In my office multimedia phones are not allowed. I bought Nokia in Aug 2009 and it has been performing well until Sat, 30 Jug 2016 when accidently it slipped down in water. According to shopkeeper its mother board is at fault. It gets off immediately when we on it. Otherwise FM is functioning fine, one can hear the radio for hours together. I am very upset as I am so obsessed with it, may be its so lucky for me that I cannot leave it, I do not want to buy a new one from any other brand. Could you suggest me something that can it be repaired somewhere and its mother board can be replaced/repaired.

I have just been replacing this phone for a new unit (camera requirement, hence the update). This Nokia 2323 was used until 30.05.2016 (so about 7 years?) and it still works fine. Only reason for the upgrade was the need for a camera. Considering that the phone was assigned to a truck (not just one person but multiple drivers using the same truck) so was used by probably 30-40 different drivers over the years, shows how reliable this model was (and still is). Currently to get similarly robust phone you have to get a "rugged" version and even then it probably won't last this long. If you need a reliable and robust phone, get this second hand or refurbished.

Nokia 2323 Classic is not at all good for me and one of my friend also experienced same problem.. suddenly don't know the mobile gets restarts and restart automatically..goes switch off..dead...i have taken it to nokia service center(malkpet,Hyderabad,India) more than 4times..now today i have given it to nokia care today itself.. for a 2600/- mobile i have spent more than 1500/- rs for its servicing & software installation.. i have got similar experienced people.. many of them are moving to samsung... nokia should check their software in the nokia phones other wise by the end of the 2015.. Nokia's place Is no more in the market.... when i got my budget ill buy a new phone..till then i have to suffer with this :(

Been using this device for the past 2.5 years. It is still working well. Great battery life. My other phone was Blackberry 9700 and currently I'm using GNote. But this phone has its place always. In the recent past, the call speaker quality has detoriated. May be i need to get in checked. Nothing much to complain otherwise.

Hai, This is a low cost mobile with most features as like as high ended mobile phone, like bluetooth, GPRS (the speed is really amazing. I am getting max 25 KBps with Docomo via bluetooth), downloadable themes, fm radio. I am using it for about 2 years, still working as new phone. Only problem is microphone, it is somewhat low quality. otherwise it is better choice to surf, and listen fm raido.

If anyone wants a basic nokia phone with loud ringtones then the nokia 2323 and the nokia 2330 have really loud ringtones... Only problem is that the keypad is very uncomfortable to use and if you have big fingers then its not worth buying as i kept pressing other buttons by mistake due to the very poorly designed keypad.. I would love nokia to bring out a basic phone with the keypad of the nokia 3510 but they will not listen to the customer. Nokia used to make the best basic phones and they were easy to use and the keypads were excellent eg nokia 3410 3510 1110 1112 1600. Now their basic phones are very poorly designed and the quality has greatly diminished...

I really love this phone. The speakers in this phone are better than others and its battery is pure awesome. I accidentally left the music player (not the fm)running while going to sleep at 12:00 and I woke up at 7 to find the player still running with just one level of battery gone down. The speakers are great too. I got a visitor while I was at the bathroom listening to some music and I went to open the door which is nearly 60 feet away from the bathroom. I could still hear it very clearly. But the simplicity and the memory power of the phone are very disappointing.

Nokia 2323 is a good basic phone for anyone interested in internet surfing. It provides very good user interface. I bought it @2350 from Nokia Priority dealers, Twin towers gandhi maidan, Patna. It has bluetooth, Fm radio, Opera mini (for internet), a couple of games, online games downloadble for specially nokia 2323 classic. It has also several themes and many things as mentioned in the specifications. I have posted these comments from this device Nokia 2323 itself. I am a heavy internet user. This phone has never disappointed me for internet browsing. Some things that i would have liked to add to this phone were (Features absent in this mobile) : 1:large internal Memory 2: a memory card slot 3: support for youtube videos (no video available) 4: a camera 5: a torch light 6: dedicated volume keys. 7: more online applications

i have this phone for almost a year, it's quite GOOD. it's battery Lasts... even i use it to connect to internet, i think it can last up to 3 days in standby mode. and since i use this phone(my phone) to the internet, it lasts the WHOLE day!!! it's just a SIMPLE phone... but quite.. HANDY!!! especially in terms of emergency, you can count on it's battery life.. anyway, my battery & phone are ORIGINAL so this is my experience, i just don't think it'll be the same way to other people, 'coz a LOT of fake batteries and phone are scattered everywhere, so you should know how to check what's ORIGINAL from FAKE... okay? haha... well i'm just sharing my personal experience with this phone, and as of now i'm still using it... i think i already dropped it for a 100 times, but there's no problem, (except from the housing of course) haha...

