I am using this phone ( J600 ) for 4 years. I used internet such as Facebook, installed java games etc. When I downloaded something ( songs, pictures from Facebook ) it was saved in phone memory. But after deleting those contents I did not get back the phone memory. Still I have no elements in my phone memory but it shows that phone memory is full. How can I get back my phone memory?

Bought one in feb 09' camera stopped(and video) in sep 09' then in nov 09' the vibrate mode didnt work (vibrater stopped) (yes i no that sounds gross) then by christmas 09' the speaker chuked it in on me so i said "fine thats the last Samsung phone i EVER buy" and bought an iPhone for myself for christmas which is the coolest phone ever!!

I am using this phone from 1 year. I had faced issue with call disconnecting. some times I would not able to disconnect at all.. phone does not respond. after some time... the device itself will restore. Besides that problem is that it has only 20MB Internal memory. we can not receive a file of greater size over BT also. BCZ by default the storage locaton is internal storage and user will not be able to change it.

This phone looks very stylish but has a lot of issues. my experience tells me that i had to take it for repairing for like 4 times in one year. and whenever u charge the phone, the antenna part gets really hot. the strip problem as another user has mentioned cannot be solved,i have tried 4 times. the screen gets all blank or stuck and the key buttons dont show up. all in all...please refrain from buying the phone,not worth it.

this is a very stylish phone, love the idea of the touch pad. but it has a lot of issues for me.. the music player can't be minimized, i can't use the other phone functions when playing music.. camera is ok but the videoplayer can't be paused.. and the phone heats up everytime i'm using it.. it's not even the battery part, it's somewhere below the batt, in the internal antenna part.. (is it normal? or is it just my unit?)

Its a brilliant phone I have had it about a year and a half, and am constantly dropping it, getting it wet etc. The only drawback I have found so far in the way of functionality is that the battery has started to get a bit unreliable. Other than that, it's an awesome phone. Oh, and looks way better in blue than pink or black :)

I had this for about a year until it broke. I didn't have any problems with the phone before it broke. It was also my fault that it broke because I was careless. I really loved this phone even my friends who had better and nicer phones than me. It was alright. whenever I text, the letters appears on the screen immediately and the soft touch keypad may be sensitive but once you get use to it, you can easily use the key pad. I wish I still had it for it was a gift to me and a nice gift, too.

As a reply yo Mr Yoon-Woo, there is no such problem in all samsung phones.please be infromed, it can be repaired under warranty if the defect is not a reason of your missuse. If display is broken or something happened cause of missuse, it will not covered under warranty not only in samsung but in all brands.. for your kind information check ur local dealers.

I've had it for a year during which it broke for about a month but then miraculously repaired itself again. The problem then was that it would just shut itself down randomly for no particular reason. Now I have a new problem which is that the screen goes crazy every time I slide up or down. The touch screen is very sensitive but wears very easily and the front of the phone starts looking very worn after a few months. Applications work well on a general basis but system reactions are quite slow.

i have been using this phone for a while now 3mths or so, it cost me $129 locked to vodafone i mainly use it for calling and sending sms, i choose this phone because of the price, function and looks. the downside to it is that it's not loud enough but u can always set it on vibrate and also u need to put mp3 and pic into the phone memory before setting them to wallpaper or ringtone which annoys me a bit but overall im satisfy

i don't think so, my j600 is good maybe ur hp is AP phone, not origin from samsung manufacturer key in *#06#, then will prompt a group of numbers, then count to 7th n 8th number,eg. 5962140123589, the 7th n 8th number is 01. if start wif 01, 02 etc, means is AP phone. 01 is the best AP phone. some of u said the sound is not good in term of music actually is depends the quality of the song itself, nothing to do wif the sound of the phone

u cannot save the new text messages that u r composing. but u can save the messages that ur sending via reply oprtin.. try this.. menu--> messages--> settings--> text message-->sending options make a tick in the reply path check box.. i think this will help u..

