  • Works well on Sprint. Uses Windows 8.0. Sprint has not allowed an update to 8.1 yet. That is potential downside to this phone if you have to have 8.1 and Cortina. 8.1 may never arrive, I'm told.

  • However, HTC windows phones are very good in normal use as a phone and pocket camera. When You want use it as a game pad then You have got problems.

  • DO NOT BUY any of the HTC phones, they DO NOT have service center near your place, and they take minimum 12days to repair your cell.

  • Wants wp8 phone go for Lumia....they provides better features than htc

  • htc with windows phones sucks truly...as you not know so i will tell you that in Windows Phones you can't move apps to SD card a major draw back & still knowing the fact HTC giving too low storage...so it sucks...i've used HTC 8S & had a loss when selling it...otherwise you can't compare the smoothness of the OS with anyone, WP smoothness is on top

  • Enough with the "Lumia is better than this". The 8XT is coming to SPRINT. A carrier that DOES NOT HAVE ANY LUMIA PHONES. We only had ONE WP7 phone (HTC Arrive from 2010). We're only getting TWO WP8 (8XT and Ativ S). So while the Lumia may well be a better device to have, for those that CAN'T, or are unwilling, to switch carriers, they are simply not an option for us, and this looks to be the better of the two WP8's we're going to get this year.