With BSNL, am getting manageable speed to check mails and web pages (Its having Class 10 GPRS). Battery life lasts for one week, if your select your theme as DARK (which consumes less power). In total, a wonder phone for INR 2200/-...

This is pretty much crap. I bought AT&T version for $19. It is loaded with stupid AT&T firmware. It doesn't have camera. The built quality is terrible, and the phone squeaks when pressing the buttons. But hey for $19 I can't complain.

I just got the phone. Yeah its cheap plastic but the service reception is so much better than my iphones (i broke it thats why i got this one and put my sim in it - $20 solution). The call quality is good and its simple to use. I don't regret getting it..its just a phone and its good at it.

You should change the design. The small openings in the keypad and outer design leads to accumulation of dust particles. The door of the charge plug point is breakable. Even i too experienced this problem

Kindly, you need to do something in as far as its software is concerned and if possible increas its memory.Thanx alot and God bless

This is a good basic phone. Does pretty much everything I needs it for. However I have the following problem: (Anyone know how to fix this?) When someone phones me it simply shows as "CALL" on the phone. Not the numher or the name of the person (if they are saved in my phone book). Also When I have a missed call the number/ name does not show up so I have no idea who has been calling me? Is there any settings I need to change on the phone? This is pretty basic stuff for a mobile phone. I haven't changed any settings at all since getting it out of the box. Thanks in advance!

signal sensitivity is not upto the mark. battery is good, but not excellent. auto on and failure to shutdown of backlight was noted, whether this has to do with a certain setting only is not known.

Oh, and I forgot to share that its keys are built into the body and not raised, so they are a bit difficult to press with one hand sometimes. Again, this isn't really a drawback as an annoyance. And they don't matter before its looks and display! :)

I just wanted to share that whoever saw my phone, they complimented on its looks and display. My only complaints about the phone were a tinny sound in its receiver sometimes (very subjective since others told me they didn't hear it), and its creaky back-cover. But even they paled before its looks and display, and of course, the price. I would recommend it to those who don't need camera and memory :)

Back cover Infuriating counter-intuitive need to press top button in with plastic nib then run fingernails/ fingers around stretched up back cover to "force" the bloody thing open. Sim holder Press down on the vertical metal tab and slightly in to release the catch. I guess the Nokia OS can't be infected(because it has no any API) and it is closed from external "world". But you can get viruses by means of some "free" infected Java-applications from(first of all suspicious) web/wap sites. Those Java-based viruses are types of SMS-cheating, Trojan-SMS and so forth. Yes, this speaker is not as clear, as that one of my Nokia 3250 XM. But 3250 is a sound bomb! So I was not much confused with 2323's speaker. I had simply pardoned it such a minus and occasional noise in GSM-signal, as well.

Its a great phone. It looks very cool and is very sturdy too. Its one of the best mobiles within Rs. 2500. The battery backup is also great. The speaker is very loud. The FM is also loud and clear and has recording facility. But the headphones supplied with it are rubbish. The HS47 would have been a good match. The internal memory(10MB) is quiet low but enough for keeping a few good wallpapers, ringtones and themes. It comes with preloaded opera mini browser which is awesome for browsing. The OS is very good and user friendly and never hangs. It also has bluetooth facility. In short its the best mobile if you want to talk, text and browse the internet. Go for it!

Nokia 2323 by the name itself is pretty cool similarly the features too. A very good looking mobile which has a perfect display screen. Finishing is awesome in this mobile, and has a very good features when compare to other mobile phones. The only one backdrop the sound clarity in FM it will not give the at most satisfaction. However it is cool to listen the music in such a sound.

Only 2 issues-: The internal memory is very less. The internal memory should have been more or there would been a card slot (for extra memory). Secondly, this phone doesn't have a flashlight. I guess this phone would have been the best in it's category, both pricewise and qualitywise if it was having both the above mentioned features. Rest apart, for Rs. 2200/- I would say I have bought the best phone with all the features like FM, Bluetooth, GPRS and all other basic functions.

