It is a nice phone but sometimes it cause problems with screen and slider.Sound is fantastic and I did not satisfied with zooming in 1600x1200 (not in video recording). The zooming is only available in VGA camera.And the internal memory is not too much.But the games are superb the motion gaming has a different experience.And the accessories of this one is not available in most of the cities.

F305 is usually best for gaming ...but it lacks in other features like.... 1. the os becomes corrupt or hanged often.. 2.the messaging becomes quite difficult while sending in groups. 3.it does not support 3g. 4.the display screen often gets damaged.. I have used only for 1 year after that the display was not working and when i went to the sony ericcson service centres, they said that the problem cannot be resolved. I hav had this mobile phone for 2 years now. It worked perfectly for the 3 quaters of the first year. After that my phone started to become a bit slow,expecially when i try to open my Camera Album folder. normally takes about 2 or 3 seconds but after it used to take atleast 15-20 seconds. Also i couldn't install any applications or any games. It says that it cannot write te file. This problem should be solved as soon as possible because this phone is a gaming phone and there is no use of it if you can't play games on it in the first place.

Hv been using ds h/s for 3 years & it gave no problem. I think its the best for music lovers as the muzeek quality is gud. I mean with two speakers side by side, sound effects are very clear.. n abt games... i wnt comment coz i found some of the games really gud and easy to play whyl sm were jst impssble to play.. Camera z ok for 2mp bt video recording is worst.. Also dnt support all kind of files & e-books.. Battery lyf z gud in my opinion.. Atleast better than my nokia n95 & n73 & my samsung h/s that i used earlier.. N finally, the problem z vd the display due to the slide.. Bt i think this prblem arises woth mst of the double display mobile phones.. Even my nokia 6101 gave this problem.. Well on an average i wud rate it 5/10.. Kk time to repair the display :) :) But i wnt be changing the cell coz i jst love the muzick quality of it!! Maybe i'll use it as a walkman :D :D LOL.....

A little more... ~ The camera quality is HORRIBLE! The image will appear pixelated on the screen. If you click a pic from this mobile, and want to make it your wallpaper, it will not fit on the screen! It will appear as a small centered image, and the rest of the background black. ~ You will very soon have to change the display. ~ There's only one plug-in system to plug in your earphones, charger, etc. The system is delicate and the pin of the plug of your earphone/charger can break easily/ won't fit properly after a few months. The plug loosens basically. ~ It is designed for motion gaming, but wait! The games aren't at all good. It could satisfy a kid, like I was.. But otherwise, even for gaming purposes, I'd NOT recommend buying this phone!!! You could get a better gaming experience on touchscreen phones/ other phones. ~ its life is not dependable. do NOT buy this cellphone. It is just too costly for its price. Its correct price should have actually been less than around Rs 2,000. I also read somewhere that this phone is not made by Sony Ericsson, but by a company which Sony Ericsson had once grouped with. This h/s sucks. Courtsey Sony Erricson. Value for money to mobile repair centers. Before you buy this h/s. Take up a monthly strip change contract with mobile repair shop. Also mobile require s/w update after every 2 months. Works really slow. Overall if you have no work and good money which means u dont mind going to repair center uncountable times then this h/s is right choice for you.

Hi Have been using the F305 for about 18 months now and the experience.. :-( 1. Had to change the display thrice - because of a problem with the slide(r). 2. Single Alarm. 3. Games get unistalled by themselves !! 4. Does not support Themes' download. 5. Bad casing - breaking off at places. 6. Speaker Phone is not a Speaker, afterall. 7. Low Message Storing capacity. 8. Not able to sell it off, I bought it for near abt Rs. 7.5K and the price offered for it now is Rs.900 (max) 9. A VERY VERY POOR BATTERY backup. 10.Gets stuck, at times.

