Nokia 7.2 - User Reviews

 • Using this phone from one week now On amazone this phone is 15800 ( after some discounts ) so don't compare price that company launch this phone. I appreciate Nokia for giving clean android as my friends Xiaomi phones showing a unwanted ad while just swiping the screen LOL then he said i tried to remove it but the app is inbuilt and its a "Xiaomi browser". So do you like these experience with your phones? Nokia give you PureDisplay SDR to HDR conversion, Zeiss Optics, Android one with 3 year software update support and with dedicated mermory card slot. For performance point of view Nokia will give you till Android 11 and they are there to optimize it. Nokia phones are not based on hardware only the bosst there performance with software support I paly pubg with high graphics smoothly In real world processor doesn't matter at all as long as your phone life never end and you are not ignored even on 3rd year of your phone. Nokia gives you 3 years of gurrented update. Main thing which matter is your experience with the phones with you are using. HMD Nokia have made many partnerships to provide you with better software experience then other thats why they charge you more money then your crappy chinese phones which support ads and make your life worse later on. In back i am using samsung a70 2016 i never miss my super amoled display. Nokia pure view display are superb as amoled.

 • These specs are a joke.

 • Well true.. OLED displays are better than LCD.. More power efficient and better diplay of colours compare to LCD.. but LCD are more durable than OLED... Now the fact that we all know is Nokia 6.2 and 7.2 are the more terrible phones of 2019 tied with their poor flagship Nokia 9 pureview.. I find nothing worth purchasing these device.. Even the camera is terrible and easily beatable by the rivals OEM

 • Well, you're in luck too, mine was not...

 • I think he refers to the body as a structure, sides are plastic so is the body under that glass....if it follows nokia rools, it should have a metal plate inside to stop it from being damaged.

 • The body made by plastic? Boy you sure you have the nokia 7.2 and not a knock off? The nokia 7.2 is glass front and back. 🤦

 • Returning this phone to bestbuy. Camera sucks balls big time. If i knew i should of stayed with the pixel 3a xl but because of the camera on the nokia 7.2 made me sell it and get it. Was a big mf mistake.

 • I purchase Nokia 7.2 what a mobile I like it

 • Is it better or nokia 9 pureview or another brand like samsung a 7 or xaiomi note 8 pro iam concerned about camera and display

 • Oh wait, you're in luck! The opinion was posted! Go ahead and read it.

 • Appraising Nokia 7.2 will go a long way in deteriorating the brand image of Nokia. As a matter of fact most of the buyers are not happy with this device. If Nokia admits their faults, I'd say they are clever enough to compete tomorrow. The honest video review of Nokia 7.2 by GSMarena can be found on the www. Before ending up, I should accept the fact that the Nokia 8.1 is far superior to this device.

 • Hi ,I have Nokia 7.2. and I want to share my own opinion about this gem of a phone.firstly,Nokia is not only an OEM providing high spec sheet for its phones but it is a vendor focussing on user experience.that is why people trust Nokia and is the most trusted brand in mobile phone industry after Apple.it is taken for granted that Nokia phones will be superior in design ,buildquality,in hand feel and UI tweaks maintaining the Nokia legacy through years.now I come to the point and discuss salient features of Nokia 7.2 which I don't find elsewhere in midrange category.1) when we use an android smartphone,we want the software as pure and unadultered as Google intended it to be putting aside extra features and unnecessary adornments.this is what Nokia provides in Nokia 7.2 ,an android one device with compulsory monthly updates for at least two years and two major upgrades.this ensures security and provides up to dateness.which other brands refrain from and device support is deficient.2)we want our phone

 • so, this was released in my country over the weekend and got mine today. pros: excellent for everyday, casual use and good enough for games. display is crisp and clear. has good camera and can even be better if you know how to use the pro feature. the side led indicator is a nice added feature, a feature that i liked on my old bb classic. cons: it cost about us$315. i believe, for it's specs, should be just around us$230 or less. the body and frame is made of plastic which feels cheap and flimsy. which definitely having a protective case is a must given also that the camera is protruding. included earphone is cr4p. either it works or it doesn't. overall: i like it. this should last me for at least 2 years. a 4ah battery would also be nice

 • Am not interested but thanks for the offer, as for "how i am"... well i am actually to good to be light;) so none of your descriptions fits me, try in the mirror, maybe there you'll have more luck.

 • Ugh of course, I have to wait for a moderator to approve my comment. If you want to see what it says give me your email or some way to contact you because I saw this coming and copied it before posting it. (It's 400+ words on how wrong/ignorant/hypocritical you are)

 • Oh right, me, the one who doesn't think the $350 phone with an LCD and a 660 is the one who doesn't know what they're talking about. Nope, that's not how this works m8. Wow you're tied as the most hypocritical and mentally incompetent person I've seen today. You're right, the 660 is nowhere near the "best in class," it's about 1/3 as good as the "best in class." And that's the reason so many devices are using it. Manufacturers like Nokia aren't trying to give you good performance for the money, (I hope you weren't slow enough to actually think that) no, they want to get the most money out of you possible, while putting in as little money as possible. The 660 is cheap garbage, so they use it. And oh boy you have no clue how bad LCDs are apparently. LCDs these days are barely any better than they were half a decade ago. They're still cruddy displays with terrible backlights that prevent actual blacks from being displayed. You didn't even say Nokia's terrible "ClearBlack Display technology" right. (further proving your ignorance) It didn't help their cruddy LCD displays back in 2010, and it most certainly doesn't help them now. The blacks are not "pure black" like you lied about, nowhere near it. And it saves 0% of your battery. A filter does nothing at all for your battery. However, actually shutting the pixels off, which a vastly superior OLED can do, does save battery. The statement "am actually prefering them over amoleds just cause better on screen battery life." is pretty god damn stupid if you ask me, not only because of the terrible grammar, but also because of the idiotic logic. Even with Android 10's mediocre implementation of dark mode, OLEDs still save way more power in it due to another reason you lied about. Even dark grays save power on OLEDs. To call an LCD bad in any way, is just pure facts. This phone is not "balanced" whatever that means. True balance was 2 years ago with the LG V30. It was an overall above average phone with no real sacrifices in comparison to the competition that was either using bad displays, bad cameras, adding notches, removing the headphone jack, etc. This phone makes sacrifices in many ways. Many many ways. And could you translate "disperate haus husbands" to English for me please, because I don't speak gibberish. "Carol," you're just like the other person I just had to write an essay for because a few words couldn't describe how dumb you sound/are.

 • Poor battery life performance and outdated soc

 • you are very correct regarding the MiA3. I have used it as couple of my family members have it. As much an issue it seems for tech review guys, that amoled 720p pannel is very usable. At that price with such processer ram, indisplay scanner, Android one, best camera quality in segment, litterally 2 days battey life, HMD simply don't have any justification for their pricing. But being a Nokia fan i have not given up on them yet. I wish my 7.2 could have a lot better for what I paid. Let's see when HMD corrects its course and listens to fans who have started their mobile.journy with a Nokia.

 • Your one of the biggest wannabe in this gsma community. Look in the mirror for once in your life when you start to talk about wannabe. There is no thing like better build quality cause it's Nokia. We dont live in 20th century where everything was made to last forever. I take Xiaomi Mi A3 over this junk of 7.2 every day on a week. I even get TWO Mi A3 phones for the price of ONE Nokia 7.2 Mi A3 cons over 7.2 is updated version of cpu SD665, AMOLED screen even tough it's 720p only and close to 30 hours more on battery life and mi a3 is a bit more compact on it's size and even have faster fast charger then Nokia. What exactly is that what makes you think two A3 price for one 7.2 is better option ? Both have clean android OS on them. I have had most of my phones Nokia phones but none of my Nokia phones have been from HMD cause i dont buy my self a phone to show off how dumb i am when i buy 2 times of the price jjust for brand name and then talk about some build quality that is the most re tar ded thing to justify anything when the build quality is exactly the same. And when we talk about material then Nokia material isnt Platinum or Gold with Diamonds that justify that they are better materials and there for need to cost 2 times the value

 • Terrible 660? Wow... it is actually sad to see people that do not understand technology talking about it in a way that proove ignorance at alarming levels. Actually it scratches my eyes. Snapdragon 660 is not the best in class this days, but for sure is not terrible. If it would be, there would not have been so many devices using it, so It gotta work. As for LCD, (just another ignorant statement). LCD's this days are actually pretty damn good and with Nokia pure black filter they are even better and with systems like Android or IOs that are not even a mile close to windows phone 8's pure black interface, am actually prefering them over amoleds just cause better on screen battery life. Even android 10 won't do to much to help for battery saving because dark mode is not black and will still turn the full panel on no matter what, and with the full panel on, oh amoled dries that juice up... plus, no matter what, burn-in will happen because of the natural deterioration of the panel. Now LCD got so far that actually this days puting it against amoled it resumes to only a preference more then anything else. And to call LCD in any bad way, is nothing but ignorance. As for this Nokia... well it might not be the best ever, cause it ain't, but is one of the most balanced. A clean os that will be updated, good quality materials, good call quality, good camera, good screen (i might just say great screen) and good internals. This device is not for disperate haus husbands that buy the latest tech because it sounds good on paper, or for benchmarks numbers hunters, is for people who need a good stable well made device. As i always said, to each his own. And coming here screaming BAD Bad, is just ignorance or bashing propaganda.

 • Ok it's still got a terrible 660 and an LCD? Your point?

 • Ps if i am addressing to you like i do, does not mean i am shutting down the doors to other brands, couse i give a good chance to any of them, besides xiamummy and whatever disposible devices China releses( it has more to do with priciples and a good sense of privacy then anything else). It actually means i am tired of useless comments made by useless m'''s, that are clearly using lies to bash and propaganda to stear people away, oh how i hate this wannabes.

 • You mean your 'Imaginary' family member? Anything expect nokia is better in this price budget.. thats for sure

 • Don't you feel that discussing with this guy is wrong? Why are you interested in committing the same mistake, when you have got enough proofs that it is a mistake.

 • And to end your claim. A horible system vs a good Clean one. But hey, to each his own. Let's bet i put this device against the other two you just listed and in real life the only difference is that Nokia is faster and better builded and that battery of your holds like this nokia's maybe a bit more, but for sure nothing game changing. I gotta know, a family member owns an a70(one of the few that does not owe a nokia). Let's say he/she did not have patience to wait for 7.2 and now regrets it, cause well boy that system is a mess from top to buttom, and the device it self lacks any sort of personaliy, it is just another generic slab, nothing impresive, nothing to talk about, nothing to praise.

 • And zmto and your claim. A horible syszem vs a good Clean one. But hey, to each his own. Let's bet i put this device against the other two you just listed and in real life the only difference is that Nokia is faster and better builded and that battery of your holds exactly like this nokia's. Wanna bet?

 • I own two Xiaomi phones and this never happened to me. I am pretty sure this is not common in global Xioami products. Maybe this is exclusive to China/India? We all have our own preferences, you seem to have noticed some selling points for that phone summed up in support and warranty. For all of its other specs, this phone is definitely lacking to be released in late 2019. Just put it next to any phone for the same price and you will see how much more you can get just by not buying a Nokia. Think of Xiaomi's Mi 9T or Samsung Galaxy A70. They are roughly the same price, but the value you get from a Mi 9T or an A70 is well worth that of Nokia's 7.2, especially that Nokia released this phone few months after the mentioned models, with lower specs. You get AMOLED screen, Corning Gorilla Glass 5, WAY better chipset (Snapdragon 730 for Mi 9T vs Snapdragon 660 on the Nokia), bigger battery (4500 mAh for A70 vs 3500 on Nokia) and fast charging (18W for Mi 9T, 25W for A70), which is very common now but Nokia is still using 10W chargers on their phones... etc

 • Even people with nokia devices bashes HMD global and that device.. why? Because its not good compared to other devices on same budget.. HMD doing everything wrong with nokia devices.. Old outdated designs, Poor battery, outdated processor, priced expensive.. their new motto should be 'High pricing and outdated specs'.. Now Its the truth and most of people will agree to it unlike you.. and your opinion doesn't matter.. I don't know what you see in these poor devices maybe you are an outdated person too in rl... There is a reason why nokia once dominated the smartphone market now only owns 1% of market share.. people don't even ask for your opinion nad yet you show up give contradicting facts and defend a slowly dying company.. which I bet only outdated person would agree too where you don't have enough options for smartphone and probably nokia is only great brand through which I can assume how poor smartphone market is in your country if you still think nokia is making great phones

 • The price is for 6 gb ram 128 gb version

 • Ps of course you cannot change someones opinion, vut for sure you try really hard.

