiaomi or oppo

  • why not do what any sane person would and return phone? also it is not phones fault if calls drop if the Volte network is at fault.

  • Ridiculous phone. Now after paying USD300 you don't expect much but HMD Global is wrecking the brand name of Nokia. Bought the Version1 in early Feb. The first two weeks were completely fine. Recovering from the last two disasters of HTC and before that Lenovo, I was happy to be back with the Nokia brand. The Made in India tag assured me it would be a decent quality phone. Little did I know what was in store for me. Call drops and issue with sound both outgoing and incoming started as Vodafone switched to VoLTE. Next the phone started to lag and hang continuously. Apps were crashing on every startup. It was not that I had a ton of apps, the phone memory was 40pc free. The audio quality also started deteriorating as did the 4G speed. Formatted phone many time but same issue. I never expected this from Nokia like brand. Waiting for Diwali new launches to retire this phone. Think twice before buying. I really hope HMD takes notice or they are going to get finished by Xiaomi Oppo and Vivo in India

  • When will be available in Indonesia please??

  • Please reply to my question

  • Hello my nokia 6 2018 power button is slightly looser than volume buttons .when you touch the button they shake a little bit

  • Fact

  • I bought it today for 20k pkr

  • Hey I bought it on 17000 INR

  • Look for nokia 6.1

  • no may update

  • I am looking to buy the 2018 model but I have found that it comes (or at least it is stated) with or without Carl Zeiss lens in different versions. Is that true? Which version shall I look for? I live in Greece. By the way I have heard of Lightinthebox store. Are they reliable?

  • Nomia 6 has better camera overall, and is android pure, will always recieve latest upgrades and improvements

  • I want to buy a new phone and kindly suggest me which device is better huawei mate 10 lite , huawei honor 9lite and nokia 6 2018 in terma of overall performance

  • When will be available in egypt

  • Nokia camera is better record 4k and ozo audio but no waterproff bad thing

  • Do you know the SAR of Nokia 6.1???

  • What you think I should get nokia 6.1 or redmi 5 plus? I really appreciate your options..

  • Was that sarcasm?

  • You won't see too much difference spec wise, but the clean Android of Nokia can make a difference vs the heavy Samsung UI, but put aside the software... it would be hardly an upgrade going to the Galaxy A5 2017 to the Nokia 6.1.

  • I think is better you keep on loving your galaxy A5 2017

  • I have the Galaxy A5(2017) which I absolutely love but i have been looking to change. Should i upgrade to this or no?

  • news security update of May? nothing for me yet

  • Check out advance telecom site. I think this offer is for m/o Ramzan.

  • Last week its price is 28000 aprox but now it ks 21000 aprox how?

  • The Nokia 6.1 (2018) is an absolutely gorgeous phone. I have had it for a week now and love the sleek feel, and because it is a tad shorter then my Moto X Pure it fits in my pockets better. The volume is loud with beautiful sound quality when using the included ear buds; the Moto X has dual speakers so it is not fair to compare with that. I have found this phone to be very quick when changing apps and scrolling. It has been difficult getting used to the camera button though as on my old phone I could touch anywhere on the screen which was really helpful for selfies; the photo quality is better than expected - but I alway opt for the 16:9 size (for a full screen pic) which cuts resolution from 16 to 8 so it’s not fair to compare that one either. Really loving this Nokia 6.1...it is just so beautiful and feels so nice. My only issue, which is big one, is with OREO! There seems to be a problem with receiving notifications - and it is across the board with Samsung, LG and others. Sometimes they show up other times they do not so I try to remember to manually check. The phone updated to 8.1 and April 2018 security patch within 3 days of having it which is pretty great considering the Moto has the 4/2016 security patch! I highly recommend this phone to anyone who does not need the “too big for your pocket” 18:9.

  • Nokia 6.1 is now available Rs. 21735/- approximately 190 USD in Pakistan.

  • I visited hafeez center for buying Nokia 6.1, they said Nokia price will down after one day, its new price will be 21000 Pak rupees.