Worst phone Ever. I have been using thes Phone for 2 years and this my reviwe. SO please please never buy this phone. Why ?! Sony Ericsson says that this phone is for motion games, I bought it for that,well its not. the motine games uses the camera, for example in "hore race" game you sufer to move your hors right, the hors will stuck in on side of the screen and will never move no matter what you try hard to shake the pnone tun it aid to sid flip it or what ever you do. The phone do not suport themes, ther are only 3pre installed themes you stuck with no further mor. and the pnone do not support flash lite, ther is no flash at all. The web browser is worst ever, the images that is rendered is small and blured you cant see or under stand any thing from it. The phone does not support multi-tasking, for Exampel when you are browsing the web and you wona minimis it to do another thing like reading an SMS you have to close the browser, And if you accidantly hit the close line bottontne the browser will close on its own and the page you browsing will be lost you have tostart all over again. In media gallery when you want to see an image you cant zoom at it, you only can browse on them and see them generalrly. if you wona but the image ass a wallpaper it has to be 176X220 resolution to fit full screen, that means images captured by camera wont go full screen. the phone auto reset its self that means if you are browsing the images and seening an image and left the phone for twenty seconds, it will close it automatically and go to stand by screen. Very annoying wen you are geesing on a picture or left the phone for a wile, but good if the phone freez. you can have calls at the log entry for only 30 days,thats not bad, but you have to clear it ub manually so you can save new entrys or the phone will tell you that the memory is full Knowing htat its not and the memory is empty or hasl lots & lots of free space. Same for SMSs Stored on the phone, it can store u to 30 meseges on the phone memory after that it will tel that the message you are writing cant be saved becuase the memory is full do want to save it on the sim or it will be lost. its not game findly, it support only java games and when you install over 50 games it will install no more it will show you amesage during instalation telling you that its un abel to install. The sound throug the loud speaker or the ear set is noticibly and the connector for the ear set will disconnwct on its own, annoying when listenig to radio or to song, oh another thing the conector is not stabell that means if it shake alittel if you are putting the Phone in your bocket the audio in the ear set will go wrong and fade away and if in radio it will disconnect. That most of the worst thing I can remmeber about this Phone right now. Some of the good things about it : - Good 2mp camera (but no flash) - very fast gif images ( 36 frames per second I have tried it my self by composing my own GIFs) - good for some java games: - very good audio quality (nowing that its low volume) Last word, as a heavy gamer I wished that phone and its games would be like a psp ao nokia N-Gage 3d games like games, Bought it for that, but it gave me a very big disapointment. I hope the rumurs about the Phone-PSP be right and I will be the firs one to buy it in the Whole world.

The phone lasted 5 weeks before the screen became distorted every time i slid the phone. Also froze a lot before that and had to take the battery out. Got it repaired, but it took so long that i had already went out and bought an LG Renoir. Another terrible phone... don't buy it, just go for a reliable Nokia :D

I have this phone for about 1 and half years. This phone is decent in performance. Good for gaming with some good pre-installed games. However there are lot of other problems such as Display goes of after some time(because of the slide). Some basic feature are not available in this phone, which are even in other low end phones. There is an occasional problem with network which gets resolved by restart of moving the slide few times.

People its a game centred mobile! Buy it only if you love gaming! I've around 65 games installed in my phone and still it doesn't slow down or hang! And even the heaviest games work smooth and with perfect speed! Best mobile for the game freaks like me!

This handset is almost same as SE s302.. Only difference is its a slider phone with no flash light for camera. Camera performance in mrng is good. but since it (f305) doesnt hav led flash da cam. quality in n8 is not so good.. Other than this it has good music quality ( loud ness) than s302. battery quality is not so bad.. it lasts after 1&1/2 days with moderate use. Most of java applications works finely.. I didnt find any hanging problems with java applications.. but disappointing 1 is it hangs when playing songs even if i use only 1gb mem. card.. i dont like shake function bcoz u hav to middle button while shaking the handset.. otherwise it will not recognise.. & no multitasking & copy paste text is possible.. so plz plz dont by it.. its better to chose Naite or Nokia 2730.

only thing is that never buy sagem se fones. Ex: F305, S302, S312, W302, W395, J132, K330, R300, R306, T250, T270, T280, T303, W205, Z250, Z320. Dont buy them. Bcoz no themes. No multitasking sound recording only 30sec. Lot of hangs. No a2dp bad interface. Hangs while adding music to media player. No image rotate. No image zoom. And more... I totally agree with the comments, it freezes and screen goes white it doent work mutch gammes i put in, the only good bit about it is the dual speakers its unreal and loud and the mp3 player is like walkman, i woudnt concider as game phone and can be annoying to use internet with by clicking continue everytime you click a link and i cant knock it off. well i supose its a cheap phone cant expect everything but i hate it when the phone keeps pricking about with the flashy white screen, i have the phone almost a year refurbished 1ce. is ok but not great woudnt concider to have the phone for long term

This is my 1st phone. Ive had it for almost a year now with no problems. I found it difficult to use at first, but I got used to it. Gr8 if u like games and as a 1st phone, but it cant play youtube vids even with optimisation. If u want to play youtube vids, I would suggest looking around and doing research. If you find a phone that supports RTSP/3GP with H263/AMR video (If u find a phone that says it supports H.263 I think it mite work). A range of fun games including great motion games, but when viewing pics, the motion sensor doesnt come in action there, even though it does in other phones. Overall a good phone if u dont like touchscreens or if ur getting ur first phone. Also great for gamers.