 • So,you looked at the mirror and saw me getting mad? Splitting the truth has nothing to do with what you said. So does reviewing. To comment about Nokia an "sincere reviewing one" that person should at least owe one. Again coming here and throwing randome words, it ain't splitting the truth, it is called bashing... Keyboard worrior? Then what are you? Keyboard jocker? As for making people buy or whatever you again randomly throw words in...hmm let me guess:i started telling people how good chinese devices are and how they should stop buying Nokia because they are "oh, so bad"? Just asking cause for sure you gotta have a problem with perception of reality. There are a lot of you this days...or there is just you with different names doing it's norm to get paied and i am to much in your way...

 • Buy your nokia 1 then lol.. who cares? lol I have no objection objections as I cannot change someone's opinion unlike some people here comenting in gsmarena and geting mad when someone split the truth about nokia devices.. get some anger management classes you keyboard warrior lol

 • India and china alone has more mobile consumers than australia, whole europe and other few countries combined.. If you dominate indian and chineese market its alone enough to say that you're selling more phones than whole europe, australia and africa combined.. US is the 3rd largest mobile market where iphone dominates

 • Exactly my point... Don't know why this user gets mad when someone give their honest negetive review about nokia phones lol

 • I appreciate Nokia for giving clean android as my friends Xiaomi phones showing a unwanted ad while just swiping the screen LOL then he said i tried to remove it but the app is inbuilt and its a "Xiaomi browser". So do you like these experience with your phones? No other phone on this price range will give you PureDisplay SDR to HDR conversion, Zeiss Optics, Android one with 3 year software update support and with dedicated mermory card slot mind it. For performance point of view Nokia will give you till Android 11 and they are there to optimize it then why bother even my Nokia 6 2017 with sd430 having Android 9 Pie and its still working smooth. In real world processor doesn't matter at all as long as your phone life never end and you are not ignored even on 3rd year of your phone. Main thing which matter is your experience with the phones with you are using. HMD Nokia have made many partnerships to provide you with better software experience then other thats why they charge you more money then your crappy chinese phones which support ads and make your life worse later on.

 • I hope Nokia are paying you well to keep spamming your pro-Nokia comments. And you just proved my point that Nokia's only selling point is their brand loyalty and unaware customers. If you keep spamming more I'll make sure to get you banned for breaking posting rules.

 • So, a guy that claims he owns a nokia then praises chinese "brands", tells me to stop being blind? That is actually funny, minding the fact that you are so cought up in your world, you actually believe you can come here with your bs claims, speak them out and everybody applauds... henche the "oh i have one" but my imaginary friends have this oneplus thing and they are oh better". The chinese do not dominate the market, but yes, they sure want to. You are probably one of their selling strategies. They might have a lot of influence in china and india (go figure), that ain't the world sun! They also do not sell because they are good, they actually sell because they are cheep. And they are cheep because they are low quality. In europe, USA and Australia you ain't gonna see them rising too soon. Most probably their copy industry ends because smartphones are not relevant anymore before they even manage to step heavy on european soil. And now, to exit in good manners: i rather buy Nokia 1 without battery and with a broken screen then pay any dime to xiamummy or oneminus for their ads-full OS, their 3.rd quality hardware batches they paied for and their stollen innovation. That would be against my principles, knowlege and well being. Now, go tell your bs somewhere else, i ain't interested.

 • Oh, really, you don't say? Tell me, what a good cpu looks like? Do you even know what that is? How it works and what bad means? Do you actually know what's the use of one? The algorithms? So to understand, a year ago, this cpu was the best for midragers and now, suddently is bad? Give yourself a break, and stop showing maximum ignorance here. Go comment somewhere else, everywhere else their are a lot of ignorants, so they agree. Here you actually met me. And with me, you actually need to get your knowlege beefed up, cause now, all i see is an i''t.

 • Doesn't even stand a chance in compare to oneplus devices.. Which proves that chinese brands are dominating the market.. they ain't dominating smartphones market for no reason but the fact that Chinese devices are far better than Nokia devices.. Stop being a blind fanboy and see..

 • Lol.. I said it once, said it twice, said it again and again and now gonna say it one more time.. Xaiomi actually gives what a consumer asks for in their device.. better processor, better screen, better battery But what HMD does is gives false statements like 'A device which keeps getting better' '2 days battery life' claims etc.. except software updates ofcourse.. Now I'm using Nokia 8.1 which I purchased at the price almost equal to Oneplus 6 and oneplus 6T at that time..my friend got a one plus 6 T.. For almost the exact same price.. And seriously Nokia devices doesn't even stan

 • Its lacks fast charging,a good processor, better battery or better battery optimization which is the key point which a customer notes before buying any device.. The reason HMD has lack of money is because their device sucks which results in poor sales cause a smart person will never buy these poor devices

 • Their is absolutly no reason for you to comment here, yet, you do. The most funny part is the lacking one. Tell me, what is it missing? As far as i know is a device, turns on, so there must be battery inside, it passes the bios and enters an operating system, so, it musst be having storage, and a system installed, it takes pictures, gotta have a camera, oh it actually works like all other devices. But yeah, HMD have a lack of money for the so called reviewers.

 • There's absolutely no reason for anyone to buy this phone, unless you can get of for a massive discount. It's otherwise lacking in many areas especially for that price. Nokia are not trying to price their products competitively, they're just relying on marketing and customer loyalty. It's not going to last them long though.

 • Do you even hear yourself? Go buy xiaomi, they are better...for you.

 • I believe 2 kind of people are purchasing these Nokia phones, ones who know Nokia and its legacy, and other is people who love Nokia and want to see it succeed in this new start.

 • Endurance rating 69h terrible

 • Js but all people who purchased nokia 7.2 made a bad choice.. Its not a good device and there are many better alternatives to this device in this price range even cheaper.. Read the reviews.. Poor battery life, poor camera, poor performance and with updates it only going to get worse.. just the opposite of what nokia says

 • An user review for Nokia 7.2 Look and feel - Very good materials are used, even if the rim is made of poly carbonate it feels cold if you hold it after long time. Screen - I don't have any issue with the notch or the Bezels. Screen is comparable to cheap FHD+ AMOLEDS in normal use and in color reproduction. Blacks are almost there. Brightness is fine. Screen is a bit reflective. Dynamic mode in pure display can be assigned to each application with different modes like Original, Photo,Video,Read, Game. This is a good feature. Call quality - Call quality is very good, Ear piece output is loud, I have to keep the volume at around 50% while at quieter places. Speaker - is okay and loud. Processing - Mine is 6 GB RAM with 64 GB, Tasks are super snappy, even if 15 tasks are open the phone is snappy. I don't game a lot so could not comment. Tasks remain in RAM and start from where you left. Camera - Simply saying, Nokia camera software is very Unreliable and Inconsistent. I have to install a Google Cam mod as soon as 2nd day of my use. Main camera shoots pictures with great detail, pictures are mostly in darker side. Wide angle - it just does its job, colors are muted, details are missing Low light photos from Nokia cam are very poor when you compare same with GCAM night sight output. Front camera is good in daily life use. Battery - Battery when in full charge the device will tell you more than 2 days to go. But as you start using the phone battery life reduces, i am consistently getting 4.30 hrs to 5.00 hrs of SOT and i am not very happy with it. With 2 sim cards in use battery life takes a hit and the SOT reduces considerably. Battery does not support Quick charge but takes more than 1.40 hrs to charge fully. Bugs : Finger print scanner did not respond at all, rebooted the phone and then tried, it respond. Happened couple of times in my 30 days of use. Phone rebooted suddenly Once, while browsing chrome. nothing was lost it just came onto same place after reboot. Phone feels warm to hot after using continuously for 15-20 mins. just in normal use.

 • Top and bottom bezels could be smaller. SDM 675 or 712 fits to this phone based on the price. 18W charging is nice too if it had it.

 • The 660 for $350? An LCD? 4 gigs of RAM? Why is Nokia so terrible at releasing good phones?

 • Me too. I like this phone.

 • Only that they are, later today.

 • That's probably why they're not reviewing this phone

 • Have my a week ago but didn't face any such issues

 • Guys,Just got te set 4 days back.Nokia seriously needs to do something . 1.Face unlock horrible. 2.Finger touch horrible. 3.Call doesnt gets disconnected every time. 4.Camera update Hope Nokia will take care with software update.

 • Please, do a review on this - I'm only seeing kind of unreliable reviews and I'm pretty much waiting for yours to decide if I should pull the trigger or not. What's the hold-up? Don't tell me that you guys decided to prioritize the One Zoom over this one?

 • 10w is actually fast charging, the difference tgou, is not as fast as 18w, but is fast enough to charge your device with this battery in about 1:45 hour, maybe even fatser if you do not use it. Their are extreme fast chargers tgis days at a wooping 45w, i would not count on that battery to last long tough. Way too much strain on it.

 • I do not know if it's faster then huaway but Bokia devices in general never slow down, i have a good amount of experience with them (around my family now) and they never let down. Some say they had problems, i do not know, i never had and i am talking of a variaty of devices (nokia 8, 6, 5, 7.1, 9) none is slow or "kaput" Nokia 8 and 5 are running into their 3d year now, never saw a slowdown. If you like pure android (and for some: lack of default futures huaway has and pure does not) they i recomand this device hands down. No bloatware (besides googles, well it can be deactivated but at least their are not 30 apps to deactivate...like in samesung), updates are comming, good build and quality.

 • No

 • read above...

 • no fast charging only 10 W charger.. is it 2019 phone. Didn't expect this from NOKIA.

 • I wabt to ask 3 questios 1.is the phone slower than huawei p30 lite 2.after 2 years will the phone become slow, because after 2 years there won't come upsates, am i corrext? 3. I want to buy a good smart phone to use more than 3 years, really would you recommand this phone to it?

 • Is this based on hate or ?

 • Does this have a charging port problem?

 • This i don't think you have the right device here

 • AMOLED is power hungry,,,besides these IPS LCD screens super clear I don't know if you got issues with viewing

 • It is all about money and No nothing Else matters ... Enough is Enough ... Note 9 ... Fin

 • but have you tried with 18W charger? because nokia claimed its 10W because the charger they are providing with the box which supports only 10W charging but if we use 18W charger it will work. Please try if you people have both Nokia 7 plus/Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 7.2 to check whether the phone supports 18W fast charging

 • This phone processor is used lower one compared to Nokia 8 and pixel density also less.

 • It's 10w. So that is fast charging. Although the market has faster charging systems.

 • Can someone who actually owns the phone confirm whether or not it has fast charging ?

 • It's coming next week. I've emailed them about it and they replied that the review it's coming up soon.

 • my exact questi9n

 • Anyone knows the ip rating of this phone?

 • They all currently busy on crappy huawei phones with no google services support at all People who buy those crappy huawei phones will be on same condition where lumia users are

 • They are Busy doing useless reviews of china/india only phones instead of global models

 • Yes me too, about time for a review.

 • Isn't GSMArena going to do a full, in-depth review of this phone? I've been waiting.

 • 100% you do not have this device, wanna bet?

 • 1. Software, 2. Software again & 3. probably software to... x-x

 • No Helio G90T? D:

 • With Nokia 8.1's current pricing here in South East Asia, it's main contender in Xiaomi's counterpart would be the Mi 9T 6/128GB (which is even a bit cheaper) pricewise. It's only Nokia that still offers eMMC storage for their 8.1's price-point, it's ridiculous. It seems as though they can't secure high-end SoCs in bulk together with UFS storage and AMOLED displays and just sells whichever they can secure at the moment.

 • Little Low compare to other Chinese brand.

 • Super advantageus for battery.

 • Three complaints I have 1. Hanging in every operation 2. Very slow 3. Battery not lasting even for one day

 • Sharing personal information to Chinese government?? How about we discuss SNOWDEN files??

 • No super amoled display.that is a disadvantage

 • I kind of daubt they use this strategy minding the fact they have manufacturing problems with Foxconn who put them at "last important". It is more like, they can't manage to produce enough for me...

 • They are sold out because they stock low quantity. It's a marketing tactic. I worked at a smartphone shop they only provided us 30 percent of our demand order. They want to create a sold out that's kinda hot scenario. Market manipulation. It's a good tactic though.

 • Where is the cheaper 7 plus than 7.2 / 7.2 is 299 USD but 7 plus is 401usd.

