Performance, camera, battery, built quality are all better in Realme 3 Pro. Galaxy A50 forums are full of complaints. Display problem, battery problem, heating problem, camera problems. Only thing acceptable in A50 is performance (but not better).

I do have purchased this phone, and accessed the developers menu (tap 7 times) scrolled down to "Bluetooth codecs" and found all the codecs like APTX HD etc.. My Bluetooth 5 receiver works like a charm with the Realme 3 Pro. This phone is a giant, also with photo and video quality! ! !

The snapdragon 710 doesn't support aptX or aptx HD. So there's no logical way to enable a codec that isn't supported on the processor to begin with.

There is no overheating issue. At best, it only gets warm. My best guess about that complaint below is that he plays PUBG with Hotspot turned on.

To avoid throttling/overheating: 1. Don't run games or something heavy while on charging. 2. Give it 10 minutes to cool down after charging. 3. Turn off Hotspot. 4. Turn off GPS/Location. 5. Turn off Mobile Data & play games on WiFi. 6. Turn off Bluetooth. 7. Use a low watt charger. 8. Remove cover while playing games. 9. Try to find a place where it's not as hot. 10. Reduce Framerate of games. Note: Overheating/throttling is when Kernel restricts CPU & GPU frequencies to cool down the device. It results in major lag in games & may cause the device to reboot or power off if temperature exceeds safe limits.

realme 3 Pro and 5 Pro both have similar camera performance but with a rather different flavor between the two. The 3 Pro currently has the advantage of having more software updates compared to the 5 Pro which means it already has more improvements. As for the Redmi Note 7, well, if you don't care much about night mode but still want to take good low light picture in auto mode then it's a better choice than the two realmes (assuming you're not interested in the RN7 Pro).

Bro how does PUBG run smoothly on your phone? In my realme 3 pro it lags like hell after playing continuously for 30 to 40 minutes. It starts frame dropping randomly even on low settings and as soon as I restart my phone, it becomes okay and again starts happening after 40 minutes of gameplay. So, it's clearly device's problem not internet. I have sufficient storage remaining and good ping. Don't know how to solve it.

I dont really monitor battery life using SOT. But with moderate use including an hour or so of PUBG i get around 1.5 days of charge after the recent september update.. I havent faced any touch issue as of now..

Realme 3 Pro has much better camera and performance. PUBG on HDR with 40-60 FPS. Don't buy any Snapdragon 665 phone if you want to play games. It's not optimised for games, so it lags on even Balanced graphics.

So i bought a Realme 3 Pro for my sister about 4 weeks ago. She absolutely loves the front and rear camera for photos and videos. Not once did she complain about battery dying during the day(she is on her phone for most of the day). Performance is top class as well. She loves the look and feel of the phone. So far there have been only positive feedback from Realme 3 Pro. I have been a Huawei fan for a few years and i am thinking about moving over to Realme

Yes, I bought it from official retailer after I emailed realme to get the addresses of local stores selling their phones. I'm now wandering that maybe they provide better service to the customer outside of the place I'm living in now. But nvm, I'll just keep the phone for a while before I managed to get another phone. Btw, there's no manager at the service center here, they only got 2 staffs (1 technician & 1 receptionist). Tried to email them again and they say they will forward my message and there's no update from them afterwards. Hmmm, anyways :)

Either phone should be fine. Honestly, you can only know better if you compare them side by side with your own hands. If you already own Realme 3 Pro, then there is no need to buy X, 5 Pro or XT. Wait for a better upgrade. MP only tells you about zoom quality/sharpness. The actual camera performance depends on apertures and software optimization. Although things like um, MP do play a role. In fact, all phones with 48/64MP cameras come with 12-16MP camera mode as a default. Camera reviewers, including Gsmarena, always come to the conclusion to stick with 12-16MP mode because of poor details in 48/64MP. Same is the case with 4K video recording. Higher MP can only helps camera quality if there is Pixel Binning, which combines Pixels to improve lowlight performance (lowering the MP in the process). That being said, XT has f/1.8 with 1/1.7 aperture. That's best aperture size I've seen in this price. 3 Pro has f/1.7, 1/2.6. This is era of Gcam. Except for premium phones like Huawei P30 Pro, there is no phone whose Stock Camera works better than a compatible Google Camera. So another main camera feature to look for is Camera 2API.

1. It's up to your luck. There are plenty of Super AMOLED phones doing fine after 2+ years but there are also some that develop burn in within weeks. 2. Yes, IPS LCD is more durable. 3. 3 Pro has better selfie camera and edge detection in portraits. XT main camera can capture better details and it offers a ultra wide angle camera. 4. They've same performance. You'll never be able to tell the difference in real usage. 5. XT battery lasts a bit longer.

