Apple Watch Series 3 Aluminum - User Reviews

  • What this watch can do without connecting it at an Iphone??

  • Ordered this for $229 on Amazon. I wanted S3 Frontier badly but Apple restrictions made me think otherwise

  • personally speaking I love my AW s3 it does everything I've needed it to. being able to go to the gym and not take my phone and still be able to call and pay for things is amazing. only downside is it wont call if the phone is turned off

  • This is a great device specially for fitness tracking.

  • There's no insert for a SIM card, you just set it up with your provider from the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.

  • Motorola is dead since it's been overtaken by Lenovo, sorry that I have to say that

  • Ditch your phone at home. Go out with your watch. Why should i get a brand new iPhone X/8? When my watch can voice, text and music, i just get a cheapo secondhand iPhone, put at home. Done. When i need my dose of apps. Bring along iPad / Mac. But this raise some important problems: 1. What if its roaming? 2. What if a joker keep spamming my number and use up my data? Its an ideal watch for a ideal scenario. But.. most normal people will just not get a watch, and carry a phone as normal. FB addicts / social text maniacs will reject fiercely to this suggestion.. because these people cannot survive a single second without a phone.

  • Do we know what cellular chipset does this watch use?

  • The best and only major reason for me is to be able to go out without the phone. This is why I need cellular. Other things you mentioned is not relevant for me, since watch is already perfectly connected with the phone.

  • Now i dont know if i want cellular in my AW3, im not hysterical about being constantly available for text/iMessage and calls and the added cost is significant. I can have some offline playlists and the GPS data is saved and later synced to the iphone with both models. Any other reasons to get cellular version?

  • And yet here you are in AW s3 page. I think someone wasnt happy to hear that apple watch has the highest consumer satisfaction of any gadget ever. Im on my second apple watch and i know very well why it has so high satisfaction, now we have to wonder why moto 360 hasnt fared all that well. Could it have something to do with no apps, will not work with your local bank or airline or train/bus company and cant be used to pay in the local grocery store? You know, those things apple watch users take for granted, even some small rural banks support AW for basic stuff like balance and latest transactions while android wear isnt even supported by big national banks. It has been clear since the original AW that it is the best, now it has increased its lead once again, this time with a giant leap for watchkind. Of course people can have their opinions but you would have to ignore a lot of facts to deny the AW superiority, like sales, satisfaction, usability, app availability (orders of magnitude ahead) and so on. Design is the only subjective factor here.

  • All compatible apple products use only Apple e-sim.

  • Which eSIM technology is used ? GSMA's standard eSIM or Apple's eSIM ?

  • Moto 360 sports better