F305 definitely has problems. The phone does go blank after little usage & thats true. I asked the service center guy, he said its a common complain they are receiving with F305. If u are covered under warranty, u are lucky otherwise be ready to spend 1,500rs on the 'Flex cable' that goes bad & that leads to the screen going blank. My simple suggestion, 'dont buy this phone'!

I purchased a SE F305 one year back. It was working fine. But I am not able to connect the handset to PC. I downloaded the latest PC suite and USB data cable drivers and installed them in my PC. When the handset is switched off windows recognizes the SE data modem but when the set is switched on it goes to data transfer mode showing the drives for phone storage and M2 card storage. Recently the games including motion games disappeared. Can I get them back?. Has any one successfully connected the phone to PC? Syed Mohideen.

Screen is 176*220 resolution.. go for any 240*320 resolution screen for good clarity.. loud speaker n music player is good and very slow processing.. That too in case of transfering file via bluetooth.. Taking pics is also a problem.. takes long time to save the pic after the snap... Overall-dont go for this...

I'm 20 and I brought this phone 6 months back with my OWN, EARNED money. All of you know how much it would mean to a 20 year old. I brought it for 8.5k and in all fairness, the phone SUCKS! Utter disappointment after my w700i(which was so amazing and lasted for 2 n a half years). f305 hangs like there's no tomorrow. Absolutely no message space and the ringtone volume couldn't get any lower! However sony ericsson does know how to cater to its' customers. They gave me an extra back panel!!! I recently in Dec,09 bought the F305 , very stylish ,but nermurous problems like : - the phne goes in a spasm and hangs with rainbow colour screen. - on receiving calls or dialling out calls the phne cuts off after speaking for 4 seconds. - the sliding top is sticky and the phne just freezes up. I'm at all sorry I have bought this phne on a special deal. I would advice south africans not to buy this model.

I have owned the phone for couple of months now. Would not recommend it. Reasons- keypad not appropriate if you sms a lot. poor ringtones and themes. Does not support certain audio files, i dont care much for games but the ones on it are not worth the expense and you cant play antything heavier than 500k. Networks in india dont provide support for this phone and neither does sony erricson by the way.

Please don't buy?! What kind of comment is that? Just say you don't like it and that's it.. Who cares for the themes or games? Grow up and you'll forget those features. One thing good about this phone and that lacks the majority is the "big" (according to trends) font size. I can't find any other phone with such acceptable fonts like this one. I own a samsung E590 and the fonts are terribly small. Why should I make effort in reading? Companies should give the consumer the possibility to choose big/small font mobiles but they aren't doing that. We're paying them so they should meet our demands not the contrary.

he is correct. i had bought this phone on 22nd oct. 2009. and i m too disappointed with it. NO memory backup( Restore Function), slow process, no equalizer ( it had but don't work except for BASS++ and TREBLE++), cant type msgs fast. also, none of my java applications work on it( except games). Bad media player looks, big fonts, and hanging problems. Dont ever think of buying this phone. If u r into sound and looks of F305, i would prefer W395, which is similar in looks and also in specifications to F305. Check out both and decide.

ADVANTAGES : gaming keys support landscape gaming (but only for a very few games), sound on speakers, looks to some extent. DISADVANTAGES : terribly small screen, repeats same alphabet during typing an sms, NO SUPPORT FOR THEMES, cannot play multiplayer games over bluetooth, games over 500kb not supported, application receiving via bluetooth not supported, swf walpapers not supported, motion sensor is fake (camera is used, does not work in dim light), google maps not supported... there are just too many more disadvantages.. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE...go for a similarly priced nokia (i am a die hard sony ericsson fan yet this crap phone disappoints me like anything)...

i am surely says sony ericsson phones are long better than nokia and others. but f305 is not at all having any merits of ericsson. i bought it just 3 months ago and now it is at service centre. it does not supports themes and its firmware is very bad. same time i have a k750i for last 3 years and working cool without any problems.

