I have Lenovo S880 since two and half years. Its charging jack got damaged six month back. I approached service centre. Till three months, set lying there despite several times approaching there. All mobile sets rae better than any other premuim brand in India but response from help line or from service centre is very poor.

Really love this phone, i used it for more than 2 years now, it drained into the water bcause accident but it still working fine. i just need to dry it on sunlight. And the battery life really good, i love to play clash of clan on this phone, its very smooth and the touchscreen really good respons. about the memory, u just need to buy external memory, and there's option to move it to SD Card without using any application to move it. Was a user of this phone and for today's era This phone can be considered slow. With BBM, Facebook, Line, Instagram and Whatsapp installed it lags. Battery life is ok for a 5 inch. If you're looking for a game phone avoid this lenovo buy the other one... And don't forget that you buy lenovo you'll rarely get system upgrade. Oh one more thing the power button is easily broken.

YOu the battery is usually normal that is easy to low bat, specially if you a Quad core, not only Lenovo, even all others Android now a days. all you can do is don't download a lot of game or others that not necessary to use to minimized the use and t prevent and save some battery power in your Cell....

Use the file manager to copy/cut files to other folders. To activate 3G (Hsdpa), go to Settings, Others, Cellular Network, GSM/UMTS Network Preference, WCDMA Only. You should see the network icon changes to 3G or H. Not E or G anymore.

To Asep : Your problem is same with me. But, I got the solution. When you playing Music Player, go to menu>equalizer. And then, you turn on equalizer button. You choose equalizer setting as you want. And the last, back to music player you'll listen louder sound than before.

there's a reason why this phone Lenovo s880 have 512ram and single core only, they're balance the specifications so you don't have any problem, the Cortex-A8 high-performance processor is proven in end devices (for single core only and 1gh) so you can use it longer why there's is no lag issue or something crash happen, all Lenovo phone's has balance specifications, they're smart enough to see that thing, mean while other company they're put so much higher specification and i think they're do not know how to balance it, Im not kinda shit IT or something expert on hardware, but i can see Lenovo is the best performance and and expert on hardware to maintain the excellent and CHEAP phone..(they're start to made laptops then android phone's)

i had used these kind of gadget for about 8 months, but with another brand that is Tabulet. I also had try the ZTE. The basic things is it's also dual card & 3G connection. The speed is okay (depends on the Network Operator & Signal). I can switch between using the data connection from sim card A to B without any problem also. The different is, usually if I use the data connection from the Major sim card (sim A) the data connection speed will be more quicker compare if i use from the Minor sim card (sim B). Btw, one thing that i dislike with these kind of brand, it will be almost impossible that we will get the update os version, like from android 4.0 to 4.1. But if we use the big brand gadget (samsung, htc, etc), it will be guarantee that we will get the OS update as soon if it's available..

Guys am having problem with my S880, my mobile data is not working. I'm using Sun Cellular prepaid and I already have APN settings defaulted for sun internet, i turned on all settings that i can think of to enable my mobile data. All settings are properly set up, but yet my internet still doesn't work. My wi-fi is perfectly working though. I don't know what to do now. Sun cellular cust service cannot help me not even lenovo cust service, unless i bring it to their warranty service center. Any sugestion? or anyone have the same issue?

Rulio, I have had this phone for a month or so, I have been playing much with this phone. Now Iam also using XL for my carrier (SIM card). I have also Simpati, Tri and Smartfren with me. I think and in my opinion, your Lenovo is having problem with its sim card. All you need to do is " FACTORY DATA RESET" but before doing this you should try to change with other sim card, if it still doesn not work you must do " factory data reset". Don't forget to back up all your data and apps you have installed. If you still have problem with your phone you can send me an email, who know i can help you with your phone. [email protected]

Try this , install GPS Test apk from Play Store. Run it, press menu button, setings, then update AGPS. This will update position of nearest gps satellites to your location. Works on cheapo huawei boulder.

Hii Guys, I bought this 2 days before. A wonderful piece with such an nice price I got it around 190 USD / 20000 INR. It is packed with features that no other can give on such a small price. It got Android 4.0 , Dual Sim - With Dual standby- Works quiet nicely on both networs one 3G another 2G. Most Important thing its Battery 2250 maH will last more than a day with heavy use. On this section i will beat any Samsung smart phones. Camera is nice with 5 MP rear and VGA front . I tried for video calling on Skype and its work nicely.