This phone comes with 1 year warranty. The 7 days return policy is of online stores which applies to everything they sell. You should be more assertive and talk to their manager. Are you sure you bought it from a official retailer? There are unofficial shops that sell refurbished phones for even higher price than the original. I follow Realme 3 Pro forums everywhere. Official Realme forums, XDA, Facebook, Gsmarena. I've read hundreds of reviews of people but you're the first I've seen with these problems. Worst I've heard about this phone is that the battery doesn't last 2 full days and phones gets warm during charging - but doesn't overheat.

So I've been using this phone for 3 to 4 months and here are all the problems I found: 1. The hissing sound from the bottom speaker I can hear the annoying hissing sound coming out from the speaker whenever I play a video or even if it's just a silent video preview playing on the homepage of youtube or other web pages. Yep changing volume level will not solve anything. Well I did find a solution which is to plug in your earphone so the sound will be gone:) 2. The high pitch sound from the screen or more specific, from the location of the CPU So if I touch the screen, there will be a high pitch sound coming out from the screen and after listen carefully I found that it's most noticeable when I place my ear near the location of the phone's CPU which is somewhere to the right side above the middle of the screen, near the power button. I'm guessing it's because of the increase in the flow of the electricity to the CPU as it sensed the touch. The sound will only start to fade out if I release my hand so just hold ur touch on the screen and bring it close to ur ear. I have to mention that not everyone can hear the sound as people will lose some hearing as they age. I did a test with my friends and only 4 of them can hear the sound I'm talking about. Again the solution to this problem is to plug in ur earphone so u won't notice the sound on ur daily use. 3. Front camera scam? Have a look at the information of the phone's hardware using aida64 and u will find that there's no 25mp but a 6.2mp front camera. False information? I don't think so. A scam? Probably is. 4. Warm temp. The phone gets warm after a few minutes of normal use like browsing or watching some educational videos. Though it's not that hot like it just jumping between 40 to 50°C, but I'm worrying about it getting worse after about 1 year of use. Just remember to keep ur phone in a cool place like place it under the air conditioner after using to cool it down. 5. Screen brightness and saturation Sometime the screen will boost its saturation up automatically when u r looking at something. Like when u r looking at a picture on ur browser, the second u swipe to the next picture the colour will change, become slightly oversaturated and warmer, some parts of the pictures will become brighter til u can't even see the detail. Only the gallery app of the phone is not affected and always show natural colour. Every setting in the phone is in default though. Lately I found the solution of this problem but I'll skip on that first. 6. Battery drain U will notice the battery will run out much faster after just a few months of use so the only solution is to reduce ur on screen time. So far these are the problems I found on this phone and I'll keep on trying to discover more. But the absolutely worst is their customer service, I've sent many emails to them and every conversation with them ends with "We have forwarded ur message to our technical team, if there's any update of information we will inform u" something like that. Of course there's no update of information ltr on:( Then the next time u go find them, they will ask u to repeat ur problem like repeat everything! And still in the end "we have forwarded ur message..." I'm so regret that I waste so much time waiting for their reply. Til about 1 or 2 weeks ago, I've visited the service center. Trying to explain everything about the phone to them and ask if I can request for a replacement. Sadly they say u can only ask for a replacement within 7 days of purchase. U know what, they act like they are so professional while they are really just some youngsters probably just graduated from their school or even not graduated at all and they try to convince me with some false information thinking I really know nothing about tech, they probably did it with every customers. Then they say they will try to repair my phone. U know what they did? They just reset my phone and install the newest system update which I've already got long time before I went to the service center. Of course the problems are still there after the 'repair'. Then they ask me to wait for software update and claim that it's because of the non compatibility of the apps with the phone after update from playstore and say it's up to the app developers to solve my problem. I'm like 'what?', the problems are more likely because of hardware issue like can u find other reason to convince me. Then they say that if I don't want the phone just go sell it online, sounds like people will want to buy ur secondhand phone and if so I'll probably lose a lot money by selling it at a low price. I've had enough of them and I will never head back again. I'm really regret that I've waste so much time waiting for their emails, I should have asked for replacement right after I purchased it. Think I wrote too much but I really don't know where can I

Only Samsung phones worth buying are S8 onwards or minimum of A70 onwards. Their midrange are worst among worst. A50 has as much issues as Redmi Note 7, including screen burn in, and much worst camera. It has been out for 6+ months and Samsung has shown no interest in fixing any of its problems, nor allow 4K video recording. 1. A50 camera is literally worst I've seen in midrange. Even budget phones like Realme 2 Pro have better cameras and I'm not being critical at all. 2. IPS LCD is not a con. It shows realistic colours unlike Super AMOLED. There are no pros of AMOLED other than Always On Display. You can see how display visibility and battery of A50 compares to 3 Pro. 3. Realme 3 Pro is more durable than A50. See durability tests. A30 and A20 has very weak processor so I suggest you go for A50 if you want Samsung. Don't take J series ever it's so outdated. Realme 3 Pro is cheaper but no under display fingerprint, still micro USB not type-C, and IPS instead of Samsung SUPER AMOLED, also heavier and thicker than A50. Not sure about Nokia cause I have no expertise on latest Nokia android

