OnePlus 5 - User Reviews

  • Stop lying the 5 will get it in 2020

  • That'd be strange cuz the old 3 and 3T even got pie, so wouldn't it make sense for the 5 to get 10 as the last?

  • Out of sudden recently my phone is getting battery drain so fast now. Running ok 9.0.8. anyone experiencing the same ?

  • No Android 10 for oneplus 5 pie is the last one

  • my mobile touch and screen already broken. how can I get that..Please.

  • may be you charge your phone overnight & that is causing tje problem? if you charge your phone 0-100% in 1.30 min then use it, look if the problem is still there or not..... overnight charging causes first 10% of battery to drain fast...

  • I hope it will get but not as quick as OnePlus 7 series or 6/6T series.

  • Is there any information about Android 10 for oneplus 5?

  • Does CDMA in this phn region dependent???

  • Is CDMA in this phone region dependent???

  • Burn in

  • I just bought OP5, secondhand. Turns out it got yellow tint (NO, NOT because of the NIGHT MODE or READING MODE. YES, I tried every SCREEN CALIBRATION and still yellow-ish) and got jelly effect. For some reason the seller can't replace my unit. The only thing that bothers me is the screen and I can't play games properly. Is someone facing the same issue? Will replacing the screen will fix the problem?

  • Same here. Maybe thats coz jio uses voip for phone .

  • Thats simple because oneplus 5 doesn't have dual volte, so when you use Jio as your data sim then airtel works because it uses 3G network, but when you use Airtel for data then Jio does not work because it doesn't support 3G network as it works only in 4G mode that's why..

  • Did u get the solution

  • I use SIM1 as Airtel and Sim 2 as JIO. If i use mobile data for JIO , i dint face any issue. If i use Airtel Sim 1 for mobile data, SIM 2 network is not working.. but recent mobiles dont have this issue.

  • I need for help, my phone have problems with WIFI frequency 2.4 and 5.0, my phone is one plus 5 with android version 9.0 but when l set in my phone android 8.1.0 no problem with WIFI, what's wrong

  • Oneplus 5 is just enough for this era heavy games👍

  • Absolutely man my OnePlus 5 still going strong

  • Why is discounted? Is just 2017 released man! wt*!

  • A 5p

  • Today is 08/06/2019. I've been using this phone more than 2Y now and its amazingly great - No Lag - No prob- Supports all this Era games.

  • OnePlus 5 would be a great choices for you.

  • Hello acutely I want you to suggest me that I am related to the transport and I need good battery life and voice quality and fine quality of boday.which one is best for me oneplus 5 or a50???

  • My phone drains first 6-8 percent very fast and after that battery works normally. It gives me 6hr sot usually. I don't know what's the issue. Is it the battery indicator? Or is it the new update?

  • I play all games with this phone on max graphics no issuess or lag at all

  • Is it good for gaming like pubg or better go for 5t or 6t? And which one should i choose oneplus 5 or pocophone?

  • I've had nothing but issues with the new update. If you don't want your phone becoming a useless brick, don't update. My phone started acting weird after the update, then apps didn't start, force stopped them, restarted the phone and it stuck in recovery mode no matter how many times I restarted. Contacted Oneplus, they gave me support over chat, today I had a remote session to flash the phone. I could save NO data from my phone, lost everything. The guy from oneplus said that they are aware of this issue and working on it. They didn't release a working version at all. I am utterly disappointed in the brand now. I flashed it myself as first time didn't work on the remote session but worked second time (same pie android). Set up my phone, and started producing the same issue, app didn't start, force stopped it, reboot. This time it is a real brick, doesn't even switch on. Requested a previous version of android, hopefully they'll provide it. Again if you can, don't update.

  • Yes, received the update a few weeks ago. Works like a charm without a slightest lag.

  • Anyone already got the upgrade to Pie 9.0? Any issues concerning lag or functionality?

  • Thanx for the reply

  • One plus5 is enough

  • I feel like this update (Android Pie) has slowed down my phone in a similar way Apple slows down their phones. One year of use and suddenly I have to buy a new device or use the slower version of the software. I can't recommend OnePlus 5 anymore

  • Galaxy 8. Or. Oneplus 5??

  • OS v9.0.3 has finally arrived in the UK.

  • Guys plz suggest between one plus 5, 5Y and 6T which to go for i am not a gamer not much apps downloaded, but need a phone with good voice quality and good working phone. plz suggest, as don't want to put too much money at the same time purpose should be solved. thank you.

  • Mate 9 pro it's better on the camera by a bit but just install pixel cam on OnePlus and your good to go,as for the battery I'll say OnePlus all the way.SOT around 7hr on more than a year old Oneplus5, the mate will decrease on SOT

  • Hi Im in bangaluru and i got the upadate, Kindly check manually

  • I get pie update on 3rd january and its running very smoothly in india

  • so far pie update not received in india

  • One plus 5 , Android 9.0 ( Pie ), is it update Available in india ?

  • I just got one. December 2018. I'm really impressed so far. Battery life is great, the OS is very clean and non-intrusive. I use Nova launcher. Screen and camera very good. I usually root my phones but I haven't bothered. It seems fine as it is.

  • One Plus 5

  • Op5 or sony xz premium?

  • Did it support DUAL VoLTE as I tried to have 2 VoLTE connection with JIO and AIRTEL and I am not getting the dual mode VoLTE connection. If anybody having solutions please suggest.

  • I saw that youtube video as well, it was a year old. there is no jelly affect, the dude was just looking for something to complain about. Twitter might display a jelly affect but all other apps run like a normal phone pertaining to scrolling. Oneplus probably fixed that jelly feature in an update long ago. If you are looking for a gaming phone this is one of the best on the market probably. This is one of the best phones on the market in general, Ive had mine for a year and it continues to amaze me.

  • Anyone know if the "jelly" effect effects games

  • One plus 5 is very very bad Phone you cannot buy This One plus 5 I brought One year and Two months before One day Phon's Camera is default. I dont Know what is happened I Iive Kannur Kerala but Service Centre only Cochin and Trivandrum 500 km distance from my home town . my friend Aneesh took my phone and went to Trivandrum Service Centre . Affer checked my phone if repaire The phone Cost is 24000 I Suggest dont repair . This is One plus 5 Thank you

  • Bought the phone just when it came out 17 months passed and it is still like brand new, fast as hell, runs all the apps instantaneously, perfect for multitasking I could open 20 apps including games and everything, still works like a champ! Best phone I ever had!

  • best phone i ever had , couple of hangs here and there( 16 month span ) , but its worth it

  • Never hanging, perfect phone since 16 months. Battery charging is soooo fast!

  • Never hanging

  • Do not buy one plus 5.Everything is fine but It hangs most of the time.so it is waste of money and time.

  • Using Oneplus 5 since 8 months. This is one of the best phone. Great battery life, good screen and speed. It never lags, easy to use and customizable. I also have Galaxy S-8 but I feel more comfortable with Oneplus 5. In fact Oneplus 5 is much lighter and has bigger screen in practical. This is the only smart phone with me which last two days on single charge.

  • 8GB of RAM was really impressive of the time.

  • Yes. Face Unlock is available.

  • SD845 is slightly more powerful, however I find the S835 perfectly sufficient and its easier on the battery too.

  • Yes.

  • Face unlock available?

  • How much difference Between SD 845 and 835

  • Very nice worth for price lovely phone

  • the face unlock works so well with the new update.... Waiting for the next update from 1+ ;)

  • yes, in the new update they added face unlock

  • in one plus 5 there is face lock or not??

  • Viruses.

  • I received the latest update, OxygenOS v5.1.5 today. The Oneplus 5T update is 1161Mb but the Oneplus 5 version is 1163Mb. I wonder what the extra 2Mb is?

  • Actually I've called around my local area, and if you need to replace a battery for your One plus 5 you can. Granted it's pricey, probably like 150 to 200 but it is possible to get a replacement. That was the first thing I checked when I decided to buy the phone used. Granted I bought the wrong model but I'm quite satisfied with the purchase.

  • It's either a battery issue or an app issue. If it's still under warranty I'd call customer service. Otherwise most cell phone repair places can replace the battery but it may cost a bit. Maybe it's time to upgrade.

  • Which assemble is good for oneplus5 india or China

  • This and the OP5T looked rushed, both design and performance is very mediocre probably worser than OP1/2

  • Well maybe some OnePlus 5 units got the update and other's don't, his is the one that is still stuck on Android 7.

  • sorry but its the best phone I have ever owned.

  • What are you talking about ?? mine is on 8.1 !

  • Well I know someone who has a OnePlus 5 and he is still stuck on Android 7

  • @Macbeth My OnePlus 5 is on Android 8.1.0 and security level 1 May 2018.

  • Android 9 is coming very soon and this phone STILL doesn't support Android 8! Seriously what is going on OnePlus?! >:(

  • @Frustrated If you don't like 'OK Google' then just turn it off, it only takes seconds to do!

  • The very worst phone ever ! A nightmare Every now and then ok George takes over and I can't type. Only one guy nearby fixes it Do not touch OnePlus.

  • 1 year with this phone = perfect phone. Battery and Performance are superb, camera is ok-good, i LOVE the design because it is not attractive (less attractive = less chances of being stolen).

  • The bitter truth about non removable battery was to steal ur data and informations. If u remove ur battery the phone won't run. But with the nonremovable batteries, they may make ur phone running on background to make use of every features of your phone to steal you

  • Can you like ... relax? Please and thank yoi

  • Okay, Im sorry. I was unaware of that. Nevermind.

  • @83662196 Well, that proved you wrong - again!

  • @83662196 You have made your point that you don't like Oneplus products. Now, GO AWAY and play somewhere else. You are boring!

  • And at least iPhones get updates for at least 5 years or longer. And OnePlus phones dont last because they barely get updates, maybe a few, but its not consistent like the iPhone, Essential phone, Nexus lineup, and Pixel lineup.

  • OnePlus has a long history of cheating off of the geekbench scores, plus the geekbench scores dont really make a difference to the actual user experience but okay. But I still say no one can replace Apple and Samsung. They are just too far ahead of the crowd when it comes to sales.

  • Are u kidding me? One plus 6 has surpassed both Iphone X and Samsung galaxy S9+ their top tier flagship phones in the speed and performance test. And thats what matters... Aside that, looks and feel is users preference, some might like iphone's looks, some might like samsungs and some might like one plus looks. The one and only thing One Plus falls short to iphone and samsung phones is the camera. But again, that doesnot mean it has a bad camera, with naked eye it is all the same. I challenge to have a bet of 1000$ with u. I'll show u 3 different images from samsung galaxy s9+, iphone x and one plus 6... all in the same lighting, same object and default settigns... i bet a 1000$ that u cannot distinguish until i tell u. Iphone and samsung phones get slow and laggy overtime which is not a unknown fact, customer complaint about it all the time On the contrary, One plus users complaint that to this day their One plus One phone has not slowed down a bit, so they r in dilemma wether to upgrade to one plus 3,3T,5,5T,6 or not. LOL See? in terms of performance, speed and longevity...One plus is the undisputed KING!!!

  • Eh, as much as I appreciate the effort OnePlus puts into their smartphones, they will never be better than Apple and Samsung by any means. Both companies are the Gods of the modern smartphone.

  • Its not lmao. The only TRUE competition is Samsung and no one can deny it

  • Its actually not, but okay. And also Samsung is better than OnePlus too.

  • The OnePlus 5 isnt faster than any iPhone. At all. Its probably faster than the iPhone 6s, but thats about it. The A10 Fusion chip and especially the A11 bionic kick butt in both benchmarks and gaming speeds and destroys practically all android phones.

  • iPhone SE if you want a compact phone with an excellent rear camera, and just want to save a little extra money. OnePlus 5 if you want a larger screen, and better battery life.

  • Probably not. Android P is more designed for phones like the OnePlus 6 — The Notch Clan.

  • I'd say the OnePlus 5, but if you like compact and powerful, then get the SE. Though my recommendation would be to either by the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact or the XZ3 that will later come in the year. If you don't like the designs, Pixel 3 will be the perfect phone for you when it comes out in October.

  • Does OP5 will get the Android P in future? Any Idea?

  • Of course 1+5

  • Should i go with oneplus 5 or iphone se?

  • Hi guyes plz guid me.i want buy one olus 5 and mate 9 pro .which phone is the best 4 camera and bettry..plz guid me

  • I also dont understand how could opo be better than Iphone? Ok,opo is fluid and smooth thanks to pure Oxygen UI.But thats just UI- u know that there are a plenty of android apps(on store) that are lagy by itself, the apps for android arent that strictly and professionaly worked for android as apps for iOS-apps for iOS(apple store) arent lagy like android apps,so despite OPO UI is fluid, instaled android apps wilk be lagy like on every other android phone.

  • thats true bruv xd

  • Had this phone since last year it does very well, the camera is impressive and battery is great. Nevertheless, the design looks a bit outdated, shabby and uninspiring. I given away my OnePlus 5 and upgraded to OnePlus 6, which is a huge improvement to its predecessors. I'd say OnePlus 5 is a good phone and can compete most flagships of last year and have served me well.

  • Don't use the default camera app,use this Get better results

  • This is gaming phone fellas,, if you want good camera and everything,, this is not for you,,

  • All specs is good but bezzel so big...screen size 5.5 and length 154....Not satisfiy..... 5.5 screen size and length 144 this is perfect size....

  • Discontinued mobile Shame one plus

  • want to buy this phone? btw please tell me the problem and better thing in this phone..such as battery, speed, camera .. thanks in advance..

  • Yeap, agreed best phone ever, I manage Oneplus 5 and it's amazing, really fast, smooth on every way, it's a beast

  • @mpcadus You have explained your own problem. You have an app that is trying to connect to the Internet but because you have turned Data & WiFi off off it cannot do that but keeps trying to connect all night long.

  • I have been using same set since September'17. There may be some problem in ur handset When i leave 80 precent battery when i sleep i find 4 or 5 percent decrease in morning.

  • I have been using OnePlus 5 since got launched. So close to one year now. Worked fantastic. Suddenly, battery started draining very fast... For ex: when I sleep it was 90% and when woke up in morning it's less than 5%, even with Data and wifi OFF. Any idea whether it is common... What should I do.

  • camera links to lenses and focus/zoom ; one plus use sony lense and focus upto 1.7. samsung/htc/lg uses only image up-gradation software to improve photo quality ;their camera as same as oneplus; lenses purchased from sony

  • If you want to find ois i suggest you choose other brand. Oneplus camera experience just normal. LG ,Samsung,HTC,Iphone has the best ois for content creator.

  • You still can see removable battery on LG V20. Unfortunately the battery life isn't great as oneplus 5.

  • Received Android Oreo 8.1.0, OxygenOS 5.1.1, & security level 1st April 2018 in the UK. Build number ONEPLUS A5000_23_180420

  • I have OnePlus 5 some time phone automaticly restarting Kindly suggest me?

  • More powerfull, faster than any iPhone and better battery life.

  • The non-removable battery is a USA Government initiative to prevent people from disabling the GPS, non-wire tapped device they have in their pocket. Facebook & NSA also wants to know everything you do, and removing the battery prevents this from happening. You have no rights anymore.

  • agreed. oneplus is the best phone. it is far better than iphone and every other phone. love u oneplus

  • How is better than an iphone?i am an iphone user and now want to switch to android.how this thing is better than iphone?

  • Oneplus Is the best phone in the World.i just love this Brand. That's amsing phone..I am 3/3t/5 user and now i am 5t user ..i just love it and 2018 best phone Oneplus 5t....

  • @SunTanner I remember the days of replacement batteries. The last phone I had that had that was my old Galaxy S5. I had a spare battery and a desktop charger and if I was away from home it was a case of 'cover off, battery out, new battery in, case on, and restart' which gave me 100% battery in less that a minute. Sadly, I don't think we will ever see those days again.

  • @Simisimi Why are you complaining about a Whatsapp problem on a Oneplus 5 forum? If you have a problem with WA then there are plenty of forums for that or even Whatsapp themselves.

  • Why still we did not receive latest security patch :(. Still running on Dec, 2017.

  • Guys I am.not able to search complete chat on Whatsapp could you please advise so earlier I was able to do but for last two weeks unable to search So for example if a chat contains message I want to go for walk It searches only I want not for complete one why so any solution

  • More revenue is now a given with the big boys sealing their batteries into the phone itself, so when the battery life ends ... so does the phone ... there are no spare batteries to purchase for the next gen designs; I'm thinking I may have to return to "olde school" - mode phones that have independent battery design in my next purchase. Any tips out there are gladly appreciated to aid my direction folks ;>)

  • I love any ONE PLUS King phone like 2014 and 2015 and 2016 and 2017 and 2018.......................

  • love it! so much better than an iphone

  • @Raj Go to Settings/WiFi/WiFi Preferences/Advanced and turn the option OFF.

  • The phone is good no dought better than any Mi, Honor or Chinese phones but it is still having lots of software issues which I think should be not there in this much costly Phone. Like some time phone hangs and one big problem in oneplus5 is that its wifi gets start itself after some interval of time every time. It's like when u forcefully want to keep ur wifi connection off, it will connect it by itself and make your phone online on many apps. this is on the big problem which I have never seen on any phone but 1+5 is having.

  • Nah... he was being sarcastic to the question

  • At least you'll get 5 hrs sot

  • Bcoz of market demand, peoples are moving to 18:9 ratio display compare to 16:9, but I like 16:9 ratio display. LED TV, camera, camcorder, laptop all are maximum using 16:9 ratio.

  • Yes , it's out of stock and discontinued.

  • Lol just ignore him..seem like his doesn't know anything about phone

  • i dont know why this phone discontinued? any thing wrong ?

  • Why oneplus 5 Discontinued????

  • How to use dual cam (back)

  • Anyone tell me,has not the phone basic video calling option???

  • In heavy using like gaming, browsing in mobile data, using youtube by mobile data how many hours it last,,please anyone tell me

  • are u serious?

  • Have you got mad..how is it possible to start a processor 2352..

  • can the app drawer be changed?

  • Would be good if not that poor display.

  • no.. is not , if u want the most powerfull oneplus buy oneplus 1 that is with the new procesor snapdragon 2532

  • Is this one better than the OP3

  • My brother's op3 had faced the same screen problem, it occurred spontaneously on its own. Even when consulted with oneplus care, they said its a hardware problem it could cost 7k. But to my surprise the oreo update fixed the issue, its the software problem not hardware's

  • Update 5.0.2 fixed those bugs is I've faced, but still some app crashes, hope next update will fix that

  • Use autoinput app to auto open the lock screen, op5 got official face unlock in 5.0.2 update

  • Oxygen os 5.0.1 has lot of bugs, me too faced it. Volte disconnects on its own, capacitive buttons n volume rockers fail to work and it needs reboot to get work properly. After the update 5.0.2 all the bugs are fixed. To update ur phone connect vpn to canada n update ur phone. Otherwise go to settings, turn off the sim used for internet connection then turn on again, volte n internet will start work

  • But 5 has the telephoto lens, often helps

  • I love oneplus and their features. Bt i have one problem thats they make only 5.5 display or higher.. why they don't make 5 inch or or less displays. I think others have same problem. Hard workers and many aisans (normally asians not chubby) can't haddle big screen than 5 inchs in onehand.. in bus train or walking.. hope oneplus next phne wil comming with also 5 inch display verson. then my next 4n and future will be oneplus❤️❤&#65039;❤️

  • Your comment doesn't make any sense buddy. Try Again

  • Since I purchased the most worthless phone after spending 32 Thousand 1.5.1 updates, after that 1.5.2 was updated and what should I say in the phone that the phone is full box?

  • @Skyler A year? It was only released in June 2017

  • I have had this phone a year now and it's the best phone I have had no issues great service and just everything is great and the company is super nice too I have used many phones😀

  • Try manual network search instead automatic ada select the proper provider of your simcard

  • Basically, this is the one baked by Android itself. The one on the 5T is from the OxygenOS itself. Still, waiting for it on the next update from OP.

  • my phone is not working after inserting sim cards and signals is accepted by phone but calling option is not working

  • To confirm that just reboot to safe mode and then check if it reboots...

  • @Chi chheda When that happens then 9 times out of 10 it is a rogue app causing an conflict with the OS.

  • One plus 5 is getting restart sometimes it's own. Any thing about this I can do please suggest

  • You don't require an antivirus on a open source platform... The antivirus for andriod is just a gimmick...

  • Bro oneplus 5 and the 5T have the same prices I guess... Anyways, if you like that 18:9 thing go for the 5T... 5T also has better low light photography as compared to oneplus 5...

  • where can buy this in ph? and how much would it be?

  • i hope one plus make phone with same specs but smaller (5.2'). 5.5' or 6' holding it in one hand is already a problem.

  • I got the 8GB/128GB version. The extra memory and storage are well worth the slightly higher price.

  • I updated my 5 to Oreo, over the weekend. It runs as fast/smooth as with the XXX NoLimits ROM I used for the past 6 months. I don't even feel the need to root my phone, anymore.

  • HI im about to buy a Oneplus 5 with a 128 GB variant however theres other offer Oneplus 5t i will just add another $160 for oneplus 5T 64 GB variant?. which one should i pick?. i have to decide until next 2 days

  • I did the update of my One plus 5 yesterday Monday 15th. Now when my data is on, after some times it just go off on its own and when i want to put it on again it is just DISABLE. Unless i restart my phone before it works again. Why is it like that?????

  • Thank you for your response. My question is that, in 1+5t your screen will directly on and go to the main page after face unlock while in 5 you have to unlock through swiping the screen after face unlock. So why it is not the same? I hope you get it what i am asking for. Thanks.

  • 6-7 hours

  • Hey guys I want to buy one plus 5. But I want to know about its battery life? How much screen on time?

  • Please tell me it's it necessary for to keep Antivirus if yes then please tell me which Antivirus should I keep for one plus 5t some times when I go on the net my phone is getting slow taking time for to open it please give me your advice.

  • @Nazeef Agha I don't understand your question. Are you asking why the 1+5 has face unlock? If so, then it is just another security option to unlock your phone. If you mis-typed and asked why it doesn't have face unlock then go to Settings\Security & lock screen\Smart lock to find it.

  • Hi Guyz, I am from Pakistan. I am using 1+5 from last 3 months and vv much satisfied with the phone in every manner. Recently, I've updated it on Oreo version 8.0.0...build no is A5000_23_180103 officially. But there is face unlock feature like 1+5t have. Why????

  • they dont have the same camera :) check your information first

  • @Ashwin333Ashwin 1) Delays connecting your calls denotes a problem with your supplier, not the phone. 2) Chrome is well known for the problems it causes. I, like many others, stopped using that app years a go! 3) I can't comment on the camera problem because mine works perfectly fine. 4) All my apps work fine, so I can only suggest that the ones that are crashing haven't been optimised to work on Oreo yet. It's easy to blame the phone when things go wrong but isn't always the cause.

