  • yes it is. It runs Android 4.1 JB

  • want to know if this mobile is compatible with skype and whatsps

  • This is an excellent single-core 1GHz android device. Good support, good camera, good features including NFC. Updated to Jellybean with no issues except tethering doesn't seem to work.

  • menu, settings, accessibility, uncheck kickback

  • Select menu and go to application and choose All Application. Look for Google Services Framework and select it. Delete Data and go back to system setting --> Info device --> System update and hit check now.

  • This is one super cool phone. I would definitely recommend it. Great battery time, crisp display, equipped with all features i know of + NFC :) Camera, sound, performance, look and feel + light weight I am loving it ... preferred it over Arc S.

  • I'm going to buy a new droid, my budget is about USD$270 and, so what do you think, This one or a Nexus i9020?

  • Dude, go to settings and search for updates. If it says update found.. start it there and then.. Prefer it do using a Wi fi connection.. Jelly bean does make a little difference. Project Butter and Google now are awesome.

  • how do u upgrade to jelly beans since it is running on ginger bread... i went to settings, about phone , then system updates.....but it shows "system up to date"

  • Its a good phone at that cost price and its real value for money. As many said the battery back up was not that good earlier and after auto upgrading to Jelly bean the battery life is enhanced. The features are really good with good performance.

  • battery time is very poor and plz software upgrade latest version available in market rawalpindi pk

  • Hows the phone. Actually i am in confusion to go for Sony Xperia Pro MK16i or Samsung Google Nexus S I9020A. Which is good. What is the user available memory in this.

  • Check this out! This smartphone hasn't barometer sensor.

  • Hi ICS comes for nexus s I have it its very gooood

  • Same with my sns i9023. Auto-rotate has issues..

  • In Settings > Location and Security > Uncheck "Use Tactile Feedback"

  • Better go to a mobile phone technician.

  • Dear Users, I'm using this phone. I have a doubt. While unlocking i.e. while swiping from left to right it vibrates. Is there any way to disable that vibration while unlocking the screen? Please try and let me know if any. Thanks in advance :)

  • When I update the phone then autorotaed is not working what can I do please help me to provide 9020a Odin flash file please

  • Galaxy W probably much better...Galaxy S is older but a VERY good phone, has the external memory slot, Touch Wiz interface and no reports of PURPLE Grayscale problems. Only thing I would say is that it lacks a flash for camera.

  • Had one from cpw in the UK. The grayscale colours came out purple on it's amoled display. Tried another handset, the same. At only a day old this company refused to refund telling me that since I had opened the box it was used. Also that the economy meant they no longer give refunds. Never will I shop there again or buy a nexus. The nexus is a Best Buy/cpw promotion, best buy have gone bust here, maybe I can see why, dumping faulty product and refusing refunds.

  • I want ICS! Everyone might do so. I hope that the OTA will start again as soon as possible...

  • I want ICS! Everone might do so. I hope that the OTA will start again as soon as possible...

  • And where did you hear that? This is complete nonsense. It's the most ridiculous thing to say, especially because you're talking it out of your rear... I do that all the time and calls are received just normally. He has a defect, or possibly bad reception. But don't start saying things without any confirmation. Otherwise you're just saying BS, turning your opinion into something without any accountability. Get real.

  • That is something that happens with Android phones. They put data first. Sometimes you will get calls someitmes you will not because of that. Data before Voice

  • i am having nexsus s which was unlocked..but when i m using gprs and playing games i am unable to receive calls sometimes..can anyone help??

  • After a long search on android phones, i came on conclusion on Nexus S in my budget in Rs.20,000/-. offcourse s2 is great but not comfortable for my pocket. I was already using Xperia X10i v.2.3, but was not at all comfortable wid that phone. i would like to know, weather all that things are solved in this phone as mentioned: *in x10, sms was not getting delivered wen using net or downloading. after closing browser, all the sms gets in the inbox together. (does this phone hav same problem, or all android) *in x10, earpiece quality was very low. one should have good grip between your ears and your phone to listen correctly. and in traffic it becomes impossible to talk.(according to me, Blackberry's voice quality might be the best in any phone of the world) *In x10, while attemping a call, as our ears or face touch the phone, its touch screen starts responding and works on any options on call menu.. dat is in between call, either it goes on HOLD or SPEAKERPHONE, Or open CONTACTS and dial number. (its wen you hav good grip at your ear while talking) I used c7, and apple 3gs. but dis thing never happened. *In x10, display was not visible properly in sunlight. *in x10, most important, dre was very poor battery back-up. after full charge, i used to chat, browsing, and call, and needs to charge in 5-6 hours. even i was using juice defender. So, guys, please help me, weather i can overcome with this solutions in dis NEXUS S? Even i am Bit confused between Nexus S & Galaxy S. Pls guide me. Or even guide if any other android is better. Thanks a lot in advance,..

  • yea, it will work on any network when unlocked

  • Can i get it free

  • Update your phone goddammit.

  • not worth buying as it does not have zoom faeture while you take picture, it cannot record HD videos at 720p, You can make videi calls through wifi but video calls via 3G cannot be done, it does not have FM, plus its audi output is at bottom, so it makes it difficult to listen sings i would suggest go for Samsung Galaxy S i9000 with Android 2.3.3

  • Does it work with wind mobile if you buy it unlocked?

  • Is it possible to integrate facebook contacts with google nexus?

  • Pls suggest me an android phone of the same price range...with hd video recording and hd game play...without any lags..

  • Its a classy handset. Superb functionality. Especially no preloaded apps. Gingerbread 2.3.5improves battery life.