Realme 3 pro has better performance than a70 and a80 has snapdragon 740 which doesnt make a difference in pubg and games and it has 13nm snap dragon 740 which consumes more battery snap dragon 740 just has difference in 5 fps and pubg only has the ultra fps setting which limits the fps to 40 so it doesnt make a difference.

i have honor 8x and i have been using it for 10mos, in compare with honor 4c (2gb ram 16gb rom) (which i had before for 2yrs), the screen is much more durable. my honor 8x currently has a crack from bottom right going up to the middle curving to the upper right. i have dropped my honor 4c before several times but it did not have cracks on the screen or whatever. lag-wise, my current honor 8x starting to lag after the last update which is way different from my honor 4c, although the latter lagged due to apps consuming bigger part of the phone storage as oppose to my honor 8x that has more than 75gb free storage, battery started drain much faster than before. I can use honor 8x for 12hrs with 75% battery but now 75% battery will only last 7hours. Those are my experiences so far with honor 8x

I have been Realme 3 Pro for over 2 months. This phone is excellent for value of money. 6 GB RAM makes operations faster while 128 GB storage is more than enough for installing apps and storing pictures and videos. Rear camera is great. You can't artificially combine pixels and call them same as real 1.6um pixels. They offer a little improvement but nowhere as good and results in loss of details. RN7 doesn't even come close, let alone destroy Realme 3 Pro camera. Why don't you check side by side picture comparison of both phones by Gsmarena below? RN7 is only comparable to Realme 3, not 3 Pro lol. It loses all colour accuracy in moderate lighting, can't capture any details in shadows in good lighting, has more noise, less details and poorer edge detection. Also check Gsmarena 4K video recording from Realme 3 Pro and Redmi Note 7. The difference is night and day. The level of detail in 4K videos is so bad in Note 7 that it's advised you don't record in 4K. You'll get better videos from its 1080p recording. Realme 3 Pro is one of the *very few* phones in this price that is capable of recording good 4K videos. Gsmarena agrees with all of it.

Realme 3 Pro is still the best Realme device. And if you ask like this, you'll be misguided by people who don't know anything about cameras. It'll be better to Google what the following means. Main camera: - f/1.7 vs f/1.8 - 1.22um with dual pixel vs 0.8um - 5MP depth sensor vs 2MP depth sensor * 5 Pro does get the advantage of 1/2 aperture whereas 3 Pro has 1/2.6 aperture, but the front aperture makes bigger difference. * 2MP depth sensor is nearly useless in main camera because what it offers can easily be achieved without it if camera is well optimised. It should have been in selfie camera, but they added it in main to complete "quad camera" set up. Selfie Camera: Realme 3 Pro, Realme X and Realme 5 Pro selfie cameras are not all that different. But if you must compare: Realme 3 Pro has 1/2.8 aperture, X has 1/3 and 5 Pro has 1/3.1. So, 3 Pro is better capable of capturing details, followed by X. 3 Pro has 0.8um which is fine for selfie camera since subject is quite close to camera. X and 5 Pro have 1um, which allows brighter pictures in lowlight.

Problem with yt reviewers that only few of them know what they're talking about means. I only watch their reviews to see samples to judge by myself but they even manage to mess that up sometimes. You should be happy that it only gets high when playing PUBG while charging. It's highly discouraged to use phones for heavy workload while charging because they start overheating/throttling. Throttling is when phone heats up beyond safe temperature and Android restricts its performance to cool it down. This results in so much lag that games become unplayable. Also, if you're using its VOOC charger to charge, then let me just say that most other phones motherboard would likely melt down if you played PUBG while using VOOC because its watt is too high. You've to be brave to perform this feat xD

Overall, too inconsistent. - Redmi Note 7 cameras works better than Note 7 Pro, but it messes up colours and details in shadows when lighting is moderate. It also has poor battery endurance in heavy workload and if you're planning to play games, you must not buy this phone. It's easy to select when you know about cameras and OS. Realme 3 Pro has f/1.7 aperture, which is better than Note 7 Pro f/1.8 aperture. It affects how much details a camera can capture and how well it performs in low light. Secondly, Realme 3 Pro has 1.22um which is quite good for low light conditions (1.12um+ are good). Note 7 Pro has 0.8um which is poor for low light conditions and requires artificially brightening up the pictures which reduces the colour accuracy and quality. MP count does not matter. Cameras are mainly about apertures and optimisation. Note 7 Pro stock cam is quite badly optimised but works better if you install Gcam. But Realme 3 Pro works even better with Gcam. Realme 3 Pro also records much better 4K videos and its main camera pictures are comparable to iPhone 8's main camera. Check Technology Jock camera comparison of Realme 3 Pro and Note 7 Pro for side by side comparison, or you can use Gsmarena Picture Comparison Tool. MIUI is heavy and drains battery like crazy, but Color OS isn't that great either. However, Realme is making its Realme OS which they aim to make to be as lightweight as stock android as possible. This means better performance and battery.