  • Hi, Below are the bugs in my phone. I am from India.. My phone running on Oreo version 8.0.0...build no is A5000_23_180103..oxygen os version 5.0.1 * while calling someone, it takes around 10 to 15 seconds to connect a call. It simply shows dialing and waiting for around 10 to 15 seconds. , chrome is crashing frequently. * Camera also is getting hanged sometimes. * Even some apps are force closing automatically.

  • But screen resolution is not sure

  • Both have same camera

  • Go for one plus 5

  • Yes I got it it will be 1587 mb

  • Go for 0ne plus 5 better than Samsung phones

  • Oreo working fine...

  • @Ashwin333Ashwin Also, list all the so called bugs you have found... IF you actually have Oreo (which I very much doubt).

  • @Ashwin333Ashwin Android 8.0 (Oreo) is working faultlessly on my 1+5. In fact, it runs a lot smoother and a LOT faster since the install. Every inbuilt app and every 3rd party app run perfectly. If you are having problems then it is something you have done wrong because I haven't experienced ANY problems.

  • Oreo update full of bugs :(... Please do not download guyz

  • Android 8.0 (Oreo) & Oxygen 5.0.1 arrived in the UK this morning. Security Level 01.12.2017 Build No. A5000_23_180103 It's a 1587Mb download.

  • which one, galaxy a5 2017, moto x4 or oneplus 5?

  • Sony! With its steady shot algorithms.

  • No OnePlus 5 has EIS, I believe OnePlus 3T will be the last OnePlus phone to have OIS. OnePlus 5/5T uses EIS because of how cost effective it is than the 3/3T. But then OnePlus 5 is $70 more expensive than OnePlus 3T, it really depends on your preference and budget. I'd recommend OnePlus 3T if you can find one.

  • Does the camera have OIS?

  • OnePlus5 200% recommended! Super!!

  • Don't worry about it. I got it and it was full of bugs. Let's be patient and have a proper version installed. :)

  • It's not about paranoid, basically this is for sensible persons which seems you are not and we also know that all social media like WhatsApp, Twit, FaceBook etc. will be collecting our data surely, point is that we should think about it and raise point at any forum. Thanx

  • I didn't get Oreo update in my one plus 5

  • Thank you..got ore update....oprra vpn..,:)

  • Thank you ...got it ,😁

  • Thanks for the Oreo uppdate, its` greate. Use (fre) OperaVPN, point to Germany and your on it.

  • u can use vpn to get oreo ota earlier :)

  • When oreo update starts in india....????

  • OP5 all the way.

  • OnePlus 5, 100% recommended!

  • Guys I need your help. Huawei P10 or OnePlus 5?

  • Which has better camera..OP5 or OP5T ??

  • if only oneplus make phone with 5-5.2' size with almost same specs i would buy it. i dont like 5.5-6' way to big for me

  • Bro local parts are always available cheap... They are not made by the brand so they're cheap... Whether the company is apple or samsung, the case is same with all...

  • I am posting it here as most who buy online refer GSM ARENA for mobiles atleast. One Plus is moderately costly brand , and here is the truth. Like most of big brands it has too outsourced its after sale service and have no direct office locally. The phone reported charging issues in few months and being android consumption of battery hugely is obvious. Now another common issue, lower portion of touch stops working. Pathetic , i went with my One Plus One whose lower touch stopped working. I found it a common problem on internet forums. Reached Auth Service center, waited till they are over with their lunch holding my Token. Atlast they said , parts not available, throw the phone, cant help. They gave me cost of the parts 7000. I went to Chandni and got it repaired @2000/-, its working fine now. But i wont blame service center, I will blame the company, One Plus. really pathetic. Madan Street are saviour of Iphone and costly phones. May be it will help my friends till these companies keeps cheating people.

  • Even some apps are detected doing that... Here in India, people who are in army, are restricted to use apps like share it, MI store, UC browser and a bunch of other apps...

  • It has rolled out a fix, now there's an option called "User experience program", if you switch that off, no data will be collected...

  • No need to change anything... 4K support is available right out of the box...

  • Oneplus is doing a decent job even with EIS, not as good as Google but definitely usable...

  • Every phone manufacturer is doing the same thing:

  • @amj If anyone else is as paranoid as you then all they have to do is go to Settings/Advanced and switch OFF the option 'Join user experience program'. It doesn't bother me because I have nothing to hide, but it certainly sounds as if you have.

  • No doubt few mobile phone companies r collecting ur mobile data like ur personal information, activities like ur locations where you went, contact nos etc. even many popular brands r doing this practice which is illegal and prohibited. Recently, it has been observed by the security researchers that OnePlus smart phone is running on Oxygen Operating system, which regularly collects user identification information and sends it to OnePlus servers located outside your respective country and might be possible gives to intelligence agencies. OnePlus collects the following user data; 1-User’s phone number. 2-Users movement. 3-Media Access Control (MAC) Address. 4-IMEI and IMSI Code. 5-Mobile Network(s) names. 6-Wireless network ESSID and BSSID. 7-Device Serial Number. 8-Timestamp when a user locks or unlocks the device. 9-Timestamp when a user opens and closes an application on this phone. 9-Timestamp when a user turns his phone screen on or off. It is advised that please avoid using this brand or in order to disable data collecting practice.

  • Sooriammu 4k supported 1080p 60fps great phone almost perfect

  • Sooriammu yes 4k supported

  • hard to explain... These phones are about equal in terms of fotos. The iphone 7 has IP rating, not the oneplus 5T. But the oneplus 5T is faster in every level and plays gamer smoother. IOS is nice but i like the diversity of android. I've gone with the oneplus 5T and never regret since. Gotta love that screen and it's beast performance. Not even once it crashed or hiccup'd. Its butter smooth. We only complain about the cameras but what we forget, it's a 500$ phone and we just can't have the same quality pictures result of higher priced smartphones which have OIS. But still, for 500$ it's one heck of a masterpiece.

  • yes but you have to root and change some seetings in build. file

  • Does one plus 5 supports 4k video

  • Google has great camera algorithms for their phones. Tell me another phone that has succeeded with only EIS like Google. Oneplus 5 would have been great with OIS.

  • Latest update arrived in the UK yesterday. Build No. is now ONEPLUS A5000_23_171205 Android security patch level 1 October 2017

  • Other companies are no different. A few years ago I purchased a Samsung S5 which failed after 4 months; it wouldn't make or receive calls/texts, and every time I reset the phone a message appeared 'No network available' (I learned that it was an antenna failure which was a common problem on that phone). I sent the phone off to Samsung's repair centre and it was returned with the same problem. I contacted Samsung and told them that as they were unable to repair the phone then they were obliged to replace it under their 24 month warranty. Samsung stopped talking to me at that point and I have never purchased a Samsung phone since.

  • worst phone company i have dealt with. the phones touch screen stopped working after 6 months of having the phone which has never been dropped or water damaged. the support staff kept telling me to do a hard reset when i mentioned countless times that you need a working touchscreen to do this. the phone was then approved after 3 days of their staff telling me to do a reset. i requested my phone data not to be wiped as it had important photos of my son on there. i have not had an appology for this matter and keep being disregarded when speaking to customer service. i will never buy a oneplus again and advise everyone to stay well away. huwawei, samsung and google pixel will be my choices in the future. NEVER SETTLE - should change this to settle for will junk

  • Bro only these 3 things are missing in the phone... Yeah, OIS would always be better than EIS but google also used EIS in their previous flagship and it was great for them... And to be honest, you don't require the IP rating unless you live somewhere where it snows or rains frequently...

  • Electric image stabilization is sh¡t mate, OnePlus using planned obsolescence strategy to lure customers to buy their products without thinking. It's like the whole mobile tech industry following New World Order or something and expect us to buy their phones with dumb 18.9 ratio screen, EIS, no IP rating etc...

  • Its not exactly better than OIS but on par with OIS...

  • It's the EIS because the camera will shake no matter what, and people say its better than OIS.

  • Its not about good or bad, the only thing is the oneplus 5 has a telephoto lens, which helps to zoom 2x... The oneplus 5T is infact good in low lighting...

  • daylight photos of 5t come really not well , potrait is hit or miss but low light when we zoom in oil paint effect is really bad

  • The front camera of 5T takes very blurry and shaked photos everytime!! Please fix this! The selfies are shaked without shaking my hands also!!! If i need to take a good selfie,I should hold my phone like a robot! If i take 50 selfies, more than 35selfies are shaked..it looks awful!!! Even this has a fixed focus camera, Blured the background of the selfies so much...we can't take a group Selfie because of that... Please fix this issue!!!! Even my iphone 6 ,front camera photos are even better than this!! very disappointed

  • Where the pros of OnePlus 5 camera than OnePlus 5T ?? Why OP5T is not good camera ?

  • Which is better iphone 7 or OP5t

  • If you want to good camera, buy 5.

  • If you want more battery lasting get the 5, if you want bigger display with bigger resolution get the 5T, in hard use(pretty hard) the differense is about 20 minutes, on standby check the specs... Aaaand i thing is that, and yea the price. Now is up to you what you will choose.

  • What should i buy and choose between OnePlus 5 or This OnePlus 5T. Which one is more better ???

  • I think so

  • op5

  • Indeed OP5 looks better than 5T.

  • 5 is better than 5t.. expecting more from 6

  • I just bought one plus 5t . I sold my OnePlus 5 at very good price since it was 20 days old. I payed only 2000 bugs extra to get my OnePlus 5T. Was so much happy. But after using two days, I would say this phone is a downgrade , not a upgrade if you are exchanging with OnePlus 5.

  • Because they updated it with the oneplus 5t

  • I want to ask you one question, why OnePlus company discontinued The OnePlus 5 . Waht the reasons ? Can anybody explain it to me . Please ??

  • I have been searching for a Device after my 7 years old Nokia N8. After short listing, My choices were S8 and OP5. Finally i chose OP5 simply because of value for money. Brilliant build quality. Good quality photos. Depth effect works like a charm given that required lux level is present. Amazingly fast charging with dash. 8GB RAM is a overkill, damn fast. Not cared about water proofing, if at all a Tsunami hits me. Fast finger print scanner is also a plus. And i'm a FAN of front mounted finger print scanner.

  • Samsung S8 is the equivialent model and probably the better choice. S7 is last years model.

  • Definitely, and even Android P if not farther too.

  • If you don't care about the waterproof design then definitely the Oneplus 5, no brainer.

  • If there's a service centre in your city then oneplus rocks... Oneplus's software is much more smart, light and precise... I hate touchwiz... Using a galaxy S7 personally and coming from a oneplus 3, I would never recommend samsung to anyone any further...

  • go for s7 edge.... a smartphone is not only based on its speed.. think in every way

  • which one should i buy samsung s7 edge or oneplus5 ?

  • It's a terrible phone the OnePlus5. I have WIFI connectivity problems sind i bought this phone. OnPlus5 did repare the phone for 3 times and still have WIFI connectivity problems. Last time they replaced the motherboard. Still problems. Do not buy this phone !!!

  • First of all get your brains out and study what does an x reality engine does... It only enhances the colours and makes images saturated, so that they appear good, it has no role in preserving the images... And once saved the image remains as it is, if it would degrade then the size of the image would also degrade... And the image degradation happens in google drive, after a few years, it starts compressing the images and that degrades the quality... When you have half knowledge you shouldn't speak rubbish...

  • snapdragon 835 with 6gb ram. it is 3300 mah but with a dash charger. what else do you need in 2017?

  • long live XDA :D

  • R.I.P. OP5 June 2017 - November 2017 What a short-lived phone

  • Absolutely OP5 in every aspect possible ! You just can't compare a mid range phone with a high end one.

  • Shareit and other file transfering app not working with this one plus 5 mobile.can someone please guide me ? Or any other solution.

  • Does anyone here , knows which better performance between sony xa1plus and OP5?? Need ur advice guys thank you!!!

  • Is stopped the produion of this phone, due to 5T

  • No phone will please you as this does and mainly the depth effect mode in camera gives you amazing pics as if they were taken on DSLR.

  • My OP5 lasts twice the time my former OP2 did ... By far better than so many devices at a higher price !

  • This phone may be good in some aspects but bad in some aspects 1. The sim no is not able to read when we make call and receive the call. The number is found to be not able to read or identify 2. We are not able select the call logs to delete some calls and retain some calls 3. There is no option to transfer the message to email or what’s app 4. The call quality is not adequate 5, The letters in the desktop is very small and very difficult to read 6. I have made several settings but each time the result the same The above mentioned items basic for a mobile. I do not know how the reviews are made that it is a excellent and best phone.

  • It's a great phone but why the battery is so small only 3300?

  • Because you blind, without image processing engine. Image will degrade faster than storing it in external USB drive.

  • Why on earth would it degrade?

  • one of the best phone I had. Fast, full of features and slimmer than the top phones in the market. Perfect economical alternative to top models of iPhone and Samsung!

  • Do images degrade overtime while taking photos on Oneplus 5, just wondering because Sony flagship phones has something called X-reality engine which maintains image quality.

  • There was already a beta version of android oreo leaked for the OP5 and the oneplus 3T has oreo already, so you can expect oreo for OP5 very soon, definitely before the end of the year. Do your research before you post comments like this, because Oneplus is one of the fastest to release new software. Samsung for example didnt anounce anything as for an oreo update for the Note 8. And as for security patches I have OP5 for like 2 months and already updated software like 3 times.

  • Mention a phone, apart from the nexus and pixel which have got the andriod oreo update?

  • Oppo's software is very restricted and ugly... None of the launchers work with oppo... The hardware that the provide for the price is bad and their boasting factors the camera, doesn't seem great too... There's no point buying oppo... Least recommended...

  • Not so fast software updates compared to other vendors, still in Nougat(7.1.1) while Android Oreo released on Aug-21, it's nearly 3 months but no update released yet. Security patches are also slow still at September-1 patch.

  • AMAZING phone awesome camera good specs everything was awesome and the price as well in such price so many features .

  • i did not use vivo, but i use oppo and is my secondary device, i recomand, is good reliable battery last long dipend on the model, xiaomi is good olso my wife has one so olso, recomended, but i think the future is Oneplus, xiaomi oppo, samsong, is ok...cheers

  • people i need your help, i have this product in uk i try many time to put from my bank the app and is not working mention my bank is barclays, and i use other programs similar to this one and he give me an eror, the program works fine on spare phone other phone other brand...can any one advise me what to do?? i need does programs, cheers guys

  • I don't think so... Oneplus 3 also had the same scanner, I used it for about 9 months and no problem... Only sometimes when my fingers used to get patchy then it didn't used to recognize, but re-registering the fingerprint always solved the problem...

  • It will get oreo and P

  • Every andriod version introduces some features, more privacy etc...

  • In terms of stablity, oneplus>redmi>samsung... Don't even consider oppo and vivo... In terms of camera, Samsung>oneplus>redmi Future updates, oneplus>samsung>redmi Reliability, oneplus=samsung>redmi

  • Near about 53gb...

  • A lot of device for the money and NO glass on the back. Only question mark for me is the battery life with the 6 inch screen. 4000 mAh would've been perfect.

  • They say internal memory 64 gb but after buying how much memory user gets

  • One plus 5

  • Which is better ?? One plus 5 Vivo Oppo Redmi Samsung

  • They say internal memory 64 gb but exactly how much memory user gets.

  • What differnce does it make

  • OnePlus5, Can upgrade Android 8.0 (Oreo)?

  • could not access slide show for my pictures. any suggestions?

  • They say intetnal memory 64 gb but what the exact memory user gets after buying this one plus 5 phone

  • what is the model number of this phone ?

  • The phone is great I like most of the features. But oneplus could have given a better dual camera. Hope that oneplus 5t will be better in every way especially the camera. A company like oneplus can give better cameras like other smartphone companies.

  • @Antonio I was trying to alert other users to the fact that this phone seems to have a problem with the fingerprint scanner. If you had bothered to do a Google search (instead of writing sarcastic comments) then you would have found out that the problem is not uncommon with this phone.

  • infrared 😁

  • Oh no! You had to key in a code?! Must have worked up quite a sweat! Lmao!

  • Beautiful build quality, amazing speed and unreal photo quality. Also got it real cheap during Diwali sale. Thank you OnePlus .

  • i have read on trusted review.com that the wifi connection on one plus 5 is poor it loses connection from time to time ! does anyone can comment on this ? is it a problem of the modem ? or a problem with the carrier ?

  • Does anyone know if this phone (1+5) work on Kia sportage GT; autocharge ? As Samsung s8 charges automatically , this is the only thing am looking for, oneplus beats in all the rest for me , much appreciate if you share this tit bit , cheers

  • I've had my Oneplus 5 for five months now and sadly the fingerprint scanner is already proving faulty. It only recognises my fingerprint 50% of the time and I'm forced to enter the PIN number to open the phone. I've deleted my fingerprint three times and re-entered it but it still fails half the time.

  • -one of the best cams -pretty sleak and good to have in hand -looks cool -simple tweaks to OxygenOS, makes it great. -no competition to the price point

  • Beautiful build quality, amazing speed and unreal photo quality. Also got it real cheap during Diwali sale. Thank you OnePlus .

  • op is a best, but oppo is ok, s8 and mate, i use, and i have a lot of problems, so op5 is my primary phone, no more crap...cheers

  • CPU camera performance everything is very good good job one plus

  • I was thinking this 3 phone to buy which us better op5, S8plus or mate 10

  • What is an Apple, only a branded name

  • "Dont think about it just buy" LOL, this is not Apple, relax. :]

  • Awesome product i have ever seen. Evrything awesome especially camera and fast charging. Very fast processor. Worth evrything

  • There are techy reviews on YouTube and they are unable to find the cost of this device justified considering previous versions. I recommend all, the device is far ahead than Moto's. Samsung and other brands

  • When we press recent button to see recent applications, for eg whatsapp, all the data inside the app can also be seen. All private chats are visible in thecrecent app tray. Even after setting app lock to the application. All the private data can be seen ( like recent whatsapp chat, recent photos clicked or viewed) a very big disadvantage for users

  • OP5 better in everything. only reasonable advantage of nokia 8 is having an SD slot and qhd resolution and that's it. performance, ram, speed, camera, gaming exp all goes to OP5. speed and ram management is a big advantage. the 8 tends to reload big apps in background while OP5 keeps it. tried to test both phones are i was in the same dilemma as you. in the end, i chose OP5. it also has a better feel in my hand. try to test both phones and see what best fits your personality and preferences.

  • Care to provide evidence of this claim? Even with few batteries exploding, you have to consider the number of sold units. With 10 faulty units out of millions sold, this doesn't really hold weight. Also it could have been fault of the user mishandling the device, we don't know the specifics. As far as I know Samsung and Apple had similar issue as well, and both are still trusted brand for many...sensing some sort of double standard here...

  • Gets fully changed with in one hour, no heating, no lag, very smooth touch, fine camera, quick response, all in all very good phone.

  • As a one plus user am ok with all the specifications excepts selfie..for the past 2 years am a one plus x user selfie was awesome Dan anyother phone..OP5 rear camera is ultimate..n performance wise it is excellent!!

  • what? since when is the performance same as redmi note 4? this phone eats redmi note 4 in every aspect of it

  • Never trust or buy from Xiaomi. Their phone batteries explode just like Redmi Note 4 and they will not replace them.

  • Battery Capacity, SD card expansion slot, unlocked bootloader, Google Camera support, microUSB

  • I don't see the point in you trying to compare a mid range phone with a flagship. As far as i know, op5 out run redmi note 4 in every aspect. Educate me if I'm missing something out.

  • True, but not on every front.

  • Yeah but not everyone is looking to get the top variant. They should've included sd card slot in it.

  • No man op5 is way faster and enhanced than redmi note 4. Redmi note 4 is good for people who wants performance but don't want to spend that extra amount. However, op5 smokes redmi note 4 by large margin.

  • Fantastic Phone. But I think at 33000 it's overpriced... I would recommend one should do a thorough comparison with other Chinese equivalents which may be offering lower price. I would like to be proved wrong that this is overpriced...

  • got a perfect mobile i want. Features are amazing Thanx for such a amazing mobile. I love it

  • this is the worst phone I have ever seen. no basic video calling option, performance just equal to Redmi Note 4 which otherwise is at 3 times lesser price. just average phone with no extra specifications . Wastage of money Don't buy it. I sold it within 5 days times, I could not return it because Amazon didn't accept the reason of return. y suggestion is If you have hard earned money don't buy it.

  • I have a Oneplus 5 and i love it. I would say best phone for the price. Still have 70% after one day of useage (8 hours since it was charged last). It is a super fast phone and the camera is really good for the price. I highly rekomend the OP5

  • Learn what you are talking about! The 5T has the Home button/Fingerprint scanner moved to the back of the phone to reduce the size of the bezels.

  • I'm little bit confused between NOKIA 8 n ONE PLUS 5....Nokia user or oneplus 5 can suggest me which mobile to buy?...Which mobile will be preferrable regarding performance, camera, battery and lots more feature?..Please guide me

  • Awesome One....

  • best! it should be better than the upcoming 5t as it has home button.

  • The best smartphone available at that price . Dont think about it just buy

  • Your question is irrelevant. SD cards were used when phones had a tiny internal memory. Now that phones have 64Gb+ memory then the need for a SD card becomes unnecessary.

  • Mast h Nice camera wt I love d most

  • Awesome one... Go for it... Worth of money. Camera and performance is excellent. Pretty excited with this one. Buy a back cover with it. Or else the back portion gets scratch easily.

  • did you try rooting the phone?

  • @Anonymous Another nail in the coffin is that Microsoft hold the patent for the SD card slot, so that any manufacturer that uses one on their phone has to pay MS a royalty for every one they build.

  • SD card slot are now obselete, those were the days when SD cards were useful if you had a rooted device so you can move large games or apps to external SD card via Link2SD app by freeing up internal storage tricking the phone the app is in internal when it's not, btw once you remove the SD card, your phone internal space is messed up forever. 128gb internal is more than enough.

  • @Kyu SD Cards - I remember them. Slow read, Slow write, often get corrupted so they don't work for long. Slow the rest of the phone down to a crawl. Good old days (NOT!).

  • this phone sar 1.24 its very high .

  • u r right bro this phone is good but if u r looking overall performance g6 is better

  • i have lg g6 .my brother having oneplus 5.but in terms of camera battery and perfomance my g6 is much better as compair to that one

  • Well... Flagship without SD Slot aint worth it...

  • Well done, good performance

  • own this unit last month. snappy, buttery smooth! worth the money!

  • Best one

  • I brought 1+5 phone on August one of my best ever I used in my lifetime Great in build quality of camera,Quick fingerprint sensor,App response very fast,Battery quite good for normal user

  • Yes, it's the best phone no-one can buy (other than in India) since they have no stock and are only making the upcoming 5T (that should launch very soon).

  • I agree with you oneplus5 is an amazing phone.

