LG Optimus Q LU2300 - User Reviews

  • people, people. Tracfone, owns both Google search to find that out.

  • Just maybe if everyone was as smart as you regarding the names of the phone and companies, there would be no need for anyone to write in. Instead of being so cruel with your answer, just leave well enough alone and don't send a message.

  • No actually its tracfone but nice try to make yourself sound smart

  • Thank you. I am so tired of people thinking these company's are the same. So many people post phones for a company they think it is through, Straight Talk and it is actually a Net 10 phone. I wish people would get this straight.

  • You people ever think that maybe you are going through the wrong company, this phone is for Net 10, not straight talk. They may be similar but if your going to buy a Net 10 phone you don't deal with straight talk, you go through Net 10.

  • Purchased the LG Optimus Q from Straight Talk to replace another LG that wouldn't take nor make calls in an area I'd moved to. I moved again (17 miles away) and now find myself looking for another phone because the Q won't work in the area I moved to. The carrier is Sprint and, though every site I've looked at says the Q will work where I'm at, the Sprint coverage map shows the area I'm in has no coverage other than roaming, which Sprint does not do (neither Sprint nor Verizon offer any roaming capability). Straight Talk's customer service is reprehensible. I contacted them numerous times trying to get a handle on the no-calls problem and only one in fifty contacts with them landed me a CSR who admitted that I had no service coverage in that area, and that was confirmed by the rep. All of the other reps tried to tell me they needed to access the phone via their remote services to "troubleshoot the phone" and I would need to "get on my other phone" to call them to allow this process to occur. I have no other phone. When I told them that (about 400 times), the fool accused me of being uncooperative. The phone is still inoperative at my location. So, I'm going back to Verizon whose coverage area is significantly better and similar services are actually less in cost. Straight Talk? Never again!!!

  • 9iI usually don't have many apps running, but my phone is getting a little hotter then normal. Sometimes I put it on airplane mode and it cools down. When I first got this phone it was fine, but after a few months the battery tends to get a little to hot, 121° Fahrenheit. Is it normal for my phone to be at this temp?

  • Straight Talk service had a great deal on the LG Optimus Q - only about $30 off the Smart Talk site. Have had it for 3 months now and like it a lot. Gets good reception in Austin, TX - even inside office buildings. GOOD: Straight Talk phone service reliable on Sprint network. Data is fine. Phone is sturdy. Speed is okay but not comparable to "real" smartphones. Easy set up for phone and service. Navigation extremely easy. Nice slide-out QWERTY keyboard, but still has touchscreen. Battery life great. Lasts over a day. Camera decent. Night photos blurry since there is no flash. BAD: Only 215 MB of usable memory. VERY limited app use. 4GB mini SD card does not store all apps. Frequent freezes when memory is overloaded. Wireless okay after disconnected and reconnecting from network. UGLY: Low storage require text message deletion or phone completely locks up. Can't delete extra messages because phone program won't open up when this happens. YouTube videos play well - but anything sent in a text message is iffy and tends to lock up the phone. VERDICT: If you don't use a lot of apps or need bells and whistles -- this phone will work fine. Plan price is unbeatable; unlimited everything for under $50 a mo. Anyone who just needs a very basic smartphone but with a great plan should do well with this one.

  • It's your charger...

  • I just ordered the phone does it even work? I looked on youtube and a lot of people said they loved it so im confused right now

  • halp me plis my phone me can not open to play. me open see only S/W

  • I'm on my second phone in 6 months, and it's the same problem. The screen is jumping around and won't straighten out. The first time I sent it back to Straight Talk since it was still under warranty, and it took them 6 weeks to get it fixed. They have the worst customer service I've ever encountered. This time I'm buying a phone from a different carrier.

  • I have a Samsung galaxy straight talk phone and it runs off of sprint.