Had mine for a while now and have got too like it after a few little me problems nothing to do with the phone you understand! Just my big clumsy hands hated it for a few weeks as every time I tried to compose a txt I managed to hit one of the touch sensitive buttons on the front and kept on deleting my texts halfway thru composing them ! But have Now got used to the thing I like the phone Getting a bit worried about the slider as it seems to be getting a bit loose now only had it for less than a year ! Not to sure about the reception as it seems a bit fussy about signal strength ! But apart from a few little things I like the phone now and in the end it is a very cheap phone for the Amount of features it has so cant complain I suppose

But got a pair of bluetooth headphones but you cannot connect to your music files with them as the phone do`s not support this function and as you will find out the headphone socket is a multi function slot so you cannot use normal headphones as it has not got a socket for them !

I have had this phone for a few month now. There are many things that have dissapointed me about this phone. The memory is great... i dislike the fact you can only have 30 songs on your playlist. I have also found that i have had problems with the touch sensitive pad, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Phone crashes alot, this annoys me when i am on the phone or sending a text. In my opinion i'd suggest nobody gets this phone. If you want a sleek phone with a sliding action your better off getting a Sony Ericson phone. I have found that less problems occur with my new sony ericson phone.

There may be some critisism in any thing that we come across, I too have a Samsung j600. It has it's own positive & negative characteristics. After using Nokia, it'll be little hard to operate this mobile. But it 'll be ok after that.College students Can't use it in the classdue to the SMS (loud sending) sound. well guys...this phone is really good in its class....just try to compare other phones with this one at this price....i am sure u wont get many..or rather any...with such looks and features... so its not fair to complain... i admit the speaker sounds low...however...with a little effort u can make it sound gr8....use any sound editing software in ur PC and shape the volume level...try "Goldwave"..i got gr8 results.... most importantly these phone has a gr8 support for java softwares...almost 80 % software runs on this phone....i have installed text reader,face detection software,an assembly language coding editor,i also use this phobe as a web cam, just try java softwares....and u will discover a new phone each day... there are around 2000 games that i have tried on this phone... believe me guys... i hope u know how u install them....if u donno mail me at [email protected]

Quite simple really this phone is crap i have had it since september and wasnt happy from day 1 and then i had a problem it Problems were -Vibrate broke -Speaker broke -Could'nt hear other person -Buttons packed in -Had a fussing while on a call All in space of a week i took the phone back to shop they gave a new 1 and i got the fussing while on a call so i now have to talk on handsfree kit all the time I would not recomend this phone to anyone is simply a load of crap and it looks and feels like a toy phone

hi its better to switch of ur mobile while charging.. then u can see the indicator.. ur mobile will be fully n quickly charged only when u switch off ur phone. normal charging time when u switch off is 1 hr when u charge after emptying ur battery.

hi... the same problem is faced by me too. samsung has very low battery backup generally.. this j600's battery is too weak to withstand for even a single day... its a neither the phone problem or battery problem,,, its one of the major drawback of this phone..

This is the worst phone ever I have used. You can't make it silent during an incoming call. Only way is to lift the call or find the volume button and and reduce the volume to zero. You can't set it to a mode where both ring tone and vibration works. Phone shows full signal but the one who calls you will hear that you are not reachable. Oftenly, it displays letters in mirror view. ( Damn.. I don't know why this happens ) And the worst part is, you will hear your voice back when you are talking and the same happens to the caller who called. My friends and others are so frustrated to call my cell and they requested me to change my phone and promised that they will raise a fund for it if needed. This was all my terrible experience with this model within 3 months and now this phone is sleeping quietly in my cupboard as a show piece.