  • Thank you my love

  • camera is awesome that too depth effect is good

  • Best Features : Design : Very Light and Sleek Camera : One of the best camera (Pro mode , Portrait mode etc , awesome images) Worth Buying if you are looking for a phone with good camera specs, design and light weight. Also Dual sim.

  • Neither does the iPhone. Because OnePlus 5 is basically the Android version of the iPhone 7 Plus, just one difference, that it has a headphone jack.

  • He is talking about OnePlus 5T

  • Not everyone wants to spend $500 on a phone.

  • You never know, that could be useful sometime in the future.

  • Samsung phones have multiple versions of phones for different regions, like different specifications, but OnePlus 5 is the exact same in every region.

  • What discrimination?

  • OnePlus 5

  • Mi2 v/s One Plus 5 Which Is Better...........

  • hell yeah great phone it has no discrimination like samsung has fuckin samsung why us version processor is better than asian one but one plus 5 has no such discrimination

  • Go for mate 10 if you want earphone jack

  • Amazong product. Nice camera, super fast to access. Everything pretty sorted. Portrait mode works really great. Overall exp - very happy.

  • superrrbbbb with depth effect camera like DSLR and battery performance is amazing....SLIM ....and awsmmm phone

  • why does somone needs 8GB of RAM ?! -_-

  • ya,oneplus is the best, compare with others brand snapdragon 625 440EUR....lol,and also i like the design oneplus 5,even that is not18:9 design

  • OnePlus phones normally have their price steady, you can only wait for a successor, and the OnePlus 5T is right around the corner.

  • If they are the same price, definetly exclude the xa1 ultra because it is a lower mid range phone and nowhere near those flagships. I personally don't like Huawei's UI so I would probably go with OP5.

  • better value for money: back in the day yes, today you can't say for sure better phone: definetly no

  • is the oneplus 5 good

  • Why not wait for Oneplus 5T?

  • Go one plus 5

  • One of the best phones, better than samsung and apple

  • Been using OnePlus 5 from 15 days, best performance among any other phone in the market right now. A little behind than iPhone for camera. Sound is great. This truly is a flagship killer.

  • I can't decide between OP5, Sony Xperia xa1 Ultra and Huawei M10 Pro which one is better overall? I love Huawei (great full screen great battery and performance which are the most important to me BUT NO EARJACK THE FOOLS!!!)

  • Should I or Shouldn't I? Oneplus 5 was like the android version of iPhone and I would love to have one now

  • Should I buy now oneplus 5 or wait for price drop

  • Incredible Phone. Amazing features and the light weight. Though I would have preferred that should have MADE IN INDIA label.

  • The fastest Android I've ever got! No lags, perfect camera with awesome zoom, launches app faster than any android, a perfect combination of hardware with software tweaked with bloatless Oxygen OS.

  • You are best One plus "" what you achieve from 2 years no one achieve till yet keep doing like this but dont copy Apple you have own unique identity(Love) #gk

  • Wonderful Product.no looking back in terms of pricing, quality & performance. GREAT

  • Thank You!

  • One plus 5 RS 33000/ Galaxy S8 Rs 66000/.. Performance are same.

  • I am a mobile geek.... I would say it's Super Duper Fludic...Ulitimate camera.... Crispy speakers....best mobile.... All the specs are more sound than pixel 2 and Nokia 8..... Its a killer mobile........

  • i think s8

  • One plus 5

  • Which has a better second hand market? 01. ONEPLUS 5 02. Samsung Galaxy S8+

  • What is best LG G6 or one plus 5

  • Pre-orders of OnePlus 5T started. Some prominent changes in specifications, 6" Quad full HD screen, 18:9 aspect ratio, Improved dual camera of 20*16 MP rear, 16 MP front and 3450 mAH battery, weight 164 gms, price $ 549(Rs 35550) and rest specifications same as OP 5. Appears to be a complete package but all depends on its performance.

  • Yep, got mine in Digital Walker. Local warranties are supported as well. Great buy!

  • oh and.. ever had your phone fried before? GL recovering your data without a card.

  • rubbish you say? Phones do not need to be 'sealed' to be waterproof, look at any number of phones over the past 3 years with sd cards that have ip and even mil-spec standards. while I agree that said cards may be somewhat slower than direct phone to PC comms, they're the best way to expand your storage without pausing in the middle of whatever you're doing to upload everything to the cloud (assuming you're somewhere with good signal or that you can pause without screwing the moment) or simply running out of room and causing your phone to act poorly for lack of space. When it comes down to it phones nowadays do more than the vast majority will ever need, excepting the simple things.. battery, storage, camera, visually appealing interface. If you don't want to spend the extra 3 minutes waiting for things to transfer from a card to computer instead of device to computer, you have bigger issues in your life than phone specs.

  • No, in fact it's the opposite. OnePlus 5 at launch was $479 and the OnePlus 5T at launch will be $500.

  • Is there a possibility that OP5T will cost lesser than OP5? Thanks

  • You are talking rubbish. 1) The phone has to be sealed to make it waterproof. 2) Every phone manufacturer is moving away from SD cards, they are too slow for modern processors and slow it down. 3) The only people who want SD cards are the ones who download lots of porn films.

  • ...or a removable battery... ...I could go on...

  • it doesn't have a micro SD card slot, for starters.

  • I have it, use it, primary phone, secondary phone from work oppo f1f, O 2 sell it in UK... cheers

  • Lol...do you really use OnePlus 5? Or even saw it?

  • This phone has everything. Price is the only factor that you might feel bad about. Otherwise, it is everything you will ever look into a smartphone.

  • Yes, but the downside is there will be no capacitive keys meaning we'll have to use on screen buttons, bear in mind I don't like Android Oreo navbar.

  • There is a lot of talk of Oneplus 5T having the fingerprint scanner moved to the back due to the 18:9 tall screen. Does that mean the only way to unlock the phone is by picking it up?

  • It is not a serious matter and when you get update it would be clear with no issue. Also it is not about all one plus 5, just some of them have got an issue such called "jelly". over all nothing serious and it won't effect phone's performance.

  • i had this phone for around 3 months now, the "Jelly Effect" is present but i really don't notice it all the time, or i can say i don't care about it, at first i thought it was some feature in the phone until i saw some people complaining about it. it's really not annoying at all, perhaps you can say it's not noticeable when you get used to it, not like what they say in the reviews.

  • I really like this phone and I am planning to buy it for a while now but I am afraid because of all these reviews saying that a downside is the *jelly* thing. For those who have purchased the phone I would appreciate it if you could kindly let me know if the jelly is noticable or not. Thanks in advance!

  • What a phone! Look and finish is very nice. Phone performance is amazing. Unbeatable specification at this price.

  • Real beast, feels premium. Super fast processing, very fluent. Camera is awesome but lacks optical image stabilization. Overall a perfect phone in this

  • What happened?

  • Oneplus 5 has a lazy design, I don't understand why Oneplus would hire someone to copy the iPhone 7+. I get that R&D would cost huge amount for development and the phone will be expensive but Oneplus 5 was made from old scrap parts from Oppo R11, no joke. Oneplus needs to build a flagship, not a killer if they want to compete with other brands. Now they're going to copy Samsung galaxy S8 bezelless display on Oneplus 5T. The sandstone on OP1/OP2 looked more visually unique. I don't like the curved sleek design on Oneplus 5 feels like an amateur iPhone clone. This thing is well overpriced in Europe compared to Oppo R11 and should be worth under €400.

  • Have tried checking Digital Walker? They have physical stores in Trinoma, Megamall, etc. They are showcasing Oneplus 5.

  • I would not like to buy one plus products ,again worst product ever

  • How about no , It will boot loop in 6 months time just like the other 3 LG phones I had . LG quality is crap

  • I'm using one plus 5 for several weeks mostly for YouTube videos: 1. The phone is nice and slim, but veery slippery! 2. Very fast, no heating or lags 3. Holding the phone in portrait mode I usually cover speaker, that's bad 4. The same for antennas. I feel because antennas on the sides, wifi signal drops holding in portrait mode. Wifi is better than on iPhone but worse than lg 5. Camera's portrait mode sometimes misses and parts of the pictures are in focus when should be blurred and vice versa 6. Battery life looks solid. Can hold up to 6 days with minimal usage (wifi only) 7. The most annoying thing - volume button is directly opposite to power button, and when you try to adjust volume you squeeze the phone and turn off the screen by pressing on power button!!! Hate this!! Nick

  • I'mm a mobile geek.... I would say it's Super Duper Fludic...Ulitimate camera.... Crispy speakers....best mobile.... All the specs are more sound than pixel 2 and Nokia 8..... Its a killer mobile........

  • Its good device.but lg g6 is much better device.

  • 5T by Dec 256 8Gb launch by Christmas, prices definitely increase, as others have crossed a thousand bucks many.

  • I'll wait for oneplus 5T/ 6...we'll see the price expensive or cheap than other flagship device

  • But it's AMOLED considering the price

  • Is this will be up-gradable to OREO ( Android 8) can anyone please let me know... Thanks Mera.

  • I wonder why Oppo (Parent Organization of OnePlus) is found in every mall and tech centers in the Philippines (and I assume the same for other countries as well). But OnePlus retailers are not too visible in my country (most are found in NCR and online shops). :( If OnePlus was here, I should have bought OnePlus 5. Watching and reading reviews, OnePlus 5 is a great smartphone and worth the money.

  • Looks like 5T or 6 is coming out soon.. Bezel-less. If so, then will wait for the Bezel-less screen. Was going for Mi Mix 2 or other brand. Bezel-less & 18:9 ratio will be the new standard.

  • lg g6 is much better device as compare to this one

  • display quality is very poor.it should be atleast quad hd dislpay.no water resitant.

  • Really deserves the tag 'FLAGSHIP'... Awesome performance and the best part of the phone is its battery life and the speed at which it charges up... Dash charging is something unique of its kind.. Loving this beast from day1

  • This should has been called flag ship killer, had this been equipped with better display and water resistance features. Otherwise, the handset is very good , especially it's operating system, Oxygen. If one is contemplating to buy a handset in 30k range you can go for it. Nothing is better than this in this range except the display.

  • very good mobile for it's rate,a good and fast response even at multitasking time, Good rear camera and potrait mode is awesome. But front camera 3T model it looks good ,But in 5 its k only. Slim model & waitless.

  • it is not a rumor, it's true! the news is even on this very website. but I wouldnt worry much about it if I were you. To begin with, ALL companies do this but in different ways, if you think they don't you are just in utterly denial. the thing is that Oneplus didn't exactly conceal it as it should, people find out and an outrage began, the company made a statement clarifiying that they do did with your "consent" and that you can deactive it on settings. that "User Agreement" MUST people dont bother to read even a single sentence? well it's there!!! and again I woudnt worry soo much if I were you because of all them do these with the excuse that it helps improve the user experience. also unless you are a high profile person with MANY TOP SECRETS I wouldnt care much, I have my OP5 for 2 months and everything is in order.

  • Awesome...flagship killer

  • where did you hear this news? could you please let us know...

  • Exvellent phone...using it for a month now .no issues faced .battery backup ,quick charge are great.

  • I Am hearing the rumor in the market that the persona l data are leaking to the chinees govt is it true?,what is the security about the personal data? can you give me the clarification

  • I have been using phone since 1 July.It has been 4 months with OnePlus 5.And i would rather best smartphone in all terms.Just equal to a Flagship Smartphone

  • Dose oneplus 5 have a led flash I front camera..What is the performance I low light of front camera

  • What will Oneplus 5T look like based on rumours it'll have edge to edge display, is this true? Tell me this is not happening?

  • is it available in south africa

  • probably you'll get op5t at that time

  • I've been using a phone with 1 GB ram for more than 3 years now. 6GB & 8 GB doesnt show very significant difference in daily use i guess u can do the math now

  • I'm planning to buy OnePlus 5 next year by January, but I'm a little bet concerned on OnePlus customer service here in Philippines. I'm from Visayas, specifically in Leyte is there any customer service for OnePlus nearby? in Cebu, City?

  • Points to buy : Back Camera, Fingerprint scanner, can open heavy applications easily, Battery life is very good ( charging for 30 mins in morning is sufficient), Speaker, Screen colors and premium phone feel.

  • me have service center here in ph

  • 6 GB Ram enough for everything

  • I bought OnePlusX two years back. My phone's display has got broken, the company says the model has been discontinued and display was not available even in Mumbai ! I don't know what to do. Anyone faced the same problem ?

  • 6gb ram

  • Which one I have to choose either 6gb ram or 8gb ram to use for 3 years

  • It's the beast.. I don't think there is any other mobile which can stand to compete against this beast.. Worth buying.. Power+ storage

  • The Phone looks, design and the Specifications are really good and fulfills all the requirement which is normally expected from the Smart phone. I have to say the Excellent Camera quality and the DASH charging facility of this phone are really making me to fall in love with this phone :) :)

  • try a skin then, no more SLIPPY

  • thanks dude for your reply, bought the phone and have been using it for around 3 weeks, the camera could do wonders if they tuned it up by software updates( only to fill up the hype they created with their 'Dual camera, Clearer photos" logo), else i ain't disapointed by this phone its simply great in every aspect...

  • I like very much the metal body. Is more resistant than plastic.

  • Nopes. IP68 is S8 IP67 is iphone 7 None for OP5

  • Battery backup awsome.

  • Why did Oneplus go for metal body, OP3T and OP5 owners now reporting paint chipping because they've been using protective case. Imagine if it had wireless charging and had glass back. People would dislike it vice versa I dislike metal body, which lacks durability and appearance.

  • yep, G6 was better at getting cracks and scratches out of nowhere. like when you failed to break the front glass, don't worry, you can still break the back.

  • lol, when people reply to their own comment and play dumb.... "LG G6 is Better" Is also pretty funny XD

  • Excellent phone...master piece....and worth it compared to Apple in all respects..buy it from sure....all features v good....

  • Everything what I was looking for is there in this !!! Superbbbb....

  • Bro u r right.this phone is good but but g6 is better

  • Lg g6 better phone as Compare to this one

  • It is smooth, Fast and responsive, Best Android phone yet at this price point, Go for it if your looking for a flagship device.

  • It has been 3 days since usage. Battery backup s good. Camera is too good for photos. Light weight. Awesome design. Slim and sleek. I dont hav a second thought after buying One Plus 5. Go for it

  • A GPS problem which the company still has no solution for it yet!!

  • best phone ever made by one plus monstrous ram, high capacity battery, extraordinary dual camera 4k if you want to have a phone like this proceed

  • None. I too was hunting for a sale offer on One plus 5.

  • Got this phone a few days ago, it's amazing phone! Phone is really smooth and takes great photos. Seems faster and smoother than the iPhone 7 and got it at a really good price due to the exchange offer. Battery life is slightly better than average but dash charging makes up for it. Flaghsip level looks and performance at a great price!

  • Excellent phone, smoth and fast, camera is too good, sound is very well, overall best phone, super opporting, clean and nice phone, dash charging very awesom not heating, I will never forget him my phone

  • diwali sale?? where?? don't see one on amazon..

  • No but it is waterproof to some extent, if you try underwater test then may result water damage.

  • Is it IP68 Certified .....

  • Fantastic phone,Dash charging is really amazing,Photo quality is awesome,Ease of use is superb

  • Greatest smartphone I have ever used. Amazing battery capacity and the quick dash charging is pretty dashing. I love it especially since it lasts a day on normal usage. The amazing camera got me into amateur photography. Apart from minor bugs in the oem software, i love it.

  • I bought this phone around 3 weeks back in Diwali sale. Here are the pros and cons of this phone Pros: 1. Good rear camera ( bookeh effect, low light pics ) 2. Good battery life ( Easily last 1 day with moderate to heavy use ) 3. Fast charging ( charges from 30 % to 100 % in 1 hour 10 mins ) 4. Fast performance Cons: 1. Little bit expensive

  • I'm using op 5 for the last month. And having no issues. It's a fastest Android mobile with excellent software. You will never regret just go for it

  • Software issues (unless it's really breaking) always take months to fix on Android, because of all the testing and other QA needed.

  • So far working good since last 3 days. Dash charging takes more than 30mins. Battery life stays for 1 day if continuously using. Camera quality nice in daytime. Haven't checked in night light. Fingerprint sensor is fast. You can use facial unlock feature also. Sound quality is nice. Difficult to proper screen protector in offline market.

  • I bought this phone 2 months back.my phone having some heating issue.when i went to the service center they told me its software issue.they kept my phone from last 20 days and didn't repair yet.i could not understand. How much time require for software issue.i will never buy oneplus device.very pathetic service.

  • i got the OP5 and my friend got the Nokia 8, both are almost equal in performance, you'll just feel the difference from the OS that was used. OP 5 was enhanced stock android while Nokia 8 was just stock android.my friend just downloaded an app for gesture shortcuts because he wants the gesture shortcut that i do on my OP5 and i did download an always on Amolent app because i want the always on screen display feature although N8 got an IPS display while having a default Always on Screen feature that might not be power efficient. but who knows?

  • Haters don't actually need brain power. they just have to feel they hate something to say bad things about it.

  • Sexy look and beatiful .I can't enjoy the beauty of this phone, because of the back cover.Very slippy one, so can't use with out back cover.

  • I couldn't agree more...lol

  • I must really say Mike, you live in a fantasy world if you think LG G6 is better than One Plus 5.You say that LG G6 is a better device in this range. What range is that? Make sense when you type and identify what you mean without no proof or evidence.

  • Excellent performance. Design is very good. Camera not at per considering it's a 20 MP dual camera. Dash charger raises the battery to 70% in 15-20 minutes, but to get 100% one need to keep it to 1 hr 10 minutes. 70% is good enough for a day. Display is little less crispier than Samsung S8 but very much acceptable. Feels very slippery in hand, a cover is mandatory.

  • Butter... Honestly, by far the best phone. Best display, speed, camera.... Enjoy the feast.

  • I love the part of "And I Guess Warranty is now void" I mean REALLY??? You Break your phone yourself and you expect a company to compensate you for it? and telling people not to buy a phone because it breaks when you bend it... lol that hilarious... I didnt know Phone were meant to bend... these Haters are on another level.

  • lg g6 is better device in this range

  • nokia 8 or oneplus 5? Which is the best smartphone?

  • 1 completed 1 moth of use.Best performance in every way.Battery, camera, charging, speed, smoothness,no heating , music player, my using launcher and everything are very good performance. Thanks one plus.

  • The all new one plus5 is not just a smart phone, its a battle machine.what a performance... There should be new games to invent for playing in one plus5 because all high graphics games can be played without any problem. The camera of this phone will surely defeat the one dslr cams .Each and every part of the photo has its beauty. Even if it is 5.5 inch it doesnt show the size of that much thanks to the oneplus design, A little heating is there while charging but it is not having any room here because nowadays every phone have heating while charging, Overall there is no negative to say about this phone.

  • Amazing phone its the best phone which I have used . I am a always a fan of oneplus Hatsoff to them for making such awesome products .

  • Awesome mobile... Im a gadget lover.... A phone of my choice..... Good cam quality.... Depth effect is d awesome feature in it.

  • Impressive. Have been using this from 4 days. Just charged it twice.. Awesome for games.. excellent camera.. No heating issues found at all even after playing games that with high graphics.. Worth every penny spent! Hope for the same performance in future as well...

  • I presume this is a great phone from its specs and reviews but am hesitant to buy because of the accessibility of service centers here in the Philippines in case of a problem. Instead, I'm considering either a Sony xz, LG V20 or a huawei mate 9. Any advice? Thanks to those who'll comment.. :-)

  • Well that's Oneplus for you, what do you expect from a flagship killer when it's not considered a camera phone. The advertisement of dual lens was overhyped, assuming it would perform better in low light. From what I heard stability works better than camera quality and now Oneplus 5 owners have to live with regret.

  • who does that to a new phone .. seems like you're a 1+ hater

  • true stuff lol

  • Hw about the camera nd video

  • A company who's revenue in 2014 (remember that was 3 years ago) was $300,000,000. Is that is what you call 'small'?

  • I have just bought this and I have used S8+ , Note-8 and Iphone-8 Pkus. OnePlus 5 is amazingly fast and gives tough competition to all these high end phones. I will 100% recommend this to people who are unable to buy high end phones. They the must buy this phone then other brands.

  • Oneplus 5 is really a killer flagship. Pros 1. Performance is truly fantastic. Most fluid smartphone along with pixel. 2. Dash charging. Roughly 56% in 26 minutes. 3. Somehow oneplus manage to deliver strong battery life despite having 3300 mah battery. 4. Display is good too. Amoled is always superior to ips one. 5. Speaker is loud and comparable to others. Cons. 1. Design . First of all the back of the phone is totally insipired by Iphone 7 plus and the front have relatively large bezel according to today's flagship level.

  • This convinced me to buy Samsung galaxy s8. Oneplus make weak phones because they're a small company.

  • Hello... One plus 5😍...another smartfone by the company.... Really this is a phone which really can be compared to the IPHONE 7/8 😍...really this time oneplus have brought a great phone and if u think about the price u get dual camera setup with portrait mode and good storage, performance and lot more... U can go with this without any worry....

  • If you wish check Honor 8 Pro

  • There is no doubt Oneplus is one of the better brands keeping our pockets heavy even after getting their products. I have been a fan of oneplus 6 months before its launch in INDIA. The company is still working hard to gove out the best specs in any Flagship phone out there. The product, on paper, overpowers its counterparts which are twice its prices. Post 1-week usage PRO: Dash charge Fingerprint sensor is lightning fast Dual Camera Portrait Mode The gestures are simply amazing. Near stock Android experience

  • This phone is superfast. Excellent usage speed and battery feedback. The phone flies with Jio. Awesome LTE speeds , coverage and battery backup. Have shifted my loyalty from iPhone to OnePlus !

  • It is really a flagship killer phone from one plus team. A perfect camera, stylish look , efficient battery, fast charger. The best of cellphone we can get

  • What a load of rubbish! Nobody in their right mind is going to deliberately bend a new phone in half until it snaps. That's the worst example of Trolling I have read in a long time.

  • @Last Word Apple, Sony, Samsung and others have been 'mining' data for years. Get off your high horse and spout your scare mongering somewhere else.

  • I performed a bend test on my Oneplus 5, the screen and metal body shattered in half but the motherboard is slightly bent, this phone is fragile than anything else and I guess warranty is now void, don't buy this phone I implore you.

  • Go with nokia 8

  • am writing this review after using for 3 months .. 1.CAMER quality was good, 2.it have fastest FINGER PRINT SCANNER & FACE ID unlock (I don't know why they are not promoting Face ID unlock and non of Youtube reviewers also didn't tell about it - but its awesome to use) 3.BATTERY-fastest mobile charging than all smart phone ( including iphone8 & Samsung gs8) 4.BATTERY-very slow battery draining than all smart phone, usually I have more than 50% to 60% while returning from office even after normal usage.

  • The phone is absolutely fast and never faced lagging, overheating issue. The battery life is excellent and decent display makes it one of the high end specs phone to stand in que. It's Oxygen OS delivers a near stock Android experience. I compared again with iPhone 7 Plus in speed test and the OP5 stood winner.