  • I bought Nokia 6.1 a week back, Really good to use and I simply love it.

  • First, delete it and install it again. If nothing change. Android oreo has a battery system that sometimes kills "unwanted" processes. But first thing first. Do you have a firewall like netguard? If so, that thing kind of kills notification from whatsapp and some other apps. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. Second, if that is not the case. Enter in "settings" "apps" and search for whatsapp. Enter and their will have to be some settings, one of them.is "battery". Enter/ under the "manage battery usage", their will be '"battery optimisation" menu. Enter and click on the blue "not optimised" bar and select "all apps" scroll and find whatsapp, click it and select "don't optimise". This proccess schould allow the app to always run in.background. last would be. If you are using data saver. You will have to activate "unrestricted data usage" for whatsapp.

  • Congrats! I hope you like it

  • It is 4G handset..

  • Does anyone know if the this new Nokia 6 (6.1) is capable of being connected to an external monitor? As in Displayport over USB-C ?

  • Thanks for your kind suggestions I’ll buy Nokia 6 2018 edition this month end

  • Thanks for your kind suggestions I’ll go with Nokia 6 2018 edition going to purchase this month end 🙏🙏👍

  • If it had 18:9 display ratio i would have gone for it :( . on screen navigation with 16:9 display is absolutely bad :(

  • Why?

  • Hi guys, i've just bought this phone, can anyone tell me how to make whatsapp stay conect to the internet? My whatsapp wont receive any mesages untill I open it and a ton mesages untill i open it. Thx before

  • It's not the fastest phone in existence but with the Snapdragon 630 and 3Gb of RAM it runs well enough. I haven't had any performance issues yet.

  • Not" laggy" at all Multitasking is great I 've had it from its release date and am very happy with it a great phone with great performance and specifications for a MID-End device at a convenient price at which with other brands you might not get a half a good as it is. Remember you are not supposed to compare it with high- end ones \\\as for the LAG issue I would suggest you use only stable versions of applications and avoid those crappy beta versions spread all over the net even on official Play Store as the cause some serious trouble even with high end sets\\\ The MAjor Cons. is that it is not root supported yet and hope it 'll get root access soon ;)

  • Horrible nokia 6.1. Never expected such sluggish phone.

  • Based on specs I would go with the Nokia. Also the Nokia is an Android One phone so updates will be much more plentiful.

  • Thanks

  • Dude the new nokia 6 2018 is made up of aluminium 6000 series which gets heat up but it also become cooldown very fast. So it's not a very serious issue buddy.., along with that the chipset which Nokia had used in this device is sanpdragon 630 clocked on 2.2 which is very effective chipset.

  • it's kinda laggy

  • get Nokia 6 2018

  • Currently Iam using iPhone 5s 16gb iOS 11.3.1i want to buy Nokia 6 2018 or Samsung j7 Prime 2 pls give me a good suggestions

  • There doesn't appear to be a "heating" problem. The phone can get warm during intense usage and rapid charging but it stays within safe limits according to the Nokia Support app on the phone that measures these sorts of things.

  • my honda civc has a flat tire, dont buy a Civic... thats your logic???

  • There is no such heating problem. It has fast charging 50 percent in 30 min. So it will heat a little but it is normal for fast charging devices After 50 percent it get back to normal temperature. No need to worry I am using this device

  • This device is under android one project. OS will stay fresh forever that why it occupies complete image in 12GB like windows do in its recovery partitions. Might be

  • Don't know I have ta1043 and is updated to Oreo 8.1

  • Nope buddy mine having 19% charge now and used 1day 17 hours and 18 mins since last full charge. :) Super happy with the phone

  • Bro what about nokia 6.1 2018 heating problem

  • What about heating problem ? some customers complain about heating

  • Exchange it for a replacement

  • I bought this NOkia 6.1. Just within two days, it got switch off and unable to switch it off. Very poor quality and upset about it.

