  • Served me pretty well since May 2015; battery lasts over 1 day on a single charge for regular usage. The main downsize is the OS, which makes many features of the phone useless as they're not supported by the older Android versions. Huawei better come up with Android 6.0 update soon and enable SDKs for fingerprint auth., etc.

  • I have purchased note 2, 3 and 4 (three times) the fed up with battery. I was lookig for heavy usage battery mobile phone with moderate camera and big screen. After checkig the mate 7 in my friends hand . I was quite satisfied and now I have purchased this phone. This phone is really awesome, call recording, best pictures same like note 4 for selfie and huge battery. for me its running around I day and 17 hours with 20 % remaining and then I put it for charge. No problem to let th apps run in the background and check Facebook and whats app quite often. Gps working great with less battery drop. I don't know the durability but with reviews of mate forum it is running quite well. If it works good in long run i will never go back to Samsung. As Samsung is doing the same as of Nokia and not caring the requirement of Customers.

  • Hello... my hua mate, my phone still showing along huawei logo animation and cant open the phone..phone is getting heat and battery down to low because cant switch off the phone..now it s offed low battery showing red light.. i downloaded some font apk app and then after happened this..now i cant do anything its saying phone is locked state and fail,,no update file cant format..what happen to internal android OS...its deleted or destroyed??? i don't know.. i try reset factory option several times but still running animation logo..i think this my fault because that bad font app downloaded..i try everything but cant do anything..once i rooted my phone,now all deleted formatted, have 2 years warranty until this November...can phone service man find about my root and fault..can they will cancel my warranty??? pl help me to fix my phone by my own hand...can i fix this fault in phone,boot option or my computer,or any method pl....tell me immediately sorry english... thanks...

  • This is a good phone I am satisfied with its good camera, clear audio sound, finger print security sensor, its octa core how fast it is using the net, its 4100mA battery lasting 10 hours in surfing the net, watching movies, calls, messaging, using fb, etc.

  • If you're from the Philippines, the Monarch version only has 32GB storage instead of 64GB. I was really hoping to get the 64GB here...:( the 32GB Monarch version is still very nice and very smooth (after playing around with it at the SM Megamall Cyberzone). Priced at roughly 28k pesos...i would have really wished it had the 64GB version (for the same price). :)

  • hey bud, both SIM SLOT are 4G BUT you've the option only to choose one of the SIM SLOT to work as 4G, while the other one will be directly switched to 2G .. I hope now you got a clear point of what makes you confuse.

I've been following the comments about this product in this page from last December.Various negative issues are arised but luckily I didn't face any problem with this product. a) I'm using 3G sim in microsim slot & its giving the fastest 3G experience. b)Facebook is smooth without any crashing. c) I'm using Ridmik Bangla Software without any bug. d) Battery performance is highly satisfied.I'm 24 hours on-net & after 32 hours battery remains 30% alive. e) RAM performance is also highly appreciatable,the set is very very fast in all aspects. f) Fingerprint Sensor is awesome.For me it's never missed even for a single prick

  • The telephone is super. Battery is nice but you always want more ;-) The only issue I have faced is a sound in earphones. I have not tried the original headsets yet but was trying to use my big 4tech HS-100. Put all sounds on maximum but the sound is just low :-(. Then I plugged in them to my old Samsung S3 and damn! that was a big difference. Is there a way how to increase sound more? Maybe in some hackery way? The sound from phone speakers is oky thought.

  • No, The Micro Sim (Slot1) is for 2G/3G/4G & the nano SIM (Slot2) is for 2G only, where as its mentioned to select the 4G slot also which is confusing cuz when its decided that micro SIM card is only for 4G then y to select 4G Slot ? Default Data Service and Default Call/Messages Slot option is understandable

I am not so convinced about Huawei smartphones as many are claiming that these are "Chinese Phones" and spare parts are not as durable as the known brands. But I am a fan of a big-screen smartphones. Hence, Huawei Ascend Mate 7 has become one of my choices for this year 2015. I guess this is also a nice smartphone.
