I've bought it ~3 years ago for 140 euros. Everything was fine then but, CONS - Now: 1. the camera doesn't focus - the camera protection glass felt; 2. the battery drains fast - and it doesn't indicate the procentage correctly. After it is 20% in less than 10 minutes goes to 0% without browsing; 3. the logo on the back almost felt; 4. storage almost full - I'm using 10 common apps and I have a few photos and 5-10 songs and the memory is almost 95%; 5. Instagram freezes; 6. the internet is slow in the mountain area; 7. weak signal near the woods; 8. it gets hot; 9. doesn't support external memory card PRO: - iPhone look-alike - small and handly - still fast enough

My Mi 4 is LTE for Europe and i have LTE working. Mi 4 LTE supports both of LTE variants. For Asia (China) TD LTE and for rest FDD LTE variants of a super speed network. But now have two variants for ordering CU LTE and CT LTE. CU (Chna Unicom network) LTE support FDD LTE but CT (China Telekom network) LTE support only TD LTE... They come in 2GB and 3GB models. You got the 2GB model. But it might still be a knockoff if the sound is poor. The Mi4 has an excellent speaker.

I dont know why mine only has 2gb ram? Anyone else has the same concern? This is a very nice phone. Battery life is superb! Both cameras are great! Sound quality is poor though. I need to use my headphones or a bluetooth speaker to listen to music. Voice calls quality is ok though. Browsing the web is really fast. Display is a bit on the dull side if you are coming fron OLED or Retina displays. Heats up wheb playing for a long period of time. Despite its shortcomings, this is an awesome phone which comes at a very affordable price tag.

This phone is sooo overrated! too pricey for it's specs and no expandable memory. How inconsiderate is the manufacturer to not put an SD for all those files and pictures and price it almost premium! Really Mi 4 is the one of the best phone in the market not only Mi4 but Readmi 2 is also the good one at resonable price range.It's my personal opinion better to go For Mi 4 or One Plus One rather to go for Samsung, HTC,LG and Sony under 20K just look at the spec. They just making us foll.Charged huge money and provide us very limited spek.,Actually Samsung , HTC,LG and Sony will concentrate only in their high end product.Their lower and mid range sigment always be neglected.

All that I can say is mi4 is a good phone. It has good quality camera both front n back and everything is nice. What I have studied is that more people are buying fake mi phones which they have to be skeptical to where they make their online purchse otherwise they will continue to experience bad mi phones all the time.... Hey, to all that is going to buy Xiaomi Mi4, please do a lot of research unto knowing whether your Mi4 is original or not (I'm not talking about warranty issue, but specs) I bought a brand new Mi4 from a local retailer, claiming it to be original, but when I got home, it felt as if something is awfully wrong. And, unfortunately, I was right. I happened to have bought a fake one. Because, outside, it really looks original (yes, I did an earlier research on spotting a fake Mi4, but I did not finish my research on fake Mi4, thus, this has cost me severely) Opening the software parts, there is when I found out my Xiaomi Mi4, newly bought, not even 1 day old, was fake. I am indeed disappointed in myself for not doing a proper read out on spotting a fake Mi4, and I do hope everyone who will be planning to buy a Mi4, please read through on how to spot it. Thanks

I've been using this for three months already and disaster ppl disaster. Yup it does boast a gud Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, but the phone cant handle it at all, i mean the display is turning YELLOW, (Internal Memory) files Keeps getting corrupted if i copy them or move them. >.< , Yaa i tried a memory card and it couldnt handle it, every thing was corrupted just as i viewd em. Sound is really nice as long as the player is not goin craxy, yup the player has a mind of its own it might play one song for the whole playlist

Huawei, Lenovo, Meizu, etc also use LTE bands 1 and 3 only for most of their WCDMA (China Unicom) versions so they are just as bad. Only a few Chinese mobile phones support 1/3/7 (which still isn't enough for many people outside China). However I've noticed that some recent China Mobile handsets from Lenovo and Xiaomi support LTE bands 3 / 7, WCDMA 850 / 1900 / 2100MHz and GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900MHz in addition to TD-LTE and TD-SCDMA. I assume it's for foreign roaming agreements so I don't know if they are locked to China Mobile SIM-cards or not. But in theory they will work better in countries like Malaysia or USA.

i dunno y people keep on saying mi4's design is copied from the iphones or especially the 5s.looking from the front the iphone 5s has the front cam on the top of the speaker grill but the mi4 has on the side like any other device.also mi4 has a brand logo on the side whereas the 5s dont.Now below the screen,5s has a round button and the mi4 has 3 softtouch capacitive buttons.the mi4 has power and volume rockers to the right and sim slot to the left butt the 5s has sim slot to the right volume rockers to the left and the power key to the top.also,to the back they r completely different.and the mi4 has 3.5mm jack on top but the 5s has it in the bottom.in 5s there are two speakers at bottom and in mi4 there is a single speaker with even minute holes than the 5s.the steel frame in mi4 has very nice chamfered mirror finish unlike the 5s.And also 5s looks like a baby infront of the mi4.Just using the metal frame wont make it a copy of iphone its just a design and any body can use it.Like every phone has screen on front,Camera at the back..so can we say that each and every phone is copying every other phone??Xperia P was a full metal body and today htc m8 is,but no one is telling htc copied sony,cause saying it will be funny and so is the case here.

Very limited LTE band, Xiaomi has called off the plan to launch Mi4 in Malaysia as it's not compatible with Band 7 2600mhz which been use by most telco, what a disaster, I bet Mi Note would end up same fate, well guess Huawei, Oppo, Lenovo, Meizu, Vivo, Asus would be happy to know Xioami kills their own market due to own limitations.

2 months, 64 GB, works incredibly fine, HR (Croatia, Europe) - only 3G, ordered directly from CN; regularly patched by Xiaomi. Needs only better support for the IR blaster (English interface). Sometimes compass needs calibration. Decent successor of my Nokia N9; battery definitely rulez, ... good value for money.

Do not buy from China Mobile. They use a network system (TD-SCDMA) that is unique to China. China Mobile phones are NOT compatible with CDMA moble networks (i.e., those in USA, Canada and many other places). If you are in China, buy from China Unicom...and ensure it is a CDMA....

Be careful when you buy a Xiaomi Phone, we bought a MI4 with the same price, when I got it, it was working fine, after doing some test something was fishy, it was a fake, even the person who sold it to us is not aware of it. We returned it and refunded our money. Check Xiaomi sites to identify the fake with real.
