  • Its Carl Zeiss optics helped me to take thousands of photomicrographs through my lab microscope inn the late 2000s. The MP4 camera was only 0.3 MP resolution with 12 fps... which was poor quality, but still a lot better than the 3gp cameras of those days. And the video sound was very clear! Games were excellent. But the only disadvantage was its low keypad. My thumb had to bend a long way down to use it.

  • Using N73 (Music Edition) since 2008. Only replaced the battery. Only problem is that the same slot is used for both data transfer and ear phone, that can get damaged easily. The mini SD card is very rare in the market (even the adapter). Excellent camera clarity (even in todays standard). Still using it as my second phone.

  • I'm bought mine from UAE in 2007. n73 music edition black with 2gb memory card. I still use it in 2015 october. the battery is far gone but the phone is still as fit as a butchers dog. no idea of letting it go since it does everything i want it to do. 300dpi photos in 3.2mp, video calling, UC & Opera, Torch app, remote app (IR ), Google maps, 3d sound etc , never needed anything more still. Irony that a new battery cost more than a used n73. still the best phone i ever used... bdw thanx GSM Arena keep up the good work.

  • Hi friends, its been time I gave a genuine review about this product. I am a proud owner of this piece of wonder for the past 7 years and still I cannot find any fault with this awesome device. Even after all this time, the device works fine and could do almost anything a recent smartphone could do. (no wi-fi and gps). It had 3g even before it was introduced by the network. But also the durability of this phone is partly the way you handle the device. I had never dropped this device and still serves me well. Though, I have bought another phone, I still cannot let go of my faithful companion. Hats off to Nokia for creating this wonder. The camera quality, sound quality is awesome....

  • Hi Shankar, I want to inform you that to use 3G on your Nokia N73 you have to select UMTS network from your handset network setting. Don't select Dual Mode, select UMTS mode. Your handset will restart and you are able to use 3G services. This phone is very good for 3G specially for video calling. Try this. Best of luck

  • This was the first expensive phone I ever bought and I have to say it is the best phone I have ever had. The camera worked amazingly giving crisp very clear images. The battery life seemed to last long I never had issues with it. The screen was easy and clear to see even in sunlight. The transition between its applications for me was a bit slow although it was well worth the wait. Everything about it for me felt exciting. I rate this phone 9/10

  • Had this phone for 7 years. Never broken down once. It can be slow, but it has chugged away, never dropped a call. On the outside, true to the Nokia name, it's an indestructible brick. It's withstood years and years of skiing trips, crashes, bumps, drops, scrapes, and the thing WILL. NOT. DIE. Gradually the edges of the face plates have chipped away but that is just simple aesthetics. The screen is really sharp, and because the LCD is behind a pane of 3310-grade plastic, if I drop it it won't break. (cough cough iPhone)the backlighting on the keys is blue, which I really like. To me, the keypad is a bit small, but it just feels so much more tactile than a touchscreen keyboard. Joystick makes it pocket call a lot, but keep it locked and it won't bother you. all in all, brilliant phone, one of the all-time greats that Nokia has ever made.

  • this phone do not have windows phone 8 cannot be upgradable to 8.1 and it needs atleast 1gb ram and 1.5ghz dual core processor at not even plays HD videos camera should be 8 mp with 1080p rec screen size should be 4.5 at minimum and should come wish wifi and nfc and gorilla glass 2 and with minimum of 2800mah battery . for this specs i will say only 1500 indian rupees

It has got all features in 2006 (release yr) which nowadays phones lacks (3g, bluetooth, infrared, usb through pop port, primary and secondary camera, a good o.s, HTML browser, java, radio, - Push to talk, Video download, WMV/RV/MP4/3GP video player, MP3/WMA/WAV/RA/AAC/M4A music player, Predictive text input, Voice command/dial, Organizer, Printing, Document viewer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF), Photo/video editor, cut and copy, message can be saved in phone or memory card, and enough battery.). . . . . the only problem which i found sometimes was less ram, less internal memory, and only 2gb expandable memory. NOW I WANTED TO BUY A NEW PHONE. I DON'T WANT TO BUY ANDROID. OTHER OPTION IS WINDOWS LUMIA. But WP8 PHONES ARE GOING TO BE VERY COSTLY. Then install rompatcher 3.1 and check the two components there. And boom your cell is completely hack. And you can install any application you want without any hassle.   • Good phone except as with all Nokia Symbian phones they just never gave them enough processor or ram to run smoothly, and they were always like a generation behind on processor speed against the competition, so when you install a few Apps the phone barely moves, and then of course the web browser that only has a miniscule amount of ram allocated so can barely open any web pages.

  • Format ur cell phone. To do this process first you must switch off the phone. And then pres and hold *, 3, green key all togather and then press the switch on button. Hold all the keys togather until it shows you ur country name or some other things. But dont forget to backup all the contacts and important stufs in phone memory. U can try this process in all the S60 phones........

As a matter of fact, I intend to keep using it until its last breath. One of the neatest features in it is the copy-paste function. This phone is a gem and I will miss it dearly once it dies.

  • Hello... N73 supports only 2 GB. You many wonder why The Legendary Phone has low external memory! But 2GB was very very high when it was released 6years back. Everyone dropped their jaw after seeing it's 2GB memory. But... only the TIME has the power to make disappear the PRESENT RECORDS. Who knows the present 16 or 32 GBs may look little in future.

  • Ha, finally able to set FullScreene Wallpaper after hacking my N73. It's gives me a strange feeling to have full screen wallpaper! I've successfully completed 4 years of using this mobile. This is the 5th year. A year ago I purchased X6 for a change. But it gave a very very bad experience. I mean the mobile was great. But I didn't feel comfortable with it's total touch. So sold it away after a month of usage and am continuing with my N73. I'm totally satisfied with this. Many of my friends suggest me to go for a new mobile. But there is no phone that could replace N73. I mean with keypad. C5 would have been a good option if it had 2.6 or 2.8 screene with Nokia Belly Os

  • Been using this phone since January 17,2006 till now, running 6yrs. I can't upgrade as I am not able to find newer phones as durable as N73 ME (bought in Kuwait for 112 KD, 2006). I ones upgraded the firmware and it's still ok. Unless you have a very, business like lifestyle, this phone will serve you best.