I recently purchased a Samsung J600 mobile about a month back and have noticed that the battery charge does not even last for a day. I dont make or receive too many calls , neither do i get time to listen to MP3 or take/view videos..i got the battery replaced last week and this week again the mobile is not retaining battery charge.I am a big fan of Nokia and have about 3 days of charge in my Nokia mobile.This is the first iam experiencing with a Samsung mobile. pls don go behind the looks... the phone is not good in sound.. you cannot hear the tone if someone is calling you in the traffic. moreover its irritating when u are about to cut the call nd it takes few more seconds to happen n thn u lose few more balance.. and its quite disappointing that u cannot use any other application while using the mp3 player.. it also doesnt support any of the theme files.. it also doesnt support most of the utility softwares that the other company mobiles support.. i was disappointed when i heard these things and feeling for my wrong decision to choose this mobile... pls don go behind the looks of it... this also doesnt lasts long... when u r using without the cover, the silver outline goes off and the back panel is made up of poor plastic... so after a month, this mobile also loses its looks.... the decision is up to u..

I had the same problem. Dont keep replacing it. its your SIM Card thats at fault. I took mine into vodafone, coz I couldnt receive or make phone calls or txts, do the guy at vodafone took my SIM Card out, rubbed it between his fingers, and put it back in. worked perfectly after that. He manually reset the SIM. Nothing got deleted off it though. Hope this helps for next time!

When u bluetooth stuff 2 ur phone it automatically goes 2 ur phone memory if u have 2 much in ur phone memory the phone won't accept it,I suggest deleting sum of ur files or moving them 2 memory card 2 do this find the thing u want and click options then go down till it says move 2 memory card then a screen should come up with a tick in the thing u wanna move, then click move then on the menu where it says images videos etc go 2 the right thing i.e pictures 2 pictures and music 4 music and clik options then move here, that should work, or it could b cos ur phone don't support the file type 2 start wit, hope this helps

Hi I just got this phone today and I was wondering about how to change the volume buttons. Currently they just change the keypress volume - which everybody automatically turns to 0 anyway because a noise every time you press a button is annoying as hell. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I can change this into an overall volume button? If that can't be done that's the most pointless volume button ever.

I got a 2GB memory for it and it appears on the screen and there is a folder on my phone to store things, but when I bluetooth pictures to my phone from my computer it just says memory full and then doesnt accept the file and does not give me an option of saving it to the memory card. Anyone got any ideas why this is happening and how to save bluetooth files to the memory card?

hi i bought this phone for the past 5 months... before it really was good everyone liked its style they said it was soooooooo stylish i agree it has a mobile tracker which is really great the security is awesome, i could choose wheter the could be locked but for some features not that much because --i can not minimize the mp3 player, --i receive some messages very LATE (sometimes i need to turn my cellphone on and off just to see if i have a message.) --sometimes when i want to take pictures my camera doesnt work so good that i have to take a picture for a long time because it takes time to take a picture --my friends always accidentally calls someone because of the super sensitive easy touch keys --i cant set a tone for the messages only the default msg tones are allowed to be used --when sending messages, i wait for a long time so it would be send sucessfully --i could store limited messages --i cant zoom the taken pictures --there is no themes just skins (blck or whtie) thats it for now *the things written are based on experience*