  • I've bought this product on 05/05/2018 Volume Button is not working properly when switch off the mobile and after some time on the mobile working, but after some time is not working so don't buy Nokia 6.1.

  • When is the 64GB version coming to Europe?

  • They will improve camera stability through future updates

  • Still not in India

  • My Nokia 6.1 has no face unlock

  • Nokia 6 new ram 4 gb 64 nice k

  • Does this phone getting dual volte update ? because nokia 7 plus got dual volte via update.

  • wow, that's horrible.

  • Is there any chance that nokia will update the camera using a software update e.g. adding eis or improving low light shots?

  • yes, in bulgaria it’s available

  • I have this phone, it has no notification light.

  • No, it doesn't have led notification light.

  • Only supports 128gb MicroSD not 256

  • Thanks for the pro/con - can you tell us if it has an LED notification light? I've seen conflicting reports on this.

  • After using for 1 week. My Pros: 1) Battery life is good. 2)Audio quality is good. 3) Camera is Good. 4) Build quality Cons : 1) U cannot send a contact via sms. 2) Heats up very fast. 3) Too broad to handle. 4)It is heavy 5)Messages shows different colours. .

  • bought this device a week ago i agree with the site review good overall phone with no lag whatsoever but here are my cons : 1.the system take 12 GB off the 32 GB. 2.the edges of the phone are quiet sharp making the phone not very comfortable for holding it for long time. 3.the fingerprint scanner should be higher (in the flash position) but i got used to it.

  • Did Nokia 6.1 supports volte ?

  • It last a day only

  • Can any nokia 6 2018 user let me know their experience with the new face unlock feature ? Is it fast is reliable ? Does it work even in dim light conditions ? Thank you :)

  • Amazing phone at this price with latest android updates. Camera is good, i have seen a lot of reviews but for a normal user the quality is good. Battery is also great ,I don't have to charge it twice in a day. It lasts for about 36 hours for normal usage. That involves casting netflix for 3 hours a day with data, wifi and gps on. I don't play games so don't get your hopes high. :)

  • Hey guys, I am new here want to buy nokia 6, how long does the battery last? I am a heavy user especially internet.

  • "The only letdown was the grass presentation, which is mostly smudgy" - from gsmarena review about camera. Also this have been fixed with 8.1 update?

  • Please ask, why my nokia 6 2018 dont have update on oreo , still have 7.1 system? Model is ta 1054? Thanks

  • Is this phone capable to work on Tmobile USA network?

  • 4 gb ram and 64 gb internal memory

  • Does new nokia 6 getting dual volte update because nokia 7 plus getting dual volte support via update. Thanks .

  • yes

  • When Nokia6 release date in Indonesia? I need the information please.. 😇😇😇&#128519;

  • Does this phone have face unlock ? And if it does is it fast and reliable as in the one plus 5t ? Thnx :)

  • Why is this phone VoLTE disabled?

  • Release in indonesia?

  • If you want no lag, you really have to think your choices... Cause this days, iPhone 10 lags more then Nokia 8. Anyway, i experience no lag, but then again, i owe a Nokia 8. With the snapdragon 630, for sure you will encounter some "here's" and their's. But for a 260 euro device... with a flagship rate build quality, one can't complain. Full smoothness you can only encounter on more powered devices. In the meantime Nokia 7 will be more smooth, but also, more expensive...

  • i am not a hardcore user. i need a phone which has good built and lind of good camera and most importantly doesn't lag is this phone a good option

  • If iphone 6 has a good camera then my name is Donald Trump.

  • try willmyphonework[dot]net to check

  • Is 64/4gb version available in any country??

  • Works in the USA, just check the bands of the provider.

  • Question, would this phone be suitable for use in the US and Western Europe? Looking for phone that will work in US primarily and Europe by installing local sim. Thanks

  • r u being sarcastic bro??

  • here apps is included or you need to download from play store?

  • hey man how can u compare a mid range phones to high end mobiles??????????? seriously man u have build up some knowledge of comparison and all. check with midrange phones check the specs and then compare. and u cant compare Iphne camera with a 16000rs mob. come on bro give something good

  • What functions/gestures can the fingerprint sensor do on nokia phones?