the thing about the phone is that its similar to the nintendo wii.I just went to the mobile store a few days ago and the people there said that this phone was made purely to resemble the wii but personally i'd say that its overall a good phone cause since its a sony ericsson, it has gud music and the camera has "photo fix" so you can adjust the brightness and contrast of the picture.So, if your turning 13 and want a phone with a gud camera and a gud music player,(with an added bonus of awesome games)DEFINATELY GO FOR THIS!!:)

(^_^) tips: free up your memory on your phone: move all the games or apps n other stuff like images or musics to the mem stick n to delete permanently all of the stuff is to format the mem stick, so you can have 16 mb free memory on your phone. n like hot swap slot on n-gage qd... maybe good to you to separate your contain of your mem stick, games on one mem stick, musics n other data on one separate mem stick. have a nice day... i dont know what wrong whith your guys.. i just get this phone for three days and nothing problems.. i just install many games and application . likes opera mini 4.2, ebuddy mobile messenger and many more and its works. even i have instal many java games that size have more than 500 kb. for example i install asphalt 3d street rules that are 1107 kb which is more than 1 mb and its run perfectly.. and the sound are quiet suberb compare to the another w sieries maybe its using stereo speaker. even i dont got any problem playing mp3 in any type of bitrate.. 128,192 kps? no problemm.. and for the themes, just downloaded to the pc and save in the file "other" in the m2 card and install from there.. the bad thing is we canot rotate or lanscape picture when viewing the picture and also no zooming. buts its ok for me. before this i using high end phone likes w960i,w910i, and g705.. i can accept the function of f305. if you are disapointed with the funtcion or what ever in this phone, then why just you buy the highend phone and stop complaining. from the model name, we surely know its a very low end phone f305.. if its model called f705 or f905 then your complaining surely can be acceptable.

Hi. I got the software upgrade done today for my new F305 at Cunningham road, Bangalore near sigma mall. The sound quality has improved a lot! On loudspeaker as well as headphones. If you can invest in better quality Sony ericsson headphones then I guess this should be a decent enough music device. Not tested this myself yet, but will be doing that within this month. Will post my observations then. Installed all dictionaries in my phone: oxford mini concise, business dictionary, medical dictionary and idioms dictionary. Also installed PDF viewer. Fully functional after that. Couldn't install the full version of oxford concise dictionary though. The phone gave error message " File too big to be installed". The file size was about 5MB. I bought this phone for 6.5k and i guess for this price it's the cheapest device with all the features. That's why i bought it. Camera is not the best among the 2 mega pixel camera phones available. But it's definitely a decent enough gaming phone as well as music phone. Cameraphillic folks should look at sony c510 because no other phone in this price bracket has good camera quality in any of the brands. You gotta spend around 10k to get a decent camera phone!!!

Its so cute & very attractive. 2) Dual Speakers & very high sound. 3) It Support all the Java Games and it also have motion games. 4) Good Battery Backup 5) Good Camera 6) High quality Screen. It is actually design for Games. Disadvantage 1) Sometime it will stuck 2) We cant download themes for this mobile 3) Record is only upto 30sec 4) Difficult to type Message. 5) Head Phone sound is very low (here you can use walkman series headphone) Sonyericsson F305 is overall a good mobile in this price. You all users dont know use of mobiles... Mobiles are not made for themes.. they are used for calling ... Sony ericsson f305 excellent phone.It has good dual speakers motion gaming.Upto 10,000 RS there are no phones which support motion gaming.. I think you all users should not think its drawbacks but to see its good features.. for your intrests themes for these phones will be released .... I dont know when but i am sure it will be... I saw opinions of one user that it doesnot support opera mini. but its false... i have se f305 and opera works well in my phone,,,,

i got this phone last week. the design & sound are excellent but nothing more. we can't install new theme but we can install other java games/apps easily. it support .jar files with larger than 500KB without a problem. most of the games that i install, working just fine. just make sure u use games with 176x220 screen size. the motion gaming is just a gimmick. i can't find any motion gaming anywhere except the built-in games. furthermore the (X) and (O) keypad is useless.. the battery life is quite low. usually will run out within 24 hours or less especially if u play games n music. the features are average. as i said, no themes supported, shortcut can only applied into directional key only, fonts is too big, and crappy keypad locked.

On Jan 1, I bought this phone and tried to return it within 3-4 hours only. Later somehow I managed to sell this phone for 7300 (actual price was Rs. 8200 then). I bought another phone and ever since have been happy that i could got rid of that phone early. though i incurred loss of almost 1000 rs, I feel relieved and liberated. This is by far the worst phone, I have seen or used. Best of luck to the new buyers.