Its hectic to find a new file (image, sound or video) copied in to a folder which has a big list of files. 15> Songs or videos cannot be played while transferring through bluetooth also files cannot be moved to memory card while transferring... 16> A message in inbox, moved to a user folder cannot be moved back to inbox.. 17> Mp4 Videos with a higer resolution, if played will not come properly.. (try for yourself by playing a video recorded by N73) 18> I tried like hell to put a reminder.. It just wont ring on time.. I dont know why 19> No full screen video playing, so if you have plan to watch any movie in this phone then forget it.. 20> Prepaid sim users, if checked balance through entering the desired code ie may be *123# or something, in most times it says "not done".. 21> The phone doesn't vibrate and ring together.. 21> If senting the same message to 3 or more people by selecting many names from phone book at a time, the phone will go overload and message will be sent to only 1 or person.. 22> Earphones are not made a perfect fit for ears, so if we are listening to any songs, standing in a crowd or while traveling, we cant really hear any effects coming through the earphones 23 > Wihtout pairing devices, bluetooth transfer cannot be done.. thats one good security but I feel this is the biggest drawback of this phone.. Also only 20 devices can be paired and saved in phone after that we have to replace any.. now that was really a big big big draw back list, right.. ---- the awesome things about this phone--- 1> can put .3gp video as wallpaper 2> if we zoom a picture and apply as wallpaper while it is zoomed then only the zoomed portion gets saved as wallpaper..( works only if pictures are in phone memory) 3> rocking earphones.. (maybe better than any other company's earphones, but we have to listen to it while sitting in a silent place) 4> all java games can be installed but only through direct download to phone via gprs.. 5> inserting 2 gb memory card and filling up 1900 mb... the phone never ever gets hang or slow.. gives the same performance. But if we scroll through files inside memory card, it takes a bit time to load 6> sleek metal design, touch sensitive with 1.3 mp camera but not scratch proof.. 7> mobile tracker technology.. thats the most awesome thing.. -------so people if u want to know anything more about this phone mail me @ [email protected] take care all j 600 users..... i have this fone since about 8 months. its hardware is just fine, even the touch keys dont give any trouble but internally it is not much attractive, the camera can never click a shake free image in a 1000 years. the phone memory is just 20MB and any file sent via bluetooth above 20MB isnt sent to the memory card directly and is denied which is quite stupid. sound quality is fine but the volume is just too low. the fone doesnt ring and vibrate both at the same time, just one of these... the message tone is to be chosen from 4 default ones and we cannot apply owr own tune. the fone doesnt support the most common .jar files, finding apps and games for this one is a big headache... IF ANYONE KNoWS THE DESTINATION OF APPLICATIONS FOR THIS PHONE (.MIDP) PLEEEEEZ HELP ME OUT......

I bought this phone for �50 in pink on O2 for my daughter and I must say for the money this phone is very good value. The camera is ok - not brilliant but ok. It has an MP3 player, bluetooth etc. Not bad for only �50. If you are intending on having a few songs on this phone then I would definately recommend a memory card. There has been a lot of reports about the phone hanging or freezing but we have never had any of these problems.

I swapped this phone with my mum, about 2 month ago, from a motorola flip up. Bad Points: With out a memory card this phone can only hold 3 of my songs. where do a buy cheap memory cards under �5 or �10 at the most... The camara is not very good, you cant shake and the camera takes a while to take the picture.... When calling someone the phone locks, wich is annoying on a touch screen, when you accidently call someone... It wont let me transfer pictures to my computer... I cant hear it ring, am i deaf??... Good points. If i charge the phone all night the battery lasts 2 days - 5 days... It comes in blue... If any one can help thank you...

After I lost my beloved old samsung d500 and another short lived affair with my moto L6, I went back to samsung. Since I really didnt want to spend much, the Univercell guy, suggested the SGH600 or SLIK as the adverts claimed. Ive had it now for a few months, so here my appraisal One thing most samsungs have is style and this is stylish to the core, has a very good smooth slider mechanism. Very decent build quality (good use of chrome), nice compact size. Infact everyone who saw it were suprised at its sub 6K price infact based on looks alone! When it comes to performance, thats where the sub 6K quality comes glaring to the hilt. As reported by many others The Good - Looks - Battery life - samsung s/w cd to sync and stuff The OK - decent audio output - camera images - has provision for memory expansion - the very limited music player features - Calls dont drop, unless ure in very bad signal areas The Bad - Phone heats up - inboard memory is only 20MB shared and it wont read of memory card directly, so u have to copy your mp3 to phone memory and set it up as caller ring (u can copy max 2-3 songs) - the touchscreen buttons, is over responsive and can get quite obtrusive - the headphone quality, doesnt say in the ear at all - camera/photo quality very average The Ugly - The blessed phone freezes frequently ! during calls, playing games etc and I have to remove the battery to reset it - when the call ends, the phone is still doing some wierd processing and doesnt close up for a few seconds ! - the charger conked in 2 months conclusion - Am a bit dissapointed with the phone performance, because Ive always been a samsung fan. I exhanged the moto L6 because it kept droppin calls, but not once did it freeze up on me. The Samsung on the other hand works ok and suddenly acts up like an errant kid. Still its a decent buy for its price tag ! As for me, I'm upgrading back to the high-end and am looking between the nokia n82 or SE p1i

been using a nokia model till i saw j600. i must say, i am satisfied. like any other mobiles, you can't get all the features you want in one mobile. this model doesn't cost that much but you'll surely get more than what you money's worth.

