With Super Jelly Bean 8.0, the phone runs very good. I use 1700mah patona battery. 2 - 3 days is enough. And 16gb microsd samsung pro class10. Most apps moving to sdcard. No problem with this phone. You must install superfusion.kk.

I have this phone for 4 years,and it's a great phone. I don't have protection on display,yey it has only a few scratches. Video and photo quality is great(because sony xD) and music is excelent on headphones(on speaker is low volume,but good quality). It is a very resistant phone , I dropped it in water, beer and vodka and still works perfectly .

I found the best solution to play video on Xperia Neo is to load VLC media player this plays pretty much any type of video, MP4, AVI, MKV etc.

For advantage to this phone is good video recoring , good camera, support almost all android apps , games run smooth ,listen songs and watch video great, drop it on floor like unbreakable still can use until rite now(never send warranty in these 3 years). This is a great phone for anyone who really knows how to use it to its full potential. I've been using it for two years now and must say that I am more than satisfied with it. It has served me well. I dropped it at least 50 times, and nothing ever broke. What I would like to point out is that the processor (1GHz) works rather well for its class. The camera is beautiful. Some of my photos turned out to look like professional photographer works, so that's probably the best feature of this phone. The other thing I liked is that I never really HAD TO restart it. I only did when I wanted to for some reason (rooting, updates etc.). The battery life is good if you're not a zombie living in the phone. I was 24/7 on WiFi and only had to charge the phone every other day. The downside is that this phone is rather slow, but since its very old now it's okay. If I could get a phone like this, but with a quad-core processor and 16MP camera, I'd buy it right away. The design is wonderful.

s its absolutly rite ..i too used many custom roms...now i am using 2.3.7 gingerbread...very very fast always 200 mb ram free nearly i installed 250 to 300 apps including the hd games...i removed lots of unwanted system apps..still i am having 300mb internel..before that i used 4.1.2jelly bean..ui is nice in jelly bean but scrolling speed suks in ics and jb for normal user they can use that rom..to install more apps and hd games definetly gb ver very very smooth in all aspects.. battery backup stands for me 2 days for normal usage like wen i am going to office in morning time i used to hear songs as well as play games for 45 min apprxmte then i check mail and surfing in breaks..just 5 mintues..then same in evening returning to home...battery back up more or less equall both in gb and ics and jb

I have used this phone for about 9 months (brought on August 2012) What i can say is i have put many custom ROMs on it and most of them are buggy than the stock ROM. This includes GB and ICS version. So if you dont mind about the bugs you might encounter, you can go ahead and try those custom ROMs. Advantages of GB and ICS (based on experience) Advantages of GB -definitely faster and smoother UI(User Interface) than ICS -faster camera capture and preview -Video recording is faster and smoother( no laggish feel) -Games runs well and smoothly -most apps runs faster -Overall performance is better Advantages of ICS -Great battery life(about 2-2.5 day of normal usage) -Refreshed UI look -Smart dialing available -Easier to root -More custom ROMs available -Better signal reception (GSM, HSDPA and Wifi) -Better screen lock -Abit more free internal storage space -Overall better battery life than GB My phone dropped on a hard surface many times but it managed to survive until today.(but dont try it on purpose) All in all, i prefer ICS than GB because i used this phone mainly for texting, calling, browsing, watching videos and i love the battery life of ICS. You decide which one is the best for you. Not by following other people's thoughts.

dude i have upgraded my sony ericsson neo frm android gingerbread to the new ICS 4.0. u can install sony pc suite & upgrade it via the pc software. but just wanna warn u that the phone will start to lag a lot. & high Def games wnt play smoothly & e1 the menu vl work slowly.. it's just a gimmik. now it's your choice. :)

My Neo got a heating issue as well. Phone works just fine, but when I surf internet with HSDPA/3G or play games for than 10 minutes or phone is connected to the charger it heats up upper corner of the back of the phone.. Gingerbread suits best for this phone. I have upgraded to ICS but games are laggy, home screen is slow.

download sony pc companion from sony website install it, if you are running 64bit windows 7 make sure you have latest java7 32bit & 64bit install on your pc. charge your phone fully. connect phone to pc, let it install driver, run sony pc companion, it should auto check for update. this depend on region you are on. update file is around 350-400mb. fellow on screen instruction to update your phone.