 • All these phones have their ups and downs in every way

 • My gosh, not yet release but already sold out both in Lazada & Shoppee in the Philippines... Wish to have the new stocks asap.. I will buy this unit... The return to Nokia brand

 • Strongly agree. Whoever is coming up with ideas for Nokia doesn't seem to be passionate about his job. I've no idea why they'd make this phone when Nokia 7 Plus is better and cheaper than it.

 • A50 has better performance. P30 Lite has better cameras. But Nokia 8.1 is better than all of them in every way. And consider Nokia 7 Plus instead of Nokia 7.2.

 • Nope, Xiaomi is overpriced everywhere except India and a handful of countries. There isn't a single Xiaomi phones that is even worth considering in any price range where I live. Top that off with poor built quality, Lower performance than specs, Lower battery endurance than specs, Crappy MIUI full of bugs and ads, Below average cameras. And you get a phone no smart person would buy even if offered at 40% discount. Nokia 8 with Snapdragon 835 outperforms Pocofone with SD 845. It plays PUBG on Ultra HD lag free, while Pocfone manages HDR at best and heats up in 2 hours despite its cooling system? Nokia 8 has 3090 mAh battery and still lasts just as long in PUBG as Pocfone F1 with 4000 mAh battery - despite N8 having QHD resolution display. As you said, I've used it :) Another successful phone of Xiaomi is Redmi Note 7. - It has the lowest performance of all SD 660, Helio P60, P70 & Kirin 710 phones I know of and I know over a dozen of them. - It has one of the worst battery endurance I've seen in 4000 mAh battery phones. - Specs say it has 18 watt charging but it charges only 20 minutes faster than any 10 watt charger phone. Hell, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 charges faster than it despite 10 watt charging lmao. - I've never seen any phone having as much problems as RN7. Read its users reviews wherever you want.

 • Nokia 7 Plus is significantly cheaper than Mi A2 here and you need a drug test if you think Mi A2 is better in any way. Nokia 7 Plus has LVL 3 compatibility with Pixel 4 Gcam. Do you know what that means? It can capture the details/pattern on a fly's wings from over 2 meters away. It has one of the best cameras in its price that beats even iPhone 7 Plus. Nokia 7 Plus has much bigger battery, better quality, better camera apertures, same chipset but with higher benchmark scores, has audio jack and it doesn't have the common issue that 90% of Xiaomi phones do: poor signal reception. So do you mind clarifying what is that makes Mi A2 better?

 • The good old mobile phone with normal dimensions is long gone… sadly. if even Sony releases a "compact" which is 6.1 inches…

 • It's not a Chinese brand and has the stock Android. That means it will get faster security updates and not come with Chinese government spyware pre-installed.

 • Why you chinese phone lovers came here. my friend having Redmi Note 7 Pro with full of ads even unwanted ads popup just only by swiping to the home screen. LOL i started laughing on him then he realize the difference between a clean android and bloatware.

 • And you can share your personal information with Chinese government!! how exciting is that?

 • No doubt for you. I do not need to think about it cause i already know, so i do not doubt that xiaomi is a crapp. Second, i my self, am a person with principles and they are quite strong especially in computing industry, where i do not give a dime for ad-hoc companies that appeared like mushrooms after the rain and got rich on others back without giving a dime for innovation. And is actually sad to see the mass of ignorants doing it...

 • Like how obsessed nokia fans says.. 'Don't go over specification on paper.. use and find by yourself'.. I suggest u get a cheaper xiaomi phone.. which definately will be way cheaper than nokia and has better specs' then compare.. Xiaomi will beat your nokia.. and the difference in price is huge too..

 • In what factors can you explain me? Display? Build Quality? Optimization? Camera? Picture quality in terms of real life colours instead of paint colors? Network? Call Quality? Now what factors left only lowest price? LOL i know on that Xiaomi is better but not on quality.

 • My Sony wireless head phone not detected in bluetooth, but fine with mi band or samsung tv???

 • Jesus f****** christ 6.3 inches?? 160mm tall?? Say goodbye to the good old MOBILE phone...

 • Thanks for your feedback. I'll look into it.

 • Nokia 7.2 because among all those phones, you get the best value for money, best build quality and best looks, especially that green color. And you get android one standard as all Nokia phones. Nokia 7.2 is a very solid choice.

 • Carol, Xiaomi is the best when compared to Nokia in almost all aspects, no doubt on that.

 • Outperform? Not only that is a very exagerated claim, it is also just said, not to shut up... How can a crappy oppo or ximimi outperform Nokia with the same RAM and cpu? Especially that this Companies mostly use low quality manufacturing batches of hardware (cpu, ram, storage)? Let's not talk not to shut up, shell we? And as for the price, India is not the only land on this planet, you know? In europe actually Nokia brings great value for money, and xiaomi is not worth buying, whoever pays more then 600€ for brand like xiomi must be ill of some sort of blidness inducing infection or something.

 • Checked! Anyone else?...

 • You are very delusional my friend. I own a nokia 7 plus and when i compared my phone with MI A2 it lost from a big margin. They both have S660 processor and 4GB of ram. And let me also tell you that nokia 7 plus cost twice the price of MI A2. The only thing that is got going for nokia is its build quality and brand value. Otherwise a sub 15xxx phone from Xiaomi and oppo easily outperforms its overpriced Nokia counterparts.

 • For the fact that is smarter then you?

 • Samsung A50, huawei p30 lite 6 gb, nokia7.2 or oppo a9 2020 ? Best option to purchase.

 • CPU Octa-core (4x2.2 GHz Kryo 260 & 4x1.8 GHz Kryo 260) GPU Adreno 512

 • no amoled no gpu no cpu what pay for?

 • Don't just look at specs and think Chinese Brands are good.. buy it use it, u'll feel the difference between Chinese brands and Nokia..

 • Nokia can optimize the apps. Compare Nokia phones with SD 660 and other brands with sd7xx. Either Nokia beats them or they are equal. Nokia beats other phones in ram management, speed in apps opening pages loading and others.

 • Nokia with Snapdragon 660 is like other brands with Snapdragon 7xxx because Nokia knows how to optimize apps to make them run smoothly

 • Lol go to samsung m30s page and see lot of issues on the phone. Go buy your favorite 6000mah battery phone and let your life busy to charge your phone and never hesitate to get network issues with the phone.

 • Bigger battery please

 • Hi Please any one reply how is the audio output while using earphone

 • Its like Nokia is deliberately releasing unimpressive devices to make its customers lose interest! I recently looked at the Nokia line up, comparing it with even upcoming chinese brands like Realme, I was totally disappointed and put off. Nokia isn't doing anything to win back and impress its customers and the world alike. Most devices released are average, underwhelming with last generation specs, ridiculously priced and poor and non strategic timing for releases. Its like they need to be schooled on how to strife in this world competitive smartphone business. The only devices HMD did right were the 7+, 8 Sirrocco and 8.1 with respect to their time of production. Nokia is the only one in the position to take the fight to the likes of Apple, Samsung, Huawei and Oneplus, but they are just too way behind and may never catch up at this rate.

 • One more reason for buying nokia 8.1 over nokia 7.2 is that Nokia 8.1 just became 1st nokia device to get android 10 public release.. nokia 8.1 beats nokia 7.2 by far..

 • battery have no t greater than 3500mah need to 5000 mah battery and storage with 6gb Ram and 128 gb internal woth triple slot.... range between 17000/- to 18500/-

 • waiting for the same

 • Most smartphones nowadays have non removable batteries, so what's your point ?

 • microphone is not working

 • Or that new Mediatek helio chip that match the 710/730 would be nice...

 • Just a deception : non replaceable battery ... reminds me of the Lumia 930 failure.

 • get Redmi note 7, it has very similar specs, with cheaper price.

 • A Snapdragon 660 on a Nokia 7 of 2019??? Come on he bare minimum would be 670 or 710. You had this in a phone that's almost 2 years old. You have to make the effort to get customers interested.

 • Does ANYONE have an opinion about the phone itself that is technical in nature and not related to religious debate and OS development?

 • Really beautiful and rigid.

 • Oh blast where is my Helio P60 or P65? :<

 • In the midst of an argument, I missed your post. Though I know the answers for your queries, I am not interested to reply just because it lands up in arguments. Answers are there for all your queries in the www. It is just sufficient if you develop the thirst for learning. Just Google your queries and get enlightened. Frame your own belief system and enjoy your life. Good Luck.

 • I am not a born genius like you. Your way of writing proves that. Whatever I speak and write, I learned it from my parents, teachers, books, internet and society. I think Wikipedia can be found only on the internet. Even in a courtroom cases are argued based upon laws which are already framed upon. No lawyer can frame their own laws. I am happy that you have admitted that I claim things with real facts.

 • That will be Microsoft... but i am sure you ain't gonna see it happen.

 • Revive the windows Os please

 • Did you just gone wikipedia on me? Youp, the debate is over. It makes no sense do continue a discusion with someone who talks only flying donkies then calls me unkowing then goes wikipedia on me trying to clearify a laughable claim with real facts. Oh, nope, thanks. Have a good day too.

 • Yes, I do say the same thing again by stressing it by adding one more word; "Though Android is open for all it has indirectly become the property of Google alone since no one uses it." Try to understand the meaning of it properly by asking someone who knows better. Android was developed initially by Android Inc., before it was bought by Google, The core Android source code is primarily licensed under the Apache License which is a free software license written by Apache Software Foundation. The choultry built by Google has indirectly become the property of Google alone since no other person is ready to use it. Now, this choultry is governed by a Closed Source Software App of Google - The "Play Store". I am not saying anything wrong about Google. I am just explaining how they function. Let us end our debate here. If you still feel that I am wrong, so be it. Good Luck and Bye, bye.

 • P.s sorry for being roude. Sometimes i get angry when i here wrong claims.

 • Talking giberisch again to mask the fact that you actually do not understand how technology works, does not make it any better. You said: "Though Android is open for all it has indirectly become the property of Google since no one uses it. This is the reason why Google takes pain in developing Android"

 • Can anyone help me with a good back cover for this nokia 7.2 here in india. I cant understand when all companies are giving back cover with mobile then why cant nokia provide one. There are barely cases available for cheap android phones.

 • Thanks for the detailed explanation. A simple psychological relevance. Microsoft or anyone will not buy or acquire something just because someone wishes to sell theirs. Without a wish no one would buy anything. The content of my message is to clarify people as to how the world works who doesn't know much like you do. Time will clarify everything. As you have said I might be wrong and you are right. Before ending up, I never talked about ownership of an Open Source Software. I only said it is totally free. I have said that iOS is more secured than Android. I haven't said that iOS is totally secured. For your information there is nothing in this world that is completely secured. Everything in this world has a backdoor. Even if there is none someone will create one. The world is reading all our messages here. Let them decide. Thanking you once again for your reply.

 • Sometimes I am highly sentimental. The world is becoming a graveyard because of the resident evil(s) in many people. What can I expect from the world that has crucified Lord Jesus and assassinated good human beings like Mahatma Gandhi? The world has been cursed when it crucified Lord Jesus. I Love Lord Jesus a lot though I am not a christian. He is a great friend of mine. Though he can forgive us, can we forgive ourselves. Everyone tries to become great without thinking about whether they are doing anything good.

 • Someone has to do it. Why not I? Moreover, I don't lose anything.