Realme 3 Pro has best performance and main camera among them. The selfie cam are quite similar except for Oppo F11, which is good, but has a permanent beauty mode. The beauty mode works good but that's not your real face. Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 has the most wide angled selfie camera. Don't know about Vivo v15, but I've never seen a properly optimised Vivo device. They often have heating and camera issues. Realme 3 Pro has SD 710, which is most powerful amongst them. PUBG should run with 40-60 FPS on high graphics. The other three phones have equal performance - Helio P70 and Kirin 710. These chipset should allow them to play PUBG with 30 FPS on high graphics. You should watch gameplay videos of these phones to make sure they don't underperform like Redmi Note 7. Realme 3 Pro has most battery efficient chipset (10nm) among them but its battery endurance is not up to mark. It's going to get new Realme OS which is supposed to be more lightweight than Color OS 6, so that might fix it. The rest the three phones should have similar battery endurance (12nm & same resolution), unless their OS drains too much battery.

Realme 3 Pro. Vivo z5 has slightly better battery and equivalent performance as Realme 3 Pro. If you nitpick, Vivo z5 has a better chipset but it plays PUBG same as SD 710 phones. Realme 3 Pro has much better camera and its 4K videos are excellent. Its main camera rivals are found in 2-3 times more pricey phones. Selfie camera is also one of the best in the price. The other differences like Super AMOLED vs IPS LCD are your personal choice. Super AMOLED offer better visibility under sunlight but colours don't look realistic and it doesn''t last as long. IPS LCD show realistic colours and long longer. Vivo is bad with software optimisation as far as I've seen. It results in poor camera and performance.

I have 128 gb variant which cost me around 37000 PKR. I have been using this masterpiece since a month and I have not face any problem regarding this mobile. Battery timing is superb about 7 hours plus s.o.t. no lagging during games. Awesome camera specially selfie. Great gestures specially if you know the shortcuts of screen. The only negative point is that the backside of this set is made from plastic but the build quality is satisfactory not just like Xperia z3

I have had the phone for a couple of weeks. I like it very much. Everything works well. The cameras follow the Camera2 API at level Full. Manual exposure and Raw capture are available. B20/28 are supported for the models sold here in France. Single bad point, the FM radio is disappointing: atrocious app ergonomy (no manual freq input, rescan clears preset list, cumbersome station name input), no rds, intermittent audio for no reason.

If they're in the same price range for you, I'd say go for A70. It has better battery, NFC, ANT+ and mostly similar but better camera. Its performance is lower in comparison, but still good enough to handle heavy task. Although you can't play fortnite on it. It has super amoled display on which colours don't look realistic, but it offers better visibility under sunlight. It offers bigger display but same resolution and lower ppi than Realme 3 Pro, which means display experience is better on Realme 3 Pro. The difference isn't that big, however. Both phones offer a huge upgrade from Asus Zenfone 2 Laser in every way. Regarding durability. Super amoled display which A70 has develops problems sooner but still can last quite long. Realme 3 Pro is quite durable in drops as well but it gets scratches easily, so I suggest to keep the case and protector that you get with it on. Don't know about A70.

You're welcome. No, battery won't make a big difference, especially because 3 pro battery is underwhelming. You can find the 3Pro 960fps video on Technology Jock YouTube channel. He explains it really good and also compares with S10 960fps. Currently, no phone in this price segment can offer 960fps. Not even most flagship phones can. 3 Pro can however manage 240fps. Mi 9T has more powerful and battery efficient chipset - mainly battery efficient. The camera specs are a bit better in Realme X for low light performance and details but Mi 9T offers more features. For instance, 9T has a 2x telephoto zoom, which is a hardware based zoom instead of software. This means you can zoom 2x without losing pictures/video quality. It also has ultra wide angle camera. In selfies, however, Realme X camera is in lead in every way as it should be able to capture both, better details and light. Personally speaking, 9T looks great but I don't trust Xiaomi, especially when it comes to quality and MIUI. If you must buy it, only do so after confirming it doesn't heat up after 2 hours of gaming , battery lasts 1.5 day or longer in heavy usage, camera captures accurate colours and visible details in low light with low noise. Because I've found xiaomi to do bad in all these categories quite often.

Nokia 8.1 has NFC so you can make payments with your phone. Camera has OIS which is excellent for better details in pictures and videos, especially in lowlight. Android One which is more lightweight, thus better performance and battery. Realme 3 Pro can give you up to 240 fps slowmo on 720p or 1080p but Nokia 8.1 doesn't mention if it does. Both phones have decent camera specs but I've heard some complaints about 3 Pro selfies which aren't confirmed. 3 Pro has slightly better camera specs but 8.1 has OIS which can make quite the difference. Personally, I would go for Nokia 8.1 if it's in the same price range. 3 Pro battery doesn't last as long as a 4k battery should, but the performance and main camera are great. 8.1 battery should last you 1.5-2 days. Read its reviews to make sure doesn't have any problems.