I have here a 2320 classic (AT&T: US), which is identical to the 2323 except for the lack of FM radio and bluetooth. (Very much in the manner of similarity between the 2610 and 2626 which were supplanted by these new models). I'm posting this here because there is no file on GSM Arena for the 2320c as of yet. Considering the above, I'll confine most of my comments to features common to both models. Pros: Really good speaker/ringtones...very clear and LOUD. Looks modern and like a more expensive model, relatively slim, very pocketable size, and build quality and durability is quite decent, though slightly less solid feeling than the 2610/2626. Screen is bright and vivid, and though low-res, it is much better than that of the 2610/2626 it replaces Good suite of organizer features (voice memo/to-do list/notepad, etc.) Image/media galleries. Though lacking a memory card slot, the larger built-in memory vs. the 2610 and others it replaces means more room for apps and fewer crashes due to exceeding capacity (e.g., when using browser) Good battery life. Has GPRS, email and IM capability. Trapdoor sim slot easier to use than the slide-in pocket type. Door over the jack cluster (headset/charge etc.) keeps out pocket lint and dirt. Now for the cons: Backlight time can't be adjusted and is too short; also dims after a few seconds (presumably to conserve battery, but this should be up to the user's preference). Included games cannot be deleted to make more of the (limited) memory space (at least in this AT&T USA model 2320, but I've heard of other Nokias on other networks, or open-line, with the same issue so I'm assuming it is generally the case here as well). No data/tethering port; the micro serial port is for technician (or hacker) purposes only. This lacking is somewhat alleviated on the 2323 by the bluetooth capability. Interface/OS can be a bit sluggish at times, though a big improvement over some of the older budget models (and texting is pretty fast) Only a few commonly used symbols are on the "1" key, requiring calling a menu to select many frequently-needed ones Not defaulting to numeral mode on the To: field in SMS entry mode Keypad is ok but somewhat lacking in tactile quality, not optimal for texting. Speaker grille on battery door could allow ingress of moisture. Battery door is rather difficult to remove; it needs to be lifted with a fingernail around its periphery after unlocking with the top release button; one fears it will break due to the bending that occurs when doing this, although it seems to be pretty strong (if thin) plastic material. DCT4+ so like other new Nokias, cannot be fully unlocked with current crop of hypersims...for now. ;) Offline/non-network functions will work using a hypersim and an "unauthorized" sim, but GSM radio is disabled. While a con for the end-user, admittedly this isn't something that Nokia would be inclined to do anything about, considering it is intentional... in fact I'm sure those Finns are laughing in their vodka about it. :) No FM radio on the 2320, when the even-cheaper and simpler 1661 has this feature. Logic behind this omission?? No A2DP on the 2323 bluetooth so one can pipe some tunes to the headset (though with the limited memory, there won't be many songs). Still, how much does a few lines of code cost? Hangup-key power-on sometimes causes unwanted turn-on in pocket; far better would be the separate power button on top like many other models. In short, Nokia *almost* got it perfect this time, with only a few oversights or cost-cutting measures somewhat marring the otherwise ideal budget cellphone series.

i am using ths cell for past 4 months. find it really good. can store lots of sms n contacts. easy to handle. n can play solitaire :p but facing few problems: 1) it flashes msg as: "SIM CARD registry fail". and it shows no network. 2) if the phone falls the entire bk side fall apart along wit battery. 3) volume while playing music is very good but while talkin i feel its less. my question is: is any one facing the problem number 1) if yes thn wt is the solution?

Hi all, I've already posted a mini review here, but now I have this phone for almost 3 months and I want to say again that it's one of the best phones I've ever had. Small, nice keypad, great sound, exellent call quality, we can save more than 1500 sms, it depends on how much free space we have. I only have 3 photos, 2 ring tones, ebuddy, nimbuzz, facebook and hi5, and I have like half of free memory, I can save lots and lots of sms! I use the cell phone to sms, calls, ebuddy, hi5 and facebook sometimes when I don't have internet. It's great. The battery takes like 3 or 4 days to die, but I use it very much! Buy this phone if your looking for a social phone without mp3 player or camera function. And by the way. the phone memory is 32mb!

