  • this is a great handset but due to its speaker i get problems hearing sometime so thats the only issue

  • Great for calls, made it hard to see thought because of the small screen but if you hold up to your eye you may be able to see. my wife gets annoyed as that i sometimes cannot hear her, its not my fault the speaker is small. i do like this phone and the green screen makes me feel young again. • Best phone ever. I have taken few images on it and green and white color really makes them sharp. Any app that i ran worked. I also putted it under my table leg and it really worked as table stabilizer. Only issue i found is that i cant use it as cutting board. :(

  • this is best mobile nokia phone its qulity of good best funsions for sutable poor persons

  • It's a cheap phone in general, bought it while i was abroad cuz i broke my samsung. It's battery lasts for like a week if you dont use it very often, it's not good for elderly people thought because of it's tiny screen, if you wanna have a reliable spare one i believe this is a good option.

  • it should be the worst phone ever made

  • It is the best of all other phones.

  • This phone should win the price of the worse phone ever produced... My cousin bought one of these for 10$(used) and it was impossible to write a SMS with this phone and making calls was also pretty difficult, not to mention the 1 inch screen, on which was very difficult to read anything...

  • Don of a phone. Perfect in every way.

  • LOL 10 Euros are not equal to 800INR. u must be victim of indian corruption :D lolzzzz 10Euros = 590 INR ;) this is just for take calls n make calls enjoy!

  • I dont think you will get another phone as cheap as this

  • lovely phone i wana make love to it

  • i loooove this phone, i'm going to buy it for bangz

  • ....continued. It is now 0500 on Wednesday morning and the battery is at 1/3 full. One bar showing, out of the three. The phone has been on day and night since Thursday afternoon. Normal use, a little fooling around, playing with the flashlight, etc. So, I think battery life is very good !

  • ...Three alarm clocks are here. About 15 ringtones are here. Volume is loud enough. Call volume is also loud enough I guess, but it gets a little distorted on the highest setting. I think it shows a low quality little speaker. You can hear the ringer perfect though. Silent (vibrate) is also strong enough. One bad thing, you might say, is the speed for typing sms. Slow to normal users will be OK, but those who type sms real fast will be slowed down... Flashlight included! The phone is light, small. Few things I forgot: Phone has contact storage, I have them on the sim and haven't got arount to it yet, though. Also, bottom 3 btns, press and hold for lock, flashlight, and silent. Finally, I remind you it cost 10 euro. It's perfect for the price. You hear the ringer OK, you hear the caller OK. It has sms. It's compact, light, you see the screen anytime. The battery still shows full (after 3 days). Any questions, please ask.

  • OK, I've had it since Thursday (3 days). The official specs are here already, I will only comment on user experience. To start, I didn't have enough patience to charge the battery straight for 8 hours like they told me. Only cahrged it about 6 hours for first charge. First of all, you can see the screen perfectly in sunlight! At idle, you see the big digital clock. The buttons are rubber like small calculators. The press is positive enough, though. At the press of the button, the number pad lights up, evenly enough, but not the directional btn or the green or red btns. No problems finding anything though. The contacts list is a little messed up, due to the different size screen. Might need a little editing. I personally haven't got around to it yet.

  • I think that this phone is just what a beginner need. Affordable, with not complicated features. I will sure go to buy it as it costs only 10 euros in Greece and it has good design and features that other phones in ultra-low cost category haven't. It's my first time using a cell phone and I think that this suit me!!!!

  • I think i'm going to get one of these for the 10 euro it costs in Greece, instead of the 30 euro the battery for my Nokia costs! I'm tired of all the complications of other phones. Wouldn't mind a camera on it, but hey! It only costs 10 euro !!!

  • calculator = this fone

  • This phone cost just 800 Rs at Mangalore, India!!!!

  • Great phone torch luks like camera

  • No1

  • Good Fone. Cheap Fone. Battery is great fone, No-Card-No-MP3-No-Camera-NoWiFi-No-Nothing But a realy good fone... Who want to use a dual/triple sim phone but cant find at bellow 2K, for them this is a superb! fone though U have to buy 3 of them ;-)

  • You can use any SIM

  • Hi Guys, can anyone please tell me whether I would be able to use Sim card of any other mobile operator (GSM of course) ???