Nokia 8 doesn't have equal battery to pocofone f1 at heavy usage. Its battery life sucks Sd425 is more power efficient than sd845. It's true that sd845 is built on 10nm while sd425 is 28nm. But sd425 is smaller has less cores that are more efficient less transistors and clocked at half the frequency frequency. Youtubers and reviewers are not as stupid as you think we aren't in 2011. Everyone knows these basic things. They are always better than a biased customer(like you) and they provide consistent tests. Note 7 has a great perfirmance and plays most games at consistent frame rates at medium to high settings. Look at things like whether you want usb port or type c, sd card slot or no sd card slot, IPS LCS or Super AMOLED, fingerprint sensor on back or front and make the decision. Realme 3 Pro doesn't have as good battery life as it should, so don't worry about Realme X smaller battery capacity - unless it too has poor battery timing. Pictures from main camera are truly amazing in Realme 3 Pro while selfies are better on Realme X. Realme X also has much better video stabilisation compared to Realme 3 Pro. The 960FPS slow motion is not real. The actual FPS are much lower, it's just achieved by software so the video will be slower but not as smooth as a true 960FPS one. It can however manage over 240FPS. Check Technology Jock review about it if you don't understand. Both phones are great when it comes to performance, and games, and a game like MLBB is way too easy to handle for SD710 to be worried about it.

I compared Nokia 8's 3000 mAh battery with Pocofone F1 4000 mAh battery timing in heavy usage - not lightweight usage. They last about same. In lightweight usage, even a snapdragon 425 phone with 4000 mAh battery can give longer battery than Nokia 8 and either beat or have same battery timing as Pocofone F1. I really like that you tried to do research. That's how you learn. But you need to gather much more evidence than what you provided to make a valid argument. That battery thing for instance, or understating what are the important instants for comparison of max pro m2 and note 7 performance in pubg, or that a device heating up is not the same as throttling, or how much difference can 3k vs 4k vs 5k battery should have in battery timing. I could go on. These are the kind of things you must learn about before you look at a YouTube video or listen to anyone's opinion, as majority of the reviewers don't know much about these things themselves. Half of them make wrong comparisons as one device's Bluetooth or GPS would be left on while making a battery drain test, other times they would use inbuilt speaker on one and wireless earpiece for the other and similar silly/careless mistakes. A good reviewer would even show you how long ago was the phone powered on as even that can give advantage to a phone. That's why people laugh at anyone that say "but the YouTube reviewer said~". Regarding what I said about all those devices, the best way to confirm or debunk it is asking the users of those very devices. Head over to their forums and review sections and read reviews and ask questions. Make sure you only look at the useful information because I've seen, for example, Redmi Note 7 users say "pubg runs perfectly on it. We play on smooth graphics because it slightly lags and heats up in medium/high graphics". If you focus on the first sentence, you'll forget that SD660 is supposed to offer much better gaming experience than that person is saying and just get tricked into believing it offers good performance.

Poor optimization, performance, battery, twice as much bugs than other os and ads. It's possible some devices may be properly optimized, have few bugs but the part about performance and battery is without exception. Take example of redmi note 7 because it's one of the most popular xiaomi devices. But first, you need to know what to expect from the specs you're getting. Unless you're willing to take someone's word for it, you'll need to do your own research. See devices with same specs without miui and compare them. Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 was often mocked by Note 7 users because it has an underclocked SD660. It has no os skin, didn't even have Pie at the time. So it must have poor performance and battery according to miui logic, correct? And for your information, under clocking and over clocking have a huge impact on device's performance. When I say huge, I mean it. But this device still managed to handle of high graphic settings of pubg. Even during driving, jumping and looking around quickly. Its battery lasts up to 7 hours in those settings. On the other hand, redmi note 7 would run pubg satisfactory on same graphic settings but nowhere near as good. It would lag when you'd jump, drive, look around, And after an hour or two of playing, it would began heating and soon throttling (kernel restricts cpu/gpu cores frequencies to as low as it needs to in order to avoid damage to components). The 4k battery would last around 4.5 hours. There is probably no phone with 3k battery that doesn't last same amount of time. Right now, most note 7 users play pubg on lowest graphic settings (smooth) in order to get same fps that M2 does in HD/FHD graphics. You will find this problem with all miui devices. None of them provide the performance and battery standard that their specs are supposed to provide. So how does miui offer better performance or better battery? Max Pro M1 has SD 636. Even that phone gives better performance in pubg than note 7 and its battery lasts up to 8 hours (longest of any device I know), it has no os skin - just stock android on Oreo. But that comparison probably doesn't help you understand why it's a big deal. J2 pro 2018 with Android 7.1, snapdragon 425, 2700 mah battery and 1.5 gb of ram can handle pubg on smooth graphics (same settings note 7 users play on, just a few less frames) and battery lasts 4-5 hours (same as note 7). My dad has this phone. Everyone I tell this to refuses to believe it, because how can such a old os, without os skin, only 1.5 gb of RAM with sd 425 can run pubg at all? About battery. Battery is truly tested in heavy usage. That's because devices with lower chipset "nm" are much more battery efficient than the old ones. In normal usage, a chipset from 8 years ago can give similar battery timing as the recent ones. In this case, we're comparing J2 Pro 28nm chipset with Note 7 14nm chipset - Note 7 has 4k battery (vs 2.7k battery). The comparison is so unfair for J2 Pro that it's like an Elephant equipped with canons Vs an ant. You can compare Nokia 8 vs Pocofone F1 too. F1 has more powerful and battery efficient chipset and bigger battery than Nokia 8, but still Nokia 8 beats it in performance by a huge gap and gives same battery timing in heavy usage. So one thing is clear. These devices are severely under performing - both, in terms of battery and performance and there is a reason behind it. You can do your research and tell me if it's something else. P.S most xiaomi devices with Type C with quick charge charge about same and sometimes slower than Micro USB with a 10 watt charger. About Realme 3 Pro. It's a excellent device and I highly recommend it but its battery endurance is same as MIUI devices. Not confirmed yet, but it seems to be same as pocofone f1. It's also prone to scratches so you should get a case and tempered glass when you buy it.