Cons 1.Hard Keypad 2.charger & Handsfree cover very bad. 3.BIG CLOCK with Odd placement. 4.clock as screen saver is missing. 5.10 mb memory at least 64 mb would have been fine. 6.life tools are Absolute waste. 7.Screen saver is missing. 8.Charging time is more than 3 hours with the company provide charger. 9.phone contacts restricted to only 1000nos,when there lot of memorey upto 9mb. considering all this and looking at the current price range this is a good product from nokia and the value for money is good.hope my conclusion helps others.

Hi there. I've buyed this phone today, for 49 euros. I had in my hand this and the 2330, with the same price, and I've buyed this. You must be thinking, this guy is a dummy, but the only diference bettwen this model and 2330 is the VGA camera, and I hate bad cameras, so I choose this model. First of all, I have to say that it's beatifull. The keypad is hard, but exelent to sms, the back cover, without a camera is so beutiful and shiny. The display is very good and large, and the screen quality is exellent. Something even great is the sound. The ringtones come out SO LOUD. it's amazing. I'm having only one problem, the SMS ringtone comes out very down, I almost can't hear it. I buyed this phone with a social prupose. I mean: SMS, MMS, Calls, Messenger. Till now, my only problem is the messenger, I'm not able to put the ebuddy file in the cell phone cuse there is no USB cable, and I can't aceed it trough the site. Don't come with that stupid talking like "wtf, dsn't have memory card?" cuse this phone doesn't need it. For that we have IPOD or Cameras. A cell phone is a cellphone for sociallizing! Baterry is also very good, I send like 200 sms per day, and like 6 calls per day, and it takes like 3 days to run out of battery. I just love my phone, is cheap, beutifull, and very user friendly! @

I can also confirm that it has EDGE, at least in the 900/1800 version. It's visible to the user, since an "E" appears where we would usually see a "G" (for GPRS). However, I haven't found a way to record FM radio. If anyone could give me any hint, I'd be grateful.

Hi all, i bought this phone, its is best featured phone in its own catagory, but site show 32mb memory, it has only 11.4mb actually, and is bit slow, ram only 3mb but its OS vs is s40V5 which is quite advance but ram is too low to handle it, hence a bit slow. >>after using phone extensively like file transfer sms sending installing app etc. phone goes not reachable even after n/w strength is full, i had to switch off and restart it.

I tried a nokia 2330 in a shop recently and the ringtones are loud, you will not miss a call, and the keypad is comfortable with decent sized keys. The nokia 2323 should be the exact same. If you are looking to buy a very good basic phone then you will love the nokia 2323 and the nokia 2330 !

the nokia 2323 is perhaps looks like a very plain and boring but its user interface is more lucid ,faster,and easier than its counterparts such as nokia 2600 classic, 2630 etc. except camera it has almost everything that an avg. user demands. the mobile's casing has been made dust proof also its speaker is loud and it looks sturdy. its battery backup is very good . i have connected it to internet as data modem and after 52 mins of surfing 1 bar of battery is down. i use aircel pocket internet and surf at the rate of 60-70 kbps at the speed of edge although officially it doesn't support edge. the keypad is good but not for heavy texters. i like its synchronization and i have synchronized every contacts, calendar, notes etc to this thus saves me to copy the data manually.its default browser is opera (preinstalled) which is very fast. cons:- 1. the battery cover opening system is weired. 2. the supplied headset is of worst quality i have seen till today. 3. only 10 mb of memory. 4. lack of call privacy. 5. lack of fm transmitter. phones of this type should have this so that the radio could be played without heaphones.

yes nitesh...i also had this signal problem along with the other problems which i had mentioned earlier. so i gave my cell phone to nokia care. they said it's software problem and they will solve it. they kept my phone for a week and they said its working perfectly now. But when i checked the phone, it showed the same problems which it had earlier. i had a small argument with them regarding this and finally they said they will send this phone back to the company in Delhi to have a detailed check and will take around 3 more weeks to get it back... So now Iam waiting for it..... I think my decision to go for Nokia was wrong...

Good phone but takes a bit long for charging and for prepaid customers like me the balance msg keeps on coming after every sent messege in case of multiple sending which is a bit irritating. The vibrating mode needs to b improved. The design, features are good. The internet is working all right, i can check my mail and browse web sites without a problem. Overall if somebody is having a Nokia 1600 or a phone around Rs1800-2000 and is considering to buy a new handset then this a a good option i would say after all its nokia and is a very user friendly phone and getting used to it doesnt take a lot of time. Go for it!