Well of course this was(?)A problem that of too faced but i think it got ok after 3 days, i also called AIRTEl costumer care but they said this was problem with hand set . Actually this is problem with S302 only with AIRTEl as far as i know .. I guess u also are AIRTEl subscriber try to change SIM(of other company eg smart/idea) i dont think t will get problem if it continues then i cant help. Try to do this, most probably i m not facing problem In local id, do reception ON and deactivate The service..u will find this in message settings. I m sure there may be a bug in phone design, y dont u ask se costumer care?

Hi all, I have just bought this Sony Ericsson F305, 20 days back. I am facing a typical problem described below. Pls post your repsonse in case any one of you have faced similar issue or possible cause of this. In case if phone is ideal for nearly 7-8 hours at a stretch, after that if i give a call to the F305 from some other number, it says that the phone(means F305) is switched off. First, I thought it might be due to improper battery setup or sim card, so i corrected them. Even after that I am facing same prob. I have been observing this issue since last 10 days continously. I would appreciate, if some one who has faced this is able to rectify this prob, then pls let me know your response here. thanks

In Short A DASHING PHONE, WHEN IN UR HANDS CAN IMPRESS OTHERS BUT IS SURLEY GOING TO CREATE A SEEVRE HEADACHE FOR U!!! first of all while purchasing the phone remeber that it is not a true Sony Ericsson PHone..it is manufactured by another new company under liscensed by Sony Ericsson so you should not expect the features for which the sony ericsson is famous for!! PROBLEMS u can face while useing 1. NO SMILES!!! the sms doesnt support any type of standerd "smiles" 2.MOTION SESORS motion sensors are useless...boring and fazool...they simply dont work! 3. HANG mobile phone HAngs tooooo much. 4. Dilivery reports: u r not going to receive the delievry reports like u do in other sonys and nokia u are going to receive it in ur INBOX and it is quite irritating when ur msg space is tooooooooo limitied 5.No dictionaries: u cant install good dictionaries only very small dictionaries can be downloaded like "Sun MObile Dictionaries" 6.VIDEO AND AUDIOS: u may record video for more than 1hr but audio recording is of just 30 sec...!!! 7.THEMES: the dread ful SEGUM..the actual software of F305 doesnt suport any type of THEMES at all!!!! 8.MSG TONES: i dont know why but when u listen to a msg tune in the music section its quite loude but when u set tht particular tune as ur msg it decreases automatically and u cant hear the msg tune even one hand away from ur mobile phone!! ZOMING: u cant zoom in the mms u received! if u do u will find blurred pixels! i have purchased one in FEB 09,and still facing such problems althoug the problems are small ones but beleive me they are gona make u MAD! and one more thing m fail to acess internet and gprs...the company sent settings for the thousand times if u accept phone updates automatically but it doesnt make any difference!!! u all are requested to think a million times before purchasing such a hectic handset m not at all happy!!

Just for ur info F305 user, now u can play games more than 512byte. what u must do is hack or costumize ur jar file from MIDP-2.0 to MIDP-1.0 at META INF. with that u can instal more than 512kb. many thanks for thatyml

yeah of course you can give it a second thought, i dont know whether in new handsets freezing problem is fixed,,, good headsets will cost you additional 1000 rupees, moreover this phone actually doesnot have the features for which it should be cost so high, many features provided by other SE phones in the same range are absent, i, after 3 and half months got a hardware problem, headphone jack has become loose, well thats not a prob i think because it will be fixed by SE service center,,anyways frankly to tell i m not satisfied with the phone especially with lack of value for money, u dont get anything really special other that that motion gaming, the only joy for me is its navigation buttons(not joystick), stereo speakers nice, good looks but really BAD FEATURES, anyways u can go for it if u a not heavy uiser of any facility

this phone was partially made by Sagem so it has limit(512KB) for installing games I think SE company shouldn't put Sagem system in phones even thought it's low range phone. Only SE phones to have this platform for now are W205 and this one.