 • You can sure talk a lot but what you say has little to nothing to do with reallity. First of all, it is way easier to build backdoors in a closed source system, why is that? Cause nobody outside has the code, therefore nobody can actually see what you are doing. Of course, those who actually know something and want to spend a lot of time in reading the code (something that happend not a long time ago when there was a backdoor found in apple's products) can interfere with an apple firmware update and retrieve the code at some extantion, open it and start looking what is where and why... but do you even understand what a backdoor means? Probably not. Second, security has nothing to do with the systems beeing closed or opened. Actually i would bet on a opened then on a closed one, just cause on the opened one their are a tone of developers that struggle to make it safer and close the gaps. Third going back to the sources, any change in a opened source program, can and will be read by all developers that have something to do with it's development. Let's assume there are one, two hackers that will try to hack the system, but their written code is read by a tone of developers, then it has to be accepted by the head of developement and only then will be able to be pushed up in the master build. So much for packing backdoors ain't it? What a company does after taking the source into it's developement wing, is something else, and looks pretty much the same as apple, the code the x company further develope is a in-hause backery that no "outsider" can read (well, let's not forget anything can be seen if somebody really wants to), if they pack backdoors, well, apple did it... To end up with making the d understand: on the source you cannot do whatever you want, it ain't anarchy here. But you can take the code and do whatever you want with it on your side. Henche the FREE dilemma, cause really is free, an operating system whos source is actually free to use. Pretty much a copy paste, work on it, keep it for your self or try to sell it or... whatever. And the last one: it was not a microsoft mistake to buy Nokia. It was a Nokia mistake to work with microsoft. Any sain human can see the reality: Elop-> Mole killed Nokia -> sold it to microsoft, the perfect backdoor example. Nokia had a great system in it's development, the MeeGo, whos features are now to be seen in apples system and a bit in android. A system that was waaay ahead of it's time. They also had Symbian, a system whos capabilities till today are not surpassed and they had android comming hard. So you really think Nokia with all it's power and choices was going for Microsoft because they found it better? Or because that mole actually betrayed them in the most sneeky manner? Youp, the second is Gold, and it is actually a case to be written in history with the title: the snake of Nokia. As for all other giberisch of yours... android had another name and was bought by google if i am not mistaking in 2005. An open source does not mean, no owner... Where do you get your information? From the magic book of i know nothing? As i am tired to tackle all your high laughable "jokes" written here, i end up by saying: better teach yourself before talking would make much more sense when you talk and you won't be making a "full" out of your self when doing it...

 • I didn't say about the benefits of closed source OS, I have just said that I have nothing to do with that. It really doesn't matter to me as a user. I like windows mobile because the UI on the phone and on my PC is the same, I love this. the way I edit photos on my PC and on my phone is the same. There were some Microsoft services also, common apps were in the store. but they always came up with poor hardware and could not attract the customers, the market share went down, lost the attention of the devs that created the app gap. Otherwise, it was a good OS. there were live tiles and I can select a specific image for the photos tiles which is awesome. I can do that with "Launcher 10" on android but it will drain the battery faster and when you enter into any app the UI is the same boring and toyish.

 • Are you high😵😵!! As you have asked for help I shall help you, but I will not teach you, as I am your friend not a teacher. Please stop smoking so much weed!!! You're too high!!!

 • I hope you are a developer then let me know one answer "Can i Develop iphone/ios app on windows ? which apple have restricted but you can do it vice-versa. Another one Why can't i transfer files to IPHONE via bluetooth from an android phone? For Android better features can't you just search on internet what android os have provided us since many years and where Iphone is very late to introduce it? Google assistant is still have better accuracy then ios siri. Google Maps is still a way better then IOS Apple Maps. do you know apple have implemented 3D street view now as the Google Maps have already integrated a while ago.

 • LOL closed source close when their company close. See the Symbian, MeeGo. But open source never does like android. Open Source have many contributors which will make the platform feature rich.

 • Which is the best, Open Source or Closed Source? There is no one word answer to this. It depends upon the end user. For a mobile, I prefer a Closed Source just because of its security. iOS is more secured than Android. Open Source software is a free product, the best example being Linux. But a Closed Source Software is always costly. This cost can be adjusted if the owner of the Software wishes. For example if Apple wishes they can manufacture budget devices. Microsoft Mobile entered the scene to strike a balance between the two. Despite being a Closed Source they wanted to be both like Android and Apple, the reason why they acquired Nokia. (The biggest mistake made by Microsoft - Acquiring Nokia). I am writing about Microsoft here just because it has been referred by another post here. Speaking more about Microsoft is irrelevant here. Open Source being free can be used by anyone. Even Apple and Microsoft can use and implement Android if they wish. But Play Store is a Closed Software App. It belongs only to Google. Google earns only through Play Store License, Android One License, Sharing profits by selling Apps through their Play Store and Pixel devices. Though Android is open for all it has indirectly become the property of Google since no one uses it. This is the reason why Google takes pain in developing Android. But things have changed with Huawei. The Play Store app makes Android useless without it. Open Source Software being Open, it has no doors. Anyone can easily hack into it. But iOS being a Closed Source shuts their doors to hackers rendering high security. Apple calls for hackers to hack their iOS system to find out if there are any doors left open. A brilliant move by Apple. Things don't end here. I can discuss plenty of things if time is not a constraint. Wishing everyone Good Luck.

 • SD doesn't make a difference if the bench mark scores are not that much outdated

 • I know that you believe in Closed Source Operating System as you've talked about Windows Mobile. But, speaking about Windows Mobile here is beyond the scope as they have decided to end their services. Secondly, a person who believes in iOS shouldn't make an appearance here just to say that he likes their nonexisting competitor (Microsoft). If you really believe in iOS then please try to help the world by saying something about it. You may explain the benefits of Closed Source Operating System. There is no point in arguing about anything irrelevant. Good Luck.

 • As you have asked for help I shall help you, but I will not teach anyone because I always like to be a friend than being a teacher. Which is safer; being in a closed house when there are plenty of dinosaurs outside or escaping to a forest which has plenty of wolfs. There is nothing wrong being ignorant but it would become a crime if you don't get enlightened. Everything is available in the www. It is just enough, if you develop the thirst for learning.

 • ok, help me learn the benefits of an open-source OS to a customer end.

 • If you are a vegetarian you don't know the taste of chicken. I wish to be a helper instead being a teacher. Wishing you Good luck.

 • Did you mean open source or just open/close eco system as Microsoft will end support to Windows 10 Mobile and there is no app update for the platform. If you meant the latter one them You are right. But if you meant the previous one then I really am not interested. IOS is doing great despite being not an open source platform. Thanks

 • Actually this has something important to do with end consumers. If interested find out for yourself. Thanks for replying.

 • It doesn't matter, I have nothing to do with that

 • Check out whether it belongs to an Open or Closed Eco System.

 • whatever, Windows 10 Mobile is the best OS.

 • Thanks for detailed reply.

 • Nokia is good but it,s still far behind from others.I mean come on SD6xx in 2019! That,s far out dated.it should have the SD7xx series or other good performance processors. But it,s sad to say that Nokia is still in SD6xx in 2019 with over price.Nokia should make a flagship killer like others.

 • Shall clear your second doubt but can't clear your first as I don't own one. What is the difference between Quick Charging and Normal Charging a battery? Different types of batteries have different charging specifications. Any rechargeable battery would require a minimum of 10% current of its capacity for recharge. But the maximum current that could be given to a battery for recharge differs according to its type. Quick charging amounts to recharging the battery at the maximum current as specified in the spec sheet of the particular type of battery. Though all types of batteries can withstand the maximum current specified as given in its spec sheet, do you think it is advisable to do so. This charging current passes through a circuit before entering the battery. This implies that this circuit should also withstand the charging current. How can we know that this circuit can withstand this maximum charging current? From the spec sheet of the mobile itself. Only if the spec sheet of the device deliberately clarifies that the device can support quick charge. If it is not specified this circuit will blow off in due course of time. I use to charge my device using only 5v/10% current of the capacity of the battery. I don't use the charger supplied with the device since it exceeds this capacity. I use another charger with lesser current specification. If you recharge your battery with minimum current your battery would last longer. Recharge your device when you go to bed. This simple 10% charge will not affect your battery even when it is fully charged. At any point of time it is not advisable to use a charging voltage greater than 5v for any device that employs a 3.6v battery. Quick chargers employ 9v for recharging.

 • Can someone post the real screen ontime figures for Nokia 7.2 and the real life battery backup received in moderate to heavy usage. Also is this model compatible to the SD Quickcharge and out of box charger is not capable of fast charging.

 • Update to my previous message... What are the advantages of an OPEN Eco System and CLOSED Eco System? In each case who is the beneficiary?

 • What is an Open Eco System and how does it differ from the Closed Eco System and how does it impact consumers? What do you mean by "Strict Behaviour and Policy"? What is the use of Bluetooth and is it not possible to realize the same results on an iPhone? Please check HOW? What more contribution is made to and by Android greater than that is made to and by iOS? Please explain in detail how Android is superior to iOS. Just say a single thing about Android that is not possible in iOS. As you say that an iPhone is used just for Chatting and Texting, may I know for what an Android phone is used. I am eagerly waiting to receive the answers from you. You answer should be clear and professional. I don't like to argue but, I trying to help people through my messages.

 • about the last statement still i will not buy apple phones due to their strict behaviour and policy. There is no bluetooth. Apple can't be android because apple will never be universal and open source. The best part of android is it is Open source. Apple is selling their phone is because its higher price which attracts consumers of that category and likes to share their status among all and thats all. Hardly people who buy apple phones know about their phone os i.e iphone os and use their phone only to chat, text and call like a feature phone. Because of Android and it is open source there are more contributors from the globe to make it even better then any other os.

 • Don't give importance to the Brand or the Beauty of the pen you use. Think about what you going to write with it.

 • Update to my previous message... Do you know that manufacturing a mobile is very cheap? It is actually the certifications and distribution channel that consumes most of our money.

 • Update to my previous message... Do you know that every app developer shares 30% of profit with Google? Instead of paying for Android One license it would be worthier if the manufacturer intend to spend to make the device better or to reduce the price of the device.

 • Update to my previous message... Do you know that for a device to be certified as Android One, the manufacturer has to share profits with Google?

 • Do you know some secrets and hidden facts? 1. Do you know that the fingerprint reader and face recognition is eating your battery and RAM? The corresponding algorithms has to reside in the memory of the phone when the phone is idle. Though it should be so it would reside in the memory at all times like the way some apps does. These algorithms require battery power to function. The best secured lock is the PIN lock. 2. Do you know that a third party launcher eats away your RAM and slows down your processor? The most optimized launcher is the one that comes with Android One devices. Google keeps their launcher free from gimmicks to help the processor run smoothly. We shouldn't compare our mobiles with a computer. In a computer the instruction set is COMPLEX. Here in a mobile it is REDUCED. To be honest all the UIs that accompanies other brands eats away RAM and slows down the processor. The pitiable part is that we can't notice these delays. 3. Do you know that the 48, 64, ..., 108 MP cameras are gimmicks? A simple good SONY 12 MP camera can do wonders. The best combination of a triple camera sensor setup is 12+12+16 MP. 4. Do you know that, to launch a mobile as a Pure Android device doesn't require any license? License is required only if the phone needs to be certified as Android One. This Android One license is an agreement between the manufacturer and Google to stick to standards agreed upon and to provide Android updates for a span of two years and security updates for a span of three years. To my belief, just Pure Android is sufficient; the device need not be an Android One because most of the devices don't last for more than an year. Even if it lasts we change it. 5. Does anyone know what will happen to Android if Apple decides to sell budget devices? I think this requires no explanation.

 • LOL do you play F1 racing on your POCO F1 phone?

 • Yes i too use google files no third party apps required and its still better as we can clean temporary files so dont need clean master and Google Files also have file sharing hence no ad supported shareit is required. I removed shareit and clean master once started using awesome Google Files straight from Google.

 • I am fully satisfied with poco f1...

 • When I had my 7 plus and 7.1 I didn't use a 3rd party file explorer, I just used the Google files and it allowed me to view internal and SD storage as well as otg storage

 • I use to use CPL launcher from the app store as it's light in file size and doesn't hog the system, you can hide the Google search bar in CPL , the option is called "disable glance" or something similar, I'd have to reinstall CPL again to be sure. And I'm also sure when I had a Nokia 7.1 in file browser I clicked the 3 dots in the top right corner and clicked "Show system storage" again it's been a while since I had my Nokia . If you haven't already you could join the Nokia community as they were always helpful

 • Basically Nokia 7 plus

 • I installed the Microsoft launcher on the 5.1 us and on my Galaxy Note FE. Very good launcher with new Bing wallpapers everyday. You can delete the Google search bar in this launcher. I replaced it with a Bing search bar since I don't use Google.

 • You can't remove the Google Bar in Android One phone, you need to install 3rd party file manager like the one by Xiaomi to see both internal & micro sd card memory, Android One phone are minimalist UI sometimes to get too minimised... lol or shall i said we are too used to the custom UI like that of Samsung One UI, Huawei EMUI, Xiaomi MIUI & etc

 • I dislike the homepage google bar, nor the date and temperature. Could anyone please tell me how to remove them. I tried but the Nokia phone is weird. I failed Also, I wanted to take a look at the internal storage and failed. Could only see the SD card I inserted into it. A little bit of disappointed with the phone.