  • Cost in INDIA is INR.799 Cheapest Phone in Indian Mobile History....

  • top buttons - left menu, right menu, navigation controls, call answer, call reject don't illuminate during use...

  • good fone for them who live in remote areas and also a cheap 1 in just 10 euros (Rs 610) thats great

  • What the hell is this? why would anyone buy such a phone? Maybe as a prank!

  • this is really a mindblowing mobile i have ever seen..and i am going to gift this mobile to my brother ali on his birthday

  • Thats the point - it should be more atractive. Becides :) my first was me40 siemens - and it looked much better, and had more functions. That was 5 years ago. Whats the point buying new one like this once you can get old but better phone for same price.

  • hi this very good news to me i want to bye this

  • this is really mind-blowing cell phone!. The design is truly world class and looks are second best to none.I am dropping NOKIA 6233 for this cell phone.

  • oh come on this thing is meant to be a budget phone and it only costs 11 euros so dont expect it to look like a motorola auora or arte. duh!

  • Smart strategy for Vodafone....10 Euro......cheapest phone ever..

  • The uglyest phone ever.I can't beleive that phones like this are on sale in the year 2010.

  • That is true... if you phone is getting snatchen, then it will get snatched, no matter of you have a cheap or expansive model, however, if you go in to an alley like that , i am sure you will not wave arround your 8800 Arte just like that :-P

  • I still find it an very very ugly phone, i don't mind the B&W displays, that is fine with me, since those displays give you a huge amount of battery time and they are better to read in very sunny conditions (look at the Nokia 1280). Next to that, if you go to a country like africa (or some parts of azia) then you might bump into the problem that, how simple or how expansive your phone is, you just won't be able to get a connection since some parts of those countries don't have GSM/GPRS/UMTS system, because they are to remote from any big city. So, comming back on to my comment to this phone, the features are good, the performance is good, but the design just laks of inspiration :-D.

  • yeah u better b

  • come on, when a snatcher snatches your phone, do they ask you if u r rich or not? as long as they snatch a phone, it's all right, so people are practically buying phones which would hurt them less when it gets snatched or something. imagine, you were walking down a deep dark ally holding your 8800 gold arte and it got snatched, perhaps you'd cry, but if this gets snatched from you, you can recover in just a week or so, :) but they should have made this thing look more attractive,

  • Worst design for phone even as compared to the phone is used in 2000. Even the gift would look like a piece of garbage when the someone hold in his/her hand.

  • One more thing though, i understand that this conecpt is for "poor" countries, but if you take a look at the so called "poor" countries then you see that the there is nothing wrong with the telecom market there, give the people good stuff, the can use and make that affordable (look at Alcatel and Sagem they get the idea).

  • I am sorry.... but c'mon, what an ungly mobile phone, i have to say, the specs are good, but I am sure with our current technology they could have a little bit more effort in to this, even Nokia can make better looing phones then this. I think, in this case, Vodafone should stay with just the 250, and through away this ugly 150... :-D

  • Dude, did you seriously have to add that it was targeted at poor African countries? Be more reasonable and focus on the phone itself, rather that where it's heading to. Cheers.

  • I think it's a great idea, some people can't afford the luxury of a more fancy phone and actually need it for calling instead of stupid fancy crap.

  • Looks like it doesn't have T9 predictive text. But it does have games!

  • Rather odd that they are selling it in South Africa. We have 4 Mobile Operators; Vodafone, MTN, Cell C & Virgin, WITH 2G, 3G & 3.5G Networks in most urban areas. The market is massive, with more than 83% of South Africa's population currently using mobiles. That means 40 Million people use the mobile networks. Even in this country phones have become diposable. This will add to the rubbish heap.

  • nice phone at a price of rs600 its cheap but design sukks

  • Does this device have sms? Well it's for poor African countries which doesn't have mobile technology now in 2010... And price of 15$ is ok... It's excellent for its purpose!

  • nice phone for 1998!!