  • So, no camera stabilisation?

  • does anyone know when the blue/gold version is available/released?

  • Bro, the camera is not as good as iPhone 6s, I’m also using iPhone 6s and my cousin is using Nokia 6 (2018) & the camera is no where near iPhone 6s. Even Samsung s8 could not match the colour display of pictures of iPhone 6s. Keep your iPhone 6s n wait for some other phone

  • It doesn't have in built call recorder but you can download it from playstore.

  • Download call recorder 2017 it's working in my Nokia 6

  • Aa ok.. I love Nokia. But.. Didnt like give more money phones.. Use htc.. One s, m7, one max, desire eye, m8 eye, m9 .. I buy and sell phones.. Use sony xperia t, xperia z, and now xperia x performance.. But want change to Xiaomi redmi note 5 pro or think chinese version note 5(almost same, cameras different).. Good phone price quality.. Huawei also like.. This 4000mah..

  • Not $150 total. $150 more than Nokia 6.1. Total about $450. Sorry if I was not clear enough.

  • Think 3gb 32 versio. But where do you live? New u11 life price 150$? I didnt know that 4g.. But very cheqp price you say. How much nokia 6 2018? In my country no lower than 270-280$

  • this phone have 4k video recording oproin but isn't working.

  • My phone is also unbranded sim free. Yet no update. I'm not the only one going by XDA site. Poor from Nokia.

  • Superb...back cam is outclass

  • Camera on this phone is ok according to the price but don't expect too much. It takes good pics in day light but struggles in low light due to lack of OIS, it takes time to focus so sometimes the pics turn out to be blurred and noise is there. I thought camera will improve with the 8.1 update but it didn't happen, I was actually expecting a good camera performance from this phone cause of the zeiss lens but got a bit disappointed. Apart from camera this phone is really good.

  • Bought it last week in the Netherlands and got the 8.1 update and April 1st security patch directly after first startup. Runs fine. My phone is not branded.

  • Has anyone tried to install google camera app on this phone? The one present on the XDA forums? If yes, what were the results? From what I understand, the Nokia 6 2017 was able to run it without problem.

  • How is the camera performance? It's ok or good?

  • Android 8.1 update not yet pushed in the UK, also stuck on February security patch!! Not good enough. Had the phone since launch day to be repaid with no update. Update has been live in India for weeks and European handsets, are getting it out the box!

  • u r right bro

  • No they aren't, you'll fall in love with the phone once you hold it in your hands.

  • True. There are many gorgeous phones with bezels

  • Small bezels are not important to many people. Grow up

  • Here it states that it records in 4k although on carphone warehouse website it says only full hd. Can someone confirm if it is 4k and possible fhd @60fps plese. Thanks

  • No

  • These bezels are disgusting

  • Nokia 6 2017,price was 14999rs. Now for 2018 model 16999rs. There are lot of good phones available in India below 15000. Nokia pricing is not good.

  • is 4/64 version available anywhere ?

  • Can anyone tell me if the China version have google play?

  • Cool, thanks for feedback. Hows the video - a couple of review videos show some focus hunting issues that can be sorted with a software update.

  • Sometimes need, good for downloading or updating with high speed. Other sense.. In my country also no more than 160mbit.. But 300mustbe.. 2018 look latest model huawri p20 pro.. Bluetooth version 4.2.. May i very rarely use Bluetooth but in that phone mustbe 5 version..

  • Where I am, HTC U11 life is also approximately $150 pricier. So, you know, priorities.

  • My Samsung S8 plus is resting in my drawer after I bought this one. Nokia 6 (2018) is beast of a phone considering the price and latest updates. Camera quality is also pretty decent in low lights but yes not as good as my S8 plus, it's not completely bad though. Overall I'm really happy with my Nokia.

  • I need to know if the 4GB RAM version of the Nokia 6 (2018) will work in the U.S.