  • Now am totally confused which is best cost no issue OP5 or moto G5S plus ? around 30k mobile advise guys which is good at the moment ?

  • You can chalk it down why its a flagship killer : 1. The fastest charging phone as it takes 1 hr 10mins to charge 100 percent of 3400mah whereas premium phones like iPhone, Samsung and Sony takes over 2 hr minimum. 2. Highest RAM of 8gb with Snapdragon 835 with the clock speed of 2.45ghz which is most of the time better than any premium phones. 3. The lowest draining phone as well. 4. The sound is from drac and is worth any double stereo. 5. The camera has a dxomark of 88 which is the same as iPhone 7 plus

  • Worst is the camera with EIS, should I sacrifice camera quality for the sake of image stabilization? No I want both quality and stability, in which case I prefer OIS over EIS because it's more convenient. I heard that 4K recording messes up the exposure in low light is this true?

  • Agree with your views as one more cheating case by OP has come to light today. OnePlus devices including OP 5 are sending sensitive personal data namely IMEI numbers, MAC addresses, personal numbers and network SSID's to its servers AMAZON and others. This tracking is going on for a long time which is a serious breach of trust by OP with its clients. People should refrain from buying OP mobiles in future to safeguard their own interests.

  • Am I the only one experiencing this ? The phone is very fast and its very reliable in all ways. Graphics are very good and also the camera. Gameplay ? No doubt about the graphics and battery is so tough. Hoping that this phone will remains the same in the near future! OnePlus 5 8GB user here.

  • Phone is fast .. camera is good, portrait mode is a killer. Touch has improved. However it's one of the most slippery phones. Better buy a cover.

  • Best phone in the market! Pros -Dash charge, doesn't heat and it's really fast -touchscreen is awesome -homekeys customisation -Inbuilt apps, like recording , vault and app lock -camera is best, thanks to Sony exmor (same as iPhone) -RAM and processor, even lightroom works Cons -No radio,(not a big deal, cauz I use wynk) -little heavy and big, wish phone was 5 inches -not water resistant Overall is best phone in the market, a better choice than a iPhone, for half its price! Read less

  • Sexy phone, awesome camera, very good battery back up, Phone is amazing..

  • So U mean to say Ur good with English , a person who know very well to express his views should write review Samsung & Sony are good , are you for real ? Then how come other mobile phone company survive? If op5 is not up to mark why the hell u jumped into this forum ? You should have ignored this page right ?

  • (Grammar lessons) wwoww man..am amazed...wot a device....first impression and performance of the deviced is awsome...i do prefer this phone to everyone out there who is looking for a flagship under 35000...itz a geniune review...firsttime one plus user.. Hate it to break it to you, you're grammar is very illiterate and poor. Firstly it's "I'm" not am. "Wot a device", you're incorrect you misspelt "Wot" when it should be "What a device". Always remember always put a full stop rather than using ellipses. "i do prefer", always use capital "I" when starting a sentence. "Itz a geniune" when it should be "it's a genuine". Lastly "one plus user" is a grammatical error when it should be used to describe a noun which you're referring to "Oneplus user" yourself. The review you given is the same one you posted before and there is a lot of exaggeration in attempt to give this phone a good reputation, in fact it CHEATED on benchmark test. Also I don't recommend anyone to buy this device and those who call it premium, it isn't and it will never will be. I can tell you what's premium, look at Samsung and Sony they produce the best phones and guarantee you they'd destroy Oneplus 5 on speed and performance test. Lastly, Oneplus 5 will be discontinued next month due to benchmark cheating and iPhone 7 plus clone design, as result Oneplus 6 will be announced this November. Keep in tune.

  • Do not buy one plus 5 phone plz because front camera not work wright and one plus 5 customer care not give good answers ..So plz plz don't buy one plus 5 i lost my 32999 rs for one plus 5..Very very very bad phone...In market so don't buy .They are layer....

  • wwoww man..am amazed...wot a device....first impression and performance of the deviced is awsome...i do prefer this phone to everyone out there who is looking for a flagship under 35000...itz a geniune review...firsttime one plus user..

  • Yeah.. sorry nobody from OnePlus is reading your review.. So dont make stupid comments

  • Again, lol I said the Camera quality is not as good as was Advertised by one plus team before launch. Hope you get my point this time. Dont rush/reply without understanding things someone wants to say. Further what basic needs you want to fulfil from a oneplus5 ?? If you are concerned about basic needs only then why someone would be buying oneplus5 ?? If you are a blind fan of OP5 be with it, but don't portray wrong information to others. Good luck.

  • Then buy yourself a DSLR camera, this can suffice the basic needs when it comes to camera phones. But for purists, please, just get a camera not a phone.

  • This phone is lit but inly one problem that the camera noise that not good please improve it by next update at night time the picture can't be seen at 8x zoom please do it in next update

  • supposedly a oneplus 5t is coming out with a 6" screen

  • The best thing I like about this phone is it's camera, which gives SLR like pictures in the portrait mode. The dash charging is a plus, with 30 mins of charging you get 60% + of charge. That more than makes up for the battery capacity. The overall look and feel is also premium...

  • @Last Word If every phone manufacturer followed your doctrine then they would never bring out a newer model e.g. Google would never have designed the Pixel 2 and Apple the iphone 8. Technology moves on, unlike you!

  • Just an iPhone copy waiting to be discontinued, what's next for Oneplus?

  • Man, stop posting series of comments recommending OP 5. If it was so good and popular, why has company stopped production as it is out of stock in many countries including US and UK. The rumour is OnePlus 5T will be released in Nov with 6" full HD, 1020*2160 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. This one will compete with LG V30 and Google Pixel 2XL with almost similar specifications and take care of camera shortcomings in OP 5.

  • It's nothing like I expected it to be. Amazing camera. Amazing performance. Amazing phone

  • wwoww man..am amazed...wot a device....first impression and performance of the deviced is awsome...i do prefer this phone to everyone out there who is looking for a flagship under 35000...itz a geniune review...firsttime one plus user..

  • best mobile bought till date. I decided to change brand from Samsung which I had bought all these years and I am very happy with my decision. Being Adroid, my switchover was very easy. The phone is a beauty in every which way.The Screen , the colors, the Camera, the functions....Perfect

  • Got this Mobile today. Sleek, superfast. It's WoW.

  • If not happy with default launcher, use Aw launcher , but not fully.Pure white interface, beautifully created.large icon.Use green colour wallpaper.More attractions.

  • could you install linux on this phone

  • I am in love with this phone. Love the amoled display and phone works smoothly. I was confused between one plus 5 and honor 8pro, but at the end I decided to go with this phone even though honor 8 pro was 6k cheaper.

  • Amazing product..light weight..very good photos in day light..when zooms the pixel cracks ..no way to increase the memory..60 gb fixed ..you can not add sd card ..clarity in ..speakers are decently good. Price slightly up

  • I've had this phone since it was released in June and it's hands down one of the best phones currently out there!

  • Probably one of the best Mobiles available in today's market. Nothing saying about the product, if you want a falgship experience and dont what to hole in your Pocket, buy this (period).

  • One of the best mobile handset I ever enjoyed.. far better than any other similar products.. never expected it to be so perfect.. it doesnt hang.. speed is awesome.. camera clarity is superb, audio with headset is really good, sleek, build quality is good..battery life is good.. only draw back could be additional memory is not feasible.. but 128GB is sufficient for day to day activities.

  • Right now lg g6 is best device in the market

  • Superb mobile to purchase. Lot of options to explore

  • lol don't misguide people about camera quality, everybody knows the reality. It is not good at all as was expected/advertised. It does not make any difference, if you write with different names from same location **uu. It's a good phone but not a camera phone.

  • Its amazing, camera quality, processor speed , touch effectiveness all at expected level, slim and light. Go for it, its a beast.

  • Get Nokia 8 as there are card slot & is cheaper than One+5.

  • Go for 1+5 I got it yesterday Loving so much

  • Nokia 8 is also good phone in same price range. Help me out which one is good 1+5 or nokia8

  • Dont waste your time and effort for reading the reviews....just get this phone for yourself....its freaking amazing....best of best

  • Fast and responsive octa core 2.45 ghz processor with no lag. No heating problem even with a continuous use of 5 hrs. Battery life is superb. With low use can easily go for 2 days. For heavy users it can support complete one day. Dash charge works efficiently charging 0 to 50% in 30 min and full charging in 1 hr. I was a Samsung user till date but OP5 has surpassed all my past experience. Only minus is it doesn't have a memory card slot or even a hybrid slot. I couldn't use my MMC. Second minus is it doesn't provide earphones in the box. Negative for music lovers. Leaving this aspect OP5 scores on all ftont. Both the Cameras are awesome with very good picture quality and function. It is surely a kill for apple i phone for those who are Android lovers.

  • I love my one plus 5. Camra of this is super fantastic.love click photos with my one plus..it's really awesome..

  • Awesome gr8 stuff ..... Good features gr8 looks Light weight Everything is gr8.... Hope it do gr8 further

  • The OnePlus 5 is not the best. It is, however, arguably the best for the price. Though at 500 EUR ($585 US) the latest OP is no longer midrange in price.

  • This phone is a handsdown winner for it's pricing and specs. If not for the lack of SD card slot, I would not have hesitated to upgrade my phone to this.

  • Pros:my honest review 1- Conventional but brilliant design 2- Latest hardware and software 3- Buttery smooth UI 4- Excellent customisability 5- Excellent speaker 6- Great battery 7- Sharp screen 8- Snappy and high quality camera Cons: 1- Slightly on the higher side in terms of price for a OnePlus 2- Conventional design: Next time they won't have the iPhone design route to exploit.

  • For assorted reasons I decided to leave the iPhone. I looked at all the Android options and settled on the OnePlus 5 as the best. I've had it for a week now and I prefer it to my iPhone 7 or the just released 8/8X. It's really nice and a lot more useful.

  • lol I AM the fanboy here? roflmao. trolls are gonna troll. you are saying your Mate 9 has a Better screen than Samsung Galasy S7 Edge? Rolfmao man..... just because is bigger doesnt mean better screen just that, bigger but quality is another thing and Mate 9 has no better screen than Oneplus 5, let alone Samsung S7 Edge. your Battery is better than Oneplus 5 and EVEN better than the one on the S7 EDGE? rolfmao dude I bet you don't even had S7 EDGE, my fiance has and the battery is insane in that phone! again all you have to do is look it up online in probadly ALL websites and see battery test and you will find that the 4000 Battery on the Mate 9 doesnt last ANY LONGER than the "Tiny" 3300 Battery on the Oneplus 5 and much less than the 3600(this is the RIGHT battery the s7 EDGE has) the S7 Edge carries. it's Call optimization, please look it up! a well optimize 2000 mAh Battery can last longer than a crappily optimize 400mAh Battery any day no matter the usage. and again I beg you to look it up, it's ALL over the internet, if your S7 Edge(if you really had it) lasted much less than your Mate 9, Im guessing you either got rip off or didnt even notice the malfuntion. again Camera really? Im not even gonna go into details all Im gonna say is that Oneplus 5 Camera has MANY test online and in all of them it beats Mate 9 sorry pal try another thing, now the "Swaping SDs" argument is plain....... silly(to not say another word) but if it works for you to carry another SD around all the time so that you may have 400GB of Photos(acording you) and swap them depending all your need all the time, well I will give you this one, good for your and Mate 9 So all in all, Im no fanboy, the CLEAR fanboy here is you, who came to another phones post to claim this one sux and yours is a million times better just because you decide it is, I at least am basing my claims with reviews of a lot of well known reviewers online not just biased on hate and thinking "my is supirior, this one is bad" like you. again I didnt say Mate 9 is a bad phone, one of the things I love about android is the flexibility of Brand, Models and color it offers, there is one right suited for anyone and their needs. If the guy that asked which is better picks Mate 9, good for him and I hope it delivers in every field he is hoping it will, all I said is in which Fields Oneplus 5 is CLEARLY better than Mate 9, and still Mate 9 would be a good for almost anyone, specially on a tight budget. peace, and I recommend you watch and read other sites and listen to others and don't get stuck on your believes alone ;)

  • phone is super fast. Boots up quick. I bought this for my wife. Though the camera positioning is similar to iPhone, it is different in the looks. Clicks multiple pictures very fast. There is absolutely no time lag when I tried to click the next shot. I tried taking photos in a water fall, the phone got fully wet though it worked without any issues till now.

  • Amazing phone..Awesome camera...make sure to do some settings inorder to increase battery life.

  • It's simple. If you like Android, then it's One Plus 5, or Mi6 which dimension not to different from 4,7" iPhone and cheaper. But if you like IOS, then it's iPhone 7 plus or above. But I guess your option is limited to budget. If it so, Android it's your option which more affordable and lot of options.

  • I'd rather say it's you who is insane :P Fanboys are always the most insane. The only thing that's really laughable here is that you only saw a few random YouTube videos on the Mate 9, and already think you know everything about it. Pathetic. Screen size from 5.5" to 6" is a *huge* difference. I've been using a S7 edge for a long time, a 5.5" device, and when I switched to the Mate 9, the bigger screen size really had a huge impact, and I absolutely wouldn't want anything less than 6" anymore. Likewise, the battery difference between the tiny 3300 mAh in the OP5 and the 4000 mAh in the Mate 9 is a *huge* difference. My S7 edge had a 3500 mAh battery, which is even bigger than the one in the OP5, but it was still very disappointing. As a heavy user, especially of Pokemon GO, the battery killer No. 1, it never lasted me through the day, and I always had to bring along a battery pack. When I switched to the Mate 9 with its bigger 4000 mAh battery, my battery pack suddenly became obsolete. I haven't needed it once anymore since. Now, the camera. I like to take a lot of photos, and the Leica camera has never disappointed me there, it always delivers a good performance. I've recently compared the photo quality with a friend who has a OP5, and the Leica camera in the Mate 9 generally takes better photos than the willy-nilly camera in the OP5, which e.g. has a noise problem, especially in low light. You can use the photo comparison tool on this site to see how the Leica camera in the Mate 9 kicks the OP5 camera deftly in the nuts, especially in Low Light conditions, where the OP5 camera follows the "Bring the noise!" motto. Here's a screenshot as proof: Finally, the expandable memory. As I said, I like to take a lot of photos, so the memory tends to quickly fill up. I wouldn't want to be forced to clean up the internal memory all the frigging time, that would be a major nuisance. Instead, I just swap out the SD card, and sort the photos whenever I find the time. I wouldn't want to miss this convenience, so I wouldn't ever touch a smartphone without SD card slot - where the only reason for the missing SD card slot is that the manufacturer wants to rip you off by forcing you to buy a version with more internal memory. Be it One Plus, Apple or whoever else uses that extortion practice. So, to MH Asif: if you can live with a smaller, less comfortable screen, a tiny battery with poor battery life, a camera that follows the "Bring the Noise!" motto especially in Low Light and a non-expandable storage which you have to clean out all the time, and at the same time pay more for all these disadvantages... please, go ahead.

  • Ok let me start by saying I in NO WAY said Mate 9 is a bad phone, I don't have that phone but have watched a couple of videos of my prefer Reviewers on Youtube and I know what that phone is capable, I was talking to the guy that said Mate 9 is better than Oneplus because of a lot of laughable reasons IMO, the screen size is a matter a preference as you stated, but the difference between 6" and 5.5" isnt that big of a deal IMO to begin with, I come from a 5" Phone so It took a while for me to get use to this phone and I think this is the perfect size for me at least, I woundt want a bigger phone in where using it single handed would become more difficult but of course that may change in time. about he IR Blaster I know all the "Goodies" It offers, I come from HTC Family and my phone also had IR Blaster, Do I miss it? Yes! Is it a Deal breaker? not in a million years, I wouldnt brag about having it, but again that's me. About the Battery I myself consider a Heavy user, I use my phone for gaming alone for about 4 to 5 hours daily sometimes more sometimes less of course, the rest of the time is either in Standby Mode while I sleep or i'm in social media or talking to someone. but From the 24 hours a Day has, I use it for about 12 to 14 of those hours. and I still get a full day from a single Charge, Normally I Charge it at night around 8pm, while I'm finishing playing and about to go to sleep, I don't have to Charge it again until the very same time next day and I still have between 15 to 25% of battery left in most cases. I think the same as you regarding Storage, I would be more than happy with 64GB of ram on a phone, I got the 128GB version and 8GBs of Ram because I wanted to future proof it, I have TONS of videos, music and games and all the storage and currently using is about 45Gbs and I doubt I will ever fill this phone. I DO THINK the Oneplus 5 is Ahead of Mate 9, because is a year older, Snapdragon 835 is an amazing Chipset but that's my opinion and even if it is indeed ahead it wouldnt matter much because must phone lately come with the specs so that they dont lag easly. again I do think Mate 9 is a good for whoever thinks it will fit their needs, in fact the beuty of Android is that! that you can choose between MANY brands, Colors, and Models and fit your needs and budget, while on Apple you stuck with that years model, I love that we have the option to pick from MANY brands and models, Before I bough this phone I did a LOT of research, I wanted something NEW(2017) and that would last me AT LEAST for 3 years and in a good price, I was interested in LG G6(Discarded this one because of the old specs despite being a 2017 Flagship), HTC U11 and Samsung S8 and I discarded those last 2 because of my budget, I risked going for a "unknown" Brand such a Oneplus but I did so after I watched and read a lot about the phone and I couldnt be happier with it. So my advice to the guy that asked which is better is, dont listen to anyone that saids "This phones sucks, XXX Phone is much better because of this and that" I suggest you read a lil about the phones you find appealing to you and fit your needs and budget and you will decide pretty quick.

  • Hi...i had iPhone 5 since 2 years.but i want to upgrade my phone...so i am confused between iPhone 6s and one plus 5.which one is better??

  • Kanon, I read your entire thread and I would like to share my insight as well on both options under discussion. I have been using Mate 9 for the past 10 months now. I am one of those people who like to stay up to date with every new model that gets launched in the market and that claims to provide something ahead of other option available to a customer. Since I have purchased Mate 9, I believe this investment so far has proved to be one of the best. We have some new giants in the market now of Samsung but not for once I considered switching to any device. It's a competitive market and each company strives to stay ahead of their competitors by introducing one or more unique features, which most of the times are not even useful, but just a symbol of attraction for the customers. recent examples would be Iris scanner or face recognition features. Honestly, does their absence in our phones make any difference ? I believe, those features in a phone stand out that can be incorporated as a part of our normal routine. You kind of mocked the preference of IR blaster in a phone. Well, this is a very handy feature for a lot of reasons. It provides the user with an option in case the actual devices for connectivity are not available. It's a very practical feature of a phone but nonetheless its usage is not among a bigger percentage but having said that, it cannot be denied that it does provide comfort in a lot many ways. Jack of all trades kind of device. Mate 9's 4000 mAh battery does provide a good talk time and stand by too. I charge my phone once a day or sometimes I charge it the next day. I use Data/WiFi throughout the day and it still provides me hassle free charge. Fast charge is one among the noticeable features of high range phones but even then every phone does not provide it the way it claims. This phone too takes 75 mins to give a full charge. I have never for once faced any heat up on this phone while on charge. Screen size is again a matter of choice and preference, like I am not comfortable with smaller screens. Camera Quality: this is again a feature almost everyone looks up to. Everyone brand uses a different lens, changes the aperture options, and the availability of pro feature. Using a camera in itself a skill and one needs to know how he can play with ISO, saturation, modes etc. And I think every mobile phone company portrays that it has provided best camera features one could look for. Oneplus is undoubtedly a very solid brand and it's the pioneer of developing a device that was low in price but was no less than any flagship device on the market. I used Oneplus One for almost 2 years. I switched to 3T and I could not stand it for more than 02 days as it was a complete disappointment. Oneplus 5 bags in 8GB RAM with 128 GB of internal storage. Expanded RAM, sounds great but 128 GB storage ? I think 64 GB is good enough especially if you are in a habit to regularly clean your phone's cache and other Junk and also don't hoard unnecessary files on your phone. In nutshell, it all comes down to one's preference and likeness. There is no single phone on the market which can be called to be a dream come true sort of device. If one phone has 02 good features then it might be lacking in 01 or 02 more. There's very tough competition in the market and every company is striving to attract as much market share as possible. Quality is being compromised in one way or the other. Being a user of Mate 9, I can confidently say that it is a very good investment because of the features that it provides. Performance quality is only developing and not going down no matter how many applications are installed or how heavy the usage is. No lag for once up til date. Oneplus 5 has its own merits but it by no means stay ahead of Mate 9. But, yes, only when it comes to price range.

  • I m confused between lg g6 and this.which one is better.lg g6 having much more features as compare to this one.

  • Nice phone suparv performance nice battery backup good charging

  • Battery.. Depending on the usage.. Used it for minimum 16 hrs and maximum 3 days 4 hrs. Camera.. Delivers as expected... Awesome pics and videos. Performance...!!! No lags or frame drops of any sort. Playing Asphalt 8 & extreme regularly. Slippery... So buy a good back cover for a food hold.

  • Camera quality is impressive, even in low light. Mind-boggling performance. The phone is very sleek, but slippery. Very light weight, No hearing issue and oxygen OS is very smooth and many things can be customised. Worth for the money.