3 solutions,1st,try hard reset,2nd,send to service centre (if warranty still in period) or try to root it and replace vending.apk in /system/app. But as you aware,rooting will void the phone warranty if the phone still warranted. My angelic advice, take 1st and 2nd solutions as early measure,for 3rd solutions,do lot of readings until you know what are you doing.Have a nice day

It is a good phone. I have been using it over a year n other than the occasional hang-up nothing much wrong with it ... i dropped it more than a several times n it is quiet durable ...As of nov-3-2012 i rooted it. The rom of NEO V can be used while rooting, only a camera patch will be required to adjust for camera. It has a good gaming experience on ginger-bread and comfortable visualizations and user friendly on ics. it has a decent battery life though i am surfing full time on the web ... the only thing i found lacking on this phone is a qwerty key pad. All in all a good phone . with a quality cam.

i guess the reason why is it hanging bec of too much downloads or files on your phone..sometimes using 8GB memory card or more will cause hanging phones that the actual can't hold..i suggest clean stuffs not you don't usually use on this phone

Pretty good phone :D however after 10 months it begins to die on you, the UI begins to lag and it pretty much is to be only used for calling, photo taking and messaging :/ If u want to get a new phone, please look pass this one and try to find another phone with a better processor :D

I have been using this phone for about six months now. The design is not top, but the performance and the display are great, battery life is also outstanding, even under a lot of usage. The mini HDMI port is also extremely useful as the camera is great. From what I have heard the upgrade to Android 4 is bad on this phone, so I didn't do it, I am very much satisfied with the way it is right now. The bad things are little internal storage, which means you will have to move every single app to the SD-card one-by-one, which can be very frustrating. Also, programs stop more often than on other Android phones, especially Mozilla, which you basically cannot use on the phone. Otherwise, it's really a good phone. 7.5/10 points

Sony has given a raw deal to all 2011 Xperia customers by giving buggy, poorly performing ICS update. They are totally silent about fixing bugs on ICS and now they have officially refused to update it to JB either. Please let Sony know what you think of its shabby updates and support by signing this petition (asking for a working JB update). Just Google for "Xperia 2011 petition", click the 1st link and sign the update. Try not to buy Sony mobiles unless they give a quality JB update... or in the very least a quality ICS update.

What fw you're using? I'm using 587 (+ many mods from Xperia S/T like Media apps from Xperia T,small apps and nxt lockscreen)and i don't have any problem with apps crashing,or with overheating. The phone runs lagless,and i always have more than 150 mb of free ram.The only problem is with the low memory,but i can live with it. I sugest you to debloat the phone and remove all that crappy apps preinstalled by Sony,and you'll get a lagless phone.

I have xperia neo, ppl do NOT buy this phone, sony will not update to JB, and the ICS update just makes the phone worst than it is in Gingerbread. The 8MP camera is not better than the 5mp camera of the iphone. exmor? nothing but lies. The speaker is not loud enough. Dialer is sloooow. Front facing camera quality is bad. But what makes this phone really bad is the internal memory, you will face lot of problems because of the low memory, you can't install software freely because your memory is full, you can't receive emails because of this, and apps will crash. I have been using this phone 4 months now, and i really regret my purchase. Stay away of Sony Smartphones, look elsewhere.

Guys do not update to ics and the new update 587 is not a big deal. ics vs gb on neo: -using quickpic photos load faster on GB, on ics browsing pictures is laggy -using mxvideoplayer videos (in hw mode)and the mxplayer ui runs faster on GB, on ics is laggy -in ics video recording sound is mono -in ics videos and photos taken are 2x larger in mb -in ics internet browsing is laggy -in ics the ui is a little bit faster -in ics sms led is not blinking -in ics taking a picture or an video and then saving them takes a long time -in ics u can disable some app -games run better on GB -in ics wi-fi turns a little bit faster so the result is stay with GB this is my experience with the android os...

I am owner of Xp Neo, 2 months now and it is really great phone. I compared it to my brother Xp Arc and my girlfriends Xp Ray and it is slightly better imho. Camera is fantastic, video mode is amazing and all apps are working perfectly including internet browsing (Opera is just flying),video streaming,FB,etc, e-mail.Battery averages 1-3 days, depending on usage (wi-fi,talk,bluetooth,3G). I also updated it to ICS 4.04 and latest Sony firmware recently and everything is much better then in GB 2.3.7 and only issue I found is that Angry Birds In Space is sometimes becoming un-responsive. If that is not important to you (as it is not to me) then I don't see any reasons for staying on GN 2.3.7. Cheers