  • i got a reconditioned phone from straight talk had it for 3 days & had to send it back because if it wasnt slid open the screen didnt work... & they give u a ticket number to track for your replacement & when itrack mine it says its been shipped contact customer care for tracking info so i do and they are like well it hasnt been shipped... n i say well they why the hell does ur website say it has been.. other then that i have never had a probelm with straightalk tho im still waiting on replacement device.... oh & the lg optimus q from straight talk actually goes off the sprint towers...jus sayin

  • yea its def not unlimited data i used 2gbyts and they threatened to deactivate my whole number and everyrhing so it is not unlimited data

  • straight talk itself is horrible but i go thru net10 and have the same issues with every phone i try i think its a trac phone problem...i also had the same issues with straight talk... i have a UMX now and it is the absolute worst phone ive ever had so i wanna try the optimus q

  • yes it is you have to realize there are several models of the Optimus q like the lg55c and this one the lu2300

  • I literally just received the LG Optimus Q for my birthday and since having it for 1 day a whole 24hours it has given me nothing, but issues. I cannot text because it is saying I'm out of memory, although when I go into my settings its all free space! the battery life is horrible and so is the call settings, they drop randomly in FULL service areas, I am taking this phone back to the place I got it, beings the reviews I read were nothing negative until I found this site. It is sad they sell this phone for about $200 and it doesn't work. My provider is straighttalk who also has sent me the wrong phone, no phone, then a replacement phone (which I wound up with until I had gotten this one) It is sad how phone companies can't make 1 simple phone with no glitches, I'm thinking about going back to the old flip phones, because they actually worked!! Does anyone else have the problem of "no memory" dropped calls and not being able to send more then 3 messages before it says memory full?

  • This phone frustrates me. SD card always unmounts randomly. My apps freak out for no reason, and now my camera app doesn't work. This means no pictures. No snapchat. No undrafted. I want a new phone.

  • No i have this phone it has no sim card and it works off sprint towers and it sucks where i live.

  • ..that picture shown is definitely not the LG Optimus Q but whatever. Bottom line is i'm getting a different phone. I've had this one for almost a year and it's not worth the $180 tag price. My friend bought the Precedent for $80 and it's literally the same phone, $100 cheaper. This one locks up constantly, always have to restart it. SD card comes unmounted daily, constant reminder of low space remaining on phone. Also no good phone covers available for this model.

  • mine is an lg optimus q 55c. does this phone have a ringback tone feature? you know, the tone people hear when calling.

  • I keep getting "too many windows open" message on my LG optimus q. How do I close these windows down"?

  • wrong, the samsung galaxy precedent uses sprint

  • I dont know if anyone has replied to you, but I saw the manual for this phone on the net10 site. I hope this helps! :)

  • is this also net10????

  • all straight talk phones use either at&t, verizon, or t-mobile towers depending on your area and which has the strongest signal strength

  • Straight talk uses either AT&T or Verizon, depending on phone you buy.

  • not at&t towers verizon

  • where can I find a users manual for this phone? Everything I have downloaded leaves me with NO manual. Please help me.

  • okay straight talk working off the at&t towers?? the Nokia phone that looks a blackberry works off the at&t towers.. majority of the more expensive smart phones do run off the at&t towerrs.. whoever is tellin you else is nutso

  • Ikr, the one they are showing is a CYON phone that is only in korea :( the REAL optimus q is model number lgl55c from straight talk. It has android 2.2.1 froyo (I think) and can be updated to 2.3.4 gingerbread. I don't know who they think they are fooling with this crap, but it ain't working. QUIT LYING PEOPLE!!

  • I agree do not buy this phone mine overheats daily and I have so many dropped calls that if I got mugged or something no one would ever know because it is not unusual for my calls to drop.

  • lg optimus q sucks. my screens only displaying blackness. everything else is working, i dont know how to solve this.