  • dude really? are you insane? wow is amazing how "hate" or "envy" works.. if you don't like Oneplus 5 that's ok but at least be real on your comments to someone who's asking for "clear" directions not your opinion! in General Oneplus 5 is MUCH MUCH better of a phone than Huawei Mate 9 but there are things you have to consider first. to Begin the things in which Huwai Mate 9 Beats Oneplus 5 are, -Price as you stated but that of course is a given taking into cosideration is a year old phone againts a 2017 phone. -Storage, i have said it before(although is my opinion and I know this) the 128GB storage and 8GB of Ram version of Oneplus 5 is the best option and 128GB should be more than enough for the VAST majority of smartphone users out there, but if you are one of those that can't get enough space, then having the option to expand the memory with a 256GB memory SD is the winner here no doubt despite the slow reading/writing times. -Screen, but size ONLY! when it comes to quality Oneplus 5 has a MUCH BETTER screen and you can see many videos of this online, the only thing better is the size which isnt really a big avantage againts a clearer 5.5´ Amoled Screen -Ir Blaster, Really? we are in 2017 who still use these things? and what for? controling your Tv? if it's a Smart TV(Again we are in 2017) you can control it with almost any smartphone and you could also use those device call "Control Remote" for that as well ¬_ ¬ and thats it now on the Oneplus 5 over the Mate 9 we have. Performance, saying that Kirin 960 is Better than snapdragon 835 is laughable on so many level, despite the "cheat" oneplus did on the bentchmark you can still fine many uncheated bentchmarks in where Oneplus 5 or any Snapdragon 835 smartphone for that matter DESTROYS Kirin 960, and dont get me start it on the Mali againts Adreno. also 8GBs of Ram is MUCH smarter than 4 GBs of Ram specially when phones get outdate it pretty quickly lately, with the 8Gbs of Ram version you are future proofing. Camera, Again Really? Mate 9 is better because of OIS? lol man be serious, you can see many samples out there including DXOMark Test in which Oneplus 5 is a much better a sharper camera than Mate 9. Battery, one last time REALLY? you clearly know nothing of smartphones if you think just having a Bigger Baterry equals a longer time between chargers, you can find a lot a Battery test out there(Including GSMArena's one) and in all of them Oneplus 5 Last longer on a single full charge than mate 9s, it's called optimization and Snapdragon 835 is a Beast in this field. A couple of extras that take the Oneplus further ahead of Mate 9, Fingerprint scanne on the Oneplus 5 is INSANE. just look it up. Dash Charging is also INSANE!!! from 1% to 100% in about 70 Minutes WHILE you are still using the phone while it charges is unveliable and is also worth mentioning ABSOLUTELY NO HEAT ON THE PHONE! No matter if you are gaming or watching videos it doesnt matter. Near stock Android experience, I used Nexus 4 for a few years and I love having stock Android, then I went to HTC one M9 and Hated all the blootware and that stuff, now that I am with a Oneplus 5 I couldnt be Happier with the way the phone behaves. Oneplus 5 is MUCH lighter than Mate 9, I for one hate heavy phones but that may be just me. all in all Oneplus 5 is a MUCH BETTER phone all around than Mate 9, but that doesnt mean Mate 9 is a bad phone, if you thinkg the things it offer will suffice you specially the lower price tag(the difference in price it's not that big IMO) then go for the Mate 9. if not, I recommend blindly the Oneplus 5 128GB/8GB Ram edition.

  • Which one is best s7edge or oneplus5 i would like to buy one of these, please suggest me,thank u.

  • Definitely Mate 9, it's much better! Bigger screen, better camera (Leica with OIS, OP5 only has lame EIS), much bigger battery, 4000 mAh instead of tiny 3300 mAh, a SD card slot up to 256GB which the OP5 lacks, and an IR port which the OP5 lacks as well. The Kirin in the Mate 9 is just as good as the Snapdragon in the OP5, if not better. Huawei doesn't need to cheat in benchmarks like the OP5 did. Don't listen to the bashing below, it doesn't have half the Ram. It has 4GB of Ram, not 3. 4GB are fully sufficient for anything, you really don't need 6GB as in the OP5, that's just a marketing gag without practical use.

  • It depends more on what you are looking for. Oneplus 5 is special because it gives flagship specs, godlike performance, stock android experience (near stock, some small extra features with OxygenOS) and is from 2017. Mate 9 is some kind of an older version from 2016, has bigger screen, and half the ram. You have to choose what corresponds to your needs.

  • What will be the good option to go for OnePlus 5 or Huawei mate 9 since mate 9 is 100 aed cheaper? Please explain why one is better than other?

  • Price will be increased every year. For example, OP5 costs 500EURO and S8 costs 610EURO. Next year, S9 costs 700EURO and above but OP6 costs 600EURO. Even 600EURO is too high, but it's the lowest price between every FLAGSHIPS. So it still could be declared as affordable flagships.

  • Hey guys am planning to buy oneplus 5 and am going to work in abudhabi. The problem is that,if the one plus 5 got damged, whether one plus service centre is available in abudhabi or not?

  • Awesome phone.Don't think just grab this phone.superb dash charging , clear photos of camera.

  • dude. if you can see every manufacturer increased prices. every year. Samsung. Huawei. LG even whit new V30. Anyway provide for example what can you get for 499 EUR ? I mean same specs included like OnePlus 5 : SD 835 6 GB ram Internal 64 GB ufs. Fast charge. Big screen Big battery.... Maybe another chinese brand? But from big players (well known) no chance to beat this price range 499 Eur. I`m pleased to see how this startup OnePlus growing they started only in 16 December 2013.

  • What will be the good option to go for OnePlus 5 or Huawei mate 9 since mate 9 is 100 aed cheaper? Please explain why one is better than other?

  • Very well impressed by the features of this mobile. No compramise on working and superb speed. A must buy mobile under this range

  • I wish one day Oneplus makes a 6.5" phone too.

  • I doubt that OP6 will be bezel-less It'll just cost too much They always increase the price No longer best affordable flagship phone

  • Maybe it's too early to mention OP6 But there've been rumors over the internet that it's coming early 2018 I've been waiting from 3 to 3T to 5 Since it's not available in my country, except from sellers who hand-carry but it's still limited supplies I decided to go with Mi Mix 2 instead But this is also still hard to get Better make bigger and faster production for OP6 At least hand-carry importers get enough supplies to sell Otherwise, will go with other option Sick of waiting and missing out Since OP3 - literally But OP6 better have bezel-less 18:9 ratio and bezel-less is just tooooooo sexy to refuse It'll be the norm for 2018 No Doubt !!!

  • Just bought mine a couple of days ago and it has facial recognition to unlock your phone.

  • No it doesn't have Face ID neither it needs one at this time.

  • Is it mhl compatible?

  • does this have facial recognition just like Apple Iphone X?

  • Sorry, I got it second hand set,one month use.

  • Awesome phone super fast speed beacuse of 6gb ram and excelling multitasking. Well buying it in this price one plus should provide a good ear piece with one plus 5

  • Those are some expensive and pretty useless additions.

  • Pros: battery life, super fast charge, performance, display off gestures, unlock speed Cons: wifi stability, auto dimming locks Meh: photo quality, 4g speed

  • Where did you get for 27k????

  • Supreme is one word. Those are willing too buy smartphone in this price range don't hesitate and order it.you will not regret. If I want to suggest improvement in one plus 5 .

  • t just works fine. Been using this device since 3 months now and it still amazes me. Near stock experience, amazing camera and super fast performance is all I need. Keep up the good work OnePlus.

  • Superb, excellent in all respect except battery which is 3300mah, it should be atleast 5000mah. Camera is awesome specially selfie, storage is 128GB beyond imagination. Don't prefer iPhone...

  • Wer u bought dis mobile for 27k and wen?

  • who else have GPS issue with OP5..?

  • Oneplus needs to change their design with their upcoming flagship of 2018, glass body and metal frame is needed like the Oneplus X because the uni-metal body on OP3/3T & OP5 is outdated just like sandstone on OP1 & 2. They also need address Oneplus 5 huge bezels and revert to narrow bezels of OP3/3T, please DO NOT go bezel-less route like other phone brands. And lastly, IP68 waterproof protection is a must otherwise it's a deal-breaker. Just thought I'd clear that up and Oneplus gets this message.

  • Obviously the OnePlus 5 , it's the best....super smooth and super fast

  • What an amazing phone! I can not believe that such a good phone can be so cheap. Worth for money. The look, the performance, the touch & feel. everything about the phone is amazing.

  • I have been using both iPhone 6 and Samsung s7 for long time. Experience with iOS have always been boring (full of limitations and absolute crap). But, hardware quality of iPhone like, camera, display, speaker, earphone etc. are awesome. Whereas, in the case of Samaung it is vice versa. Android is very flexible and user friendly. But, sound quality, display quality etc. are not that good as compared to iPhone. So, I was looking for a phone with Apple quality hardware but, in android. And, here I got the OnePlus 5. Awesome display, great sound quality, lag free, superb camera... and endless good things. Fully satisfied.

  • Agreed

  • No sugar coated word.. its worth for money... The best phone i ever used so far. Superb Camera Best audio quality Perfect finger print function Good battery life....

  • This phone support screen mirroring and smart remot for AC/tv/.....

  • Agreed

  • most people won't agree on that "lowest price" part, because there was a SD835 phone out there that was cheaper than this, but all in all, i've been using this phone for a couple of weeks now and i can only imagine that the people who won't like this phone was the people who just like a phone because of it's looks. like how they like gold necklaces. but for me i use it as a high tech tool, it's a very reliable device at that.

  • if you are that kind of person who ask other people's opinion on what YOU want to buy, then better buy the more expensive one. just like the iSheep people do.

  • Ultimate Product. Camera Sounds and Internet speed is awesome!

  • One of the best phone available at such price... really loving it. No hang. Battery back up full day after normal use.. camera is the best part of this mobile.. got it for 27k.

  • Nokia 8 or oneplus 5 confused plz help

  • no expandable storage is a bummer

  • Top class phone I have ever seen. Fluent performance. speaker. All is just fabulous.

  • This is by far the best mobile phone that I have used. Performance is beyond one's imagination!! So fast and smooth that one would hate using any other mobile once you have used OnePlus 5. Display is great so is the sound. Lastly the camera is as good as it gets!!

  • Radio is a deal breaker for me

  • Best performance with best features in lowest price.

  • Product is really worth the price tag, also is best among competitors in this price tag. Build quality is quite premium, and the hardware it is attached to, It just make it steal deal. Just about a week with this phone, But not really missing my HTC one M8 eye, which I thought i might miss. :) Dash charger, speakers, fingerprint reader....simply awesome. 8GB ram and promise for all future updates for at least Android Oreo, fells quite long lasting too. Great work Oneplus..

  • I bought this phone for 25k under exchange offer during great Indian sale. The delivery was timely and hassle free. Coming to the phone, I am very satisfied with features and performance. I am not a great gadget freak. I wanted a phone with excellent camera, great battery back up, speedy charging, and faster performance. It has been a week and one plus 5 has met all my requirements. Enjoying this beautiful piece.

  • The comments here are of two types : 1. Those bent on saying bad things about the phone. 2. Those using on sugar-coated phrases to convince buyers. So for people like me, genuinely looking for a good phone, what do I do?? Why can't we permit only objective views based on which potential buyers can make their decisions??

  • it actually looks like a galaxy s5 ,noob

  • This is the best phone I have ever used... Smooooth all the way

  • Don't use a case on this phone, looks ugly, even a d-branded skin ruins the look of this phone. Go full naked and flash your phone in public.

  • The design is so amateur compared to iPhone 7s, why do Oneplus copy phone brands like HTC now iPhone. I thought this company would go beyond and design something like Sony Xperia style phones but Oneplus are a joke lol.

  • iPhone 7s clone, SD 835 chipset and EIS camera. A = Flagship killer

  • Great phone! Fingerprint sensor is really fast, love the display, for the price, just go for it

  • Fantastic. Couldn't have asked for anything better. The only thing I hate about is the position of the speaker. I guess it should've been on the back. Bur anyway. What a phone to own. Hands down. Kudos one plus.

  • "Samsung low budget mobile is better than one plus 5" Looks like you never had a oneplus 5 in your hands and just came here bashing around telling bull over bull. Keep your iphone, your mad because for the price we pay we got better? Your ignorance just proves how idiotic your comments are. Get a life, get a real phone and stop complaining. You mentioning low budget samsung being better than the oneplus 5 just proves you're on a low budget smartphone and can't even afford a true flagship. Kids these days

  • Oneplus should provide compass, fm radio, themes, fonts, ringtones, date time stamping on camera photos and security app like mi phones. It is lacking these features.

  • What's new about OnePlus 5

  • What's new about OnePlus 5

  • The product is amazing. It's very good to use and the battery life is better than previous phones and it lasts a day. Doesn't gets heated up. Best thing is the dash charge. Phone charges in max 45 mins from 0 to 100. Worth every single penny of your hard earned 💰

  • Battery backup is ausome & in this price this phone is wonderful

  • Excellent phone.....just a drawback is no expandable memory.. otherwise value for money mobile

  • The experience is fluid. The phone works flawlessly. Pros- 1. Light weight 2. Display quality 3. Sound quality 4. Camera 5. Processor Cons- haven't found any yet!

  • Awesome phone with lightning fast speed. The dual camera is supperbb. Worth it. Single drawback i.e.that the company should have provided earphones along with the handset.

  • The phone is good in all aspects however, the back is slippery and it doesn't give you confidence of holding it firmly. The price is little on the higher side.

  • Real review and get one plus 5 With you guys are having amazing. No dissatisfaction left after I purchase one plus 5. no any issue I found in this phone. From camera to all unique features.

  • After One plus One experience I upgraded my handset to Oneplus 5. And yes The OnePlus 5 is outstanding in performance, new carve cornered look. Super camera quality, both front and back. Slim and lightweight. Battery backup is also good and especially the price with such all features compared to other smartphones with such technical range.

  • I have heard the so called "Jelly Effect" is still there, however I have used my phone for 3 weeks and a half and I have nothing to say about this phone but praises! It's incredible in everysingle aspect, I may sound fanboyism but Man I'm happy I decided to go for this and not the LG G6. so it would seem the Jelly Effect doesnt affect all Oneplus 5? or maybe they fix it? dont know for sure, all I know is that I knew of the jelly effect before purchasing and watched a couple of videos of how does this effect "work" and to even if it happended to me it wouldn't have bother me because to me at least it didnt seem like that much of a deal breaker, But anyway as I said it's not happening to me no matter where I scroll like mad either on twitter, chrome or any other app it does not happen.

  • The jelly effect while scrolling is still there?

  • OP 5 or Mi 6, which one has better camera (still pic only) considering OS updated to the latest ?

  • OnePlus 5 is really fast as light and smooth as butter! With good battery life no complaints at all. Worth every single penny! LoveForOnePlus

  • One plus 5 is pretty fast with more than awesome camera quality. It is really a flagship phone and you can definitely go for it without even having a second thought.

  • Maybe he's budget is just for those midrangers! HAHA!

  • Kinda weird, that you like Samsung rather then OP. - Samsung has alot more BLOATWARES than OP - Pricier perhaps? - HD display, yeah Samsung got it right but OP is as clear as it gets as well - Play store hangs up? Better check your internet connect buddy, it does that when you have a slow connection PS: Before you say anything bad, make sure you really know what you are talking about.

  • @Sigpro A friend of mine purchased a Nokia 8 and found a feature that no other phone seems to have. If you bend the Nokia 8 even slightly the screen pops out of the chassis. I suppose that is what you mean by "better build quality".

  • This is a nice device. Good looks design. Pure Android experience. But a bit overpriced. Performs well. Do but a back cover as it is slim and slippery with naked body.

  • Beast phone no lagging and hanging at all.i always wants a mobile that look like I phone and works on Android .tnkz one plus.

  • A phone Should be like this, Awesome performance, music quality is too good, camera too, very fast, Slim, sexy, classy, damn good, in love with it. 💓💓

  • Please suggest, I am Planing to buy this Phone. I am waiting for your suggestions. TIA

  • The only thing I like about Oneplus device is the dark theme customization, nothing else, and not many phone brands have that option on new android version but this paid app by Andromeda full system theme support available for devices running Android Oreo, and that's good for people who don't want to buy Oneplus device so they can theme their system UI using ADB drivers from their PC's.

  • Why does this device feels so light on the palm, doesn't feel rock solid which worries me and is more likely to drop in the floor, a bit more weight to the phone would make it feel more premium.

  • Nokia 8 is far better than 1+5 better screen better camera (zeiss Optics) 4k selfie camera better build quality better sound quality with 3 mic and Nokia OZO Audio better software with updates

  • Don't Ever compare one plus with iphone. One plus 5 is pathetic and poor display and UI. Play store hang always. Battery not stand more than a day even not browsing much. Email alert notification is very poor. Fonts are not good, even less price phone have better icons fonts. wallpaper is worst, difficult to find the apps, app search by 1 hand is difficult. very much disappointed and will never choose android in future.. Samsung low budget mobile is better than one plus 5

  • Guys if you are looking for camera, you can blindly go for it. fullfill almost all of the requirement with reasonable price

  • let me guess, you were having a pillow fight and the phone feel 5 feet onto your bed?

  • I am rather surprised camera does not perform well on low light. It has a f/1.7 lens, the same as Samsung. These days, all smartphone cameras shoot acceptable pics in daylight. What sets the quality apart if low light performance. All the other in-camera processing are nice to have but not necessary if you know how to take pics.

  • Upgraded from my One Plus Five star deserved for sure But only my perception related to service support?? And Cost should have been below 30k Superb product Alternative for iPhone performance at lower cost

  • Super fast performance and great battery life. If you are looking for a phone which can last you an entire day, look no further. The dual camera is awesome too! Was

  • Performance 9/10 User interface UI 9/10 (for Apple users - that feel u get when u use apple device) Camera 8/10 Battery 8/10 Build quality 8.5/10 Display 8/10 crisp enough Personal suggestion: Buy only genuine accessories from OnePlus official website it's better to spend on accessories as they are actually quality products to buy. Especially tempered glass screen protector

  • i have been using it for a week now, and its a really good phone, feels premium in the hand, a little slippery because of the rounded edges the EIS works better than i expected, i thought it was really bad because of the reviews of other users, though there are no EIS on 1080p 60fps video, only on 1080p 30fps and other modes like 720p, 4k. my average screen on time was around 6hours, it's very easy to root also. no sd card advantage was fast read and write (if you plan to use your sdcard as internal on other phones it will be slow). like 460mbps read and 200mbps write. no regrets after buying it, feels like i did not get scammed compared to my old lenovo k4 note. the speed difference was expected, it's like im using a bicycle for a year then switched to an airplane kind of feel.

  • SD 835 midrange? that's.. sorry qualcomm

  • it's on snapdragon 835.. if you think that SD835 was midrange then you are insulting qualcomm..

  • hahahahahahaah "Midrange Budget Phone" I havent laugh so much in a while.... This phone is an amazing flagship killer and this fella claims is a budget phone with budget specs lol.

  • This is the best phone that i have bought till now, previously i have owned the Oneplus 3. This phone is buttery smooth. When compared to my Samsung Galaxy S8, i feel this phone is better. I always go back to Oneplus 5. This is slim and the camera is also good. I just love the dash charging in this.

  • Buy without any second thoughts! Crazy phone just one thing, its back is a bit slippery but otherwise no issues at all amazing battery, dash charger is awesome, plus smooth as butter usage!

  • The phone is awesome I'll give 5 stars for all the units and functionality As expected the phone is superb n very stylish

  • Used mine for 2 weeks now awesome phone. Got mine from gizmowizmo

  • i dont think oneplus need to because its still a flagship killer and it benchmark is higher s8..its the best phone performance wise so far with low price..

  • This is a "midrange" budget phone with "midrange" spec and design, the term "flagship killer" is used to hide the fact it's a "midrange" phone, and Oneplus should start focusing on flagship and raise their prices if they want to complete with the likes of Apple and Samsung phones.

  • I have the 6GB model... Design- Looks a lot like iPhone 7 plus which may be a good thing or bad thing for different individual if you know what I mean 😉😉.. But because of the curved body feels better in hand than the iPhone.. Camera- Not the best camera out there especially in low light but still does a great job for the price point..Portait mode works best on good lighting conditions.. Selfies look great both in outdoor and indoor lighting conditions.. should have given OIS...!!! UI- The best UI in my opinion ... close to stock Android but has a lot of customisation options underneath.. Battery- It's going to last you a full day of heavy usage and the dash charge is just a cherry on top... Processor- No need to mention the capabilities of sd835 with a clean UI.. fast and snappy and no heating issues.. Sounds- One of the loudest speaker I have heard but lacks bass, sound from 3.5 mm headphone jack is good.. Fingerprint sensor- Super fast and accurate.. Overall a great phone but if you already have an OnePlus 3 or 3t , wait for OnePlus 6 cause the camera is the practical upgrade here... Definitely a must buy phone at this price range..!!!

  • Used it for more than a month! Phone is very strong.. Internally and externally.!! My phone fell from a height of 5ft and not even a single scratch. The impact was on the screen..! Dont think twice on buying this or an Iphone.. Sexy phone hai bhaiyo.. Lelo :D

  • Be careful with this phone not very sturdy, mine wrapped in OtterBox and fell off the bed now the camera won't focus. 2 weeks old 😠😠

  • Powerful product from OnePlus, I have used every phone of oneplus, This one is best, I have used iPhone 7plus for a month, now using OnePlus 5, OP 5 far better than ip 7+

  • Look & feel it self is gone to a different level amazing screen clarity with great battery backup n brilliant is dash charge

  • Fantastic. Couldn't have asked for anything better. The only thing I hate about is the position of the speaker. I guess it should've been on the back. Bur anyway. What a phone to own. Hands down. Kudos one plus.

  • Awesome phone, pretty high end. Look and feel is so good. Loving it. Glad to be #OnePlus user.

  • Yes not only it supports otg but I tried a 4tb seagate hard drive and it worked fine and shown all drive partitions with all files. Excellent phone to have.

  • Thanks for one plus.perfect this as a mobile.

  • It is a good phone but camera was disappointing.

  • It feels really nice. Look may not be brilliant at the outset but once you hold in hand you will know. Its customized Android screen provided lot of bells and whistles. Battery backup is remarkably good. Never had an android device before which last 2 days in one charge. My usages is quite low. This device lasts 2+ days in one charge for my usages. (I don't receive/make too many calls, don't browse more than 1 hour a day, occasional whatsapp With this it lasts close to 3 days. It also reminds me of my iphone experience which gives excellent battery backup (used 3G to 5S). Price is little bit on higher side for most buyers. . That make the device more attractive. Have not explored the power of the camera yet. Hope someone provides exclusive camera review. Now how long quality lasts with the device remain to be seen. Its a chinese product but truth be told - it meets expectation. They are also closing the gap with iphone quickly. Overall I am loving it.

  • It's been a month I bought this phone I am using more than 100 apps still the phone performance is great. Good specs to buy in this price range

  • Definitely

  • Does it support otg?

  • Loved one plus 5 , it is sleek and light . Looks amazing and great performance with dash charging feature. Overall happy purchase.

  • Touch no problem, very smooth and fast

  • what touch?

  • Awesome phone.. Never settle. All features are there what m looking for.

  • I would say it's the best phone in this range and its a true flagship killer. It has more performance than meets the eye. Also got the free Servify Warrenty.....more than happy to this cellphone

  • Camera clearity is supprb fast turbo charging in 1/2hr totally looks good..... worth for this price

  • Use a tripod, you won't tell a difference.

  • Guys, does camera takes blurry picture without ois? I feared to get one because of this

  • I have never used a much better phone... i have been using apple iphone since more than 6 years but now I think I kept wasting my money on such phones... Guys go for it as it is one of the best phones

  • Camera bump and antenna lines ruin the look of this phone, metal body makes it look like a budget phone. Oneplus should learn from Xiaomi Mi Mix 2

  • Sadly, no IR blaster.

  • Is there IR blaster available for OP5????

  • I love #OP forever. Got it on the very first day release and loving it everyday. #OP5 #OnePlus5 #OPLove

  • G8 performance I feel so super thankful, that i bought this one. Gave a Big Party to my friend who suggested me this Mobil (ONE+5)

  • If you cannot buy an iphone 7 plus still want an android version for it just buy this phone. There cannot be any bad thing about this phone. Almost a perfect invention in every way. Be it the battery which lasts for a day. Camera which is impeccable, and its amazing software and 6GB RAM which is just as fast as anything. If you cannot be happy with this phone then you cannot be happy with any other. Being a Nexus 5 user for 4 years i always wanted a good replacement at a good price. Its a complete package.