And for those who are still undecided what will they buy. Difference between Xperia neo to Xperia Neo V. It's just Xperia neo has a better Camera than the neo V. Xperia Neo has 8mp Camera while Neo V has only 5mp. The rest are all the same performance. Except that Xperia Neo V has a wider market in the Philippines than the Neo and available in any SE Stores than the Neo has not officially announced and market in the Philippines that's why Xperia neo is limited in the Philippines. And for those who are thinking to buy Xperia Ray or Neo. For me if you want a phone that is just comfy to your hands and to your pocket better to buy Ray. Or if you want a phone not just wider than s2 or xperia Arc that is I can say a bit handy. Better to buy Neo. Well Neo has 8mp cam and Ray got also 8mp cam. But the difference is Ray does'nt have front facing cam than Neo. :) I hope it helps. :)

Hi Guys just wanted to share my xperience to my Xperia neo. I'm a more than a year neo user. For those who wants to upgrade their OS from GB to ICS. (As for me) GB is really good for an entertainment user like games,music etc. it's really fast. Compare to ICS a bit laggy especially when playing games really annoying. But when it comes to UI and storage much better and battery life is good. So I just used it as my business phone. Battery life: Well for me. You don't need to install any battery saver if you like, just switch your account&sync to off. Brightness to moderate low. Lessen your widgets. Switch off your gps,wifi,Bluetooth if not in need.(I'm just leave the my wifi on). My battery last a day if not hard used. No need for battery saver apps that really also increase the performance of your phone active that also drains your battery and lessen your storage. It's up to you again. Battery saver helps to Automatic off all your connections if unused.

I would suggest u to go for them.... but u still want to buy this phone then make sure u remain on gingerbread, don't upgrade to icecream sandwich, I heard some reports about lagging & rebooting.....

My one year old Sony xperia neo has simply stopped functioning. It will not load and the battery will not work. All I get is the battery charging light flashing but the phone will not turn on. To all Xperia Neo users: Don't upgrade to ICS. You'll definitely experience lags and hangups. Just do some tweaks for your Xperia Neo. Try searching v6 supercharger and kick ass kernelizer. However you need to root your fone to utilize these tweaks. No need to unlock bootloader. My Neo is still in stock rom .283 and rooted. The reason why I opted to stay at .283 is because when I upgraded to .62, my battery drains faster than normal. Had no problems with my Neo which is almost a year old now.

While on GB, I had 70+ apps without "insuficient memory/storage available" warnings popping up. Now on ICS it starts happening when I hit around 50 apps. ICS is an improvement, no doubt about it, however it does make this phone slower and if you plan on having more than 45 apps, especially games (some games lag on ICS but not on GB), I advise you to stay on GB or simply buy another phone if you haven't bought this one already. I got it during the New Year's sales and I'm really satisfied considering how little I paid for it, however, my initial plan on buying a new phone for summer 2013 will probably be changed and will probably be buying a new phone during the next New Year's sales.

Great phone. i m using this phone for 2 months and it is so attractive that my phone takes rest. IF your range is in 20000-30000 this is BEST.

Yes I use my neo for taking videos, and the average saving time is 4 - 8 seconds, depending on the length of video and recording settings. If you are recording 720p videos, it would take longer to save them. As for the camera app, I find the ICS menu easier to use compared to GB version, because Sony simplified the menu arrangement. There's no lag on my neo because I only have a few apps installed. If my phone's memory is near the max limit, I transfer some files to my PC to avoid the lag, and same goes for SD cards.

1) I charge my neo every night because I'm a heavy user (games & internet). For moderate use, battery can last for 2 days. 2) ICS makes the phone feel like brand new again. Just go to Sony's website for update instructions. 3) Not sure if the neo's still on sale over there, better check your local phone shops. And for the guy asking about 3D sweep panorama, yes, the neo has that feature already, even without updating it to ICS.

For those of you who claims that the ICS update is terrible, then you guys must be either high on drugs or don't know how to use the phone at all. Sony won't release an update if it's for the worse. My neo feels like a brand new phone again, thanks to ICS. A lot of improvements here & there, not just the looks. Just a piece of advice: if you are worried about the lag issue on ICS, do a master reset (reformat), which can be done either before or after updating to ICS. If it doesn't fix the problem, then it only means 2 things: either you have a defective unit, or you didn't take good care enough of your phone. End of discussion for ICS.

