XIAOMI Service is worst. You will love XIAOMI phones until you visit their service centres. They will never provide good service. If your phone is on warranty then they start searching for the ways to tell you that this is customer induced problem even if there is nothing. Don't never go for Extended WARRANTY because service centre guys will always tell u that this is happened due to customer induced problem. IF not on warranty then they will repair easily because customer has to pay but if under warranty then they can give any reason. There is no other proper way of complaint at XIOMI's website because if you mail them, they will always tell that service centre guys will not misguide you. Moreover, Service centres do not accept online card payments. They always insist you for CASH or paytm.

Worst service provided by Xiaomi. There is list of problems I am facing in redmi note 6 pro. Everytime I complaint the service centre never agree with the same. Later on when I provide them the screen shot than they say they will check and revert. And that revert takes a lot of time. And finally they say this part can't be corrected under warranty. I brought Redmi Note 6 Pro .. I like this product too much.. Its gives much better performance in my own experience. but i didn't like one of the feature ,that is there is an option in message settings ,that show blocked messages. Why that option there. We are blocking some numbers because of the irritation of that contact.We didn't like to see any messages from that number. This phone blocks that number and gives us to an option to see those messages. I my experience i didn't like that. So plz remove that settings option. It is an Humble request.

I have also change new JioSim but not show Volte. then I go to MI service center, they again told mi that falt in SIM card. Now can I do?

I affirm most of the feedback received for After-sale process of Redmi. I bought Mi Note 5 Pro from redmi website. I received the product the next day. I should commend that. But there was issue with back camera and I raised a ticket for that. I had to send the screenshot of the failed notification from the kernel test which I did the same day of the delivery. I asked them to expedite the process as I had to gift it to someone. But it was of no use. After checkup, they sent for reverse pickup. Then I came to know that it will reach the Redmi warehouse in 5-6 days, they will perform quality check and then dispatch the product. Easily I was looking at a time-span of 10-15 days. Left aside gifting, I realized that I would not be available at my home for delivery in that long time-span. I requested them to change the address because of the aforementioned concern. They mentioned that address cannot be changed. Then I asked for refund. This was too against policy. Now I am at a juncture, wherein: The purpose of gifting is destroyed, as the Birthday would pass by, hence have to buy a new gift I would not be able to receive the product as I won't be available at the place for the next 2 months, and they cannot change the address I cannot get the refund, as this too is against policy Really these people have pathetic policies.... I would not comment on the quality of the products as have not used it. But because of something which was error from their end, the end-customer has to suffer. If you still plan to buy Xiomi product, buy ONLY from ecommerce websites like Amazon, Flipkart (I am not sure whether their policies will be effective there too but atleast ecommerce processes will be better) and not from their website.

Worst after sale service, I purchased a Redmi 4 mobile online in November 2017 it's was heating from the beginning, so I got small burnt patch in the 1st month after purchase. But there was a lot data and my business use with mobile I could not go to get it repaired. But in March when the patch became bigger and touch began to hang on click. I got it repaired from service Centre in April. The changed the display and touch. But not the board which was still heating. Because of which it again got the burnt mark on screen in July, but I kept using it because the service center deleted all my data last time. But in October I thought I must get it repaired before the warranty expire. This tie the screen was burnt in side but touch was working often. So the said it won't be repaired under warrant u pay Rs. 2700 for it. I am not going to buy mi mobile in future and never going to recommend anyone to buy MI. With the worst after sale service Nokia also lost its name. And no company can survive without after sale service. 3rd class device, service, and company Any one who is going to buy Redmi mobile or any other mi device then be ready to move 3-4 times to their service centre under warranty period

I have the same problem. Easy solution: go to settings, additional settings, turn on quick ball, configure one of the buttons to "long press power button" You can also replicate the 3 capacitive buttons in quick ball if they fail. Very handy feature.

Example: opening Google calendar takes forever, the events and reminders never populate as they normally do in other redmi phones. User has to wait endlessly and has to keep tweak data enabling, shutting down app and shutting down mobile still no assurance whether it comes back normal. Mobile charging errors: It randomly shows not charging or annoying beeps of charging-not-charging at any time. Sometimes I plug it in for charging at night and in the morning it shows same charge as was found lastnight (no progress), extremely unreliable charging problems. GPS problem everyday: GPS never ever works fine, it gets disturbed for reasons I don't know about and everytime Google maps is to be used, it has to be calibrated. I have stopped using maps now because i have end up going to wrong places due to wrong directions by maps. I have earlier used Redmi Note, it was just fine performance wise but this Mi4 is total waste of money. I will never buy or recommend Xiomi to anyone

Suddenly I found no Network . on contacting RedMi service center. They say fungus has formed inside. So they cant cover warranty. Everything working properly except network Issue. As soon as u buy mobiles, You need to do system update. This is mandatory for mi and redmi phones. If not done it starts heating often. Go to settings, about phone information in last blog. You will get phone details about ram and processors in that go to last blog. Click system updates. It takes max 1 Hr. So, there should be no cut in net and also battery power. Mobile will switch off and on several times but don't worry it's the updating process .