  • Love thus phone I first had the Samsung precedent through straight talk that phone makes Android phone look like shit constant problems.. But the lg optimus q Is bad ass this Is one if the best Android phones I ever owned the phone is super fast in processing power and on the internet i've heard bad things about the sprint network which this phone uses but I've had nothing but a stellar experience with this phone using sprints network id recommend the lg optimus q to anyone the phone works flawless for me and i'm on it all the time! Way to go LG

  • thats what i say one place says the Optimus Q has a 3.2 screen another 3.5 screen. one says 5mp camera the other says 3.2 mp camera /one says flash other says no flash //// How many Q's are out there? most of the specs are different

  • We bought the LG Optimus Q at christmas. We love the phone and the features but for the second time now the sprint network in our area just DIES for a while. We also have a virgin mobile mifi and that happens to be sprint too so we have no communication at home. We had enough and bought one of the merit phones. It's really nice, signal is AWESOME! I myself need a keyboard so hubby is getting this one and i'm going to see if i can get a sim card for a previous phone i have. I just wish that the LG optimus q had the sim card as well. I doubt the mini sd sim would work since they say no straight talk phones work with the sims. SIGH. Nice phone, bad service from sprint!

  • That is NOT the lg optimus Q they are showing. It is some CYON phone. I have an optimus Q, I would know. The picture is NOT the Q and the model# isn't LU2300 it is LGL55C. Look it up.

  • They do have phones. The Samsung Proclaim runs on Verizon's network and the ZTE Merit runs on ATT. The Proclaim costs the same as this phone and the Merit is $130. All of them run Gingerbread and have 3.5" screens.

  • Can I know how to change time and date??

  • I have problems w this phone too. it has overheated three times n three months nearly burning me AND my son!!!!!! also memory issues . I have deltrd all user installed apps, music, AND photos. still have NO memory to redownload even Facebook app. THIS PHONE IS A DUD. DO NOT BUY IT! total ripoff of hardearned 200 dollars. bottomline.

  • No sim card. All Straight Talk androids thus far only run off the Sprint network. I wish they would find one that works off ATT network. It would be a big seller. So, I hope they are listening. lol

  • Yep.. sounds like a lemon. Had very much the same issue. Thought I had a virus or something. Had phone since January. Reported the problem to Straight Talk and they sent me a brand new phone. I hope it doesn't flake out on me either. I wondered if perhaps the LG Optimus Q is one of those buggy phones. That's why they had no problems replacing it.

  • Hey straight talk really does give you unlimited everything. Trust me, I live on the phone! I should know, just saying. Now I'm with wal mart family and no your 3 g is not unlimited however you DO get unlimited Internet and data regardless. The service is decent and both prices simply cannot be beat! As for the LG, hey it's quirky but for a first time user it's decent, but within a few months you'll crave the next best ;)

  • I recently purchased the LG Optimus Q, prior to purchase I contacted Stright Talk. Asked if the phone was Adobe Flash compatible, they said yes. When I tried to download Adobe Flash Play, get error message phone not compatible. Can anyone give suggestion?

  • Hey, I am hoping to purchase this phone soon but I was wondering if it will support Skype? It would be a big help to me if anyone could let me know. Thanks, Chibi

  • You need to get a file browser such as androzip your files should be in download folder

  • I had the same problem I called straight talk and the replaced it for me

  • I have been with Cricket for 4 years, and have never had my intenet messed with. I live on my smart phone constantly. So as far as they saying unlimited, Im believing it.

  • Great phone, many features, apps work well. One problem - the receiver plug to recharge the battery fouled after 2 mos. The pins pushed back into the housing so contact with the charger no longer worked. I had to replace the phone.

  • Yes, and the alarm clock works great.

  • So I bought this phone 2 weeks ago and already problems. It turned off on me, on it's own yesterday and again to today.I recharged it fully yesterday and never used the internet, today it had low power and asking to recharge. It came back on yesterday but today kaput! I have notice that the back of phone was getting warmer and warmer each passing day.Battery problem or a lemon? Help!!

  • I just resently downloaded the game Draw Something and thought it would be easier to draw with a stylus. I just don't want to buy one if it wont work. does any one know if it will?

  • Look in Bluetooth that is where my videos and music go to when I've downloaded them.

  • Actually, unlimited data with Sprint actually is unlimited. I've been with Sprint for seven years and I have always been able to use as much data as I want. If you want to use your phone for tethering, there is an additional charge, but once that charge is paid the amount of data you can use is unlimited. They don't throttle your data either.