  • Very good, don't worry

  • htc11 or oneplus 5, which one is better? May I know if the screen of oneplus 5 is okay? By okay, I means when my finger got wet or sweating, will it be okay to type or slide on it? Will it be smooth? Thanks for the reply. :)

  • Yes, well as you are aware of the jelly affect it is one of the flaws of the one plus 5. However, the effect is not on all the one plus 5 devices, I am using a one plus 5 and luckly I didn't got any problem like that in my phone. However, you can go for the product and if you get the phone with the jelly affect you can get it replaced from Amazon or from the one plus website

  • What is the jelly affect with OnePlus 5 that people have been talking about. I really want to buy this phone but I am reluctant because of the jelly affect. Please explain if the jelly affect issue is that bad.

  • Nope IMO EIS equals to OIS. When filming in 4K on screen you can see the shakingness, but the end result when you watch the videoclips you recorded it's supersmooth, it's better than the Google Pixel imo. It's a different experience. With EIS you get way faster focus time and the images don't look as wabbly as with OIS. The main advantage of OIS is that is doesn't need to crop the images nor do any editing while recording, the hardware does it for you. For me, EIS on the oneplus 5 is far more stable than OIS. i got a nexus 5 and OIS was wobbling it felt weird. EIS may happen too but it's rarely the case, unless you tremble like you're naked on antartica trying to video record

  • Nokia 3310

  • I am using two SIM, very powerful signal.Chek your sim.

  • one plus 5 is loosing there signal every time, but overall good phone

  • Amazing product made by Oneplus team. I congratulate them to present this product to us. About the shipment of this phone, I'm really happy.

  • is it available in south africa

  • Release Jet Black version, would like a glossy design. Uni-metal body is so overrated.

  • Performance and specs oneplus 5 waybetter camera go for huawei p10+

  • Totally a Flagship killer. One plus should start using '' FLAGSHIP KILLER '' as it's tag line again. I was using one plus 3 before, it was an amazing mobile, but the one plus 5 is more better. Don't think just go for it.

  • For better camera and waterproofing feature, go for S8 Plus. But if you don't mind any features from that, go for OnePlus 5. Super smooth performance, better battery life. But the camera on OP5 still competitive with other flagship and wasn't disappointing, but the S8 little bit better.

  • Note 8

  • please what should i buy , S8 plus or One plus 5 !!

  • Best #Phone Only #OnePlus5 and #OnePlus3T

  • Awesome phone. Fabulous speed. The only issue is with its touch. I have an iPhone and the touch of this phone is nowhere near to that. Otherwise it's a fantastic product and no second thoughts in buying it. Battery backup is awesome. So is it's speed.

  • Digital Walker, comes with free case if you are eligible for the promo.

  • One of the best phone in the market. Great specs, I am using it for more than a month and it didn't even hang once. Dash charging feature is awesome, it charges the phone from 10% to 60% in 20 min.. that too without phone getting heated up. Camera clarity is too good. The best thing is operation keys are customisable. Over all a great phone

  • if your main concern on phones was the camera, then you better try other phones instead. the EIS is OK but not good, it kinda crops every frame you are shooting at then centers them to reduce the shaking so you might end up loosing a little area on what you see during the recording (atleast that's what i feel). what i want was a phone to run PPSSPP and dolphin games smoothly, so camera problems doesn't bother me. already bought the phone, kinda thinner and lighter than i imagined. the volume and power buttons rattle a little if you did rattle it manually. speaker was being blocked a little when playing games on landscape mode. jelly scrolling effect is noticeable if you really searched for it. the finger print scanner was fast, like DUDE? wtf? you'll get what i mean once you buy it. because it's light and thin it might slip on your hand so i already ordered dbrand skins. atleast the dbrand skins looks way better than that OP5 special edition scribble on the back style.

  • I think that's in Manila so yeah thanks, Ill check it out

  • planning to buy this phone....can someone tell me is the absence of OIS a big deal in camera functionality as the critics said...?? and how does the durability and build quality go...?

  • Lots of bugs in the phones camera: Please do not buy this phone being tempted by its camera. I am really frustrated on how the video recording works on this phone. I am facing the following two problems and its got worse after update 1. The video frame size is different while recording an saving. Meaning while recording your video it might seem that you are covering a good area, but while playing it, you will notice that you have covered less area than it was actually appearing 2. After the update there is this awful dub.. dub.. dub.. noise when playing recorded videos. Not just me, all my friends were very disappointed on how this so called signature phone works. Hope Oneplus pays attention to this

  • showing it off on public screams 'i am rich'

  • AJT Gadget World near greenbelt for the cheap OP5 or Widget City for a little expensive but near, in my case atleast.

  • So i have a LG G6.. And wat a rubbish phone it looks now after i got onleplus 5 for my wife.. Amazing scrren. Amazing smooth... And best camera in business..

  • Excellent phone with almost the best features I have ever seen currently in this year so far.. I feel 6 GB Ram Variant Is Sufficient enough if you are a normal gamer and its a mind blowing phone with an excellent body design:) Go Buy Yourself This Beast!..Value For Money:) Total Paisa Vasool.💯💯

  • I basically step back in buying phones above 20k , apart from my first smart phone -galaxy S , haven't paid more than 15k for any smartphone but used to change the phone every year. Keeping this in mind, I invested on oneplus5 to be futureproof for at least 3 years as the specfications are top notch. After a month of usage, I am very much satisfied customer and the good thing is Snapdragon 835 and 6 GB ram which helps in performing tasks at lighting speed , it runs on nougat hence you can enable split screen if required ,oxygen os is pretty light and provides near stock Android experience, regular os updates make me happy . The Recent update included eis for 4k video recording. The usp is the dual camera which is good enough for the price range , the dual cam works similar to tech in iPhone 7 plus i.e. wide-angle and telephoto. The images on primary cameras is sharp and colors reproduction is good .sometimes, you need to adjust the exposure using the buitin editor to fix the image. The promode is excellent with lot of features and one should explore it completely before using it. Remember, light is the key for any good photography hence you can take awesome shots when you ensure the lighting is proper . Low light photography is decent enough and one should not expect similar to dslr due to iso limitations on the smartphone . Thanks front cam is great for selfies , even though there is no front flash, the screen acts as flash during low light conditions and the selfies are great in low light as well. The phone doesn't heat up with contious usage and battery backup is more than a day with typical/normal usage . Dash charging is one awesome feature which quick charges the phone .unlike other quick chargers , the phone or the charger doesn't get heated up during charging. The full HD display is good enough for sunlight reading hence I don't see the need of qhd display .It would have been good if ois was included and display was bezless .

  • Got mine from Digital Walker, they are quite knowledgeable about the product. They have a sample phone of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage but mostly the available are the 6GB one. Bought the 6GB variant 2 weeks ago, you will not be disappointed.

  • oneplus 5 is a better phone, but not for camera which p10 plus has an amazing camera made by leica.

  • Which would be a better option One Plus 5 or Huawei P10+ ? Base on performance and Specs.

  • Same I find here in China (Chengdu city). I'm here as foreigner and when I try to ask about OP they give me owl look. Even with a very slow English I can't make them understand that it is a Chinese brand. If I tell them it is a brand like Xiaomi then the bell rings and they start showing me Xiaomi phones (that I didn't ask them). I see chinese sellers don't even know the name even I show them picture from internet. :(

  • May i know if OP5 supports dual app?

  • Where specifically did u got the phone. Local retailer here in the Philippines doesn't know the Brand much and tends to offer The P10+ and S8 or Note 8

  • It's really a flagship killer. I love the design of the phone most importantly it's superb fast and fingerprint sensor is amazing

  • Whos camera best

  • Yes, it's very tough. Apple iPhone is more of a status symbol

  • Do a comparison with the compare feature and decide. Price too is a factor.

  • hi to all plz suggest me which one of the best p10 plus and one plus5,.....which one i m buy & why?

  • hello , i have used this phone for exactly one month and i decided to review it , the phone is simply great and i have always been a fan of stock android and this is super powerful and fast and offers a stock android experience with a lot of customizations and features derieved from linegage os . the camera is stunning and takes stunning shots even in low light and no to forget the depth effect. i have used to play games , watch videos , read books etc etc and it does everything with no lag whts so ever i couldnt find anything wrong with this phone except the battery life could have been better and the look is a copy of apple ! the battery lasts a day comfortably with heavy use too but some of its competitors can last more than a day ! dash charge is a charm charging the phone from 0-100 in about 1H 33m . for a user like me who is an android lover and dont care about the bloatware skins that MI or samsung offer and just love stock android this is the best phone u can buy ! the best feature about the one plus 5 is its price of 32000 , which is inasne for its specs , the same Snapdragon 835 and 6 gb of ram costs more than 60000 if u buy the samsung s8 or the google pixel and they dont even have dual cameras

  • I'm using this mobile from last one month. OP5 is just awesome.. till now phone didn't hangs. You will be in love with dash charger and camera. I'm in just love with dash charger. UI is just awesome and almost stock Android experience. Oxygen OS added small improvement which you think these are small but very helpful. Portrait mode is awesome. I had never worried about ram management in this device. Design is more attractive than it looks on Amazon. When I saw my friends OP5 it's stunning. In negative you can say no water resistant. If you are thinking phone on 33-38k and flagship device than just go for it.....

  • May i know if OP5 does support dual apps in its system? Like xiaomi and huawei?!

  • I was confused between lg g6 and this.after so much r& d finally i bought lg g6 .this phone is awesome.

  • Got it.Soft Gold.Wondeful attraction.Sexy look.Butter smooth and silky.Using pixel rounded icons through default launcher.Great performance.

  • @Vioo People keep complaining about the lack of a SD slot on this phone, so here are the facts. I ran Geekbench on my OP5 and it showed that the camera can take 5.69 pictures/sec, and the camera memory score was 26.9 pictures/sec. There isn't a mobile phone in existence using a SD card to store pictures that can work that fast. SD cards are a slow, antiquated, obsolete form of storage that is redundant on phones made today; and that is why manufacturers are no longer supporting them.

  • Yes, bought one 2 weeks ago. Very pleased with the performance.

  • A big YES to this. Used it for two weeks and DAMN! So smooth and fast. Definitely a keeper.

  • Simply a great phone because of following factors: - Great camera - Dash charging is super fast. - No lag: all memory intensive applications runs smoothly. - Light weight, easy to handle. - Fingerprint is accurate and fast.

  • Given Qualcomm didn't release a new SoC the 5T won't bring much to the table, only a glass back to update their iPhone 7 Plus copy to the new iPhone 8 Plus.

  • REALLY SATISFIED. WORTH EVERY PENNY. No doubt Oneplus 5 is by far the most fastest and buttery smooth phone in the market now. All the technical Pros and Cons u may already have known by now. But at this price range, its really a VALUE FOR MONEY. After using it for around 1 month now, i got to say that Yes I am Satisfied, ALL THAT MATTERS. - Oneplus 5 is really very fast. - Camera performance is quite good. - Dash Charging is a Miracle. - Battery backup is Awesome, full day for a regular android user. - Amoled Screen really is great. - Speakers are quite good and audible. - Only cons is the lack of Sdcard slot and 2k Screen resolution. OVERALL VERY SATISFIED AND RECOMMENDS EVERYONE TO TRY ONCE....

  • Honestly, it's a beast! Dude it's a flagship killer what else do you want? It's a great phone for students, even though the 10% student discount is not available in India. Plus after using it for sometime I feel this phone has enough features required for a tech geek with a budget. The things I like the most about this phone are camera quality, easy user interface(Oxygen OS is awesome), dash charging, and many things. I recommend OnePlus as a phone for young developers as after rooting this phone you gain access to many things. Great product from OnePlus

  • Beautiful phone with the best performance ever. Bought it in exchange offer

  • Equipped with the latest technology and dual rear camera and a very sleek body, takes you further.

  • Everything is perfect.. peoe were saying about poor battery life but actually the battery life is pretty good.. In the morning i charge my mobile fully, i never off 4g mobile data whole day, play some online games and use whatsapp fb whole day still battery remains 50% in evening 7-8 pm.. m quite happy with my mobile and didn't find any con

  • op5ftw

  • Choosing between Oneplus 5 and iPhone 7 is not that easy. I read that hardware-wise, the Oneplus 5 has more capacity and better handgrip. However software wise, choose iPhone 7 if you like iOS better (Thx Captain Obvious) and OnePlus 5 if you like near-stock android with some unique additional features (ex: Alert slider, screen-off gestures...)

  • How about iPhone 7plus and one plus 5 which is better

  • If OnePlus wants to create 5T, hope they add OIS on camera, waterproofing feature and keep the low price. It would be flagship killer.

  • its an amazing phone. Using it since 2 weeks and loving it :)

  • This one may not be a total failure but gave disappointment to many who are now looking for better options in future releases.

  • Yes comes with VoLTE

  • Yes, via Digital Walker. Bought mine already. 2 weeks old.

  • based on their event description, it would be just the looks not the hardware, like their release on the midnight black edition of oneplus 3

  • I will buy later! From Vivo v3 max to oneplus 5...

  • Op5 more better than

  • I wonder why lots of people selling oneplus 5 in local online classifieds rather it is still new launch.

  • Is the phone available in Philippines or any parts of Asia?

  • Any bady tell me One plus 5 come with volt

  • Oneplus could possibly release 5T on September 19, since the Oneplus 5 was a total failure.

  • Hello everyone, I recently shifted myself from Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to OnePlus 5 - 8GB. I bought my Note 4 in 2015 January and since then I am a loyal follower of Note Series. It's stylus, large screen and big battery helped me a lot in various creative things I did for being online business we had to use several applications and tools to monitor the performance of website and a lot of day to day designing stuff for ads and marketing. I waited a lot for Note7 refurbished version for almost 6 months. The current battery is my 4th original Samsung battery. Everytime I replace the battery it gives a new avatar to it. After a long wait when I came to know the price of Note8 is going to be somewhere around 70k and that too after waiting almost a month after it's launch I prepared myself for my first One Plus Mobile. I was sure I needed more RAM for multi tasking and openening several apps simultaneously. So I went with 8GB model. Thanks to Amazon exchange which got me discounted at 34k against a spare Moto. One more advantage I got was for cash back of 2k with Axis Bank which I may get in around November. The experience of shifting to a new Brand is indeed dicy. It is a risk. But believe me after using it for almost a week with rigorous usage and long hours of screen time for multiple apps, I feel I don't need a laptop now. I mean wow. No matter how many apps I open in background the swapping is like bread and butter. Thanks to Snapdragon series 8 processor. OnePlus has earned the trust of performance at Rock bottom prices. Had this configuration under Samsung Brand it would have been a minimum of 75k price tag. Literally I can have 2 Oneplus 5 - 8GB at the price of Note 8. What's better than that. And there is hardly anything like stylus and 9:18.5 ratio screen size which is not there in Oneplus 5 which is not that needful at that this price. Even Note8 has lesser RAM than this. The built quality is at par. The camera quality is considerably good. The dual camera is capable enough of replacing the SLR camera in good day light with Portrait Mode. Battery is good enough to handle the full day with GPS and Bluetooth enabled for any wearable device. Best part - Combination of Processor + RAM + Oxygen OS Loved : the Black Theme with Blue Icons The screen looks like super technologically sound device when turning to Black Theme. After several years under boring Touch Wiz of Samsung it gives a good feeling with such changes in theme. I know change always gives fantacy initially but that's why I am writing this review after intense use and under normal mood conditions. Nothing excited or over exaggeration. These features if provided at 50k is not worth. But yes when you get lucky enough to get them all at 32k it's jackpot. I remember I bought my Note 4 at 57k in January 2015 which was equivalent to the price of bike I drove. Overall - to conclude in one line. It's worth at this price specially if you are into creative profile using multiple things else to with 6GB version. Attaching the photo I captured with OnePlus 5.

  • oneplus 5 is better

  • Best phone phone in this price segment

  • Awesome phone. No word to say ❤️❤️❤️

  • It's a good mobile. RAM is very fast.

  • Super experience till now..modium range best phone..camera quality very nice with light..but in dim light photo quality that good...overall satisfied with phone

  • Brilliant phone at pocket friendly price. I changed my iPhone 6 to buy this and it is surely an upgrade.

  • Hi! I wanna buy this one. Can you suggest me among LG g6 and OP5 which one would be better?

  • Can someone tell me how op5 is equivalent to Mi A1.......Both has almost same spec, except dash charging, megapixel variation, processor,ram(2GB less), battery 300mah less for mi) ?. Cam samples are almost identical.......looking to buy op5 as I really like it.....but mi costs only 15k...while difference in features mentioned above costs double price for op5.

  • Is there any chance of getting oneplus 5T ???

  • ????

  • You might want to get OnePlus 5 since it's cheaper and have more ram.

  • the size of Pictures and Videos are getting big and the more storage the better, 32Gb is minimum, 64GB decent, 128GB is great and 256GB is Futureproof.

  • bought 1+1 now switched to 1+5 only point i would like to mention is that this phone charges super fast. will buy 1+10 next!

  • Best phone... Awesome battery life, Performance like beast, Camera is best, Slim looks and stylish design, Dash charger which charge mobile from 0 to 100% in 70-75 minutes... Pure value for money phone. Must buy.

  • can surely give a five star. The Swift response is amazing. Processor is very fast and smooth. Crystal clear display and Photo images are other adva

  • I don't like Oneplus 5 bezels, too huge and curved profile makes it looks like an iPhone. I do think that Oneplus 3T gunmetal looks unique and moreover the design looks better with D-brand black titanium skin.

  • I just don't for the life of me understand why would anyone need more than 100 GBs on a smartphone... I just don't get it. I have the Oneplus 5 128GB/8GB Ram and I bought this edition only because I wanted to future proof it as much as possible, but I already move all of my personal files, Photos, Videos.. I have already installed all of the games I play(Some weight a lot like Final Fantasy Record Keeper or Fate GO) also move all of my music to the phone and even download a bunch of 1080P 60 FPS videos through Tubemate to my phone and all I'm using of storage is 48Gbs. I need nothing else so I have about 70 GBs to spare which I probadly won fill ever. and even if I did it would be of junk stuff I don't need and all I have to do is delete and have those 70 to spare again because again with the 48Gbs Im using I have all I need. so please could you or anyone explain to me why would anyone need more than 100Gbs of storage on a phone? let alone +200Gbs? what do you have in there that you need on your phone? Movies? I mean Even I could donwload a couple and still all that would accomplish is about another 20Gbs of storage use but if you tell me you have +200Gbs worth of movies on a SD Card which you would like to have access on your phone well.... I would be Flabbergasted.

  • is it the opposite? it's easier to carry around a OTG flash drive that can be attached to keys like a keychain rather than a micro sd card that might get lost because it's so thin and you have to swap your sim2 whenever you need to put in the sdcard on the G6. and of course don't forget the sim ejecting tool. unless you are a one sim only user that's not a problem. although owning two phones with different simcards each will be another solution. which is bothersome to carry.

  • Sounds like a network issue, not a mobile phone issue. Better test your SIM on a different phone.

  • This is a ultra thin amazing cell phone with latest power pack features. Dash charging is appreciate, a new technology without hearing the phone while charging. In one word " Excellent phone"

  • I am writing this review after 5 days of usage, I ordered 6 Gb ram varient which is capable of doing all stuff, i dont think you should go for 8 Gb varient - Pros - it seems batter than Iphone for me as it offer most features in half of cost. awesome look nice battery very fast charging brilliant display No lags Best camera - both rear as well as front Fast internet fast fingerprint sensor Great operating system best features fro one plus clear call quality CONS - only con is that it does not show the SAR values by dialing ussd code - *#07# little slippery, you have to use a cover

  • the special edition is just a collab with Colette (just like the OnePlus 3T)

  • yes there's a special edition coming soon

  • no

  • the jello effect has been fixed? or still there? plan to get this phone? Compare to s8 which one is better?

  • Could anyone suggest me, XZ, S7 edge or OP5?

  • Which one is better lg g6 or oneplus 5.i m confused between these two.only on

  • Is there a rumored "Special Edition"?

  • It's easy to carry around a SD card and getting an extra 200+GB of storage with something the size of your fingernail is nice to have

  • Always i like sony brand but after getting this i became oneplus fan.

  • I'm writing this review after using ONE plus 5 for 3 weeks. This phone is Best as on this date. I compared it with Samsung S7 which is of same price segment when it comes to specs, ONE plus 5 is way ahead of Samsung S7 also performance wise it is better than S7. Also, specs wise it is better than S8 on some aspects but when I used both I found S8 to be much more smooth and fast but S8 seemed very fragile and costs double than OP5. I found two cons though which is you won't get perfect fit of tempered glass on both OP5 and S8 coz they both have curved screens. Secondly, when you restart OP5 the fingerprint scanner won't recognize your finger and you have to unlock using pin or pattern but once done the fingerprint scanner will work perfectly..It is more of a bug which can be fixed with the updates. So, I conclude if you want value for money phone with a price tag which is affordable as on 13th Sept 2017 Go for OP5 or else if you have deep pockets then go for Samsung S8 or even Note 8 both are really good options 👍 I have noticed No lag No hang No phone heating problems Dash charger works well Battery lasts up to 1 full day

  • Great phone with great features. What a performance I must say. The camera of this phone is very rich. Trust me, if you go for it, you'll never regret. Don't think before buying because it's a beautiful device. So stylish...

  • I read some where before Oneplus 5 was announced there was rumours about ceramic design, it could happen but I doubt it because metal is more popular than glass or ceramic. If by any chance they may as well release a special edition Oneplus 5 with ceramic design. I don't think metal is expensive to produce, that's why it's prone to scratches, unless I think it's a special edition which may have glass body IP68 waterproof protection, who knows...

  • Network issue i am using Vodafone network 3 g but when ever i call other person on call complains voice crack even though my network is full

  • The Best Phone in the market Right now. Do not compromise or compare. Just Buy this and experience the best mobile experience ever. Loved it.

  • By Launching Of OnePlus 5 Has Been Much Awaited For OnePlus Users But This Handset Can Be Improved More As Per Users Experience. Here Are Some Pros And Cons. Pros: Ergonomic And Light Good Primary Camera Very Good System And App Performance Fast Charging Works Very Well Handy Software Features Cons: Uninspiring Design Weak Sunlight Legibility Dual Camera Setup Feels Half-Baked No Stabilisation At 4K

  • OnePlus 5 is planning to roll a Special edition by September end adding key features. Hopefully, the new one takes care of jelly problem and improve camera performance. Have not purchased OP 5 so far, now waiting for the special edition.

  • Oneplus 5T needs to have ceramic glass body and bring back 3T design chassis, good battery life endurance and OIS camera functionality.