 • 660 > 636

 • Nokia is a powerfull phone as i used to have a nokia 3.1 and it was 2gb ram but pubg still worked excellently and the camera is great only one issue was that their was no fingerprint scanner

 • Battery life, value for money, more features.. Yep..

 • The real successor to Snapdragon 660 is the 670 SOC. I really mean the performance of 670 comparing it with Pixel 3a. But, when mass produced for other devices it need not be of the same standard as it is in Pixel 3a which would automatically imply that 710 and 730 are more powerful than the 670 SOC. As you have said 8.2 will have a SOC which is greater - NUMBER wise - than the 710 SOC. May I ask you to clarify your number theory with respect to the following: 1. Nokia 7 - 630 SOC 2. Nokia 7 plus - 660 SOC 3. Nokia 7.1 - 636 SOC 4. Nokia 7.2 - 660 SOC Why hasn't the number increased in Nokia 7.2?

 • Here is another one and most important for our health. High SAR value: Xiaomi > Nokia Xiaomi is currently at the top of list to produce High SAR value. But top brands like Nokia and samsung are at the top that produce lowest SAR value. Check here

 • Lol what are other factors? Showing ads : Xiaomi > Nokia Ugly MIUI : Xiaomi > Nokia No headphones in the box : Xiaomi > Nokia Low call/network quality: Xiaomi > Nokia Worst Display: Xiaomi > Nokia No USB OTG: Xiaomi > Nokia Do you feel neglecting essential features makes the smartphone brand good than other phone brands ? Those smartphone brand give you attractive specs at good price no doubts but after using their phones you will realize ohh they forgot to add some essential internal components. My friend having Moto G5s Plus i was constantly laughing and trolling on him when i open Google Maps and checked the mobile phone compass is missing which fails him to show which direction he is going through LOL. But Nokia never does this.

 • Snapdragon 660 in 2020 Nokia is joking

 • Very good thinking boss but most of the people of this era do not understand it.

 • Build quality : Nokia > Xaiomi Software : Nokia > Xaiomi Camera : Nokia > Xaiomi Rest comparison Xaiomi beats nokia.... Its that simple..

 • Why should i buy this useless phone. At the price of 300 dolare.660 has some lagging issues and since It's based on 14 nm chipset Over hitting issue is present as well plus Battery backup is not good.Phone display is 7.2 inc and battery is only 3500 with 660 chipset.Garbage phone.Display is also ips. What good it has?????? Only people will buy those who have no brain and relying only companies name.Useless.

 • Sometimes some people don't like me because I always speak the truth though I am wrong sometimes because of my ignorance. I certainly don't feel shy to admit that I don't know everything. Now, to your remarks, may I ask you to go through the following: 1. What is the average life span of a mobile? 2. What are uses of updates? 3. What are the uses of a mobile? 1. To honestly answer these questions, any good battery will last only for two years at the maximum (some say it will last for 500 recharge cycles) which may directly imply to answer that the maximum life span of a mobile is just two years, if you don't fall prey to another mobile in the market before that. 2. For these two years your mobile can handle all the apps on the play store for which newer updates aren't necessary. Sometimes updates take away your precious time in tinkering your mobile frequently. A real headache, isn't. I definitely agree that updates give pleasure at the subconscious level to some with its new gimmicks which is termed as new features. Sometimes it makes the device slower forcing you to go for a new one. For your information, I don't update my mobile. I will use it for two years as it is and go for a new one later. 3. Coming to the most interesting part as to what a mobile can do... I definitely accept that it can drive many crazy apps. Can it create one? Taking into account the list of apps other than games, music and movies there are only a hand-full of apps that are really good. I have seen people using flagship mobiles just for chatting in FaceBook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Sometimes they play games, listen to music and watch videos. Real hard core gamers opt for XBox, PlayStation or a Computer. Only Casual gamers uses a mobile device to play games and get addicted to it. I use my mobile only for things to be taken care of and not for anything else. Getting addicted to these, makes a person fail to enjoy the things around. A good camera and photographs are necessary but, for what. It is really worthy spending your precious time on Instagram and FaceBook forgetting the real pleasures around you? I request everyone to start thinking about how you spend your precious time. I am extremely SORRY if I've hurt anyone. I didn't really mean it but it is high time to say. May God Bless All.

 • The LTE is actually cat13 for 7.2

 • Xioami has rubbished build quality issue, i guest i am at better position to comment on Xiaomi phone since i own 4 Xiaomi, plus my siblings own 2, so i have experience to call Xiaomi as rubbish quality, Xiaomi can't even get the power button to last, not forgetting the rubbish GPS antenna. i don't mine if you claim Samsung is better than Nokia or even Huawei is better than Nokia, but Xiaomi ? thats a laughing stock....lol

 • Talking about build quality of nokia 7.2 its not even upto the mark of past nokia devices.. I do appreciate that nokia is providing software updates.. afterall its android One.. and It is the only thing that I believe nokia had done good... I've used devices with SD 625, 636 SD670 710 etc.. And like I said I had no issues with it and it was probably 3- 2 years ago when I used Snapdragon 636, and 660.. 2 Years ago.. Lots of things change in 2 years dude.. but somethings don't change like nokia still using 636 and 660.. Now I don't know why but maybe nokia don't have enough budget, or wanted to clear its old chipset stocks or either being a lazy bum.. the have 3 SD 636 and 2 660 device so they might have to do less work in optimising and providing newer updates.. Also as per the survey around 84% of Xaiomi devices getting updated too.. See their K20 for example.. it already started to get android 10 update.. So the point is nokia is not alone at providing updates quickly. Now talking about the UI other chinese company do have bloatwares, ads etc but It doesn't change the fact that they ate still faster than nokia phones.. redmi note 7 pro is faster than nokia 8.1.. and its build quality is good too.. Considering the price of nokia 8.1 when it was launched and price of note 7 pro.. there is huge difference.. still note 7 pro outperforms Nokia's device.. why is that? now talking alone about 7.2.. why nokia is charging around 20k and don't even providing basic features like fast charging? There is a reason why these chinese brands are dominating the mobile phone market and nokia now is nowhere near top phone sellers..

 • To be honest, I use to write here not just for you but for those who can really understand rationally as to what I mean and say. A simple psychology is that if I don't like Nokia I wouldn't be writing here. Moreover, I cannot awake a person who is pretending to be asleep. Moreover, manufacturers are there not just for me but for the whole world. Their actions will not reflect upon us in any way though we might lose some money if the product is bad. Moreover, manufactures around the globe do ask for consumer feedback for their own survival and to compete effectively but definitely not to help us in any way.

 • Tough choice between Nokia 7.2 & Samsung A50s, disposing my crap Xiaomi soon, wonder which should i choose, same price & both has it own advantages

 • Actually my nokia 9 is standing out so much, it is like a Led light in a dark pile of copies clones and chinese crapp that invaded the market.

 • What?

 • I just brought 7.2 Good main camera and night mode, Worst ever ultra wide camera. Not even worth it

 • I have Nokia 7.1 and it's brightness is also low but it's hdr10 features stand out from others. I have no complain using it under direct sunlight too

 • Have you checked manually the display settings people now a days in shop they do such things to sold their old products you can clearly see in terms of tv many smart tvs are displayed some have low brightness to attract other brands as well. Might be puredisplay under the settings is disabled so its dedicated display processor will not be utilized to its potential.

 • People like you will never praise New HMD Nokia. If they sell low price phones with cheap quality hardware then among you will standup to say hey my Nokia was not like before it was a premium and never ever have compromised on quality and My Nokia lost bla bla. Wakeup bro we want features with great build quality not just specs. Chinese OEM will give you latest processor even samsung but they earn money with their bloatwares and runs many background tasks to eat more cpu usages and left similar amount of speed with Nokia's current sd660. Nokia dont do such things and why do we require a good processor is because our mobile will remain upto date in terms of software update now nokia have already proved according to counterpoint research nearly 94% of phones are with latest android then what do you want more whats your problem bro? My friends have sd625 that time but his phone is still with Android Oreo 8.1 and he endup with newer software and Games which not able to install because it requires latest android. What extra features does newer processor gives you do it will give you better display? Camera? Only GPU? Or some milliseconds to few seconds of difference in performance Are you afraid that your games will not worked later with Nokia 7.2? Can you explain me what does Nokia 7.2 dont have apart from the processor in terms of an midrange phone? Do you feel users having Poco F1 are the most satisfied users and now they dont need anything on their mobile?

 • Nokia 7.2 is the upgrade of 7.1 and launched with the price tag similar to Nokia 7.1 then how can you expect Nokia 8.2 with sd670 and Rs. 32000? Nokia 8.1 is with sd710 and it will be sure that it will have 730 or minimum 712 not below that and similar price with Nokia 8.1 i.e Rs. 26999. Dont put your fingers on keyboard by resting your brain try to utilize your brain like Nokia 7.2 is utilizing its even with sd660 see the youtube comparison with samsung A50s. If you still cant buy nokia phones buy phone from different brand.

 • Waiting is an exercise to our brain for developing PATIENCE. As you have said, I shall definitely wait for 8.2, but can I anticipate a budget price like that of 7.2. As a matter of fact, I will not spend more than 20,000 INR on any mobile phone since it is useless for me. I am a person who uses the mobile for a purpose and not for recreation and killing time. Assuming, HMD releases 8.2 with a 670 processor priced at 32000 INR, it will fail again. The USP of Nokia is its Android One branding. This shouldn't become a factor for hiking the price of their devices. Two years of Android updates are really appreciable, but, there shouldn't be hidden profits involved for providing that without which they can't stand tall in the crowd. Moreover, Android updates for pure Android devices have become easier like chocolates with Google's introduction of Project Treble. All that matters is a HEART to give. Well, if you don't wish to give then don't expect us to take.

 • Am telling about brightness issue not about Spec.

 • Friend i saw all review in you tube and i compare all this three mobile with my hand so compare to nokia 8.1,6.1 ,samsung A50 brightness is low in nokia 7.2

 • For your information I'm currently using Nokia 8.1.. A great device.. Appreciation for Nokia for making such good device.. And I brought it for 30k when it was released (The 6gb version) in feb.. It is a great device indeed no complains.. I appreciate nokia when it actually does good job but nokia 7.2 is far from that.. now I might not be a tech expert as you but letme tell you one simple thing son, 'If you don't adapt to the market then you cannot survive' Nokia doing same by releasing devices like 7.2 and 6.2 and no matter how much you blind fans will defend nokia it still cannot survive for too long if they keep on doing it.. Always remember.. I know there is not much difference In day to day performance but an old chipset is still an old chipset no matter how blindly you compare a new gen chip will always be better.. New gen chipset will laways offer better features thats why it is called 'Successor'.. also look at the pricing of 7.2.. do you really think it is justified? Now look for an example.. Samsung was selling low specs phones at high price at one time.. when they get it that they cannot survive they adapted themselves to the market and now giving good competition to Chinese brands.. as talking about nokia I think its not even in the competition now

 • Saw already.. Still not impressed..

 • Yes, nowadays every one buy cheap china phones, with high specs, in the name of what?they start selling at low cost, and now slowly increased rates. Having the highest specs, they say its flagship, but there is no full flagship components. I am owning Nokia 7 plus - SD 660 & nokia 9 pureview - SD845. No difference in performance except display. SD 660 is good processor, a decent spec. HMD is giving solid quality, that other device cannot give.

 • What's with the top bezel situation?Totally unnecessary with a teardrop already there.

 • I had same feeling what most of agrieving people has here. But then I saw two videos of performance comparison between nokia 7.2 vs nokia 8.1 and nokia 7.2vs samsung a50s. Literally nokia 7 2 performed better than both the phone who has better specs on paper. Then i realized, if specs all are matter then vivo redimi phone suppose to be better that iPhones. But that's not the reality. So please stop cursing Nokia.

 • I lost hope on HMD. They are very well behind the competition. They kept us waiting for a device that will standout in the market but until now nothing from their list of phones are doing fantastic than others. This 7.2 will flop as well.

 • Simple answer for you wait for Nokia 8.2 on november

 • Are you joking see the reviews of Nokia 7.2 on youtube your mouth will shut soon. See the comparison between Nokia 7.2 and Samsung Galaxy A50s LOL you will seal your mouth for sure.

 • Hey! are your eyes so close to see Nokia 8.1 for all which you are demanding? If you need ois and good processor go for Nokia 8.1 its cheaper then Nokia 7.2 then whats the point?