  • Just purchased the phone and i had daughter send me sounds via text messages so i could have better ringtones, but when i download attachment i cant find where the sounds were saved on phone - i looked in gallery and ringtones - probably an easy answer but a little brain dead on this new phones capabalities

  • Because this phone does not have a sim card it can run off of either Sprint or Verizon. AT&T and T-Mobile are the only major cell phone companies that requires a sim card for the use of their services.

  • I did not have this exact problem with this phone, but in less then a week i did have a large amount of issues with this phone. I will tell you as a customer care rep for a cell phone company (not straight talk) call the manufacture typically doesnt do anything unless you are willing to go without your phone for 2 weeks while their techs look at your phone. But I will say that I called straight talk after having this phone for less then a month and they were more than happy to assist me with a handset exchange...which i am not happy about their policy to send in my phone and wait for them to send me a new phone bc the rep said that it can take up to 15 days..luckily i already have a straight talk phone that i transfered my number to for the time being. But never the less they are sending me a new and hopfully working phone.

  • "Unlimited" data doesnt mean "unlimited" no matter what cell phone company you are with. It doenst matter if you have Verizon, Sprint, Straight Talk, At&T, Boost Mobile, T-Mobile, or Family Talk. Im a T-Mobile custromer care rep and I get calls all of the time, customers complaining bc their internet has been throttled. I really wish cell phone companies would stop throwing around the word "unlimited"..its false advertising

  • Ur calling the phone lousy for your spelling ability? You might wanna look in the mirror next time you wanna call something lousy!! Peace!!!

  • It must be lousy, it doesn't correct your spelling!

  • Take special care to review Straight Talks data policy before purchasing this phone. I have a Nokia E5 and just received a call from straight talk stating that I was using too much data. I have a unlimited data plan but apparently using your phone as a mobile hotspot is not cool with straight talk. If you read the fine print in the terms and conditions streaming audio and video to your phone is not permissable either. BEWARE Unlimited data does not really mean umlimited data

  • yes, go to menu hit clock, then it will show an alarm clock

  • there are two different versions of this phone. Ones a slider and the other isn't.

  • I was wondering if this phone has an alarm clock built in to it... Can any of you help me out?

  • It runs off tracfone of net10 and no it cones with an sd card

  • Does anyone know how ths phone slides because straighttalk website says it slides sideways but walmarts picture says it slides up and down can anyone verify this for me plz thank you :)

  • ive had this phone for a few months now and over all its a nice phone. I switched from verizon to save money. have no complaints best i have found for one with strait talk service.

  • purchased this phone one week ago, for use with straight talk. all of a sudden, i can only get it to unlock by sliding the key board open. i cannot use the touch screen in the vertical position-only with the key board open. any ideas? i called lg, they were no help going to return to walmart, but not sure if to get another. anyone else have this problem?

  • thank you for your comment--- goodbye verizon, sprint, at&t,theres a new service in town.... after going thru sooooomany hassles with all the "big phone carriers" ive had it, and as long as they keep trying to stay relatively current with phone technology.... im a customer 4 life!!! no more annoying over-priced phone bills, no more "hidden fees & taxes" im all 4 the $45 per month unlimuited, awesome.... muaaahhhh

  • I own the lg optimus q, its on this site, but it isnt this one, straighttalk says the camera is 3mp, i was leery on getting it, but the mp are 3.2,not too bad. I like the phone, no problems with it. With 2.3 android its worth it

  • Except the nokia e5 is NOT a droid phone.

  • Does this phone work with video chatting on Skype? Particularly, does it have a front camera so that the other person can see me and I can see the other person when chatting?

  • I bought this phone a few weeks ago to replace my crappy but verh tough (A lot of dropping) and it is great. Yes in some areas there isn't any signal, which I would recommend checking the coverage in your area... however if you are in a big city like Houston, the connection is perfect. As for the phone itself, $180 (Including taxes) is a great price for an android phone running android 2.3, running a ghz processor and 500 mn of ram, AND its sprints service which straight talk offers a 5gb data cap for $45 a month, you just can,t beat that right now... I'm. So glad I got the phone and as long as it doesn't mess up ill be a customer forever. And btw goodbye at&t, boost, tmobile, and maybe even verizon, there's a new boss in town and its called tracfone...