Hi All, I have been using Xperia Neo for last 6 months but past 3 weeks I am facing one issue 1. Phone Batter stays only for 1 hrs even though I charge it for3-4hrs everyday. In fact, I never using the phone anything apart from attending calls, still battery dries very fast. 2. On Charging or Playing Games, Its heat up very fast. It's very hot to hold the phone. The ICS update was not showing me the face unlock feature though it said i would get, keyboard was screwed and some other issue. All issues were solved with a restart. Not much different than 2.3.4 but still some improvements and the phone is great for the price. Worth every penny and there isnt a better phone "at this price" !

Try taking a pic using the camera...compare the size of the pic taken using ICS compared to 2.3.4..ICS images are not so compressed compared to 2.3.4 That's all i found...hahah

Xperia Neo and Neo V are the same device. Except that "Neo" has 8 mpx cam and "Neo V" has 5 mpx camera. Neo was manufactured first... then the tsunami destroyed the plant where the 8mpx sensors were made. "Neo V" is the same phone(but newer) with a cheaper sensor.

The ICS is bit lagy and unstable. Updated my neo. I think SONY should work on the stability as some core applications exits often; like camera. Contacts and phone application is a hassle after ics upgrade as those take long time to open.

Anyone, who said that after the ICS update they suggest you not to make the update is a looser(I really mean it), because this problems happend in the first week, but after that it really looks like this is a new and a better phone, all that laggs disappearing. Hai NOTE: For all those are going to update your neo to ICS.. i jst updated my neo to ICS today..and I am terribly disappointed. the phone is become noticeably lagging..it is using almost 40 mb of more RAM than GB. now I am getting maximum 110 MB of RAM only ( after restarting the mobile) normal times it fall to 60 - 80 MB..camera interface showing few options only..and saving of video an photos taking long time..dial pad is very lagging...and the phone is less responsive now,which is irritating too much. Before it need a feather touch only to launch app or any thing...now you need to press hard some times more than 1 time.. In my opinion please stay with your GB...do not update just for some updated looks and the so called fast browsing ( GB also have good browsing speed)...

I'd rather select performance wise on my phone than those new features such as that nice interfaces that will spoil on how i use my phone... I've been using this Xperia Neo for a year now and so far up to now, It never fails on me. From my experience, do not update to ics, there are some problems: 1. Camera is laging and the recorded videos are laging badly, and to save them is a pain you have to wait a lot 2. Its a really good phone. Takes brilliant pictures, does everything my netbook can do, love the HDMI output on my telly, ove the sound quality on it when I play music so much that I now use this much more than I do my mp3 player, oh and I can print stuff off it via wifi on my Epson Stylus printer, phonecalls/messaging/skyping work fine - only thing is, touch-screen typing is a bit of a pain but great for everything else like navigating webpages, reading articles, playing games, etc. I got mine on a pay monthly contract and it comes out so much cheaper, almost like I got this phone for free. Love it - it's so underrated sometimes, yeah the Xperia Arc is great but this really is almost as good as the Xperia Arc. I wanted an Iphone before, but this is much better. Tried skyping a friend who has an Iphone some time ago, and she was unable to do video chat but I could!

Absolutely beautiful phone. Good performance. Only problem is the low internal memory, but still you can install most of the apps and can be moved to sdcard this freeing the internal memory. It comes with a lot of built in applications most of it of no need. So uninstalling it will give more space.

Ive been using this phone for almost a year now. Firstly this phone begins to lag after 5 months of use. Now its been 10ish months and the lag is a killer... The sensitivity of the screen at times has it flaws, of course it cannot be compared to apple products. However, the camera quality is still pretty good. Id give it 8/10 for picture quality, but it catches a lot of wind when in video mode. Apps such as temple run cannot be played well (Well on my neo) it lags within 6 seconds of the game. However, with my experience with this phone i think people interested in buying a new phone should move on and find a new phone. A 1GHz cpu, I am sure the market offers a better CPU with a reasonable price. Although this post may seem negative, on the Neo. This phone is very durable, you wont need to fret over a 1 meter drop and the picture quality compensates for the lag. But seriously, look for a better phone. Hoped this helped :)

Had this phone about 5months now. Upgraded/ Downgraded from the X10i as I wanted an Arc, but no 2nd camera on Arc,plus with ICS I can use face recognition to unlock my phone!Great phone, better than the X10i, excellent price, does all that is asked and remember size isn't everything when good things come in small packages like this. Cons- battery does overheat often, and not enough internal memory. Not all apps can be moved to sd card& might become a little unstable once u upgrade to ICS.