Guys, I don't know how you could find this phone bad. I bought this phone on Sunday after rejecting some Nokia models! I found this phone really cool. Advantages: 1) OS is fast, i.e., one get's an intended response in less than a second. For my standards, it's fast. 2) The themes are good, i like them. 3) Games are pretty good, specially the 3-D bowling. Motion sensing makes is a cool value prop. 4) The screen size is also good, letters are very much visible. 5) The looks are cool too. Hope it helps future buyers, and for your information, i am no marketing person, i speak what i felt.......subjective ofcourse :-)

I have this phone 5 month, and i send for tecnical assitande 3 times. Good�s things: a) - Good speaker stereo em clear and average loud; b) - MP3 player play folders - good! Not like nokias; c) - same games you can play with motion system; d) - The 2 M pixel camera is good, better than nokias; e) - Function ok with 4 G card; f)- Widenig system for MP3 player is good. Bad�s things: a) - This phone is very delicated body; b) - The battery playing MP3 don�t is good; c) - The games greather than 512k can be not function; d) - The system and cpu is slow; e) - Even times the phone need reset (I don�t know why); f) - The keypad is bad quality; g) - The time do press key is very longer, don�t same nokias. Sorry, I know it was a year ago, but I need to reply to this comment. I wanted a unique phone because EVERYONE I know seems to have either a Samsung E250, J700 or U600. It's so boring when every phone in sight is the same. I saw this one and thought "That was probably co-produced with Nintendo because it's almost exactly like the concept of the Wii". Obviously there's no IBM broadway chip etc. but it looks like a real good phone. Even comes with Style-Up covers. High end users may prefer something a little more advanced, so don't bash the phone if it isn't in your category. After all, the phone market wasn't built entirely around you! Cya BTW Anon. POOR QUALITY....:( 7. U cannot install themes(ok if cant then also it is not very big matter) 8.Does this suppor WMA format??? crap i tried evrty sample rate it do not support it(do not know of wav), similr is with many files of mp4 format. 9.GPRS -yet another crap performnce if u want gud downloding speed ,or surfing speed many nokia phones in this range provide far....much guud speed in internet, my phone crashed 4 times when i was downloding jar file from the net.!!! crashing creats 16.047 mb of dump......txt.bis file,, there were 11 files like that in my phone 2 days earlier only!!! gprs performance is not at all good, much cheaper nokia phone give beeter speed 10.CAMERA : any one with little fond of taking pictures will b highly dissappointed..the camera is LIKE INSULT TO THE TERM ''2 MEGAPIXLE'' very very bad, u cnnot zoojm in mp mode, u cannot record video in megapixle mode... little zoom is availble in vga mode photogrphy only 11.most of the softwares r not supported by the phone 12. processing speed not the best 13. cnnot rotate the image (if we want to edit image!!0 a basic need) 14.cnnot send files via bluetooth which is not supported by phone(like pdf, doc , rm or any other) 15. a bloody crap is tha u can mke a voice recording only for 30 secs no provision of extending it n listening it at that time only(u hve to go to music folder for it) 16.browser saves web pages in .ted format which cnnot be renamed!! HELL!!!!!(because even two different webpages can have a same name) DOWNLOADING THROGH MOBILE IS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, U CANNOT EVEN DOWNLOAD MP3 SONG THROUGH DEFAULT BROWSER(thanx to operamini) 17.java internet setting have to be manually entered they annot b imported from internet profiles in internet settings. 18.my phone has crashed 16 times till now!! in this context i was hppy with my k300i 19. no usb cabel i hve lost faith in SE, it will b little difficult for me to refer SE to any one from now, because also of BLOODY CONSUMER CARE SUPPORT. but still phone is not all abt lacking features there r a few VERY VERY gud things too, but this isnt a cooool phone this is a dissapointment i m not enjoying to write these things about my handset, its pain[:(], dont take it otherwise but i m true upto my knowledge... 20.when music is being played in the back ground, after sometime smoothness of operation is gone!!, phone becomes little slow! same is the case when its RAM memory has 900kb approx. free. there was a very very important point left in the review 21.THE PHONE CANNOT BE USED AS A MODEM!!!! i.e. u cannot connect to internet in ur pc through mobile because F305 DO NOT SUPPORT THIS FUNCTIONALITY....!!!![:O][:x] I cant believe my eyes but this is what i read this saturday!! U have no PC Suite for it,. so u cannot connect to internet via USB, n when we try it using bluetooth modem it gives error 777. i cannot believe this... in my dreams too i could not have thought of a phone so ILL-FUNCTIONAL in this price range!! What a crap not even a modem!! no no not expected from SE, its a nightmare... it would have been really great, if there were 2 or 3 more such basic feature expected, to be ABSENT IN THE PHONE, developers might have been seeing for some more features from which phone can be deprived off[:x][:x] now i m running out of my brains, so large pitfalls n every one over the net is praising the handset!!!![:(][:O][:(] that is very gud if camera is working fine or u r satisfied with the quality of images captured but actually most of the snaps taken by me are looking as if i have taken from a vga camera(they r 2 MP photos), photos r fine(?) only in BRIGHT SUNSHINE and no where else, there is no night mode n quality of pictures in dim light is CRAPP!!!,quality of video recording is bad u cannot pause recording too(can be considered because it is not the only handset with such type of video recording). something gud about the phone- -MOTION GAMING -superb design, cool looks -soft keys -dedicated gaming buttons(which works with only a few games came along with the handset) -SE software interface(looks which many says SE hadnt change anything) -Inbulit loudspeakes(dual stereo speakers) -4 GB expandable memory -U can choose video as a wallpaper(like windows vista), although this is also present in s302 -u can even select video as a ringtone, so whenever there is a call, video with sound is dispayed as a small thumbnail! thats nice -ability to save voice tasks(not a unique thing) -176x220 screen size is an advantage because largest number of games are available for this screen size as far as other highly non recommended handset is which is newly launched------ S302, now again i dont want to write a similar review for it, it is the BEST CRAP AVAILABLE for Rs.6500/-, functionality is null, only gud part is the camera which is better than F305. What the hell SE is doing?? I became a die hard SE fan after using n seeing phones like k300i, k310, k550, w300 etc, z550 was also gud....But this time i trusted SE and rest u know abt the phone I WILL NEVER TRY SE PHONE AGAIN UNLESS UNTILL ANY OF MY FRIENDS HAVE IT/ RECOMMEND IT. ALSO THE INTERNET, I WILL NOT TRUST REVIEWS AS THEY R FOR F305 HAVING SUCH LARGE LOOP HOLES AND PEOPLE SELDOMLY MENTIONING IT!! well, i just bort one (dont know how to spell bort). it's a good fone. comes with like 12 games and you can intall like 40 others for free. the camera is good.the battery would only last for 2-4 if playing games. i am very happy with my buy.