I bought this cell after reading the comments here...i really have my doubts about how genuine these reviews are. The phone has a great set of features including bluetooth and MP3. The camera is ok - not brilliant. I think everyone should stop complaining as this is a good phone for the money. The phone is great. I jus don't like phones with 1.3mp, pictures don't come out well and u can't shake while taking a pic. Yes, u can use other phones with bluetooth, coz I have a motorola and I have downloaded lots of songs and pic to the samsung phone already. Only things is that it requires a password when downloading from phone to phone, which I find is great. The phone is great u all should get one, but Motorola phones are the best, whilst samsung phones u get service where ever u go, so is motorola.

Got J-600 4 months ago problems- 1)no background play for the music player( no minimize option) 2)sometimes hangs when call comes 3)cant install games or applications recieved through bluetooth or pc. To install, they should be downloaded using the phones gprs only. 4)my headset had to be replaced within the first 3 months. 5)back cover is bad &,antenna heats up fast , 6)you cant get a cryptel case or condom cover for this set. 7)no theme support. etc. merits 1)stylish 2)good camera 3)good battery backup 4)superb touch keys 5)quality music output&radio. etc in my opinion a good set for this price.

I got this mobile a month back and I started getting probs right from the next day..battery got overheated and when asked the RT nagar service centre they offered some lame excuse saying due to TFT screen blah..blah..blah.. Again I gave it to Rajaji nagar service centre where they serviced and the manager personally used the phone and assured but in vain nothing happened..again it has been taken to the shop where it has been got and they repaired twice and still it continues to be in the service centre..They didn't provide any stand by phone and when asked for replacement a customer support person spoke very rudely...Is this is the way that samsung is earning money??? So buyers think for a while b4 buying this model.....

I love this phone. Its styling, voice clarity, FM radio, and music player are just what I wanted. I bought a 2GB micro-card so that I can store my video and MP3. The only suggestion is that the phone speaker should be able to turn on anytime without requiring that a call be connected.

Software connectivity with PC is pretty good and easy Message sending has some cool features like multiple To fields so that same message can be sent to multiple people at same time Touch key pad is really smart and brings a lively look to mobile,however inexperience users will end up making calls mistakenly which is annoying:p Camera and Video recording quality is above average Body is not scratch resistant so better to have mobile cover earlier to keep the brilliant look 20 MB internal memory shared 200 sms capacity If you are transferring a file to your phone via bluetooth then it stores it in phone memory[doesn't store it in memory card] which is stupid enough well overall i will give 9/10 to it and if you are the one who spends most of the day fiddling the messages,call ,music and radio ,Samsung j600 MUST be ur choice as it was for me. go00000000ooo 4 it!

Ive had my j600 for 2 months now i like the phone but am a little dissapointed. i can't turn off that annoying message sent tone and you only have a choice of 4 message tones! You cant assign your own!! The mp3 player is good with headphones but as soon as you take out the headphones and use the songs as rintones the volume reduces dramatically i keep missing callers because i cant hear the phone ringing and it doesnt matter which song i use they are all the same. I really like the phone... it is simple to usse apart from i have one problem, how do i get rid of the tone it makes once i have sent a message.. it really is quite annoying and very loud the only way i have found so far is by plugging in the headphones. Surely there is another solution.