  • I like the lg optimus but is there a way to share music? When I called and asked for help through the android department they said they couldn't help me. The bluetooth on these phones only allow sharing of pictures and videos.

  • I called straight talk and they said it does not have a sim card and it runs off sprint, but I talked to a guy at radio shack and said as long asit does not have a sim card you can have it run with verizon. That is what I am going to do if I get one.

  • This is Straight Talk's first Android Device, and one of two Android Devices available through Net10. Straight Talk and Net10 are owned by AmericaMovil, which also owns TracFone. Both brands use the same array of network partnerships to provide coverage to the majority of their phones, except Straight Talk limits this handset to a small portion of its coverage map while Net10 provides access to its full network partnership. The bottom line is, buying this phone through Net10 and using their $50/monthly unlimited plan will allow your Optimus Q to work in more places right now, while buying this phone through Straight Talk and using their $45/monthly unlimited plan will still provide coverage in a majority of major cities with a coverage map that is likely to grow.

  • I have this phone with straight talk and I love it. It works great and I live in a rual area. I read that it works off of the sprint network but seems to work flawless. Check the straight talk website and see if it is avaialable in your area. I highly recomend this phone. the only down fall is if you use some of the apps like pandora it can drain your battery if you use it for long periods of time.

  • is the straight talk lg optimus q a sim card phone ,and what network does it run on ?? any one ?

  • This phone isn't the same as the one on straight talk... check out the review on wontek.com.. it is 3.2mp camera

  • thanks i was about to go to walmart to buy this but would of been fooled

  • This is not the same phone as the one being offered by straight talk. Straight talk's specs are correct. Compare the pictures of the two phones. You will see they are not the same. The Nokia E5 is a straght talk phone with a 5MP camera. You'd probably be better served with that android phone.

  • StraightTalk's website says this phone has a 3mp camera, yet these specs say 5mp. Which is it please? I'm looking for a phone with 5mp specifically.

  • i found an LG OPTIMUS TOO...can't trace the owner but I'm certain that it's a korean since the cp has a dual time local and seoul...the problem is the phone is lock i dunno how to unlock it.

  • Thank you for your exact information.

  • im actual user of this phone, and many parts of this table are not right. NO AMOLED NO "N" type WIFI NO camera flash NO 720p video recording Touch-sensitive optical trackpad -> replaced to D-pad (button) many of these things above are features of prototype model.. actual product is down-graded..

  • are u sure ? is it not amoled? i dont find that info any other site.. also pls share ur exp on this mobile... thnx in advance

  • Correction of the specifications! - NO LED flash - HD LCD screen (NOT AMOLED) These specifications were rumored before announcement. This phone has been discontinued, due to the production of new phones. (according to LGE) This phone has recently been upgraded to 2.2 Froyo and now supports Adobe Flash Player 10.1. The 1,500mAh battery for the Optimus 2X works on this phone, but the battery cover will close stiffly. (tested by most users including me) This phone uses Gorilla Glass. (PLEASE keep your facts updated, GSM Arena!!)

  • i saw its pics on web n it doesn't seem to hav an led flash bt many nsites mention it has 1 ?? wats d truth

  • Im from the philippines, i found an optimus q inside a taxi cab, my problem now is i cannot trace its ownwer since the phones language is korean, plus it seemed to be locked. I i may be able to insert the sim in another phone so i can check the phonebook if there are numbers saved, but i dont see any sim nor sim card slot at the back. I see its a really good phone and the owmer may be sad now but im in a dead end to finding him/ her..

  • yes it is available in india with a price of around 15000 rs

  • Is this phone available in India?? And pls update me its current price if possible

  • This phone is great I can do everything on here very amazing

  • Yeah... the battery capacity isn't that great, but luckily! LG has made a new 1500mAh battery that fits! (used for the Optimus Mach and 2X)

  • I use this phone and one thing for SURE is that it's better than Optimus One! If your eyes are open, compare the specs!!