advantages : its stylish,its sound quality is loud and sterio, its camera is like 1.5 megapixel, it contain 11 games and leaving 2 or 3 , its everage prize is RS 7850/-, it have good battery time, good sms facility. disadvantage : you will not get data cable and cd with the this fone, you may have problem withs its sliding character, internet facility is pooor but speed is good, themes are less,its body is little bit sensetive which means it may broke easily by one drop, overall is 7/10 rating.

This phone sucks like hell Worst battery backup, Internal memory is too low, It does not support any themes, Its not a multi-tasking phone, Headphones sucks, Takes 2^1/2 hrs for complete charging, Doesn't have a basic feature of notes, Message settings options and blue tooth menu options are quite less as compared to other SE handsets. In short this phone has minimum features as compared to other SE handsets. Paying 8000INR is not worth...Just a waste of money. Don't ever buy this phone if you want to regret it later.

Pros: - decent battery life - sound is loud - music and ringtones are loud so you shouldn't miss calls Cons: - plasticky feel - voice clarity is not as sharp as expected - limited themes: does not accept another theme even if sent via Bluetooth - no USB data cable supplied in the box. You'll need to purchase this separately. Overall, this sliding action is smooth and the screen does not attract fingerprints too much. Was a bit disappointed that the camera was only 2 megapixels, with no flash.

I bought this phone just cause its a sony and though it was good. It is absolutely crap. It took me 6 years(felt like it) just to load mxit onto it, thats just to install(which kept freezing the phone until i tried an older version which worked! to my amusement!) Then to try find java settings(Felt like I was Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible!) was a mission, which I eventually figured out after Vodacom couldn't help me. So now im sorted with mxit or so i thought! It won't let me add contacts and decides at will to freeze when im chatting or just happily disconnects itself from the connection much to my frustration! The keypad is super toss! Its to flat and no feel to it, feels like im typing on my desk, it makes you think your typing but your not! The phone will also decide on will to freeze and reboot (i know phones do this but not every day!) Also when sending texts, I will click continue to send, it will say sending but won't send AT ALL, and its not once or twice I have to resend its sometimes upto 3/4 times! I really don't know what Sony has done, have they outsourced there cheaper phones to a crappy phone maker and just re badged it and changed the UI? Cause this phone is super kak. I will in the next two months be upgrading but not to a sony but to Samsung, as their low range phones are of much better quality. Sorry Sony, but if your low range phones are this crap, how kak must your high range phones be? The C905 doesn't even come near the Innov8 in terms of stats and overall look and feel. On a scale of 1 - 10, I'd give a good 1!