Hi. I bought Samsung j600 5 days ago, and i like this mobile, I am a kind of mobile doctor so i always check the handset fully after buy. This handset better than d600i, d820, nokia n70, e50, 6230i. The sound quality is nice and clear you can hear the call on bus streets also. the mp3 is suprb, camera is nice takes clear pictures and videos, there is no led flash and i dont care as well. I checked FM RADIO and i shocked the radio is too much clear and when i did speacker on so the sound was really loud, voice recording is also fine , If you are intrested to buy this set please go and buy, everything is nice, even i checked bluetooth so i found it fast from nokia, sonyericsson and motorola phones. if you save mp3 sounds in memory card so you can set for ringtones. i think this review will help you to suggest, if you have any problem or confusion so ask me on [email protected] . I've just got one of these and I love the styling. The fact you cannot assign custom sounds to message tones is a real annoyance and I was going to return the phone because of this, but instead I've decided to keep it and contact Samsung instead to see if they will change the firmware to allow this. Everyone who is also annoyed about this should do the same. Go to this page - - and click on Mobile Phones and submit a proposal to Samsung saying you want this feature!

i own samsung e 250 but a user there asked me for tips on samsung j600 so here is the way to install games and java files on it on it. 1. Transfer the .jad and .jar files to the phones memory to the 'Other Files' folder. You can transfer the files from Samsung PC Studio's 'Phone Explorer', or just transfer it straight to the memory card and move it to 'Other Files' from the phone's menu. If you don't have a .jad file, you can download 'Jad Maker' (google) and make a new one. 2. Exit all menus and type in this code: *#9998*4678255#. You should now get a 'Activated' message. Java install is enabled. 3. Go to the 'Other Files' folder and select the .jad file (should be 1kb). Press 'Options' (left touch key) and you should get a 'Do you want to install' question. Press 'Yes' to install. 4. To deactivate Java install, simply type the same code again. You should now get a 'Deactivated' message.

I have had this for for a couple of months now. Its very good but quite unstable as the head keeps wobbling but that might just be mine. There is an alarm set by the way you can set it for anytime. The memory is horrible though.. I am only allowed 1 song on there. I suppose I have to take less photos which is horrible as i am a camera freak! x

I just bought this phone. The phone looks great and the feather touch keys are simple great. It really has all the great feature except that they have not given any preset meledious ringtones, hence we need to download all the ringtones, also the ringtone and the music player volume is very very low. can any one suggest what really is the volume of this phone very low or is they any settings to increase the volume. The j600 looks and feels very nice, but then little things about the phone start to say its not as good as it looks, firstly the text message tone can not be changed to music, the phone speaker is very quite and not loud, the screen quality is really poor, only 64k, but dont be put off because there are loads of good points too, the phone tracker is WOW... the mp3 player is cool as long as the hands free is used, it dont have bluetooth 2.0 but it is fast enough, would i say buy one? well its up to you, if you dont mind not watching videos and no voice control or remote control via bluetooth, and a poor screen quality, the phone is hard to customize, as message tones or alarm tones cant be changed, and the menu system only has 2 diffrent ways, overall i give this phone, 7/10

for all users of j600... to avoid the tune coming after each sms or bluetooth senting.. just minimize or turn off your keypad tone ----draw backs as far as i know---- (comparing to all other company models) 1> no option to change sms tone or alarm tone 2> no way to minimize the mp3 player 3> no direct recieving of files to memory card as far as i know... 4> we cannot scroll through files by opening it when they are inside memory card In phone it has the scrolling option (when we open files) 5> without copying to phone from memory card, we cant keep any user tone as ringtone same thing for background picture i.e. cannot put a picture as background directly from memory card - we have to copy it to phone.. 6> no themes avilable for phone.. 7> doesnt support .Wav files with a higher bit rate 8> cannot open pictures which has resolution more than 1280 x 1024 9> doesnt supports .3gp files more than a certain bit rate and also doesnt support certain .mp4 files 10> softwares cannot be installed even if is in .jar (java) format. 11> no video ringtones.. 12> only 4 inbulit playlists available for playing songs and that with only 30 songs capacity each.. 13> if songs are subdivided into folders then they cannot be added to playlist, they can only be played from that location. now thats really a big big big draw back.. ---- the awesome things about this phone--- 1> can put .3gp video as wallpaper 2> if we zoom a picture and aplly as wallpaper while it is zoomed then only the zoomed portion gets saved as wallpaper..( works only if pictures are in phone memory) 3> rocking headphones.. to get rid of the tone that plays at the end of a call or sending a text, you need to press #key to turn it onto slient mode!!! Trust me i have just tried it!!!! its heavenxxx