I have Xiaomi Redmi Note for 4 years. It still works perfectly. Only "problem" that I had is with software, which I upgraded to Android 4.4.2 and MIUI 8 and now everything works super. In 4 years my Xiaomi was dropped and fall for 100 times and I've had never any issues. Screen is still good. With customer service I have good experience. My Mi account was locked and they unlocked account in a few days. So, I'am really happy with this phone and Xiaomi company if we looked things realistically. In 2013 for less then 200€ this was good phone. Next phone will be for sure Xiaomi.

mi team.. I had visited mi service centre as i had problem with my mi account - i had lost my password. On submiting my phone i told the mobile engineer the issue he told he will reset my account will take 30mins for that. When he came back he told me that he has reset my entire phone system due to which ky phone has now lost my imei number. Anf after loosing my imei number this engineer says he will have to replace yhe mother board and that is the only possible way to get the imei back. The cost of a brand new phone is 8500 inr and replacing mother board will cost me 5300 inr according ti service centre. After wasting my time for almost a month with visits to mi service centres and writing mails to online assistance to mi team i am not provided with any help from your team just pushing the blame on one another... Online team says to get the Service report from service centre. Now i got my phone imei problem fixed from a local mobile repair shop and i had paid only 300/- for this.... According to mi service centre team my phone needed a motherboard replacement that will cost me 5200/-. Mi team is so pathetic and so unprofessional just to make money you people have started cheating.. Im sure if i would have givn my phone at service centre for mother board replacement you guys would just fix the software and lie to clients saying u replaced the board. The most pathetic unprofessional useless cheap fraud crooks are running this company. Shame on mi service team... Shame on mi brand... Shameless people. Hopeless product and worst customer care I had ever experienced. Memory card is not recognised and there us no service centre in Trivandrum,the State capital of Kerala.The product is brand new and problem observed right from the beginning.When contacted their customer care after a week of purchase it was told to register in their pick up facility and have to pay Rs 190 towards logistic charges and it will take 15 days. For their own lapse and fault why we should suffer ? While showing the set at another service centre in kerala it was told that defective part us not available and itwill take 2 months to get it.Horrible snd terrific.Dont ever buy Xiomu

Same with me. Within 20 days of using the phone, the phone just got dead. During 20 days of usage, 3-4 instances occured where phone got switched off automatically. But after 20 days, it just went dead. If one visits MI service centres, he will realise asto how many people are facing such issues. Service centre claims motherboad issues. Motherboard is the heart of a phone and MI compramised on that very important front itself. Whats the use of compelling specifications where a brand new phone dies within a month coz of a faulty motherboard. MI should recall all phones with faulty motherboards and repair them.This phone is the worst possible marketing for an make in india product.

I've been using this phone for around 1.5 years(?) I bought it after two months of its release date and I can say that I am satisfied with Redmi Note. It has a fast performance. If there is a problem with any app or system app, I can just report the situation and my phone kind of vibrate and the problem is solved already. The best thing I like is the frequent update of miui. It always solve the current problem. All i need to do is just to report it and then the next update will be more faster than usual.

While in working condition its a very good phone. But the main problem is with the OS, Frequently hanging, to use the phone at that time I need to remove the battery and restart. till now i have removed my battery for more than 50 times. The service center response also worst. the only solution at the service center for any problem is either OS upgrade or Mother Board replacement which is leading to other issues.

Good phone to use in overall. But it would be better to have a better camera. The 8GB flash memory is really not enough for most phone users considering how many apps we need to download in our phone to simplify our daily life. Would be awesome if Xiaomi actually manufactured this phone with a bigger flash memory. 2GB ram is a bit less because the phone will get laggy and what not when I tried to run a few apps at once. The price of the phone is obviously one of its main attractiveness.

HI, I bought REDMI NOTE July 2014 & it don't work any more now (JAN 2016). A few problems of this phone : 1 The body has no metal structure, I put it on my jean's pocket and bented very easily, screen was not destroy but TOO SOFT 2. Screen has got so many dead spots, I had huge zone like 1000 dead spots after 1 yr use in a middle of screen. 3. 3 bottons the bottum zone has bad LED light connections and turned off very often. It's caused by soft body & bad connection inside PCB plate in the middle. 4. After screen freezed once & tried to restart but, it's never turned on again. Battries and charger etc, was all perfect,,, except phone. I don't buy any more Xiaomi phone. I had a good time with this phone but life was too short & not enough solid.

i have been using this phone for almost a year. under normal use battery serves almost a week. Back camera takes clear pictures, while front camera is good too. Screen resolution could have been better. Also a larger internal storage will help. The phone is responsive and good web browsing owing to the 5.5inch display. Very good value for money.

First of all you cannot delete the default system if your phone is not a rooted phone, and yes if you want to get the default browser back you can update the OS by going to settings-about phone-system update-check for updates-download-install and reboot you will have a new updated OS with the default browser. That is the easy way. second way is to download the entire ROM from MIUI website and install the ROM. PS: please take a back up of your files before you attempt to do that, as it may wipe all the user data during the installation.