  • Yeah, i think so too, i really want the optimus one for Christmas!:D

  • this phone sucks big tym...never but LG phone...lousey phone....

  • this phone is being offered in Hungary at least, from T-Mobile so not only in korea

  • this phone's battery capability great.decent camera but no vedieo calling.it's mid range android phone.for any branded phone's details, reviews, cathch me on face book

  • Can this phone b used in the US?

  • Hi, I am an Optimus Q user here in Korea. Sadly, this phone supports only one provider in Korea, so there are no plans to release this phone anywhere else. The overall performance of Optimus Q is great :)

  • i always admire at LG phones design and i know this phone also beautiful...but how about the performance??? my old lg gm730 is beautiful but have very poor performance though.... unfortunately this phone not yet released for the rest of the world beside south Korean

  • I think it's great qwerty keyboard is really nice

  • the camera supports 8x digital zooom

  • how much zoom??

  • The camera supports digital zoom... it has no LED flash.

  • does dis mobile hv flash?? n it has zoom in de camera or not??

  • awesome phone :()

  • Yeah... optimus q has an hd lcd screen

  • Hey, i am an optimus q user here in korea. Unfortunately, no. Lg optimus q was released by a carrier in korea that doesnt have any phones with sim. As an optimus q user, it's kind of sad... lol

  • I really want this phone! The Qwerty+Design= AWESOME! WHY WHY WHY! Doesn't LG relese this phone abroad not only in Korea!!

  • yes it does

  • Does this phone use SIM card?

  • Seriously! know anyone who sells exports? it'd still work with T-mobile, right?

  • Hi! I'm an Optimus Q user in Korea, and it is a really cool smartphone :)

  • it's a pity that this phone is only sold in south korea

  • there is no video call, no front camera

  • zoom this picture you can view the front camera

  • Get samsung galaxy s then..or EVO 4G

  • again missing video call camera..why? why/? and why??????????????????????????????????

  • looks so sexy! lg must make a copy for europe!

  • The best Android ever!

  • AMOLED display..? hm.... look at this page

  • "what the fudge.... why don't we get stuff like this in US???? Why are all the cool phones in Korea or Japan?? this phone looks awesome, i hope there will be an unlocked GSM version so I can get it off ebay or something." It is coming to Canada in July. It will have the North America 3G bands, So you can use it 3G on AT&T in the USA, or T-Mobile 2G Network.

  • it's out to the market already in Korea. and one of my friends using this, and she is very much satisfied with it! is it coming to US market?

  • awesome!!

  • Wow,. must buy this one.. very gud phone with hi tech feat. how much is it..

  • The 2G network Optimus Q operates on is not a GSM network : it operates on CDMA networks, and 3G network is not HSDPA, either. (CDMA2000 Rev.A)

  • You already have the choice of droid or milestone by motorola, you wont be getting a snapdragon but the other features and can easily be upgraded are the advantages of milestone.Even the latest android ie froyo makes your milestone 450 times more speed.

  • haha don't be too sad! Tomorrow will be better.

  • are the going 2 sell this in the uk cose i think that th is a gud phone and i want 2 buy 1 its got a gr8 size screen and gud keybord

  • Well, let me make a phone named "Megatron" then, but i'll make it under SE brand.

  • What's this...? The Autobot leader...?

  • Not only LG but also the other companies don't supply their full range in our country... Damn we're all seriously techno-geeks here....

  • The one I've been looking for....A slide-out full qwerty keyboard, a snapdragon and android... Unfortunately we're not gonna have it...I'm stucked with HD2 a spec-monster without a future... :((((

  • I imagine what will happen if they put a 1850 battery in this kick ass phone! 1350 is awesome and if they put 1850, this will be MONSTER HUGE! Cooooooooool phone!

  • it seems coooooooooooooool! xoxoxoxoxox

  • so... but in Korea telecommunication's(LGTelecom, Sktelecom, KT) They are spec-down smartphone.

  • Damn.. why not for in Europe! :( Finally a phone with newest version of android with an keyboard.. and then it can't be sold in the netherlands.. damn

  • i think phones made from korea and japan are much better because they are not limiting their product's specifications.