a question, I got a memory card and I set the phone to use this instead of phone memory but when I try and transfer music to it it will only do it to the phones memory so I have to do songs at like 2 at a time to phone then manually transfer them. Any help?.... please

the phone has a nice design bu the touch keys are a bit arkward and i keep pressing them by accident radio and bluetooth are good features although the ring tones and message tones are limited overall a good phone 2 questions: 1. does anyone know how to change the browser shortcut key? is it possible? 2. how do you put songs onto the phone if you have Windows 98 as the CD only provides for 2000+ ?

radio sounds in mono!! :( Audio player cannot be minimised!! Interface is awesome! its fast.. built is sleek n cool..compact n small! awesome vibration but no "vibrate and ring" option! does not support edge either..reception is great! battery too..

gagpops go to settings the phone settings the scroll down to offline mode and turn it off,hope that helps.

The signal bit is horrid..whenever i get signal bars..i can never call anyone as there is the offline mode sign..and when i have no signal..it goes away but i can still not text or call anyone..does anyone have any advice how to stop the phone sign?

I just got this phone and i love it except for one thing, when you send a text or make a call you get a messege tone and then it shows your remaining balance, is there anyway you can turn the tone off???? i dont mind seeing my balance but that tone is driving me mad lol.

Just got this phone today, and for my needs [mainly calling/texting, with some light WAP browsing, listening to the radio] it is ideal. It's got all of the standard phone features, the menu system is well-thought out and very responsive - much better than my O2 Ice. There's no noticeable menu lag, and it's yet to crash. The design looks good and the camera provides decent-enough picture quality for a phone [if you want to take pictures of a high standard, get a digital camera - not a phone!] Also, the touch sensitive buttons, while I am getting used to them, are rather fancy. yes there are 4 touch sensetive buttons. the scroll up and down thing and the menu button and numbers arnt tho. to be honest the touch buttons are a bit of a pain cos i keep accidently touching them and it exits you from whatever you are doing.

I bought this phone from o2 yesterday and although I love the phone, there is on thing that really bugs me about it. The predictive text setting stays on if you just create a text message from scratch but if you reply to a message, you have to manually turn the predictive text on. If there is anyone that knows how to stop this from happening, please let me know asap to prevent me from having to return the phone. Thanks

this phone is great! i just brought and so far its great, this volume ok but can be louder, but it same as e900 high volume it mostly depends on the song, 9if its high or low) anyway i really think people should buy it under 100pounds, great quality, FM radio, bluetooth and YSB sync, it similar to e900 so if you want to get cheaoper version! GO FOR IT!

Ok so I am yet to actually see this handset for real but looking at it and reading about it,it seems alrite! I work for a mobile company and 1.3 megapixels is perfectly fine unless you are a photographer then what does it matter whether its 3 or 2? It has all the features people look for mp3 player and memory card slot! I av to say its gona be a gud seller!

actually the first colour screen phone on sale is ericssons t68 which had 256 colours and second was trium eclipse with still 256 colours but a larger lcd screen of 160 x 120 the ericsons was 101 x 80 pixels and non were tft they were stn or cstn which stood for super twist nematic and colour super twist nematic respectivly,not long after sony joined erisson and launched the t68i withe camera module then shortly after nokia launched its 7650 with a massive 4096 colour 176 x 208 pixel screen BUT mokias communicater has a clour screen of 4096 colours but was considered greyscale due to its inelegibility to realy produce colour it was more shades than colours

Sorry dude. It was samsung T100, That was back in 2002. "The colour TFT LCD screen, featuring 4096 colours, was the first of its kind in the world." according to iMobile. Nokia's first color model was 7650 (also in 2002). However Nokia had 9210 communicator back in 2001 with color screen. If you know any source with more info please post.