  • good phone not so good to be compared all the time with an iphone 7 ripoff but compensates with the superb interface and screen resolution great battery life and not so much heating issues overall a good device to last at least 3-4 years even more if you adquire the 8/128 version not so many phones until this year and probably next will compete in that

  • Great camera.. smooth operation.. nice design.. great with gaming.. etc

  • In just few lines I would say .. best gift I have got from my dad .. must buy worth money .. grt speed & camera is grt .. all in all 4.9 out of 5. 1 point is left bcz in normal msg to keep chat wallpaper is not there in d settings like other few phones. Rest everything I loved it 😎😘.. OnePlus 5 must buy 😁😊

  • Simply the best one on the market right now. The thing that I had a little concern before buying this was the display quality. It has a 1080p panel while the others are providing quad hd panels but the display quality is too nice to even think that it is a 1080p display. Battery backup is also good. I'll just spend 30 to 45 mins for charging this everyday. Which took me a minimum of 30% battery left after heavy usage. Good phone to spend money on

  • most people prefer G6 simply because it got an expandable memory. the problem for me is that the sd card slot was on SIM2 slot, too troublesome to remove my sim2 just to insert an SD card. why not just use an OTG flash drive? LG G6 more durable? the front and back are made of glass try dropping it. no water proofing on OP5? im not aquaman anyway so it's fine. but it the looks department, G6 was way better of course. but i don't use a phone like a jewerly, i use it as a high tech tool...

  • Get off welfare then. $400-$500 phones normally only get you mid range phones! OP5 competes with high end phones for 30%-50% cheaper. But since your statement I recommend a ZTE flip phone $40. Maybe you can afford that one!

  • It sucks a down grade of the note 2. Yet still priced at $489

  • @Richardson expendable - designed to be used only once and then abandoned or destroyed.

  • Nope, it has no SD Card and no IR blaster...

  • If u want than go for g6 because this phone doesn't having memory card slot.

  • I need expendable memory.i m confused between this and LG G6.G6 having lesser ram but g6 having much screen resolution and more compact and durable.

  • Very poor service support.i will never buy this one

  • Yes bro LG G6 is the best device on that segment

  • This is good but in this price i wiil prefer LG G6.because that phone is much compect and more durable.

  • so, you use a oneplus 1 and you're saying people to go to IOS? dafuq? you're jealous because your friend had the big deal and not you? The oneplus 5 is better in every aspect than the oneplus 1. The looks, the amoled screen, ceramic fingerprint sensor, faster network chip (snapdragon 835 intergrated), much better battery managment, huge improvement on the camera department, fastest charging phone, etc.... The oneplus 5 vs the iphone 7 sorry to inform you but the oneplus beats the iphone with the latest camera updates, you can look for any review out there. The iphone just sucks at low light while the oneplus 5 just demolishes it. Iphone reproduces better colours but the oneplus 5 wins again with crispness and more detailled. Iphone has better whites but pictures are blurred up close. Don't say bullshit over the internet just because you don't own a onpleus 5, you don't need to send peolpe to iSheep

  • I absolutely love this phone! So here is the thing, am not a gamer or someone who downloads or watches movies on my phone. I bought this phone for its looks, user friendliness and the camera. On all those three counts this phone is excellent. It is responsive, the OS is simple and easy and the pictures from the phone are fantastic. Even in low light. The battery easily lasts me more than a day, even though I have three email accounts and multiple social media apps running at all times. Looks wise I love the soft gold, always had black as my phone, but this is just beautiful.

  • This is by far the best phone of 2017 irrespective of The S8 or iphone 7 plus. Oneplus has everything what a user wants .I was mesmerised by the fingerprint sensor ,there is no such sensor till now which is as fast and as acurate as this its just works evry time in less than A fraction of a second. The s8 us has got an amazing screen but do u really need that much screen when u r palm will someti.e awake the phone.

  • It's an Android legacy. Pure perfection and class. All the technical reviews u can get it over YouTube. Full marks to the product.

  • This is the best android phone ever its faster than fantasy. I promise if you use it once you will not be able to use any other phone.

  • maybe now, but 2 weeks ago in europe we could only order the 64 solf gold or grey

  • True that

  • I am a owner of oneplus one recently i used op5 of my friend only two features found best over op 1 camery, battery and dash charger otherwise it is good. If u buy one plus 5 for only camera u will be disappointed u should go for iphone. Thxs

  • Writing Review from the very phone about it. No complaints about that. OP needs no introduction.Cheers

  • Snapdragon 835 is simply awesome,Smooth Stock Android Experience, Worth a buy, give it a try!!

  • After 3 weeks of usage : Pros : Camera is just beauty! Attached are my pic all taken with one plus 5. Looks decent with awesome HD display. Open 20 apps and still there is no lag at all. Comes in handy when you can't carry camera Dash charger, charges it super fast and can be used for a day even with heavy use. Check out sample images attached all taken from phone(and edited afterwards) Cons : however camera is good but too much noise in low light. Observed a bug many times videos just keep on bufferring (clearing all open apps resolves the issue).

  • Started using it by 5AM, 100%. I am an active user as well, mostly on my phone with Data, Social Media and Games. When I got home at around 6PM, I still have 10% left to use. So far it looks good.

  • Is anybody knows about battery life..??

  • I thought I saw their website updated selling the Midnight Black 64 GB

  • How about Mi Note 3 - just launched today

  • pros: excellent speed - no hanging/slowing down while using multiple apps amazing memory awesome dash charging battery life excellent sleek and slim - light weight amazing resolution camera good cons: on zooming, resolution of pic is not as sharp as it shd be. MX player (company installed app) very slow in loading videos and shuts down very often while viewing videos OVERALL LOVED THE PHONE... THATS THE REASON GIVING 5 STARS....

  • If Hyundai makes a beast fast enough close to a Lambo, but still looks like an average family sedan, with a price tag of US$50k Can we call it a budget beast ?

  • U should make a reference as to compared with which other phone Check out youtube - camera comparison with iPhone 7+ and S8 But OP5 is half the price - worth it or not for u ? If budget's not an issue, then easy answer, right, go for better camera phone.

  • Great phone without unwanted complications. Oxygen OS is simple yet loaded with features. Display is great at this price, Processor is zoom. Total worth!

  • How is it cemra

  • I heard that photo taken from this phone are soft and has alot of noise...is that true???

  • Bought this phone last month and so far it has been an amazing experience so far!!! Pros : Awesome processor which provides very fast operation. Super fast charging. Goes from 15 to 90% in like an hour. Camera is simply spectacular. Photos never looked this good. Portrait mode is something else. Quality of music is surprisingly very good. Overall audio as well for calls. The fingerprint scanner is a revelation. Unlocks the phone in the blink of an eye.

  • BUDGET???What? This phone still goes for 4-500 USD.Thats not budget

  • a budget phone with such an exciting features.......

  • what abt the high SAR value of this model..isn't it a bothering thing? it's greater than any other flagship devices like S8 or G6..its around 1.39W/kg in India , close to the tolerance limit of 1.6W/kg in India

  • it's not that the camera was really bad, it's just that they over advertised it like it was really really good when it isn't. over-advertisment just made it look bad because it generates customer expectations. for example, when Oneplus informed us that they will do a partnership with DxO to create a good camera, of course people will expect some big improvement. but in reality, DxO never released any statements regarding their partnership with Oneplus and their score on DxO mark was just average compared to other flagship phones. it's not a bad score but not the score what the Hype train expected with that over-advertisment. but despite that, i don't care too much of the camera, i got a DSLR Camera, i'm still gonna buy the OP5 64gb version on my next paycheck.

  • nope, xiaomi mi6 does not work for tmobile in the US so it's a no go!!

  • One of the best android phones for modding, but why is there negative reviews about the camera, is it really that bad?

  • Good phone, extremely value of money.Everything perfect.

  • yeah, they over advertised the camera too much, it even got a sample picture inside the box. the performance of the camera isn't on flagship-killer level but it's also not that bad compared to mid-range. i think OP5 will still be fine if they did not advertise the camera too much because their strong points was not about that, it just break expectations. other phones that doesn't have "clearer photos" on their boxes literally got clearer photos than OP5 which is kinda sad.

  • Very smooth interface..Superb performance Dash charging is wonderful (30min charge from 21% to 86%) Camera has improved alot after the latest update (HQ mode in the HDR panel is pretty good..adds alot of detail into the picture, they come out very smooth and the quality of the images are great) Low light images are surprisingly good. Battery life is pretty good! Got about 6hours 32mins of screen on time with 21% battery left! Build quality is excellent (little slippery..needs a case) Speaker sound quality pretty good and it's quite loud for a mono speaker. Display quality is also really good..colors pop and one of the best I've seen out of all the Full HD phones I've used.

  • Best phone in the category, No company can beat the price for an 8 GB RAM phone, best camera after iphone, in some cases in par with iphone, experince from this phone is amazing

  • Are you sure "beauty mode" isn't on? Or some other filter

  • Camera is pathetic, sadly it was advertised as a camera centric smartphone, but it really disappoints in camera department, Better go to some other brands if you prefer a good camera, rest everything is great !

  • Bought this phone a month back Performance is very good..however camera disappoints..photos appear like oil painted pictures...not recommended for photography lovers

  • I bought one plus 5, 3 days back. Calls hang while speaking sometimes.any one knows the fault

  • More unique? Really ? Use the gsmarena's compare feature and put in oneplus 3T and htc m9 or m8 or m7.

  • go for mi 6 cheaper better camera higher antutu rating ir blaster currently with miui 8 oneplus 5 opens apps and games faster but if you look at mi6 with miui 9 alpha vs op5 you see it easily beats oneplus 5 even in ALPHA release !!!!!! and it will become much better after stable release but.... lack of band 20 !!!!!!!!!!!!! check if your country uses this band or not if yes then go for oneplus 5 because you might not able to access 4g without band 20 if used in your country check at :

  • Really loved the phone. Buttery smooth interface, very good battery backup, and no heating. Jelly effect while scrolling is there but won't notice unless you are looking for it, that's the only issue I had.

  • I'm in the same confusion The mi6 has fast charging as well due to SD835 My current op3 broke its lcd so op charged me £90 for new genuine so with mi6 you won't get that luxury of service and mi6 also have smaller battery than previous models and I heard catches scratches very easily On top of that no band 20 so no 4g for O2 in uk But it's cheaper, better looking and best feature is Ir blaster which I can't live without,

  • Simple Superb Fast Fabulous Camera Elegant And Efficient

  • The best android phone ☺️ I have iphone 7 also but my daily driver is one plus 5

  • Enjoying OnePlus 5 device...First of all I felt it is so costly for me but after buying it I feel great ... This is my First experience with something new device.. crazy mobile..I always had a dream of using iPhone and this device made it possible with perfect Price ... I'm loving it Was this review helpful to you?

  • used to think the same, In fact I have the Oneplus 5 128GBs of storage because I was really sad that it has no expandable memory and I was like well At least this version shouls suffice. but boy I now understand why they didnt add the Micro Sd. the internal storage of this phone is blazing fast! a Microsd would just slow it down a lot! it's a technology that really needs to evolve and soon.

  • don't listen to that guys telling you to go for the Lg G6(Which is TERRIBAD, Specially considering is supposed to be this years flagship my Girlfriend has it) or the Galaxy S7 Edge which is a one year old phone. I have the Oneplus 5 and you are gonna love it! I do have the 128GB/8GB Ram version so my recommendation to your question would be to save a lil'bit more and go for the Oneplus 5 with 128GB/8GB. its the smoothes phone I have ever had and the battery life is just soo amazing! another reason to ditch Lg G6, it's battery life is extremely dissapointing.

  • @darryl1819 Micro SD cards are an outdated type of memory and are not really fast enough for today's phones. It's like buying an brand new PC and sticking a 10 year old hard drive on the side. As phone memory's have increased the need for 'external' memory has become redundant.

  • Why is the camera EIS? I heard the camera shakes like earthquake, is this true? Not mention the design looks pathetic and childish with curved corners which look like Samsung front and iPhone back cover. I actually prefer the 3T design, more unique, premium build quality but 3T has poor camera. I cannot decide so I should wait for the next flagship Oneplus phone.?

  • LG g6 or if you can't find a good deal go for the s7 edge

  • Guys.. I need your opinions, should I buy OP5 64gb or OP3t 128gb?? Thanks!!

  • why must phones like this always have no memory slots, like phones company are doing a "either lose the memory slot or lessen the battery", wtf?!?!?! can someone find phones that dont do this kind of thing?

  • please suggest me which one is better mi 6 or one plus 5???

  • Please let me know what is included in the box for OnePlus 5. Does it have pre installed screen protector? Also please tell me if it has heating issues while playing games.

  • Earphones not include. If you are that disappointed just throw it away and stop your whinning.

  • Bought it during Great Indian sale with both exchange and cashback option. Cost about 27k. By far the best mobile i have used. Sleek, awesome and buttery smooth performance. Camera is amazing in good lighting, on par with top dogs from Galaxies and iPhones. Low light images can be better. - Silky performance. Top notch. - Best 1080p display i have used so far though(Similar to 3T). Had no Jelly effect or anything. - After few updates i really could tell the difference in the camera department. Stabilization is much better, blur in the edges of the subjects in portrait mode is improved but not 100% perfect. - Speakers are louder for a single speaker grill. - On paper the complaints about the design being similar to that of iPhone 7 can be justified but once you start using it, its a different story. The front feels more like previous one plus 3/3T. On the hand the feel is different and for sure not like an iPhone. With time you would forget the back design being similar to that of iPhone :P - No gimmicky features. Found most the features provided apart from vanilla android were useful. - Best value for money. In my opinion one plus provides the most smooth android experience than other brands. If only you need a slightly better camera mainly in low light or for water resistance, would suggest Galaxy S8/S8 plus or the new iPhone. Or if you already own a OnePlus 3/3T, i would suggest you to wait for OnePlus 6, pretty sure it will look much cooler with minimal bezels and other requested features like water resistance and increased display resolution. If you don't care about it not being a bigger brand like Samsung or Apple, would strongly recommend this phone.

  • Never had a black phone I guess....

  • Hi All, I have Brought the OP5 two day back.. Phone looking very nice and Performance is excellent it look like same Iphone 7 Plus...Price is little costly but worth phone for higher end users..

  • Thanks. You made my day

  • No jellyeffet I didn't noticed yet I tried hard , if jellyeffet was your only concern You should go for it

  • t's an absolutely mind blowing phone packed with some powerful features. Probably the best phones of 2017

  • after one week using of one+5 now i am giving a review. phone looks great. performance supb. camera mind blowing. but problem is that. they didn't include earphone in accessories. i have purchased it on another website and that's was costly.

  • Battery life is also amazing!

  • I don't know what you mean by if "the performance matches the look." I can tell you that this is the fastest phone I have ever used from the fingerprint reader to performance all around. The portrait mode is a wonderful addition and works well enough for me. Speaker is louder than I expected and I am coming from a Galaxy Note 4. Performance is 10/10 for me.

  • Has anyone actually bought and used the phone? I need honest opinion about the phone guys. Does it performance match the look?

  • Is it a added clique, or defect! Still don't know how to create folder add all similar apps in. Available scarcely and no resale. Price is too high demand

  • between the gray and midnight black i would rather pick the midnight black (matte) damn shame only the 128GB variant has that. I opted for the 64GB variant.

  • Jelly effect very nice, smooth and fast.Easy and comfortable.Dont worry.

  • I'm just wondering, what camera module does Oneplus 5 use? And last question, if you unlock bootloader and flash AOSP ROM will it degrade the camera quality? I miss Adway, Titanium backup, battery calibration and other rooted apps.

  • very good phone with two camera setup and stable prosesor and ballanced hardware .......its my fabrate phone..thank you

  • You buy one plus 5.lot of launcher .l using Google launcher.Beatiful interface.Smooth and fast.

  • It might be a good phone, but OnePlus customer service is AWFUL. I will never buy a OnePlus product again.

  • I am interested to buy OnePlus 5 but then when I see people reviews about jelly effects makes disappointed cos I really want this phone and I also don't want the jelly affect on my phone. Please guys advise me if there is such issue with OnePlus 5. Should I go for it or not?

  • DEciding which one to buy Google Pixel, Samsung S8 or OnePlus 5? You'll not be disappointed, infact you'll love it.except for water resistance. But that's not a deal breaker for most of you and if it is you need to shell out 20k extra. Camera,Processor,Screen,Battery,Display and great software experience. Everything is Great. Go for it.

  • I bought this phone on the first week of its release. Till date it's working wonderful. No issues. I work around people who mostly use Apple and have iPhone 6s nd 7 but when they used mine 1+5, they were surprised with the quality and feel of this handset. It's batter then 7s even in many aspects. It's actually your choice if you want to pay 1.8x times of your money just to show an apple on the back of your phone, which will be hidden once you'll use a protective case. Forgot to tell, many of those using iPhone 7 have their what's app dp clicked by mine OnePlus 5.😉😉

  • I'll rate this product 5/5 anytime. Best smartphone in this price range. If you are thinking of buying this smartphone just go for it. It's almost a month I am using this smatphone, have not encountered any issues. Camera - 5/5 Overall - 5/5

  • Go for it. It's better than i7 no doubt. Nothing fault with camera, battery life etc.. Really worth for the cost.

  • All my phones i owned 've never encountered that. Nor with my Oneplus 5.. It's something where you're at and something about your clothes. I don't even use a case and the phone has no dust whatsoever.

  • POCKET* is what i said, not the damn room. Read the damn comment first and it's a real issue

  • Ye, only because you ask for it, oneplus will make only 1 limited edition OnePlus 5T with ip certification only for you pal.

  • Just clean your room

  • And one more thing, when u put the call on the speaker, the other party can hear you as long as you're holding your phone right next to you, if you leave like 1 m away, they wont hear a single thing! NOT A THING! Why no one remembered to mention these things on any damn forum?? Is there any fix for this issue, or it's simply the way this phone is?

  • Best mobile I had used till now.wortful for the cost. You will fall love with the camera. Fullly satisfied. Go for it.

  • I've been using this phone from about 2 weeks.Everything in this phone is top notch.Nothing to worry.Except the thing that this company is advertising the most, the camera(not the front camera, it's great).Camera is not so bad but not so good.My Samsung S5 take good pics than this.Thats why rating it 4 stars. If you can compromise in this department then you will just love this machine because i am really enjoying it.One thing more that there is no music player in this device so there is no equilizer. You have to use third party app.Go for 'Poweramp', it is the best for this device.

  • very nice device ...looks very good and display quality is awesome..best battery backup and charges in mintues..overall value for money

  • So, everyone remembered to give their thoughts on the performance and similar preferences, BUT NO ONE remembered to mention that OP5 is a bloody DUST MAGNET! It attracts dust like its a completely standard feature of the phone. Whenever I take it out of the pocket, those whole screen is fully covered in dust, and I've never had a similar issue with any other phone so far. Why does this keep happening?? People pay attention to this. I'm getting a dust proof spray tomorrow to spray it all over the damn phone, and if that doesn't fix the issue, I'll go and sell it, because this is absolutely unacceptable!

  • Souq.com Official retailer in UAE

  • Is there anyone who is currently in UAE and have bought OnePlus 5 in UAE. Please guide me where to buy OnePlus 5in UAE. Also please let me know if it worths 1800 dirhams.

  • Check out site sarshield. There you will find sar value . but u will have to search for it.Also I don't know whether it is for indian version or for western countries.

  • OnePlus 5T avitabile next Snapdragon 836 nov.2017!

  • OnePlus 5T? There will never be a T iteration anymore. OnePlus did that to 3T because they're Chinese and they're afraid of the number 4. The next OnePlus will be OnePlus 6!

  • what is SAR value in Indian One plus 5 dual SIM handset? Pls confirm

  • For the simple reason for it's hardware capabilities. More Ram, 4x times more powerfull CPU/GPU. Be lucky the endurance is almost identical to devices launched 3-4 years ago.

  • After numerous attempts to fix my Nexus 6P, I had to give up when service center folks told me that I have to shell another 20k to replace its motherboard. To be honest, I have given a thought. Why you ask??. Camera and Display. I had it for a year and I have loved taking pictures and videos from it. The rear camera is an important aspect for me when I'm out, looking for a phone. So after making up my mind, I finally decide to go for OnePlus 5. So here's my quick review after 2 weeks of usage. Performance:- Not diving into the details. I bought the 6GB/64GB variant as I think this would be more than enough. But combined with Snapdragon latest processor this phone is SNAPPY!!!. And to be honest, it's too quick sometimes. Thanks to latest Android Nougat and Oxygen OS on top of it, any app, you name it, will open in a flash. There are few apps out there which have some compatibility issues, which I think is specific to this model only(generic apps like VLC player), and I'm hoping fix might be on the way. Otherwise, usage wise, its Fluid!!. Design & Display The design is again great(though I would prefer if OP can come with their unique blueprints), though the metal on the back makes it quite slippery, which makes buying a case necessary. Coming to the display, I have to compare it with Nexus 6P, and this one is just incredible. 6P is 2K display and while this one is 1080p but thanks to the latest Gorilla Glass and LED panel, the display is crisp, sharp and easy on the eyes. You also have 3 color modes option to choose for better viewing as per your requirement. Again, a plus point here. Apart from this, you have Night Mode and Reading Mode which changes the temperature of the screen to the warm side so that you can read or use the phone for long hours. Speaking of long hours....Battery : I'm not a battery management expert and since this is a new phone, it is supposed to give me a good charge, which it is. Generally, with one single charge, I can last this for a day and a half and still 20-30% juice left on it. Kudos! for that. Dash Charger with 4A output is definitely something that we have to see with other phones, as because of this, phone charges completely hardly in 30-45 mins when I charge it from 15 to 90%. I use my phone every now n then, so charging with such a battery life is actually appreciated. Camera : Again, will not get into the details of what is already available out there. But Camera on this phone performs. I have uploaded some pictures taken with several options provided in default camera app. For a 4K sample, you can check this link, . When you're using a product like Nexus 6P, your expectation is bound to be high. And it is good, it is not great(not yet), but it is good. And with the latest updates from OnePlus, it is just getting better and better. Depth effect definitely works and focuses the subject clearly with a clear difference between the subject and the background. Daylight shots are purely excellent with or without HDR and exposure levels at par. It is the selfie camera which takes pictures where exposure is not at all in place and looks like the front camera is trying too hard to make things look bright and heavenly. Another is low light pictures which tend to lose details and is too grainy, but then with few tweaks and update, I can manage. Dual Led Flash works well and keeps the scene bright enough to capture every detail in a frame. Value for Money?? Definitely!! Just compare and see how many SD 835 SoC phones are available in the market with such specs and how much would they cost you. Apart from that, this device boasts quality from the very first grip and when you start using it from the very first day. You get a premium built device with hardware and software that should easily cover you for next 3 years within 30-40K price bracket. I have already purchased additional year warranty and a cover for my satisfaction. I'm hoping the after sales service will be as good and promising as the product itself as that is also a deal breaker for many of us. Hopefully it may not disappoint me just like what Nexus 6P has done and hopefully, I will settle with this one for a longer period and But then again, my sub-conscious ask this pertinent question. Should I settle with it?? I think you might have the answer. Read less

  • Forget buying the Oneplus 5, because Oneplus 5T will come with IP68 water and dust proof protection we've been all asking for.