 • Very true indeed.. And as I said of nokia wants to keep releasing outdated devices like these then they better stop making Smartphones and focus on Feature phones which are the stronger point of Nokia (HMD)

 • Everyone likes Android One but at the cost of what. Is it an inferior display with an outdated processor with a good camera? Being in the peak of hefty competition, I don't understand why manufacturers fail to pay due attention to consumer wants. Finally, the blame is on Chinese products and the ultimate consumers. This device should have incorporated at least the 730 SOC or the excellent 670 SOC with a no notch Super AMOLED display. (I definitely don't mean the flimsy pop up camera). Though these changes would increase the price of the product by another 10% it is worth it and paves a way to compete with the Chinese brands, due to the NOKIA and Android One BRANDING. The most pitiable part is that consumers believe that the 712 SOC is powerful than the 710 SOC and 675 Is powerful than the 670 SOC. But, the fact is that, "Truth can't be hidden for long". I would like to end my discussion abruptly because Patience is my first Prayer.

 • Hi friend i know its android one brightness problem get resolved r not while next update

 • Yes it's android one

 • As i did demo with Nokia 7.2, i find that screen brightness is low compare to Nokia 6.1,8.1 and Samsung A50.So can anyone suggest it can be resolved while updating Android 10 or its remain same, because am planning to buy this mobile kindly help me.

 • What do Nokia think of themselves?? Apple of Android? SD660, Cam without OIS, no telephoto lens, 3500 battery and 2Amp charger...price INR 19k. They rate themselves so high that everyone stopped caring about Nokia brand. If Microsoft injured the brand by making it Windows only, HMD global is killing it with such nonsense design and pricing. RIP Nokia.

 • Even my Nokia 6 2017 have certification than what the guy is talking about is he came to wrong page no its not a xiaomi its Nokia brand

 • Lol dont know what you are talking about? If you want a good processor go for 8.1 its still the best device what do you want more than? I still find my Nokia 6 lag free even on pie so processor doesn't matter at all only matters is the features which we will never get on midrangers. Even if you compare sd675 with sd660 on versus.com you can find sd660 is still 13.8% faster in performance than sd675 only gpu is less but i have never heard any games which wont work on sd660 as i also have Nokia 7 Plus with my family member. For your kind note i am a software engineer so do you feel iam not a heavy user? If you need all this with a good processor then wait for Nokia 8.2. Nokia HMD produce phones based on price range not on specs. If you need more wait for the next price range phone i.e upcoming Nokia 8.2 which will be release on November as per the leaks which will have never processor.

 • Lol my nokia 6.1 plus have L1 certification.Better you first know about phone specification properly.

 • You don't get it son.. See the specs and see how much they chaging.. Nokia 7.2 in cyan geen has very less stock.. Nokia 7.2 cyan green 6GB ram version still coming soon.. Which proves that cyan green has very limited stock.. and it is so obvious that even low specs will run smooth on stock android.. but problems arrives when u r heavy user.. then you will see the difference amd even ur so called low powered Nokia 6 could not handle heavy usage like gaming and heavy multitask.. what was the problem of nokia had charged few more extra bucks and provided upto date specs.. I was willing to pay extra if they had provided better chipset and better quick charge support.. but what nokia did was charged decent amount and slapped its fans with the worst mid range.. except camera ofcourse.. and now what u nokia fanboys are doing is giving explanation and defending an outdated device..

 • in india its 19k. means 243 euro. very less battery backup and not amoled display. samsung gives in 180euros. m30s. 6k battery and s.amoled display.

 • just stop you nonsense cyan green got out of stock in india. There are many nokia fans to buy this beautiful phone specs is not always a key in phone. Main thing is the software support, my Nokia 6 2017 with sd430 is still running smooth on pie. And phones with sd625 still struggling to get pie LOL. And check the latest snapdragon processors in 6 series i.e 665 or 675 which still can't compete with sd660 in terms of performance which have variable clock speed frequency check the versus.com and compare sd675 with sd660 you will get to know the truth.

 • Guys, it has Android One. Why do you hate this phone?

 • hahahaha....your comment just awesome man! really its sad to see Nokia using these old chips and specs. Must be the effect of very strong weed....ha ha ha

 • Not a crime at all. Nokia's 7s & 6s always get the SD600s. Their midrange line so understandbly with midrange socs/specs. BUT... they should've used newer SD600s. like 665 or 675 for the 6.2 and 7.2 respectively. And Faster charging abilities... they wasted a potential hit by using those old SD600s and low charging speed.

 • Who would buy this phone I don't understand.

 • Its has HDR10 Support but absence of Widevine L1 Cerification

 • Its ridiculous that except HMD no other phone OEMs using SD636 and SD660 today.. Also whats more ridiculous is that these both nokia 6.2 and 7.2 supports only 10w charging.. Now HMD must be smoking some good weed and instead of buying their phones I rather buy the same weed they been smoking... Nokia branding dying again.. a slow death.. they better stop making Smartphones and focus on feature phones only.. Feature phone division of HMD is actually good.. their smartphones are just crap

 • I think is a crime to talk with no sense of business and how it works.

 • I think its a crime using the SD 6 series coming 2019 end unless you gonna sell below EU 250. Even that is a problem since the trend is quickly moving to SD 7 series. Realme is gonna bury many phones with the 730g. Nokia is a just digging a bigger hole for themselves. The come back is a disaster.

 • Does Nokia 7.2 have Widevine L1 certificate with Netflix Amazon Prime Video HD support or not?

 • How can it has hybrid dual sim and dedicated micro sd slot at the same time?

 • Bruh I use xiaomi and it's good lol, seems like you never even use xiaomi before, work on your spelling please

 • Nokia 7.2 and Nokia x71 have all same specifications, i have Nokia x71

 • Lol for those who think sd675 is better than sd660 in performance but they are wrong Sd660 is among the processor having variable frequency range and it supports 1.95 GHz upto 2.2 GHz and with that maximum clock speed(2.2 GHz) if Nokia 7.2 is with than it can perform 13.8% faster than current SD 675 which supports only upto 2.0 GHz. Now i will definately buy Nokia 7.2 a smart choice from nokia to use it by giving more other features with that price range.

 • I would say if you want a real review, do it your self and stop listening to the biased youtubers that all they want is views and mony to promote products.

 • But still the best part in a smartphone is its Display and Camera on which Nokia 7.2 shines HDR10 PureDisplay with Automatic SDR to HDR conversion and a true 48MP camera with Zeiss optics to capture true to the life colors tells all. SD660 and SD675 cannot be comparable with real life scenario but the best part of manufacturers is to support their phones as long as they can where Nokia shines again. As i have Nokia 6 2017 with sd430 where android 9 still working smooth.

 • Nokia 7.2 is good looking phone. But front camera is 20mp which is quadpixel means Original is 5mp also rear camera. It should be comes with at least 15watt charger. And with Aluminum body..

 • Nolia 200 times better. Price also. Xiomumy might sound cheapper but., it ain't. The quality of the conponents is just way lower, cause they buy lower quality components so they can be cheap, for short: they sell cheap crapp for quite dome money.

 • Only comparison can tell is it worth buying either of them. - I'm using 8.1 trust me it is fast. but don't know how sd660 on nokia 7.2 will perform against it. - And camera has OIS on nokia 8.1 but you won't know whether it is there or not. Low light shots are not great. I feel it struggles in contrast scenes. Dynamic range i don't think it is very good. - Display, hold, design is very good but i feel 7.2 won't disappoint you - so it is worth waiting for real world reviews.

 • Nokia 7.2 vs Xiaomi Mi A3

 • And those are the ones who haven't tried to own or even use a Nokia smartphone.

 • You can also check the optimization and the screens used aside from the size of the batteries for battery back up performance.

 • And you also forgot that those people from Nokia are the ones working for HMD?

 • Better to buy nokia 8.1 rather than this crap..

 • LOL motorola have bloatwares which runs unwanted background tasks to suck the remaining amount of battery and Nokia is with Android One and 3500 will be more than enough for 2+ days with clean android.

 • HMD FIH? What do you know HMD have signed multi vendor partnerships and FIH Mobile is no longer manufacturing Nokia branded Smartphones and will now manufacture only Nokia branded feature phones

 • 4gb ram 64 GB 18500 6 GB 64 GB 19500 India

 • Yes it will

 • Nokia is just the branding, phones are HMD FIH and I forgot the other company behind them

 • Will it support 18 watt charging ?

 • watch out nokia is rising back

 • The motorola battery has 4000mah better than the 3500

 • Guys please confirm whether it has a Dual sim card with dedicated SD card option too ?

 • Have given up on ursef already?

 • Why is Nokia being economical with the battery...... 3500?

 • GSM Arena says the that 6Gb/128Gb version will be there, But no other website says about this variant. I want to purchase but not with 4/64Gb variant. Please confirm someone

 • Nokia 7 plus has 3800mah. I used to get a full day with it. Being a heavy user the battery time was good. I use Dual SIM in low coverage area, Bluetooth always on & connected to my smartwatch and wireless hands free both. With Mobile Data always on and WiFi at home. Minor PUBG in the day, like a match or two. I think 3500mAh will also be fine with the Android 10.

 • My problem is the battery. ..3500 small

 • It is called glance, and is different from always on display, it actually shuts down in your pocket. One can also set it to turn on only when reciving notifications, then it goes off again. Pretty much the same like in old Lumia devices. It t's battery consumption is prett much non existent

 • And why would they? Just because of a random person on gsmarena? Kindly, do not respind. I don't care.

 • So far, I see Nokia made the most beautiful circular multi-camera yet. The OnePlus 7T camera design* is just... ughhhh, they really effed it up with that horizontal camera setup. Huawei's Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro have a big circle outside the camera area, not sure if that's a looker. *https://www.gsmarena.com/oneplus_reveals_oneplus_7t_design_ahead_of_launch-news-39225.php

 • Give up? I see more people buying Nokia because of their commitment to fast software update and also Android One.

 • Kindly give up on smartphones manufacturing

 • IPS LCD with always on display? Excuse me?

 • Nokia 7.1 use SD636 and now nokia 7.2 use SD660 ... its obviously an upgrade. If you want SD 7 series and above in nokia phone you should looking at 8.1 and above...

 • And here people again started to just speak about numbers, as far as I have seen, many people about nokia are like "Oh why this for that price point" and when they hold that phone, they are like "Oh this is that phone, nice..!"

 • You gotta pay double price genius...

 • I wonder why they do HDR with LCD instead of OLED... SD 660 is out of date also..they would have gone with at least SD 710( My opinion)

 • Nokia need to concentrate to the price to dominant in the market or survive in the market.

 • Αny news for notification led ?

 • Why nokia selling old chipset? Even their upgrades in market available. Nokia is still in 2016 in processer field. This phone needs sd 675 atleast. And 4000 mah battery.usb type c with fast charging in this prrice. rest all is ok.

 • nokia why are you affraid to make a great phone??? with 12gb of ram 256gb of storage and sd855?? with wifi 6 amoled screen etc.....??look up on oneplus 7pro

 • oled best.

 • so its redmi note 7 with shittier battery but almost twice expensive.. ok Its better then almost all samsungs though

 • Green one look very cool. But specs aren't good at all. Old processor and why no 1080p 60FPS? Is it that hard to include?

 • ips is better

 • I find the Nokia LCD screens are better than Samsung's AMOLDs because the colours are truer and more natural. I actually prefer Nokias screens to Samsungs' (I have a Nokia 7 plus).

 • All motorollas look like Nokias also known as lumia 830 or 1020 or 950xl. But how can an ignorant know that?

 • looks like new motorola also known as 7.2...-__-

 • We need garrila glass 5 atleast

 • Yes but that gap is very narrow.. The processor gap is very huge. Let us compare nokia 7.2 vs 8.1 1. Display: 7.2 display has a slight edge over Nokia 8.1. That is only for the dedicated chip expecting that it will perform better with dedicated chip. 2. Display Size & dimension is almost same. slight difference : Tie 3. OS: Both launched with Android Pie: Tie So you will get same number of OS upgrades for both. 4. Processor: Nokia 8.1 has SD710. SD660 on nokia 7.2 is no match 5. Camera: Nokia 7.2 could take a lead as it is new & has wide angle lens. But OIS & Dual LED will help in low light for nokia 8.1 but 7.2 lacks both. Would be interesting to see how both performs against each other. As per the specsheet nokia 7.2 is winner here as it has UWA lens. But main camera should be tested. 6. 8.1 has NFC but it is exclusive to some country on nokia 7.2 7. BT aptx support on 7.2 which is better than 8.1 8. Price: Noia 8.1 is currently selling at 16000 INR ($230) which is very cheap considering expected price of 7.2. 9. Design: Personal preference: 7.2 for it's back design. But 8.1 is also good but 7.2 attracts immediately. Doesn't matter too much. Price and features comparison tells 8.1 is really a lot better than 7.2 With 8.1 you will just loose UWA camera & "to be expected better HDR experience". If 7.2 will not cost less than $300.