MIUI phones always have lower performance and battery than other phones of same specs, and heats up more as well. You can take it as a fact at this point. I've not found a single exception. - Nokia 8 with SD 835 performs way better than Pocofone F1 with SD 845. Nokia 8 handles Pubg on ultra HD without problem while Pocofone F1 heats up in FHD. Yet, it handles pubg on HD/FHD without a problem while Note 7 users play on Smooth graphics. It lasts 7+ hours while note 7 lasts 4.5 hours. 2. Position of fingerprint sensor is a personal choice. It's not a pro nor a con. - On a 6'+ phone, I'd rather it'd be at the back because it's easier to access. - On a 5' phone, I'd rather it'd be on front or the sides. 3. Yes, infrared port is good to have if anyone is going to use it. 4. Triple camera does not mean it's better than double or even single camera. Gsmarena itself agrees with this. I'm honestly surprised you thought it had a better display. Amoled screen show better black colours while IPS LCD show better white colours, however, amoled screens show unrealistic colours so the display experience is better on IPS LCD. And, AMOLED screens are bad for long term use as they develop problems sooner while IPS LCD are more durable. 6. Micro USB vs Typc C. Of course Realme 3 Pro micro USB is better. Body. - Realme 3 Pro is the device that survived drop tests from 10 feet of height without any damage and went on to work fine after being placed in water for 1-2 hours. - Try that with Mi cc9e and you'll have shattered glass pieces everywhere, its metal frame will be bended permanently which you'll have hammer it back in shape in order to replace its broken screen. Of course water would flood it easily after it. So Realme 3 Pro body is way better for long term use. - Plastic body is less scratch resistant but much more durable than other body types. That is their only flaw. Rest are advantages: lightweight, more durable, flexible. 8. Your logic in pros us wrong. That proves you don't know anything about specs. - HD display is a pro for gamers because even if you reduce resolution to qHD (960x540), it doesn't make a big difference in gaming experience and takes load off of GPU which allows it to play games on higer graphic settings. But since it's a Xiaomi with MIUI, I'm willing to bet its gaming experience can't even beat Realme 3 and Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2, both of which have weaker chipset. Depends on which particular phones you're comparing. Although I don't know a better alternative to Realme 3 Pro in this price. Someone said Xiaomi Mi CC9e but it's chipset is weaker, has HD display, low pixel density, doesn't support fortnite, has heavy MIUI so bad battery, performance and probably bugs. There is Vivo Z1 Pro but it's unavailable in my country and will probably cost 50% more than realme 3 pro when it comes. And I'll need to wait at least 2 months so other people can figure out if it has any problems, like hardware, software bugs/optimisation, camera etc.

M30 has Super AMOLED screen which offers better viewing angle (not important) and displays black colour better (while IPS LCD displays white colour better) so it offers better video watching experience. Its battery endurance is also really good. One of the best you can get right now. But its performance is terrible. If you want to play games, stay miles away from M30. Samsung A series are more balanced while Microsoft series have better battery life but bad performance. But A20 has battery exploding issues and I've *heard* that so does A30. Realme 3 Pro is overall better. Better performance and camera. And although it doesn't have Super AMOLED screen, it doesn't mean its viewing experience is bad. My dad's phone has Super AMOLED and I can tell it's *different* than mine but the viewing experience doesn't feel better at all. So only pick M30 if battery life is your priority. Max Pro M2 is also a good choice for long lasting battery and its performance is much better than M30.