I like the phone overall But I have one critical problem with this phone, every time i reboot my phone all my contact in my message will be missing a few digit infront. I had purchased a redmi note in the month of December 2014..it was workin quite well but after a few months, it had problems like flickering of the screen, pause before moving to the next app, but the biggest set back was it simply stopped charging with the dedicated charger provided. The phone was shown to the xiaomi center at andheri east.. they promised to change the IC ( Mother Board) as the phone was still on warranty period. But alas, it was shocking to hear that, they demanded pay service and compoment replacement for Rs. 5999/- . When asked why they are insisting on payment even if they the phone had a warrant of a year. they provided vague & false statements that the engineers found moisture inside the phone. This is ridiculous.. why buy a chinese made phone if it is only meant for CHINA..OBVIOUSLY COASTAL Cities like Mumbai, Chennai , Manglore, would be susectible to Humidity and Moisture. Xiaomi why not copy from Sony to make a New Phone which is Water proof, Shock Proof and Dust Proof. If you care enough for your customers, pls do a recall and replace the issue free of cost as they were many customers who were rejected warranty service just by giving them reasons of Moisture Found. Sad but this is the true story..

Use the file explorer button press it you will see sd card press again you will see internal memory tick the item and move to sd card . You cannot move applications like games. Just music videos and photos from the internal memory to the sd card.

I have been using this phone (1.7gHz 2gb RAM version) for almost a year (bought it on August 2014), I never had any problem until now even it fell on the tar road once causing it to have scratches on the edges and cracked tempered glass (without it, my original phone screen is rip) as well as unlimited fell off a bed lol. ONLY ONE THING that has been bugging me. PLEASE LET US ENJOY AT LEAST KITKAT OFFICIAL ROM. Yeah I know there are devs out there who have published their roms but we want it to be OFFICIAL. The biggest problem with Redmi Note 3G is the insufficient space. Even thou it has sd card expandability, the system/rom does not allow or have settings to move or install apps in to the sd card. Is there a work around solution around this problem?

You could try to backup or copy everything on the card on a PC, then format the card in the Xiaomi phone and copy everything that is important back from the PC to the card. Some cards "like" to be formated on the device that you will use it in. Hope it will work! Good luck!

This is a good phone. I have been using it for 2 months. Everything are good and the price is just right. I would commend a few little things on the phone. first, the email do not take exchange account and its calendar do not sync with other email client. second, its camera screen is stuck from time to time due to cpu slowness. Other than these , it is a great phone at this price point. i am excited a phone is so affordable now. I also tried a Elephone G7, it broke after two days of use. such a crappy product. After plugging in the USB connector, the Win 7 automatically installed device drivers and the Redmi Note 3G showed up as HM Note 1W in Windows with Phone Memory and SD Card Memory showing under it. Frist of all.. I must let u know tht in redmi note 3g both the sim get connected to data service... Sim 1 obviously get connected to 3g and Sim 2 get connected to 2g service... Go to Data connection setting and you will have the option to choose the data service you desire... Secondly.... As soon u connect the redmi note 3g to laptop.. It automatically detect the phone and SD Card Memory separetly. And both the Memory shown in the laptop.. U can easily have the backup... And offcourse you will find that there is a option for usb drive as soon you connect your set with laptop.... I m using my Redmi Note 3g since last one n half months and not finding such problems as u describe.. Wish u luck...

I was using Gionee G3 and was able to connect with SIM-1 to 3G & 2G and with SIM-2 to 2G without any issue. I moved to RedMi Note 3G Dual SIM and transferred my two SIMs to it from my Gionee. I found Redmi Note allows data connection only on SIM-1. SIM-2 doesnot allow any data connection. Other users of Redmi Note 3G have the same issue, that is data connection is only allowed on SIM-1 ??? The other issue is non availability of USB driver for this phone for connecting to my Laptop. It is a big problem sinceI like to keep backups of all my SMS, Contacts and Pictures on my Laptop. Since Redmi Note 3G is not allowing USB connection, I am forced to open the phone, remove the micro SD card and read from it to do any backups on my laptop. My external memory gets blank sometimes. I mean to day that sometimes the phone unables to show the external memory data... Like if I m playing movie... Try to drian the battery fully. Then Connect charger don't switch on the phone till battery is full. Switch on the phone and check. I did it working fine now.

Hi, I have bought Redmi Note 4G phone. I have read reviews that battery life is very good but I face lots of problems. If I play even Candy Crush, arnd 15-20% of battery goes down i.e. only 5 times. I checked by not using wifi/data on a day, evn then on playing games like candy crush, soda saga, battery goes down heavily. I previously was using Lumia 520 and even though I dint have these games I play other games like Subway Surfer, Temple Run2 and dint face this much battery problem. That too my wifi was always used to be on. Pls suggest me is there any problem with phone settings or do i need to replace phone? Pls suggest. Waiting.