  • First, "LU" in LU2300 means LG Telecom, a career using EV-DO rev.A network(like Verizon or Sprint), not HSDPA. Second, press releases confirmed that LU2300 has "HD LCD" instead of AMOLED as rumor said. Third, Android version will be 1.6 when released, but will be updated to 2.1 later. (Wait, when does FroYo come out?) Fourth, LU2300 is still the best QWERTY Android smartphone with fast CPU. Why there is no Snapdragon QWERTY Android except for this?

  • LG have the so called "panther" due to be released i think in september.(windows7 os).it has the same body design as this one except for one or two changes in the key board.think its world wide too so might be worth waitin for.

  • korea phone !!good user memory 3G ? wow !!

  • what the fudge.... why don't we get stuff like this in US???? Why are all the cool phones in Korea or Japan?? this phone looks awesome, i hope there will be an unlocked GSM version so I can get it off ebay or something.

  • It will be released within 2~3 weeks in Korea. It has a great QWERTY solid keyboard, as well as a full perfectly amazing touch screen(this specification is I really like :) ). I really want to buy it ASAP. I think it's absolutely better than Samsung's Galaxy and HTC phones. I'm looking forward to getting this phone!!

  • Looks and sounds ace anyone no how much it gonna cost? Got a n97mini at mo and its a big mistake

  • I think this phone will be better then nexus one. Plus keyboard n' amoled screen. Gr8 phone, gr8 jobs lg.

  • fugly like Craze

  • Personally I don't like LG, you don't get what you pay for because they normally just break or go faulty. But this phone actually looks good to me.

  • Good phone with good features and this is the best phone form LG they have ever created this year 2010...

  • this phone is owsome i like that

  • And so what? This is for South Korea, the X10 is for the whole world! And don't forget the X10 was announced last year on November, it is NOT a new announced phone. The next Android SE phone will blow every others, this is my opinion. :D

  • I don't want to break your heart but the Chocolate KG800 that you are referring to almost killed LG on our market... Never the less, you do get value for money with LG, it just isn't that much money ^^. And this phone looks like a "Made in China" one. However, the specs look rather realistic... Who knows...

  • lg has the best design, symbian is the best OS. so i prefer you to buy KT770. its the best smartphone ever made. but at your point, android has a future. but as you see lg has no support for android and i think its google's problem. i dont believe lg can develop applications for android. because they focused on s-class UI (which they want to convert it into OS) so google and 3. party developers should work hard for android. for me, symbian will be the best OS if the company quickly change it into open-platform. and yes they will.

  • Hello everyone, I m perhaps the most eager fan of LG mobiles...thanks to their sleek designs. but i am worried about the future of the company since they are offering nothing when it comes to smartphones.Since the success of their Chocolate kg800 (the older one), they have been focusing on fashionable devices. Look at KF750 secret, GD900 Crystal, Viewty Smart, Shine ,BL40 new chocolate and now this on GD880 mini. All of these are amazing looking phones, but....what about OS. These are just feature phones( in other words DUMB phones). Now if they continue in the same way, what will happen to them in the nextone to two years. I am sure they will have to leave the third place for sony or MOTO. LG has not released even a single high end device after new chocolate BL40 (back in september 2009).Their sales are increasing but profit is decreasing. All of my dear friends! WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SUGGEST TO LG TO CONTINUE ITS SUCCESS IN MOBILE ARENA. Worried Fan.

  • Wow kick ass phone! Very 2010 with it's look!

  • i am thinking to buy it as soon as possible but i think it is aw sum

  • Way better then sony;s pathetic Xperia X10. Atleast this one has qwerty keyboard, capactive screen and HD video recording...

  • Wow. this is a good device. Why don't they launch this device worldwide.hhhmmm..... i think they are working on some big thing (something like HTC EVO4G). this may be PRADA3....

  • lg has many great qwerty keyboard phones like this, but i can only see ks360 in turkey, that looks like a crap and it is not android. i dont know why do lg has limited sales in my country. because more then 90% of these phones doesnt exist in turkey.

  • not bad lg but its damn ugly