If purely for gaming, then: Nokia 8 > Realme 3 Pro > Max Pro M2 > Realme 3 All of these phones have spectacular quality. They all survived drop tests from 6-10 feet of height, worked fine after remaining in water bowl for 1-2 hours and don't heat up. I highly discourage from buying Redmi Note 7 for gaming. Its performance and battery isn't up to SD660 and 4000 mAh battery standard, and it has too many hardware complaints. For past 3 and a half years i used Redmi Note 3 (great processor - Snapdragon 650) and that phone was awesome. In between many phones come in Redmi Note series but none of them justify the true successor and then comes the promising Redmi Note 7 pro..but due to flash sales, MIUI ads and laggy cam i stayed away with the device. And finally I came to know about this hidden gem Realme 3 pro great processor and gpu and cam quality is also fantastic due to Sony setup and bought it 1 month back..lets hope that this one also stay with me for a long time.. :-)

I would suggest seeing picture samples instead of getting angry. IDK if he is right or wrong except that Realme 3 Pro camera is awesome. And double price doesn't mean anything. There are phones with double price of 3 pro with same specs. One plus phone are expensive, even the slower ones with poor battery back up. Brand adds the price. And you aren't buying a camera, you're buying a phone that has dozens of usages. It's not the same as comparing 200usd camera with 400usd camera.

It just makes low light pictures brighter, which you can do with any phone using snapspeed, but people think it means it has a good camera. Realme 3 Pro camera quality is comparable to OP6T. It even uses the same camera lens as OP6T. I don't know about op7 but someone here compared 3pro camera with S10+ and found S10+ to be only slightly better. That tells you a lot.

People that know what they're talking about don't need Benchmark tests for chipset comparisons. Stick to your YouTubers and whatever you like to do. If you've the time, go check Realme 3 pro 6gb vs pocofone f1 6gb pubg gameplay on max settings. Pocofone fails manage frames as well as realme 3 pro does and mostly offers identical performance in games when according to you the difference is enormous? He is right. 710 gpu has clockspeed of 800 mhz while 845 gpu has 624 mhz. That's a big difference that plain algorithms can't overcome. Realme 3 pro "freezes" background apps by AI instead of killing them as well as have game space performance mode which optimises it for best gaming experience. Otherwise, the kernel pushes the chipset to depend as less as possible on gpu in order to save power. The focus of sd 845 was to make it more battery efficient which was partially achieved by having higher cpu clockspeed instead of focusing on gpu. Benchmark tests are only useful in finding out if a particular phone is *under-performing*. No one considers them reliable if the difference isn't enormous.

I think if you found the usage experience to be only slightly worse than S10+, then this phone is a must have. I'm hoping that they'll give an update to make its better. I'd like it to last between 6-7 hours in pubg on high settings. That's the only improvement I could ask for in it but I guess I can do that myself using GFX and GL Tools.

Extreme* fps bro Realme 3 P60 can also do 30-35 fps in PUBG in those settings. Check GT gaming review. And yes, realme 3 pro can get 40-60 fps in pubg. I see it on Dhananjay Bhosale channel but he recorded using video recorder app and kept at ultra frame so fps were at 40 but stable. I'm sure it can give 50-60 fps with extreme frame settings by gfx.

That is only half true. It depends on where you live. The target countries of this phone, like in India, most people use Micro USB cables/phones so if you've a type C and go somewhere without your own power brick/cable, it will be the opposite of what you said. So in India, Pakistan and such, having a micro USB is an advantage. And I compared this phone's charging time without VOOC with other phones that has Typc C like RN7 and RN7 Pro. With a normal 10 watt charger (not quick charge), it takes about 2 hour 15 minutes to charge completely. That is same time as those Typc C devices with Quick Charge 3/4. Type C does transfer data faster to PC but I don't think that's an important thing for most people unless someone has to transfer big files everyday between their PC and phone.

Well technically USB-C is much more reliable, VOOC charging is amazing i admit, but not everyone has a VOOC 3.0 exact at their house, while nearly everyone has a QC 3/4 USB-C charger if you go to a friend's house you are going to need to pick your power brick and bring it with you if you plan to charge, USB C is actually more durable then Micro-USB, and if you like to move you files to your desktop or laptop,ect USB-C has a much faster transfer rate, but in the end this is still a godly phone, realme you are doing great, apart from the micro-usb but thats not such a big deal, but comon realme, you have been doing this since realme 1, even at that time people were bummed that its micro-usb, just UPDATE to usb-c pls boi

Gaming beast in mid range price! Most important spec for gaming is the GPU because this is what processes all your graphics in games. No CPU can handle that kind of burden. SD 710 GPU is one of the most powerful out there. Its GPU is even stronger than SD 845, Kirin 970, Exynos 9810 and Apple A11 Bionic. Which means, it can handle games better than all of those chipsets. PS: Camera is love. Battery is decent, better than other phones but not up to my expectations. Probably charge every 2 days.