Ok buyers beware of what you will get for 50 US $ equivalent. Its display is extremely good. But then Nokia had to cut corners somewhere. So its earpiece is bad and vibrates as I posted earlier. And what do the service center people say? They refuse to acknowledge the issue and say it's my imagination. I just told them that I am gonna throw their crap phone down the trashcan after 3 months. Bought this cell phone last week.Pretty good design. but am facing some problem. Firstly,When playing games, not able to receive any calls. when somebody makes a call to u, it says u r not reachable. but when u exit from games the phone works fine. Secondly,while typing sms, the mobile hangs in between but restores to normal after sometime. And third, when we try to record something using voice recorder, it again hangs. For the price of Rs.2500 in India, this phone has got decent screen, good organiser features, and a minimal web browsing capability. Voice and FM recording are nice features. However, the phone in India comes only with minimal themes and ringtones; this is contrary to what Nokia says in their specs that there are some built-in ring tones/video ringtones. May be you have to download all these. Regarding contacts, I found that I am not able to assign individual contacts with different ring tones. Wonder if this is possible? Phone keypad is a bit difficult to use (one has to use fingernails to type perhaps). Not able to type as fast as in my older Nokia (1600). Build quality is also not that great; back cover appears creaky. Have to wait and see how long this phone lasts. However, all these are minor issues when one looks at the value for money. Not a bad phone it appears.

Fantastic budget phone. Feels comfortable to hold. Build quality is excellent. Looks more expensive than it is. Great keypad, easily the best in this price range. Series 40 UI is fast. (xpressradio which is in same price range has series 30) Great features. Cant get a better value phone for 2400INR. If you are looking for a decent talk and text phone, you will be hardpressed to find anything better than the 2323. The only thing I miss is the flashlight. (which I tend to use more than the camera ! )

which is a better buy- 2323 or Sony Ericsson R300? 2323 does not have USB which is a drawback as file transfers of phonebook etc may take a lot of time. For a little extra money, i get usb, built in antenna for radio and a vga camera in R300. Phonebook of 1000 is available in both, and is an important feature. The user manual of Sony as availble on net is pathetic. Users may please advise me which phone to buy. Thanks.

I've bought this mobile for US$57, the phone's quite similar to 2330c, except the camera. Firmware is slightly more mature than my 2330c coz scroll bar animation isn't buggy. If you erase all of initial phone contents, you'll get approx 9 mb. It has newest nokia tune. Unfortunately 2323c has same weakness as 2330c in texting, you can't change input mode to numerical in text field. Btw, it has the same headset like 2330c, hs-101. Btw, I've tried the radio, and signal reception is below average, my 6120c accept more than 15 stations, but 2323c just 3 stations when it search automatically

just both my 2323 classic a few days ago..im really impressed by the texture, the contour of the phone. Its nice to hold, the keypad is just the right size and crisp when texting. I sold my 5030 express radio just to buy this phone, and im not regreting it. the plus factor for this phone is that the bluetooth syncs well and fast. I paired it to my philips xenium 9@9w and it works perfectly, not i can install wallpapers and ringtones and if lucky atleast 1 of my fav mp3. But for me price is really the winning factor for this phone, for a measly 2,800 pesos i already have a cellphone that is colored, has radio and bluetooth, and i can customized it to my liking.

practically no memory [user memory] it has it`s own memory for about 5 or 8 mb for messages,system files,ringtones,wallpapers,and more. u can`t have mp3`s on it,it has no camera,so u don`t really need memory on it,as u don`t really do anything but talk,text,and find out what time it is XD

I think is a simple phone but very nice... like i gave alredy points to the other new Nokia�s let see this one... Design: 7 (Very nice and elegant design for a low-mid phone, good size and resolution of the display, great buttons for confortable keypad, and the 5 way navigation key give more options to navegate in the menu�s... very interesting design) Features: 5 (Passble features, lacks almost everything but for the market it�s made it has as an improve: mms, mp3 ringtones, extended phonebook to 1000 entries, email, fm radio with recording..that can get you entertaint a while) Performance: 7 (Just good performance, lower than other cheap phones but still well) Love the design, great phone to enter the mobile world... what i will like to put to get it perfect is a micro sd to keep info or play some music...but nice...