  • Phone Mono speakers sound is not that great

  • Low light photo are not that good in this phone compare to iPhone ans s8 plus

  • Screen quality s8 plus, design s8 plus is good only specification wise one plus 5 may b better only ram is more else same but one plus screen is not that bright compare to s8 plus

  • can anyone tell how is d headphone out put of oneplus 5

  • Got mine few days ago, for US market, and can't say i have noticed any jelly effect on the screen, at all. Even if it is there, then it has be so insignificant and u have to like really really look hard for it to notice the effect. I haven't noticed anything so far and the phone has been fully optimized and customized to fit my needs. So far, the camera is a bit disappointing, was expecting much more of it, the phone is quite fast, everything is stupidly fast and responsive, perhaps battery could get improved (I've seen people complain about it since the last few updates). Other than that, everything seems to be just fine. Stock android, fully customizable

  • i am looking for a bumper case for this phone. Any Recommendations

  • Xperia Z3 has 3100 mAh - 85 hrs Xperia Z2 has 3200 mAh - 89 hrs Oneplus 5 has 3300 mAh - 83 hrs Why is the endurance rating less on Oneplus 5?

  • I want to buy this phone, but I am worried about the jelly effect on the screen. Users, any opinions on this?

  • No

  • is that one plus 5 is having switching off problem automatically

  • Im not satisfiekitd with the... I din"nt get the earphones not even body case and not even the back pack.. Which I can see in the boxing videos so I wish can get something for the disappoinment

  • Worst Build Quality, the whole phone feels vibration, when we press back or recent buttons, the build quality of OP3/3T was much better. I am not talking about performance or Camera , the durability is in question.

  • Take it apart and realize it isn't...

  • check out the you tube video. It is...

  • Using OP5 for more than 3 weeks now. So far so good. Bought an Otter box cover to addressed the slippery build but nonetheless, build is quite gorgeous, an almost look alike of iPhone 7. Issues reported where addressed by the update to Oxygen OS 4.5.8. Heard just rolling out the 4.5.10 ver. Performance wise, superb thru it's Snapdragon 835 processor. Response is very fast. Wifi connectivity thru LTE is very impressive. Can watch 1080p/2160P video streaming without any lags. True to it's monicker, it's really a flagship killer. Camera shots are crisp and sharp even in low lights. Speaker is loud and clear enough to listen, not annoying to the ears. Fast response on the finger print feature. aptX is superb but must be coupled with a device supporting aptX and aptX HD (mine is MEE x7 plus). Storage no problem with 128GB. Still not convinced, try it out and you'll see.

  • @haider52 That's one of the most honest and unbiased reviews I have ever read. Thank You.

  • My review of the OnePlus 5 after 2 weeks of usage: Design Feels premium, sleek & light in hands. The rear of the phone looks similar to Iphone 7+ but feels very much different after usage. The front is very much similar to the OP3 & OP3T. All of the above wont make much of a difference if used with a back case as majority of users do. Display Full HD 1080p display gets the job done. Similar to its predecessors & nothing unique. Battery efficient for sure. Auto brightness seems to be aggressive keeping the screen brightness dim in indoors & has to be adjusted manually time to time. Can be fixed with a software update. LED notification light is on the softer side. It is hardly visible in well lit areas & needs to be looked into to find the LED pulsing... it can be annoying at times. Sound The single mono firing speaker at the bottom is loud enough & is at par in audio quality with other flagships. Calls via speaker are loud & clear. Speaker grill placement might seem to be a bit awkward though if you have used front firing or stereo speaker setup before. I found the audio being muffled when using the device with both hands as my palm accidentally covered the speaker grill quite often. Audio output from the 3.5mm jack is perfect. Performance Snapdragon 835 coupled with 6/8gb RAM is blazing fast. Such stellar internals might not be required at the moment but it makes the phone future proof & is an added bonus at the given price. Real life performance is buttery smooth... games, heavy apps, multi tasking, fingerprint scanner can easily outperform other flagship devices without showing any signs of heat. Only felt the camera area slightly warm while recording videos at 4K for longer duration. Battery 3300MaH battery might sound small in numbers but can easily last for a day for the not so heavy users. Heavy users with a 100% charge by 8am in the morning with 15-20 calls a day, regular follow ups on whatsapp, facebook, twitter, instagram, a bit of gaming, photography, youtube videos, music & so on might end up charging the phone again in the evening by 6-7pm which again is taken well care of by the magical dash charging. Put it on charge during your break time with a 15-20% battery & boom! You will be amazed to see its already 60-70% in roughly 15-20minutes. The only wait u will realize while charging is after it crosses 80% where it takes about an hour or so to reach the 100% mark if started from 0-5%. Camera The Dual camera setup is a welcome addition. Regular shots are fine & detailed in well lit conditions. Shots in indoor lighting are also above average but shots taken in low lighting is where you might require sturdy hands or a tripod to get a decent result. The portrait mode clicks perfect DSLR type images most of the time in bright conditions with a limitation of the subject being in 0.3-2metres range from the lens. Portrait mode in indoor lighting or low lighting situation struggles with noise in the images. Pro mode gives you manual controls & can click regular as well as RAW images for post production. Slow motion & Time lapse video also give a decent result in well lit conditions. Video recording at 4k after the update is smooth & is comparable to that of other flagships with OIS but at the cost of slight loss in quality. Front 16MP camera gives detailed images in bright outdoors as well as good image quality indoors. Video quality also from the same is vlogging good & captures detailed videos with clean audio in the open. Would suggest to check a detailed camera review on youtube for samples & a better perspective. Software Oxygen OS skin over the Nougat OS is optimized to best suit the OP5 internals. Works without a glitch & the customization options will keep new users charmed for a while. Overall the software feels light on the phone without any hang ups or hiccups whatsoever. Regular OTA updates assure that the company is always working in the background for customer support by addressing issues immediately. Conclusion Pros: Design - Gives a satisfactory feel in the hand with its build & design. Display - Full HD display will get the job done for most of its users. Sound - Output is audible in most of the situations. Performance - Can be titled as the "Fastest Android Phone" till date. Battery - Will not give up on you when most needed. Dash charging is a wonder. Camera - Excellent in bright conditions. Portrait mode will keep you clicking. Software - Oxygen OS with its customization is just perfect. Call Quality - Good in both to & from ends. Storage - 64Gb or 128Gb depends totally on user preference. Cons: Design - Slippery at times but a back cover or case can help. Display - Quad HD display with a better screen to body ratio would have been a plus. Auto brightness keeps screen dim in indoors & LED notification light is on the softer side. Sound - Stereo sound setup would have been a flagship killer quality. Performance - No complaints. Can be improved with software updates Battery - Bigger battery could clear a full day usage even for the heavy users. Camera - There is scope for improvement as it doesn't deliver what it promised. Software - More gestures maybe. Call Quality - Haven't experienced any issues yet. Storage - Expandable memory with a hybrid sim tray would be excellent. Price - 128gb/8gb variant should have been selling for the price of 64gb/6gb variant to be a true flagship killer & the 64gb/6gb at a price slightly higher than the OP3T Above are my personal opinion about the OP5 after more than 2 weeks of usage now... Thank you!

  • Hello, Am using this phone for more than a month now. A good looking, light weight, iphone 7plus copy, with slippery body so should be very carefull while holding it. It has a wonderful camera which makes you feel like a pro. But continous use of camera for a long time heats up back of the device specially between camera and 1plus logo. The only defect that i felt is while charging you can feel the current flow(in small amount) over the back of the body. I have been playing high graphic game from day one and it feels soo good, even better than ipad. Speaker is too loud with less clearity, feels like its disturbing you. Will rate 8.5/10.

  • Another killer from OnePlus. Have been using OnePlus 2 for over 2yrs now it was Touchwood expect for heating issues and slow charging. Phone is still going strong. Decided to move to OnePlus 5 because of Dash charging and dual lens. Phone works flawlessly. Hope it lasts as good as my op2. Only one disadvantage I felt with op5 is the interface is nothing special compared to op2 and I feel like using an old mobile even after buying a new one. Dash charge works wonderfully. From 40-90 within 15mins. 0-100 in less than a hour.

  • Does we also get a bag pack with one plus 5?

  • For those people who are confused between Honor 8 Pro and One Plus 5, Every other +points of OP5 is negated by the company's greatest blunder, lack of a QuadHD screen. The full potential of Snapdragon 835 can be used only when you play VR, really heavy games and 4K videos. You need a 2K or 4K screen for that. Else you don't need the 10nm 835 processor and the huge RAM. A slightly inferior processor and 4GB or lesser RAM can easily drive a fullHD phone. It is 2017 and OP is giving FHD screen to it's flagship!!! 3 years back LG had G3 with QuadHD screen that used to run beautifully with the processor of that time. OP5 is like a taxi car fitted with sports car engine. Whereas Honor 8 pro ticks all the right boxes and each of its hardware compliments other specs to make sure the buyer gets maximum value for the money he spend.

  • I am posting this review after using the device for almost 60 days and I would like to divide my review into pros and cons. (Delivered 25-Jun-2017) Pros, 1. Excellent Design,Thin, Dashing look ;-) 2. Excellent camera. Dual cameras do the job well. Specially DSLR blur effect is awesome..!!! 3. 8GB RAM with snapdragon 835 ensures that all apps work smoothly. 4. Assembled in India. 5. Dash Charging is quick.(Full Charge in 50-60min) 6. Like the new camera interface. 7. it is water resist also. 8. No-heating issues-I have used this device for many days and I must say this device barely heats up while doing intensive tasks & even in using 4G data also, thanks to ONEPLUS. 9. Fast fingerprint scanner 10. Display is Full HD. Seen full colour contrast..!!! Cons. 1. Default Theme & Menu Icons are not attractive. I use Go Launcher for cool looks for Icon & Themes...!! 2. Its not 1 handy use phone operated by 2 hands only. Slidly big size but its ok manage it..!!! 3. No SD card slot.(Not Require) Copy Right by Jahangir khan™ Great buy. Value for money ;-)

  • S7 edge sucks

  • Best phone.Got it.Best camera.Good battery backup.Fast and smooth.Default launcher not best,I am using Google launcher, faster and smooth than default launcher.while browsing , watching videos, using YouTube no heating. If download videos and music from others sometimes normal heating not heavy, acceptable.Screen brightness, graphics and sensors very good.Soft gold more beautiful than slate grey.Best phone in this price segment. If compare S8,iPhone 7 plus.I will not change this phone within a three years.I am very interested in features and very happy with this device. Slim and low weight.

  • Which one is better, OP5 or S7 edge?

  • OP5

  • If pixel 2 is announced, the pixel cannot be said as an midranger... Please think hard and try to stress out your brain man... You really need to use it

  • So is it the heavy graphic games that you play all the day on your smartphone? Last year's flagship cannot be said a midranger... The Snapdragon 625 is a midrange chip, so when it was launched, last year's flagship chip was SD 810, so can the SD 625 outperform the SD 810 in RAW performance? A big NO... And as anonym said, flagship is said to be unique in a way... Honor 8 pro has dual camera, a very good design, which midranger provides this good design and camera? You've just made a wrong opinion and you just do not want to accept that the opinion is wrong and you're uttering bullshit to make people believe that your opinion is right, stop doing it man... I never said that op5 is a bad phone... The argument is because of you saying that the honor 8 pro is a midranger and to prove that you're uttering bullshit...

  • Xiaomi Mi6 or OP5? which do you advise? thanks in advance for your advises...

  • To me, s8 plus is the best choice among them.

  • Best camera performance.Good battery backup. No heating while browsing and watching YouTube. If download sometimes heating. But adjustable.I recommend to you.

  • Is the camera and battery life good? Does it has heating problem?

  • Between was and won't be is the present, in which the Pixel(s) *ARE* Google's flagship phone. By your own logic OP5 isn't a flagship either, as the OP5T is likely to come-out in November (very near to the Pixel 2) with a next-generation SD836. By the way, nice jedi dancing around the fact specs and benchmarks alone don't make a flagship, but rather the novelties and unique features that set that phone apart from the others. You can't call Honor a mid-ranger without putting the OP5 in that category as well. And yes, a mid-ranger can have flagship performance while still being a zero-innovation copy-cat cost effective cheap alternative (aka mid-ranger).

  • The Pixel was a flagship at the time it was released with the latest processor. It won't be a flagship anymore once the Pixel 2 is released. Given that the G6 has the last year's SD 821 processor WHILE flagships of 2017 are being released has one meaning to me, LG is trying to rip you off with last year's processor phone deemed as flagship. I repeat it, some common sense people, for God's sake!!

  • Means your comparing a mid ranger to a flagship. So, please, cut the crap, and stop convincing yourself and others with bullshit my dear.

  • Let's get into your first point, first Kirin 960 outperforms 821 in some day to day processes, not heavy graphics games for sure. SD 835 outperforms Kirin 960 in all aspects. So cut the crap my dear. Last year's processor shoved in new phones means it's a mid-ranger. So when you compare a crappy honor to OP5,

  • Kirin 960's performance lies between the 821 and the 835, in some areas it outperforms the 821so it is comparable with the 835... The point is that you said the honor lineup as midranger... Which is not true by any means... Prove that honor is midrange and don't get into useless stupid conversations... And ps don't utter bullshit to make your statements right...

  • About Kirin: so by your own standards, the LG G6 is not a flagship neither are the Google Pixels. Way to shoot your foot... I dislike Touchwiz even more, does that mean all of the sudden the Galaxy S8, S8+ and Note8 aren't flagships? I think not. You talk about benchmarks and specs, yet you forget flagships are meant to be unique in some way, introducing some kind of novelty that makes them easily recognizable. LG G6 has wide-lesses camera, Pixel(s) are the reference in PQ, Galaxy S8 is the overall flagship reference and the Honor now has an amazing hyperglazed-alike back along with a secondary BW sensor that almost seems like borrowed from their Leica counterparts. Like it or not, that's a flagship right there.

  • First thing that proves your ignorance is that you're matching up the SD 821 with the SD 835, Kirim 960. Kirin 960 is last year's chipset and should be only compared with SD 821. HUGE differences in performance if compared the latter with SD 835. Second point, it's not only about Honor but Huawei in general; the UI is heavy and looks childish, meanwhile OP have chosen the light and the closest to naked Android, that's one factor on why it's the fastest phone on planet Earth now. Last but not least (Honor) brand is Huawei draft, they first draft their shit there then start rolling into Huawei devices, so it's going to be most likely loaded with half baked features. How about moving your ass from here and try to get more info before embarrassing your self with your minimal tech knowledge and bad English.

  • Xiaomi MI6 or OnePlus 5? which one is the should I buy?

  • One pluse 5 vs lenovo k8 note who is great????

  • I'm getting: S8 @ 43K | C7 Pro @ 19K | Onplue5 @ 33K Could someone please advise me which is the best option among them? My priority is seamless quality interface experience, good camera, video viewing, and music. I don't play a lot of games. It would help if you could share your views for your choice as well. Thanks

  • The latest Huawei Honors are, by all means, in the same segment as OnePlus and Xiaomi Mi. In fact, the Honor 8 is more of a flagship than the OnePlus 5 ever was, as it actually has an unique character (and build process) that resembles true flagships. It is also that sub-brand flagship (Honor is a brand marketed separately from the parent company Huawei, just like OnePlus is a brand marketed separately from others of its parent company, such as Oppo). The only real negative the Honor has is that Kirin SoCs aren't as well supported as Qualcomm Snapdragons, which reflects negatively in 3rd-party ROM support (aka the only reason I even consider the OP5).

  • My dear baby, firstly the honor 8 pro has a kirin 960 chipset which competes the SD 821 and 835... It has a dual camera setup, a 12mp normal and a 12mp monocrome... It has a quad HD screen, which is better than the oneplus 5... So from the above specifications, I don't see any mid range thing found on the honor 8 pro... Please let me know, how are you, or by which means you are calling it a midranger???

  • Galileo's dudes claim that OnePlus 5 supports their navigation system

  • s8+

  • Even oneplus is entering the marketing game... There is a hike in price of oneplus, the MI 6 is still cheaper than the oneplus 5 with the same SD 835... Just have a look, oneplus 3 was at 28k which was a very good price tag, the launched the 3T at 30k, did the 2k price hype justified? No, because SD821 and SD820 would not have a 2k hype, the 16mp sensor produced the same quality images as the 8mp, yes it would be 29k, maybe that would be justified... Again the oneplus 5 came, for 33k, but now the the MI6 is still cheaper than it... That's because of marketing... Oneplus never pushed out so much ads for the 3 & 3T... Just because of advertisements, they are hyping prices... What oneplus doesn't know is that its already a good brand and it does not need such advertising... Hope oneplus improves

  • Depends upon your priorities... I would go any day the iPhone 7 plus if my priority was camera, S8 plus for the 18:9 ratio and oneplus 5 if low budget...

  • Bro the thing is, the S7 edge has a quad HD display panel, so it has to push a lot more pixels as compared to the oneplus 3T with a 1080p screen... Also, one thing that matters is the optimisations, I have no thing against oneplus, even I'm using a oneplus 3 myself, but the software optimisations on the oneplus 3 & 3T aren't that good, the phone heats up a little even with casual usage, which isn't the case with the S7 edge, the processor needs to be underclocked to decrease heating which takes a direct hit on the performance, but I appreciate Samsung's efforts for the S7 edge, because even after having a heavy UI like touchwiz it doesnt lag that much and pushes a quad HD screen with ease... One thing that also matters is quality, samsung phones can easily last 2-2.5 years... But I don't think so oneplus can last this long... Maybe I'm wrong... The price variation is legit, because as compared to oneplus, samsung after sales are far better, even the parts are cheaper... I remember one incident, where a oneplus 3 was completely destroyed and the owner was quoted a price of 48k for repairing it... Lol

  • Your knowledge is as wrong as your opinion man... Honor and mate lineups work separately, just like ZUK and moto work... They both are part of lenovo but launch separate phones... Same is the condition with huawei... Half knowledge is always harmful

  • Lol... Huawei mate 9 has the same chip as the honor 8 pro... How dumb

  • Oh, my dear baby, firstly the honor 8 pro has a kirin 960 chipset which competes the SD 821 and 835...

  • Once got it.very good performance in every way. After 4 days use became friendly phone.Giving more more performance.....

  • OP 5, Samsung is simply not that reliable, + build quality is not quite high

  • Between OnePlus 5 and Samsung Galaxy 7 Edge (45 € plus) what´s the choice if you are not a gamer?

  • Hello...go for 1+5 it's a blind buy !

  • Help me between sony xa1 ultra and one plus 5

  • One plus 5 launched in june 2017 with nougat out of box, then it will be upgraded to oreo 8.0 which is launched few days ago, And hopefully it will be further upgraded to android P which will be launched next year.

  • This is water proof???

  • battery problem persist.

  • this is a good phone but it has a problem because it does not support card slot what ever a best phone

  • No

  • Buy oneplus five because in it's a phone with an excellent performance . S8 is also a nice phone but note better than oneplus five Don't buy iPhone 7 because in few months apple will launch it's new iPhone 8 or 7s

  • Does it have any heating problem?

  • the same Confused, but i think one plus 5 is good

  • Oneplus 5 or LG g6 which one should I buy?

  • I am confused which one to buy my choices are iphone 7 plus, samsung s8 plus or one plus 5 please tell me the best smart phone to buy

  • Once plus 5.

  • Both are same in usage but go for the latest as it has got camera improvements.

  • I think oneplus prices are lower because they don't spend too much money on advertising and promotions etc. But one thing is sure it's models are high end and can be compared to Samsung flagship models. I am using oneplus 3t since March and never ever regretted. Mind it i switched from Sony Z5 to S7 edge to oneplus 3t. Why i m saying this because non of the heavy games lags in oneplus 3t. E.g. GANGSTAR VEGAS is a fine example which lagged in S7edge and never in Sony Z5 and oneplus 3t.

  • Op5 or op 3t which one is better

  • You lack the basic knowledge, my dear. I will refrain from further useless discussions.

  • Honor is not a flagship line my dear. No matter what specs it has, it is still deemed as a mediocre phone. OnePlus 5 is a true flagship, it compares to S8, U11, G6, Mate 9, etc.

  • In you aspect the oneplus 5 should also be a midranger... Because the note 8 is priced at 65k so the oneplus 5 is half the price... Gather some knowledge about phones before contradicting...

  • You better have common sense before saying this... First of all honor 8 pro is the latest flagship by huawei so it is fairly comparable to the oneplus 5... What if its priced low? Its specs are all high end... Oneplus has also started overpricing... Atleast Huawei is not ripping off their customers...

  • Seriously!? You're comparing a mid-level (Honor) to a flagship and a beast (OnePlus 5)!? For God's sake people! Some common sense!

  • Oneplus 5

  • Used both Honor 8 pro nd Oneplus 5 below are my score: Honor -- oneplus 9.5 camera 9 (Back camera) (Honor done great jod) 9 camera 9.5 (front Cam) 9 performance 9.5 9 battery 9 9.5 UI 9 8 charging 9.5 7 Heating issue 9.5 (One plus done very good job) 10 Display 9

  • Indeed, but that's the same case with the S7 and S8... Except the new ratio, there's nothing new... The smartphone market is nearing saturation... First there use to be better chips every generation but now even the midrangers can play high graphic games with ease... The screens are quad HD and no need is there to bump them to 4K... The one thing oneplus has played is the pricing... Actually there wasn't much need for marketing because oneplus products are already very popular, and bumping the price by 2k with the 3T and again 3k with the op5 is quite a huge bump being it a chinese brand... There's not much R&D with the op5... Also they do not even provide updates till the chip gets too old... The hype in the pricing just because of the marketing isn't much justified... They did what was not much needed and increased the price which is causing the customers to think twice.. If the pricing was hyped for the service aspects than I would completely support it but as of now not having service centres in some of the major cities is still a big hit...

  • The Snapdragon 835 is anyday better than the 821... So oneplus 5 is superior to the G6...

  • Don't go with the 6s plus... Else go for the 7 plus... Choose which is comfortable for you... iOs or Android

  • Buy the oneplus 5... It will be supported longer

  • Obviously the S8... Or just wait for the note 8

  • Great phone with less price. It's a monster.

  • Buy op5

  • There is only one version of One Plus 5 in the world? Regardless the RAM and memory slot itself.

  • Samsung s8 or one plus 5 What about the camera and battery??

  • Nice phone: cold, fast, low price (my status not needed Ipone)

  • Yaa.Returned and bought soft gold

  • Soft gold is more beautiful other than slate grey.