  • I haven't purchased yet, but other than the camera in low light, from everything I've seen and read, there's a lot to like at this price. If you buy this phone now, you'll likely get 3 years plus of updates with Android One, rare update frequency at this price point. 2 years guaranteed, but the early buyers will benefit from end of cycle buyers getting 2 years of updates, because they update everyone. If has NFC, which is unusual at this price point. It has nearly the durability of a ruggedized phone from testing on YouTube I've seen. It has a latest generation processor and by the way the Moto G6 is supposed to have a 4 series. There's other things you can do to get a deal, but it involves older models you can buy new either as unsold inventory like you see with LG G5 ($200) and V20 ($240) or HTC 10 Evo/Bolt ($170) or "factory replacement new" model like Samsung S7 for $300, where you can get 810/820 Snapdragon (Exynos 8890 for S7) and flagship from 1-2 years ago. That's the decision I'm weighing, but I'm leaning Nokia 6.1.

  • The Nokia 6(2018) is available in the UKs carphone warehouse with an free google home mini,

  • Guys how is the 2mic ozo spatial audio. Have u tried audio recording to test it?

  • No notification LED - No buy

  • Gsmarena review of this Nokia 6 2018 is imminent.

  • Can u use samsung earphones on it? Because I used samsung earphones on Nokia 6 2017 and then the sound comes only in right side of the headset (any brand)

  • Hi guys, can tell me someone about camera on this phone, is it better than if compare with Iphone 6s because i have iphone and want to buy nokia 6 2018? Thanks

  • Do not, keep your samsung

  • Cannot understand where this speed is and why you need it? 10Mb/s is enough to stream high def video what are you needing this speed for?. It is just spec nowt to do with real life,.

  • Mustbe have more fast 4G(LTE) 150 already in past.. 300mbit or higer.. And bad that microsd or sim2. Htc U11 lite more good phone with same chipset

  • It is not available anywhere at the moment

  • is 4gb rom and 64 gb hard drive version available in india

  • I also use my Nokia 6 (2018) when it's charging, it's nothing like you can't even touch your phone, it doesn't overheat but yes gets a bit warm, all phones do get hot while charging (specially the ones with fast charging). As far as the SIM slot is concerned even the Samsung flagship phones like the S7/S8 also come with one SIM and SD card or 2 SIM minus SD card.

  • No.. only "Google photos" app

  • Every fast charging supported phones will heat while charging. It's a common thing. Don't worry about it. In 2018, most of the phones have hybrid sim slot. No only Nokia, also Xiaomi, Honor, Lenovo, Moto etc..

  • Camera had vastly improved with the 8.1 update, you also get bokeh mode for selfie.

  • Hello Guys.... going through i buyed the phone NOKIA 6.1 2018 edition firstly battery gets heated while charging u cannot even touch the phone while charging you can only use single sim or two sim but not memory card means only one option is there 1 sim & 1 memory card or else two sim this is the worst mobile i have ever seen If any one wants to try then please go ahead you will get the feedback what i have posted above

  • already released.

  • Nokia 6(2018) Releasing date in Pakistan

  • Is there built in gallery in Nokia 6 ?

  • So Nokia 8 camera is bette

  • get nokia ,samsung isnt that good ,camera is avarage on samsung

  • yes

  • Nokia 6 2018 or Samsung J5 Pro , which is better in overall performance and camera, Thanks

  • Yes you should. Nokia 6 (2018) is a great stock android phone which gives you latest android updates unlike Samsung with fluid performance, great battery life and solid build quality.

  • I m thinking to sell my Samsung a5 2017 and buy Nokia 6.1 2018 .guide me guys should I do it ?

  • I have recently bought Nokia 6.1 and I feel that is the best phone with look wise and with function wise too so, Finally, Nokia is back...................

  • Come on bro... It comes with original Nokia earphone and fast charger+USB type c cable.

  • it does support usb otg

  • Yes it has.

  • Sadly no.. ambient display function only.