Hi, I am from Egypt too, bought the Xepria Neo of course, it is lighter, durable and looks better. Regarding mega pixels of camers, 5 MP is just enough as the more MP you need it only required for posters or banners of films or so. But for regular pictures the more pixels is not much required for limited size screens or paper printing. Also Neo is light and got two cameras, plus one little note, they are android operated so they all have same software features. Look for processor and RAM which is good in Neo too. Thanks

Hi, I did notice that phone heats up a while sometimes but not to the limit you cannot touch it. This shows during games. But I do not play games a lot I do more chat, and calls which sometimes heats up to or search the web. This is probably due to no cooling on mobile phones comparable to notebooks. Thanks

Yes the phone heats up when playing a game & using Wi-Fi because there is no cooling fan on the CPU! And yes, one should update the device whenever possible as this patches the Android OS which fix any inconsistencies with the hardware/software and adds upgrades!

If any one thing about the battery I think you don't have to. There are 2 things to be improve. They should increase the processing power and ram. Go ahead and install..it will fix any issues on the device and add upgrades to the Android OS..although I didn't see much of a difference o_O I kept all of my data (games,docs,images,music ect) just connect with Wi-Fi and the phone will do the rest. But the real update to look out for is ICS next month!

yea, it only flash when it captures a pic. I love my neo because it has better picture quality than my xperia play. the only problem on neo is its battery drains too fast. need to have a battery saver app in order to make it last long

One of the best upper midrange phone! I'm using it for 3 months now and its performance is excellent. I use it mainly for music and watching HD movies. camera is good too. I will always choose this over Arc because of its front facing camera. Skype video chat is a breeze. So happy I purchased it. ICS update soon!

( just i updated software through sony ericsson web site . now its 16x zoom and 3D camera. lots of applecations updated. fast browser , battery backup good (more than 2 days with 3g.)but pls switch off wi-fi ,display light, bluetooth, syc & disable running background data when u no need to use , nice disign , sharp touch screen(take care of unknownly delet or open applications) , good abt music, 1GHZ Proccer good . i m user nokia E72 before . some of plus and minus with nokia as well as xperia Neo . Nokia e72 no Skype video call but sim video call thre . neo sim video not thre but skype ,gtalk, other video calls aviable . E72 have good MS office . not found in Neo ( pls let me know if thre ). overall good phone to buy . i m looking for upgrade andriod 4.

hey, too good. its not complex like HTC which has many apps but which indeed is not really usefull to most of us. The movies and sounds are really great. great definition(thanks to bravia engine) and the sound in earphone is awesome. But i dont really appreciate the sound on loudspeaker. it plays almost loudly must the sound is not as fine as say HTC itself or motorola(thats my opinion). Camera is also awesome. Thos who are planning to buy this handset..... what are you waiting for? :-)

Even, I purchased my Xperia Neo from Ebay in October, 2011. It came from Singapore (as was visible from the box and its contents) but it had Generic/Global firmware in it. So yesterday only I updated it to Android 2.3.4 build number 4.0.2.A.42 using Flashtool. So, there aint any issues as such. I suggest you go ahead and buy this phone if you really want that 8MP Exmor Camera.They've stoppped producing the NEO, hence wont be available for long.

Nope.. Neo is better. It has better camera, comes with good in ear earphones and 8GB memory card. Neo V comes with 5mp camera, which is lower than neo and normal earphones and 2Gb memory card. other than that its all the same. Don't be confused about 3d sweep and panaroma sweep. They come to neo as well when you update the OS to 2.3.4.

Hi, I'm from Malaysia. I have been using this Xperia Neo for about 7 months and it working flawlessly! :) Now at xda they have so many custom rom & kernel which is a good thing. Dropped this phone frequently but nothing happened except dent at the curve of the phone and amazingly there is no scratches at all! Tough phone I could say. The display is nice and bright. And the best of all, it has a secondary camera...it useful when I skype-ing or ym or msn video chat :D Last but not least, the hdmi output, it give out 720p to external display! Watch hd movie without lag at all! But I want to comment about the camera quality, it is not like what I expected...the sensor is horrible :( but video recording is good enough :) Next, I wish this phone equipped with 14.4mbps modem like the arc s! I always use my phone as a modem to my computer & laptop so I need a fast internet connection to download heavy files ;) Overall I rate this phone 8/10 :) it does it job well

Neo is better than Neo V. Neo has all the same added functions of the Neo V with firmware update. They are on the same firmware today btw. Between Neo and Arc S Neo is more value for your money. Arc S only for the looks minus the front camera which is quite useful.

dude i think sony ericsson canceled the production of neo because of the nuclear insident in japan, they lacked lenses for the cam, in my opinion they preffeared to use them on the arc, so then they gave out the neo V (V stands for the cam) also i checked for the neo today and it's not listed in sonyericsson's website, don't know why... i might be just one of those lucky guys who got one and i tell you, the phone rocks!!eshpecially if you take in mind the price of it :)

just stop any application that you are not using.. Especially Bluetooth and Wifi, if you do not need to used it do not activate it. If you have anti Virus installed on your device, Just activate it when you need it especially when you are downloading file. My Neo last for 2 days for medium heavy used. I always talk to my love one almost 1 1/2 hour a day. Neo is best!!