 • Also there is a lot of improvement in PureDisplay dedicated chip by pixelworks which is also a advantage in Nokia 7.2 over Nokia 8.1's PureDisplay.

 • Nokia 8.1 definately a better buy compared to nokia 7.2.. A device with SD 660 is joke in 2019.. yes the 7.2 has better camera but other features are just mehh.. I'll pass this device.. Anyone who looking for good performance with clean stock android experience should gofor nokia 8.1..

 • One thing I must say about nokia is that they are true to their promise of regular updates, which is best thing about Nokia phones.. And for people who are confused whether to buy nokia 7.2 or not.. I must tell u that its first triple camera phone from nokia along with 6.2.. But nokia 7.2 has 48mp sensor with ziess optics which clearly better than 6.2 and could easily beat any other phone in this price range.. But yes it does lacks some good features that other phones offering.. Best buy at the moment is Nokia 8.1 which has far better specifications than nokia 7.2 excludong camera.. features like 18 watt fast cahrging, SD 710 chipset and better build.. people who want a solid phone but don't care for camera should gofor nokia 8.1.. Tho its camera is good too but nokia 7.2 beats 8.1 in camera quality.. and if compared otherwise nokia 8.1 is clear winner.. If you don't care for a notch gofor nokia 8.1.. I would pass nokia 7.2 as only camera is not my priority..

 • Hey you this mobile still didn't launched and you can't expect wireless charging in midrange mobile's

 • Yes it's excellent it's a very good phone overall.

 • Its basically budget phone with overall deason specs and good camera, battery stand up for 12hours from full charge.. if your heavy user,

 • I want t0w buy this t0y can any0ne tell ab0ut his betry timing and ab0ut 0ther features is it 0k..?

 • I'd buy this phone but no wireless charging its a no for me. Not going back to cables. Pity Lets see what they will bring with Nokia 8.1 or 8.2.

 • Yes it has a dedicated sd card slot.

 • Yes....microSD, up to 512 GB (dedicated slot)

 • MEMORY Card slot microSD, up to 512 GB (dedicated slot) Internal 64GB 4GB RAM, 128GB 6GB RAM

 • Hi , Does this have a dedicated SD card option?

 • but I don't face any service issue and any fault in my device i am using nokia 5 since 2017, still running perfect 100% Price bit much but Durability wice Nokia is better than other companies And also what kind of issues you faced in production and components??

 • New mobiles for Nokia are made by different vendors not by FIH(subsidary of Foxconn). FIH created phones might have issues and parts availability even though they made in india. Hope to see how the new phones will have better parts availability as HMD is change a lot from its start as even they self doing the supply chain now as previously it was outsource by TNS Global a another subsidary of Foxconn. New Nokia phones starting from 2.2 to 7.2 are made by multi vendors excluding FIH as they will continue developing only feature phones not smartphones. And that is the reason they are selling their old Nokia phones at low price as they are closing deal with FIH for smartphones.

 • Cheap parts is another thing, there is unavailability of parts. Most of the nokia devices are plagued with production and components issues, they keep your device for more than 2 months in service centre. Beware and decide

 • Thats not cheap Plastic.. Nokia 7.2 is built with a high-tech polymer composite that’s double the strength of regular polycarbonate, but half the weight of aluminium. All wrapped around a tough metal chassis, Atleat read and know.. think before you commenting on something your don't know

 • Who cares men, just go and buy what you want... don't waste your time in comments on this..LOL

 • Nope. Only good thing in Mi A3 is higher watt charging. Though, I recommend Nokia 7 Plus over this phone. 1. SD 660 is better than SD 665. Its Benchmarks are better than 665 and 665 can't play PUBG on HD. Even if you use GFX Tool, it lags unless you lower some graphics. It's not for gamers. 2. FHD display vs HD+ display. Obviously FHD is sharper and better. 3. IPS LCD is better than Super AMOLED. - It shows realistic colours while AMOLED is physically incapable of showing exact colour of anything other then black. - It's less likely to develop issues like screen burn in, which are common In AMOLED. - It's more durable. - The visibility becomes same because of sharper display and you can increase brightness. - Nokia 7.2 offers AOD. Not sure if Mi A3 does? 4. Main Camera: - They've same base camera, but if you read Gsmarena review of Mi A3 camera, you'll find it to be quite bad. After seeing the samples, I will not recommend Mi A3 to anyone looking for good camera. Even Redmi Note 7 has better camera, in daylight at least. Nokia 7 Plus, Realme 3 Pro, Nokia 8.1, Huawei P30 Lite, Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 all have better cameras than Mi A3. - I've found Nokia cameras to almost never underperform compared to other brands. Zeiss Optics is doing awesome job. Nokia 7 Plus has better camera than iPhone 7 Plus so I'm expecting 7.2 to not disappoint either. - Nokia 7.2 offers 5MP depth sensor while Mi A3 offers 2MP depth sensor. Rear camera should not have less than 5MP depth sensor or you'll have to stand close to camera for the sake of edge detection. 5. Selfie camera: - MP doesn't tell you anything about picture quality. It only helps sharpness of pictures after zooming. 20MP is already quite high for selfie camera unless your arm is 20 feet long. - Quality depends on aperture (details), um (light captured), hardware (OIS, Telephoto), software optimisation (reason for Gcam popularity) and proper pixel binning. Not MP. World's best camera phone has 12.5MP rear camera. Pixel 3. In fact, if you read enough camera reviews, in this price, it's always recommended to use lower MP modes because shooting in high MP results in loss of details. 6. Quality: Nokia phones are still built like tanks. Only complaint I've ever heard about their phone is about charging port. Meanwhile, I know 60-70% of Xiaomi/Redmi phones have number of issues. Including Redmi Note 7, 7 Pro, Mi A2 Lite, Pocofone F1. 7. Battery: Its battery should last over a day so it's fine. The real edge of Mi A3 battery is faster charging.

 • Other brands also have 48MP, those are real but the gain of having that high MP count in a tiny sensor are only useful for image cropping also shooting - post process times are longer, so most phones start with the "small" MP number like 12MP or 16MP in order to shoot faster.

 • Why did they omit fast charging on the 7.2 while it was available on the 7.1 ? I've check on Nokia's website and there is no mention of it. Why would you include a 4 cameras and forget the obvious ? Also, when is nokia refusing to use led notification lights ? I know on this model its on the power button but I'm sure there are better solutions ? Or how about using OLED and AOD , especially considering the price point this device will be going for and competition from Samsung and others that have these "essentials" at the same or lower price

 • It's no good, A regular LCD screen with a low battery. And the screen margin is very high and costs over € 300. At this price you can buy better options like Xiaomi Note 8 Pro, Galaxy m30s and a50 and so on.

 • Looks pretty bad but with great selfies. Chipset is old, it's no longer "compact" and design wise looks worse than 7.1. Hope it delivers but competition seems to be ahead.

 • It is posaible 48 megapixels picture or not? The chilpet support maximum 16. Is there any fake "quad pixel" thinks? Hopefully - no. I don't like device with 48 megapixel sensor and 12 pegapixel pictures...

 • Every plastic build smartphone out there has a plastic body supported by a die cast internal frame. This is the de facto standard of any plastic build phone. The Nokia 7.2 is no different here, it swaps poly carbonate for polymer composite, all other construction process is the same. The problem is the you cannot replicate the in hand feel, the tensile strength, the aura & feel of a metal build phone. Processing metal is expensive, and this is the reason why flagship phones always are metal build and then clad with glass body. There is no doubt Nokia 7 Plus cost to manufacture is much higher than the current Nokia 7.2 but that doesn't mean 7.2 is bad. Everything will depend on pricing.

 • Probably only white, like in the past Nokia N8 had, breathing light.

 • By default it does support a white color(not multi-color) There are some software on play store that makes multi-color LED like Light Manager LED but i don't have either to check whether it works on nokia phone. You can try it if your friend is having nokia 4.2. Check this blog:

 • Any idea if it's a multi coloured (RGB) light ?

 • And now the reals specs? You do realise everyone has internet this day right, i mean people can actually do the same comparison and realis that samesung a3(2016) is no where near nokia, 2017 version is destroyed by this nokia. So, let assume you mean a30 Besides battery nokia destroys it. At that price and software. Nokia for the win let,s assume you mean some xiaomi crqpp. There is no comparison. Xiamumy is not a device, it is a disposible crapp. I would not pay more then 10 euros for one, no matter which one. And even that would be to expensive.

 • 10watt ? No way

 • without any question a3 sd665....sd660 4030....3500 165euro...more than 320euro super amoled....ips compact 153.5mm....160mm 11nm...14nm 32mp selfie...20mp selfie 18w fast charge...10w fast charge indisplay finger...usually finger infrared port...no infrared corning gorilla glass5....corning gorilla glass3 hd+ screen of a3 even keep more battery than of rog2 asus with 6000mah check in youtube so if you are just fan of nokia name go for it

 • yes its do have a led light on google assistant button like nokia 4.2

 • LOL half knowledge? Nokia 7.2 is not a plastic build quality just check on internet first its polycarbonate-aluminum hybrid frame i know you have check on gsmarena only but never mind to check on Official site first. check here first on official site before commenting here(see the design section and click on + button) Nokia 7.2 is built with a high-tech polymer composite that’s double the strength of regular polycarbonate, but half the weight of aluminium. All wrapped around a tough metal chassis, the result is a lighter, sleeker and stronger finish that can take what life throws at it.

 • is this phone sport wifi calling

 • The top bezel is to make the top of the screen tougher in case of falling and hitting the ground, smart decision and the notch to minimize it.

 • Does this phone have a multi-colour LED notification light?

 • Yeah, the worst part is that a lot of them actually thorw comments having no idea what they're talking about.

 • I do not remember when they died first time, please remind me? All i remember is Nokia selling it's mobile devision to Microsoft to cut company losses. And in 2017 a company named HMD (actually made only for the devices they were planning to release) licensed Nokia mobile patents from Nokia, and their name for 10 years. So, tell me again, when did nokia gone bankrupt?

 • Actually, Motorolla looks like a Nokia. Research before showing typical ignorance.

 • What a missed opportunity. It looks like any other generic Chinese phone. It should've been a global X71 that one is beautiful.

 • No motorola is worse just make sure that you compare phones with the same price

 • Compared to the Nokia, that's 100 Euros MORE, and that has only 4GB ram for a 128 GB device. The Nokia has 6GB for a 128GB device!

 • even lenovo better than you

 • What's the point of that notch if you're still keeping the top bezels?

 • I want this phone , When the sale announcement and the real store also ( from Algeria )

 • beautiful phone with lighweight construction. a bit dissapointment they use snapdragon 660. but,i think snapdragon 660 is fast enough.

 • 2018 phone not 2017 and about better you are asking is you forgot a headline of this phone is its camera

 • There is a lot of hate to this phone, sad that people is fighting over this

 • In 2019 SD660?

 • Top bezel AND a notch??Terrible design.

 • Nokia 7 Plus came out in 2018.

 • And just like you don't like their design and screen quality. i don't like the fact that nokia 7.2 is one of the worst device of 2019 due to the fact that it is using 3 yrs old processor and also giving just 10w fast charging which is a shame for what they are charging

 • In 2017 Nokia 7+ had these specs. Except HDR display what's better in this phone??

 • I actually don't find the Mi A3 screen good enough for my use case. And the Motorola One you mention, I don't like the design. They are simply not for me. No need to hate on things you don't like. I suggest you visit William Land Golf Course to relax a little. You seem to need it.

 • it has the same cpu and resolution.

 • Nokia 7 Plus is miles better. Nokia 7.2 is a plastic build phone with an even smaller battery and no fast charging. The 7 Plus on the other hand is billeted from a single block of metal which not only look & feel good but is miles ahead of 7.2 in durability aspect. But this was expected as Foxxcon, the company behind manufacturing the Nokia landmarks like 6, 6.1, 7 Plus, 7.1, 8, 8 Sirroco, 8.1, 9 will no more manufacture phones for Nokia due to very low profit margin in Nokia phones.