  • I have been using this phone for a couple of months now. Noticed few areas which if improved makes this phone one of the best smart phones. Gorulla glass is missing, you cannot put a person on hold, go to phone book to read out another number to him. Also secondary camera does not work in 3G.

  • The phone is good but OS sucks! All Android v2.3 have no STK witch makes a huge draw back !

  • no hdmi or tv out.go for cml i410.

  • i'm going buy this cell

  • About the RAM: 512mb is the total,128mb is the RAM dedicated to the GPU(graphic processor, mainly for gaming), and 384mb is the RAM for apps, system, etc... The reason why the system is only showing 312mb is that every memory once formated lose some mb(just look at a 1gb flash drive, you'll have a little less than 1024mb). About the internal memory. System: 512mb dedicated to the OS, you cannot install anything in this one. ONLY the OS. Storage: 1/16GB. The "USB memory" is partitioned. 1Gb is reserved to apps, personal data, etc... USB: 15/16GB. Accessible via USB cable. You can put media files in it, some app will store data here too. You can transfer some parts of some apps here if your first gb is running low.

  • why dont you just throw it away or have it runned by an 18 wheeler truck

  • One of the best phones I've ever used in my life. This phone is so unique with a refined touch and feel. I've just purchased this set from Negri Electronics and in about a week I'm in love with it. Thanks Negri Electronics for the awesome white color.

  • display touch response is not good... images cannot be removed from phone.... i took a picture in this phone then i deleted the image the phone say the image was deleted but when i enter into the gallery the image remains as it is.......and this prob accoured in brand new GN-S AMOLED screen.

  • i received this issue in brand new box-opened phone......i took a picture in this phone....then i deleted the pic from gallery then again i entered into gallery but i saw the picture was present in the gallery....and after restrating the phone the issue was rectified.......anyone felt this prob before?.....

  • I bought one of these about a month ago. I hate the way the touch screen works. unfortunately I was not too bright and bought a 3 year plan. What a bargian... not. I would get rid of it in a New York second but am locked in. I HATE IT!!!!!!

  • Hi. You should definitely go for Samsung Wave S8530. I have it myself and it is a great phone, very easy to use.

  • i think you should go for samsung wave s8530 if you do not use apps a lot. its a great phone, has a nice camera with 720p hd video. also it has a solid build quality and it would be much much cheaper. hope it will help.

  • Daisy. Your daughter is right. post your usage requirements. I am sure you will find a suitable phone here on this site.... best'a luck !!

  • no radio!!!

  • I am a Nurse, 55yrs old and ready for a new phone. I am confident in using SMS etc. curently using a Nokia with touch buttons. Will this new phone suit me? My daughter 21 yrs old thinks I will not use all the applications, so no good for me. I am not sure now!

  • It's alright actually. no complains so far.

  • RAM in phone will not display in 100%, so if you saw 384 mb, it is total of unused memory without android uses, so the rest of RAM is used by android

  • actually the problem is in the operating system which is used by the samsung mobiles

  • Is this for real? Does anybody know when it will be available on eBay? I just checked eBay and they are only selling the T-Mobile version and pre-selling the Sprint 4G version... no clues about the AT&T version.

  • Good phone. Call quality and loudspeaker is better than HTC Desire Z(T-Mobile G2) my previous phone. Software and S-Amoled screen is top notch. Build quality is not so good. High gloss plastics highly prone to scratches. No Gorilla glass. Get imediately screen protector and case cover.... You are supposed to receive more software updates for this phone(for the lifetime of the phone) over the other phones since it is a Google phone. Call quality, connectivity, Super AMOLED screen and software updates are better than most of other droids out there. All other features are average or worse in comparison with other Android phones with similar release date.

  • my samsung is lock i cant opn my phon

  • Iam on Nexus S i9020T ( i can see in the back of my battre place ) I prefer saying that Nexus S only had 384MB of RAM. i can see that on my mem info of CM7 ROM only 345MB. 384 MB real , 345MB system read. I can feel in true HD games, i used to use DeLL streak and playing Eternal Legacy HD, it cannot run while background apps running untill i kill all task and give me free RAM around 312MB . THe the game start perfectly. On my Nexus S the game cannot run, just kick back to home screen, its like insufficient RAM ( it was not force closing ). So i assume nexus S only has totally 512MB - 128MB = 384MB. CMIIW

  • Why is the people in charge of this website not being careful in updating the phone's specs??? The HTC Desire is shipped on 3 different models (one of them supports 3G on 850Mhz) and this website doesnt reflect these "updates", on this Nexus it says its also known as i9020T, while this is a "variant" of that phone.

  • The speed reported using the internal memory outpaces the microSD alternative. I guess having an internal (soldered) nandflash is a better approach than having removable memory. Of course, you could use the microSD to hack things differently but then again, the phone is bootlock-free, so it's kinda pointless.

  • This is wrong. 1st.: The 9020T is the former i9020 (Tmobile AWS bands) 2nd.: The i9020A is SuperAMOLED. 3rd.: The 9023 is S-LCD.

  • this phone is nice than other in the market...with lots of specification rasonable price..i like it

  • If this is th Canadian version offered by telus or rogers/fido, i believe it has the exact same specs but a AMOLED screen

  • S-LCD is deal breaking on this version.

  • nice

  • No Super Amoled and still no HD recording??? FAIL!!!

  • Dude, see the 3G bands... the origianl Nexus S was for T-Mobile (900 / 1700 / 2100). This doesn't work with other providers in North America. The new has 850 / 1900 / 2100 bands which can be used across carriers in Americas.

  • It's same phone! LOOK HERE --->> So what's the reason to produced same phone and put different name?

  • lol +1

  • No external memory again crap