I've been using this phone for a week now and I am really impressed. For the price of this device it really gives a lot. The 8 mp camera is really good, the phone runs smooth and fast, the design is really stylish. Overall I give this phone a 9 out of 10. cons: 1. back cover is hard to take out, it feels like you will break it. 2. the covers of the ports are also not that good. if not careful you can pull it and lose it. 3. for some reason if I have a headphone/earphone plug in and you answer a call, the call goes to loudspeaker and you have to unplug the earphone and replug it to use the earphones

Neo is superb.. using it for 4 month now..running android 2.3.4..anyone who said that neo is suck by saying that it startup take longer time,etc2 is just nonsense. mine got no problem at all..playing modern combat 3 on it make it much more awsome..and it also getting ICS soon.not like any samsung or nay other fon..so im statisfied with neo.not neo v..neo v is suck..no exmor r which is so crucial in the camera

Its available through ebay. But its imported from singapore.That is y its sold cheap. u wont get dealer warranty in India. It means u got to pay when u give ur mobile for service. Also there is some difficulty in updating through PC companion.

quality of this product is not as good as what you think. When i first used this neo,it takes few minutes before it turn on. i thought this will be resolved after using it for few months. take note,after 2 months,while im playing one of my apps. all of the sudden the screen wont respond and i cant even press any buttons. Ive tried to remove the batteries,reset it but still doesnt work. Im so worried so i send it back and took it for repair. the product only have a service warranty so any replacement parts will be handled by the consumer. yes,Im out of luck! they told me i have to pay 4000 pesos which is equivalent to $100 in US. that's a lot of money. its very frustrating to think that its only good for 2 months. i'll never buy this product anymore.

Neo can be updated to 2.3.4 and it gets the sweep panorama and 3d sweep panorama like neo V. Its just the software not the hardware. Go ahead and get the Neo. I am having it for a month on 2.3.4 and loving it.

i bought my xperia neo yesterday and i enjoyed it best android phone from s.e first its hard for me to choose whether xperia ray or neo. then i try to use it both because the store they allowed the customers to try their second hand phone. before you buy a brand new one,ray is smaller than neo which is i hated you cant enjoy the games,videos. but for those who want a small one and you can easily to put on your pocket ray is good for. but the thing is neo is pretty much good than ray. for those who are confused, i can say neo is the best. :-)

I am holding one of Experia neo phone. Very good functions all. . Need to do proper settings. Internal memory is very low. Skye video call, Google talk video call, fring video call and yahoo messanger video call functioning in great satisfaction. Sim card 3g video call not function. Google earth very nice. net very fast working. clear the search history every exit. daily restart the phone one time. Settings are very easy to manageable. live tv working through net connection. This androied phone is very nice. 8 mega pixel camera is excellent. secondary video call camera also good. The price is not very high like i phone. you can enjoy in this phone. never feel borring this phone.

quite fast browsing, although i used w8 and w8 has faster browsing. speaker quality is nice when you turn on the xloud enchancement. camera quality is superb, it's only that it support only 2.4x digital zoom which make a far distance photographing becomes hard :( battery backup is fine, turn of wi-fi data traffic, and 32% of battery level is enough for the phone to last for whole day of messaging , call and music. love the timescape UI! it's very easy to use and look tidier. video quality also superb. worth buying, but i would like to know if anyone has any idea to upgrade the camera for 16x digital zoom like on xperia neo v ?

I bought my xperia neo about a month ago. The only thing better I can see is the camera resolution (8MP in xperia - 12 in N8). Still, the quality of the photos of my xperia are awesome, so there's no need to worry about that. Other than that, xperia has a bigger screen and higher resolution, better hardware and it's android (Symbia sucks). Anyway, the xperia neo is way better than the n8.

Initial production of the neo was during the earthquake/tsunami in japan. There was a shortage of the 8 mp camera so it was decided that the US market would have the neo V (5mp camera) since the Ray and Arc S have the 8 mp cam