 • Which device would that be? This comment was opinion based, it doesn't specify that i'm using either one of these. Do yourself a favor & finish school. The sense i gather from the harshness in your comment is that you don't listen to your parents & have issues with higher authority. There, just schooled you! 😂

 • I think nokia 7 plus is better

 • Please do not bring this scrap to India , nothing special on it . Giving high hype bring ...bla bla .. finally launched phone with older chips . I think Nokia still in 2018 . No changes big disappointed from Nokia , I'm a Nokia fan still using Nokia android one device . Don't have any innovative ideas , Nokia just copying from other manufacturers . If Nokia is going like this we way again going to end like blackberry , HTC , Sony .

 • Nokia decreased build quality with cheap plastic frame..

 • Wow! 48MP great

 • Hopefully this will come to the Philippines sooner...will buy for day to day use

 • Personally I'm not obsessed with having the latest CPUs. But for Nokia 7.2, my concern is having no OIS for the camera (whereas 8.1 has). Let me see upcoming reviews for the camera before I can consider it.

 • do u have idea to make a phone with 6.3" screen inside of footprint for 5.84" screen?

 • This phone is very beautiful,,,hopefully, nokia will release higher variant with oled screen and snapdragon 730

 • Balanced device? Are you kidding me? Just like how nokia is kidding by releasing devices with SD 636 and SD 660 in 2019.. It is one of the most overpriced crap ever released by any OEM.. I rather called it an 'Underpowered Crap' than saying it a balance phone.. Do you even see how good smartphones other Mobile companies are releasing at this price range? i bet you don't that why you calling it a 'Balanced Phone'.. Letme tell you whats Bad with Nokia 7.2..

 • If Talking about android one.. I would suggest Either Mi A3 which is way cheaper than this scrap. Now I know you will complain about the screen but it is acceptable as it boosts the device's battery life.. If not Mi A3 then Motorola one phones are better picks too than this crap.. better and cheaper.. HMD can stop making Smartphones and rest in peace

 • Find me a cheaper Android One device with better specs and a great design and I'll buy it. You obsess about specs forgetting about things like design (Which is highly subjective) and OS. For someone like me a great screen, Android One/iOS and design is way more important than "specs". I use an iPhone Xs for work, and it's great. But I would never spend that much of my own money on a phone when I only use it to socialise and read WSJ etc. So my personal phone can not cost too much, but still have to look good. And let's face it, the Nokia 7.2 Cyan looks amazing. That is the answer to your flawed rhetoric.

 • Sorry, but this device is VERY balanced, a CPU does not make a phone. HMD might have taken a bit from the cpu thet they did just way more for the rest of the device. I work in technology more then 10 Years now. This devices is what people should buy if they want good from all sides, and not just a cpu. Sorry but they are doing a good job with their devices. Well balanced, innovative and don't brake your pocket, who does not see that, might as well buy xiacrappy, or whatever, let's do the test of time, who's better?

 • 2 group people who doesn't care for money & have alot of it people who are fans of a brand name & there are people too, who cares for money & see the reality & after research btw models, depend to money they have will choose i think nokia in trouble, they are still using 1.6 years old chipset like sd636 for nokia 6.2 & 2 years old chipset like sd660 for nokis 7.2

 • HMD better should not manufacture more models of nokia 6.2 and 7.2 because its sales gonna be a big disaster

 • Tell me why would anyone pay 300 euros for this when they can grab devices with better specs with much less price than this crap.. I think its official that Nokia is dead again for the 3rd time

 • Please stop.. I see you in every nokia device page try to defend nokia thats already dead.. Only an idiot like you would think that Nokia is releasing good device.. If nokia don't have budget they should better stop making Smartphones and focus on feature phones which I still think is the only department in which nokia is doing great job but if HMD global really wants to go bankrupt they probably should keep on introducing devices like these nokia 6.2 and nokia 7.2. Nokia should better focus on releasing better devices rather than investing on their advertisment.. What you saying is nokia don't have budget to release good device but have budget to advertise their crappy devices.. Also trust me everyone who visit this page knows what was nokia in the past but now they slowly killing themselves.. Well goodluck to HMD on selling these devices which I bet very few will and ultimately they have to bring down its prices..

 • So, why people buy Galaxy S10+ or Oneplus 7 when you have Redmi k20/k20 pro!!😒😕

 • Because that chipset are for 8 series and above

 • I also remember Nokia back in the days, the difference is, everyboday this days copied Nokia, from features to design, and kids have no idea what Nokia actually was and what they are actually holding (a clone, most probably). HMD does not have the money Samesung has, nor the Apples income, but f. they stillanage to be original and holding their devices is nothing but a pleasure that gives a good fealing: well, after all is a Nokia. They just need a higher budget, and nothing will stop them to go up. The balance they make in their devices must not be understood from every m''n comenting here. They have a balance no device has. Now, you go buy a chinese crapp, let others use what they want,, ta ta.

 • That was the time of Symbian and MeeGo with a dozen of fantastic phones, it's a long time ago.

 • And you think people who buy this phone are hardcore gamers and power users?

 • whats wrong with snaprdagon 660 this phone has greatfeatures and dont countonly thecpu bro

 • It the same old specs again with more price. Nokia 7 Plus had SDM660 and pretty great build quality and metal frame. It was a phone to buy then but now its crappy phone with old chipset and plastic frame. It's no better than any other Chinese phone, it a crappy and slow phone. HMD gonna be dead this time, they are ruining the Nokia's name.

 • Have fun using the most intrusive system, and crappy device.

 • True! You know, i was thinking the same after going through specs. Suddenly the godawful MI A3, another Android One phone compared to this 7.2 looks a better deal. Snapdragon 665, 4000 plus mah battery & around 200 bucks, yes price has gone down since it's release.

 • Can anyone tell me if this device should feature VOWiFi?

 • Who still pay 300 euros for a phone with SD660

 • I remember back in the days When NOKIA was AMAZING!!! idk why they stopped making phones, or when they make a few they are SHIT

 • A worse battery redmi note 7 that looks like a motorola phone, hopefully the Zeiss optics makes a difference in pics.

 • to me this update to Nokia 7.1 is a disappointment. The main reason for this is plastic frame and that they made the phone 1cm taller. When could we see a more compact phone with good spec?

 • PLASTIC FRAME!?!?! They really do cost cutting. Hopefully that will be visible on the price of the product too!

 • MI a3 also have pure android one, Global pack amoled screen, sd665, indisplay fingerprint, just 153.5mm tall, 32mp selfie, triple 48mp imx586, 18w fast charge, infrared port but look at to difference btw 165euro VS 300euro althought the price of A3 from releasing day to now down a little bit almost every 2 or 3 weeks to get it with standard price but nokia 7 plus after 1.5 year of releasing day. now 169euro for base version, lowest price you can find nokia x71 after 5 months of releasing day. now 301euro for base version

 • I think there is some thing wrong with 87.0% screen-to-body ratio ! I guess it is about 83%

 • Waiting huawei mate p40 pro xixixixix

 • Why Snapdragon 660 still? There are way more better chips like SD 710, 712, 730 as well. Look the smartphone market they are launching some of there mid range with SD710, 712

 • Using snapdragon 730 could make the 7.2 more promising

 • SD 660 in the mid of 2019 is not worth, it Should be SD 712, 730 or 730G and Battery should be 4000mAh...

 • Outdated SD660 but good enough for light gaming.

 • does nokia 7.2 have dolby atmos ?

 • i finally get it. The 7.2 is the successor of the 7.1 of 2018. We shouldn't be comparing it to 7.1+. 7.2 is a total upgrade from the 7.1. Not sure about the charging speed though. Still the 660 is quite old but, again an upgrade from the 636 of 7.1. I guess we just have to wait for 7.2+ for better specs. The 6 and 7 series only gets the SD 6s i guess. The 8 series gets the SD 7s. Price this right HMD/Nokia!

 • why the chin and why the notch, you got a fugk, Nokia

 • Cyan Green looks incredibly good

 • The only reason because this phone can be justified his price is the pure android, the quality of construct but above to all the the camera.

 • Was looking forward to upgrade from my trusty Nokia 6.1 to the 7.2. But no NFC for the US model ? Seriously, no Goggle Pay ? That is a deal breaker right there. Hope it's just a honest typo on their web-site.

 • redmi note 7, 4000mah ~150€ nokia 7.2 must use cpu 710-730 , 4000mhh disappointment

 • Too bad they didn't put in a SD7xx chipset :/

 • whats difference btw this nokia x71 ? nothing from march 2018 nokia 7 plus to now with snapdragon 660 no change, no super amoled, no indisplay fingerprint, no big battery 3800,3500,3500 little change in camera

 • LOL WTF are they smoking? 300EUR for a 14nm cpu (Combined with already small battery) and IPS screen. Good luck with that.

 • Snap 660 in 2019 about 300 euro? Nokia is joking

 • I am bit disappointed with the latest launch, processor should have been either SD 712 or SD730, even one year old Nokia 7Plus has SD 660.

 • No way I pay that much for a 660 device

 • This is gonna be a huge flop, SDM 660? Like seriously? Bro They should've at least gone for 675,670 or 710

 • Good looking phone but thats about it. capable but old chipset, low bat capacity and no fast charging? I waited for days for the annoucement just to be disappointed. The only thing that will save this is AGRESSIVE pricing. Even then it will be a tough sell. We'll see.

 • It's understandable that they are trying to make a profit as they don't have side business to compensate for losses in mobile division. However, they could have offered more for the same price. The camera hardware seems to compete with MI 9, and with Google for software updates. Buying it would like getting a bit of everything and yet missing things that most companies include for the price range.

 • I think the main reason for this price is Android one. So HMD is cutting costs to stay afloat...... Still i prefer old chipset and updates but that´s me. No, i would never buy this crap. had enough of the 6.1 Plus

 • Nokia is trying so hard to become bankrupt 3rd time.

 • Bad phone material used in this it is polycarbonate frame

 • Regardless of some saying the use of SD660 again is disappointing, I am looking forward to this device . I switched from my nokia 7 plus and 7.1 to a samsung galaxy s10e thinking I needed the boost, after a short while I realised I didn't and the s10e was overkill for me, I typically email, text, net and snap pics....I sold my s10e or should I say swapped for a galaxy a20e....I love it and it still does more than I need...I also gained extra screen on time. mid rangers are now where I'm at and I am looking at the nokia 7.2 for personal use and move the samsung a20e to work use...I know they aren't nokia of old but I like them

 • It says 87% screen-to-body ratio but it has NOKIA logo on its chin.

 • Why not use S665 or S675 HMD failed

 • I think this phone will have a great camera

 • Sd 660 nice joke!

 • nice device

 • The phone looks good but the Snapdragon 660 is already old for a 2019 smartphone they should have used a newer chipset and the 4GB Ram is a bit tiny.

 • Who cares about this regurgitated chipset from Nokia 7 plus? HMD is making very serious mistakes nowadays. I was ready to buy 7.2 this month but it seems I will just get A70. I don't care about updates in such a dated chipset... I am a very disappointed Nokia fan. They should make a 7.2 plus with a SD712 at least. Otherwise I know Nokia 8.2 will come out next year with 5G capable SD735 but very expensive... Nobody needs 5G in the next 2 years.

 • €300 is close to 8.1 currently selling in the Philippines for Php 19,900.

 • Useless. No flagship yet...

 • Confirmed a let down 6/128 for 320 euro Really Bad Since u could had put 730sd and 4000 battery Thé 7 plus 6.0 3000mha Really Bad move hmd u gonna kill Nokia

 • will this be able to compete with Mi A3? im doubting :-( - 6.1 Plus owner

 • Yeah these IS a downgrade more then upgrade to go from Nokia 7 plus to these lol Put it 180 euro and they good Put it more and ur dd Get a Nokia 7.2 plus With Sd 730 6gb ram 4000mha battery with 6.1 screen no notch Headphone jack USB C triple camera setup With image stabilisation and ois and wide angle for max 290 And u ready to fo

 • Looks like HMD released nokia 7.2 and 6.2 just to boost the sales of year old nokia 8.1

 • Yeah bro they should be aware to win people hearth they should put it max max 180 euro More and they cause their own doom

 • Comparatively smaller battery, years old chipset, dishearted!

 • Still using a sd660 u must be joking ?

 • Looks like a decent midrange phone, let's hope it's cheap tho : the SD 660 is over two years old at this point, but the performance is plenty for the average user.