  • Not great. It's average in audio output quality. But the audio recording of ozo is awesome!

  • Please buy 64GB variant. You'll need extra storage later and if you buy 32GB/3GB version, you'll regret

  • Man.. indian version is the international version I guess. I'm using this phone and it has Zeiss cam

  • Wait for 64GB version. I'm using 32GB variant. 64GB storage is the minimum standard for a phone in 2018. And you'll get 1GB additional RAM

  • This is one the best mid range phones available. Solid build quality feels really premium in hands, monstrous battery life with fast charging, good loud speaker sound, stock android (zero bloatware), regular updates, finger scanner works like charm and last but not the least camera, it's great in decent lighting conditions and acceptable in low lights. Overall I'm very much satisfied with my Nokia 6 (2018).

  • Nice mobile perfect fit in hand Battery is good Display is also cool Fast Camera (7/10) u can say good Latest android is awesome. Nokia 6(2018) Roskx

  • Should I wait for 64 GB version or go for this? Please help

  • Where can information on NOKIA 6 (2018) SAR values be found?

  • Yes,it has

  • Nokia 6, but that's only if you don't really care about the camera. Xiaomi performs better from reviewer

  • Does Nokia 6.1 have gestures support (without virtual keys on screen)? I saw on yt, but that was 7 plus for China

  • Any idea when new Nokia 6 will be available in Egypt

  • Hey what should I buy Redmi Note 5 Pro or nokia 6 2018? Thx a lot

  • For its price the phone is great i love its design and specs. Nokia rising like a star. Like a titan among the gods and demigods. Soon the Nokia will be best ever on the market and the rest of the competitors will lick dust from its feets.

  • Useful comments about the camera. Some of the youtube reviews said that it was average and not great in low light. How is using the finger print sensor? Alot of reviews say it's in the wrong place and uncomfortable.

  • Yes, it's gone after the 8.1 update.

  • I'm using it since a week now and I'm satisfied with the camera, it justifies the price tag. Daylight pics are crisp and clear, low light photos are also decent compared to other phones at this price, I tried phones like Honor 7X, LG Q6, Samsung on Max before buying this one, it takes some time to focus though. It would be nice if it had ois but still the pics turn out to be good thanks to the Zeiss technology, overall it's a great buy.

  • Many indian has also reviewed chinese version, but in india all nokia 6 is launched with zeiss version

  • how long it takes to fully charge from 0% to 100%?

  • I'm actually looking forward to this. Hopefully, HMD global changes their mind and will bring the 7 Plus to the U.S. If not, I can be just fine with this device. I have a Moto Z2 Play right now lol.

  • Camera is subpar (similar to a 2015-16 flaghship Phone) its good for its price point and has branded lens from Zeiss but not as powerful as Samsung/Iphone/Pixel 2 camera.

  • the reviews are for the chinese/indian version. The international version with Zeiss optics isn't available yet.

  • dear, i watch youtube reviews for nokia 6 2018, but every one say camera is not good. plz tell me reality, how the camera is good

  • Should i wait for nokia 6 2018 4gb/64gb ? Will it give better smoothness than (3gb/32 )current config.?

  • Anyone here? Updated to 8.1 and lost the Face Unlock?

  • Yep. Nokia 6.1 is far better than redmi note5 pro in terms of camera, design, performance. personally i am using both phones. I find zeiss optics os far fa better than normal sony cmos sensors. I don't find any difficulty with 3 GB RAM. If you are looking for numbers only like 6GB 64GB, Then go for note5 pro. But if you are looking for specs with quality, durability, best in class camera then go for nokia 6.1.

  • How is the camera performance. Better than redmi 5 pro?

  • download callrecorder ( acr).

  • Anyone please tell me Nokia 6 2018 support call recording or not? Please guide me! Regards

  • in 13 april 2018. why can't realese nokia 6 2018

  • about the live speaker's audio? thank you

  • Nokia 6 (2018) for flawless performance, it's a superb phone.

  • Nokia