Thnx for providing information about the set. I would like to say that SE phones are expensive as compare to Nokia, Samsung and Moto. I think Samsung phones are good like Camera, Sound, Security options you can create password on images, vedios etc Battery life is also good. if v talk about nokia, Poor camera quality, sound quality and screen resulution quality.

just go to the site of mxit from your handset, phone will be detected as f305.click the link that asks u to install mxit elite, now u will be asked if u want to download it, its 159 kb file, now u have to choose in which folder u want to install it..choose one, download will begin, after completing download, finish the installatin i have done it a few hours ago only n it is working fine..if u havent still configured java internet settings u have to do so... hope it helps

hi guys, I bought this phone 2 weeks before. Music player is good and the games are nice, but its dead slow to handle. And i'm tired of searching the exact pc suite for this in internet, and still i couldn't find it in Ericsson official website itself. Its totally waste in buying this, i'm am gonna threw this set if i couldn't find the pc suite in forth coming week. So guys if you have the idea of buying this mobile only for games means sure you can go head, if not na just forget about it. I think you should just try getting a replacement - or read the instructions properly. This phone does work as a modem, so maybe you are just judging the phone prematurely, or your region doesn't support data transfer via GPRS. I personally don't have problems with this phone - I bought it because it does what I want it to do (camera, games, phone, music). Also, not too sure what you are on about with the app limit - you can stuff them into a memory card (I am using a 4GB which works seamlessly). I have about 40MB worth of apps on the memory card, and it reads them without a lag or problems. Try reading the instructions and not the box to find out how the phone works.

A very interesting thing � u can send files of jar format via blue tooth but u cannot receive them(what a nonsense??) because �item is not supported� what kind of sense this make? Once u have pressed button send message it cannot be cancelled!! (we r not playing archery- once arrow went out of bow cannot be cancelled�.MY GOD!!) Irritating delivery reports Crap gprs performance�.what the hell for EDGE in handset useful?? actually there is option for downloading it for f305 in the site but the file being downloaded is in jad format,, and jad is not supported by phone i suppose... but if u get .jar version which is getting installed in your phone then just u have to adjust java internet setting of f305

Usb is there, Driver for usb is also available now in se official website Go to setting section of phone, then connectivity tab,go to 'usb' ensure mass storage mode is selected

It sounds funny but it is a fact that U can only send jar file to other mobile but cant receive them because 'item not supported' , but u can send jar files from bluetooth enabled pc ie pc bluetooth, also u can send it via usb

I just brought this phone. . . and now i am having this feeling that why the hell did i buy it? Man it doesn't support any jar files (GAMES + SOFTWARES) It has no theme support. . no matter it has good Speakers. . . but still i think it's not worth the money. .Yeah sure it's a gaming phone. . but the battery bckup is hardly of 1 to 1+1/2 days. i have approximately tried to recieve about 50 jar files all which work perfectly on other SE phones but they are not accepted by this phone at all. . If i am wrong please post a answer on this site and i wud be happier to knw that this piece is having some potential

This is a stylish fone but it hangs tooo much.It doesn't have zoom option in camera mode.Good for games only.If u r happy with a slow processor of the phone,then what r u waiting friend, just buy it! But still i wil say it don't deserves to b price this much high.I have purchased the phone and facing multiple issues with the phone. Issue with network, MP3 player.its battery doesn't last long. I"ll say that its an EXPENSIVE DEAL!

Yeah sure! U can also refer to SE support in the official website of SE. Of course there is an option of 'phone mode' when phone is connected via usb cable, but phn doesnt work in this mode. With bluetooth too connctn didnt get established

well, this is a good phone...built in motion games which is one of its unique feature and it is really good gaming phone....even the sound quality is also very good...quite loud. it comes with 2MP which is decent camera quality....and rest everything is fine...EDGE speed is quite fast...

It's a great phone for its price. It plays music and videos, 2MP camera makes good quality pictures, although the video quality is low. It has two dynamics and plays music very, very loud. The only considerable con I found is that it hangs from time to time when someone calls you on the second line. (Call waiting), which can be disabled. I got mine with all the cables, including the data cable, and had no trouble installing additional games and applications (Tax calculators, graphing calculators). The total price was 135$, very cheap for what it offers. I suggest you buy it if you are fine with seldom freezes when using call waiting. You won't be disappointed.

I've read alot of comments and alot of it seems negative. I was interested in getting the phone for what it says "GAMING PHONE" i'm not interested in the other features.