Yes, it's best. It's giving 40-60FPS in PUBG on HD Graphics, Colourful style and High Frame rate. I checked using GL Tool's FPS Counter for accurate result. This is without GFX tool or any tinkering. With GFX tool, it can manage 45-60 FPS in HDR mode as well. I haven't checked Ultra HD yet. It's using 15-18% battery per hour. And the temperature remains same after 1 hour of playing as it was after 20 minutes of playing.

Screen whitness is yellowish even set for cooler side screen looks somewhat yellowish whereas realme1 has not such issue 2. Scrolling apps in screen not smooth not the case in realme1 . 3. Dunno. As per the SD 710 spec sheet by Qualcomm, the chipset does have carier agregation baked in (https://www.qualcomm.com/products/snapdragon-71­0-mobile-platform). Dunno whether the phone manufacturer (Oppo / Realme) has coded it into the OS / software for the phone to utilise the carrier aggregation. Bear in mind utilizing these technologies in a phone (software coding by manufacturer) involves payment for royalties to Qualcomm, due to which many ph9nes exist on the market with chipsets supporting many features, which have not been taken up by the phone manufacturers to keep the cost down. TL,DR summary: Carrier aggregation costs money for Realme, and it is highly unlikely that it may exist in this phone, due to cost constraints.

This one is a very complex topic. On paper, 4G modem pre-installed with the SoC they equipped. The latest and fastest one probably is the one on SD855, even SD845 from last yest does beat this SD710 for a long miles. However, here is the thing, in real life, the throughput of 4G,and even 4G+ is actually not there. Your country telco is the biggest limit, only if your country telco really support these speed then it is a good thing to go for faster modem. But if it is not, then a smartphone with faster 4G modem got no advantage at all compared to smartphone with slower 4G modem. I can honestly tell you, no telco in my country even can surpass the speed limit of my 1st gen 4G smartphone supported 4G speed from 6 years ago, the real life speed is a far cry from these theoretical rated speed. It does faster than H+ overall, but not as much faster than expected.

This is exactly the thing that most people don't know, this is also where all marketing and sales guy cheating. The type C only useful when it is full blood USB 3.0 where it allow faster transfer speed, and also allow HDMI output via accessory. Most type C port for cheaper smartphone are just USB 2.0, so it is basically useless. If we all just talk about charging, then Micro USB and type C are no different. The normal charging speed and the fast charging speed between the 2 are the same, just that people keep feel the inferiority because the internet feed them with wrong information. Then, type C and Micro USB cable now are almost no price difference, both mostly can buy at very cheap price yet remain high quality. I really have no idea why people keep debating on these 2 cable type, yet they basically just get the same charging speed with either one of these.

These MIUI ads thing actually never bother me. Part of it can be turned off. Part of it is embedded to their system apps which cannot be removed. If you can't look beyond this then Xiaomi MIUI is not your cup of tea, that's it. The personal data collecting things also can be turn off. At least it got the option to turn off, unlike Google which actually trace you without your permission, which all Android smartphone does. So, don't use internet is actually the most safe. Even Apple IOS track user activities as well, just that they keep blame others while they keep silence when they are doing the exact same thing. Camera needs major improvement with regards to oversaturated colours and lack of detail in some shots. Micro-USB - VOOC 3.0 charges the mobile in 115-125 minutes without heating the device. Samsung and Redmi mobiles take 40% extra time for a full charge. Hence for charging purpose at least lack of USB-C is not a drawback.

Problems with MIUI (it didn't allow me to do/receive calls (!!), listen to music, play videos and use the camera). This the biggest problem, just after 6 months after my purchase :[ Then I rooted the phone and I put a cooked ROM in, then is working pretty fine... but now it's getting old... I need to change it. Don't know if I should take the Realme 3 Pro (I'm very tempted) or the Asus Zenfone Max Pro 3 ... All of this things are very useful for our daily usage.So ,i choose Realme 3 pro over Redmi Note 7 pro.

Faster data transfer, more durable as type C connector smooth, reversible = mean can be plug in both side, type C connector are are more durable as is made of thicker metal. Once you try Type C you never wanna go back to Micro USB.

Type C also support high speed data transfer but most of manufacture don,t implement this feature, also Type C is reversible connector. For example my MI 5 have type C port but data transfer rate still USB 2.0 spec. standard. Micro USB is also support USB 2.0 standards.

Beside fast charging, supposedly you also get faster data transfer. The physical difference that type is is symmetrical so users don't have to worry about orientation when plugging the cable in, is rather obvious. Do remember that "faster charging" offered by type c is different than Vooc rapid charge. Read on gsma article about it if you haven't

You dont need type c ... as This phone supports fast charging 20w with its charger in box while A50 supports 15w (they share same battery life 4000mah) so realme will charge faster even it doesnt have type c

It is ok to have a MicroUsb 2.0 since it is the universal. Like here in Philippines, you won't find a hard time looking for a cord. I guess Redmi Note 7 Pro has it match now. Just wondering about the rear cam 16mp.
